A friend told me they wanted to go to a restaurant because they had something they wanted to eat, so I went with them. I've been to Amerikamura a few times, but I didn't know there was a place like this. I tried the Ice Dog with vanilla and caramel sauce for 550 yen. Honestly, I thought it was a bit expensive for just a hot dog bun with ice cream in it for 500 yen. But after reading other reviews, some people mentioned that it was reasonable. It's all subjective I guess, but still, isn't it a bit pricey? Anyway, I had to try it at least once. It took a little time for them to fry the bun, so I waited in the indoor seating area. There were lots of autographs from comedians and boxers, and posters and photos of a visual kei band called UNiTE were all over the place. When the Ice Dog arrived, it had a crispy hot bun and cold ice cream. The combination was good and it was tasty, but it was pretty much what I expected. The price of wheat flour has gone up, and the price of ice cream has increased too, so maybe it's inevitable, but still, it's on the expensive side.
