Momonji at Abeno Bridge is a traditional yakiniku restaurant where you grill your meat on charcoal grills at your table. We tried the Momonji Akamori for 1680 yen and Momonji Shiramori for 1280 yen. We also ordered a Namul platter and Kimchi platter. The sauce is a sweet soy sauce base. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. It's a great place for charcoal grill lovers.

I visited the yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Momonji" near Tennoji Station. It's a place where you can enjoy a hearty meal from lunchtime, which was great. The meat I ate was delicious, making it an excellent restaurant overall. It's very convenient that you can order from the lunch menu to the dinner menu. The sauce they provide is my favorite type, allowing you to generously marinate the meat. The grilled green onion with salt, which I don't usually like, was surprisingly tasty here. The green onion was cooked well and had a citrusy flavor, possibly from lemon juice, making it delicious even on its own. It paired well with other meats besides the tongue. The meat, including the tongue, was cut from whole pieces using a slicer and then seasoned before being served, showing the restaurant's commitment to quality. The non-offal meats were more delicious than the offal, especially when combined with the sauce. This is a yakiniku restaurant that grills over charcoal. They used to have thick-cut tongue, but recently they changed their menu. I tried the salted tongue, which came with salt, pepper, and lemon sauce on the side. When I ate it, I felt more bitterness than umami, and the lemon sauce added acidity. Personally, I didn't like it. The upper harami was lightly marinated and delicious with a good size.

I chose this restaurant, "Yakiniku Momonji," for a reunion with my middle school friends that we occasionally have. I had been curious about this place for a while, and it was finally realized thanks to a request from my classmates. As everyone had said, the meat looked really good, and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was high-quality meat. It was incredibly delicious when I tried it. It's definitely a restaurant worth revisiting. We ate, drank, talked, laughed, and had the happiest time together. Eating a meal with close friends from middle school is truly the best experience.

On a weekend morning, two of us visited the restaurant. I had some drinks while my companion ordered a generous assortment set meal. We had beer, highball, shochu highball, and the total bill was less than 7000 yen for both of us. Apart from drinks, we ordered what you see in the photo (rice, soup, salad from the set meal are omitted). The grilled heart was okay. The soy sauce was a bit sweet, I prefer regular soy sauce. The kimchi was delicious! All of it. The white beef tripe was already seasoned with sesame oil, salt, and green onions, which was tasty but I prefer raw tripe with chojang (red, sour sauce). The pork belly in the set meal had a good amount of fat but since I only had one slice, I didn't get heartburn. The dipping sauce for the grilled meat was quite refreshing, which was nice. I didn't eat a lot so I can't say for sure. The beef tripe portion was a bit small for the price, but the taste was good. It was relatively quiet on the weekend we went, and there were no disappointments with the food we tried, so I would like to go again and try more dishes. I haven't tried the tongue or liver yet, so maybe next time.

When I traveled to Tennoji, I was looking for a yakiniku restaurant, but all the ones nearby were fully booked and I couldn't get in. I visited Momonji, and they said they had two seats available at the counter, so they let us in. I'm not a fan of high chairs with no footrests, and the counter seats had small tables, so it wasn't the most comfortable for a long stay. But the restaurant was very lively, and the meat was really delicious! We had thick-cut beef tongue and fresh liver. The portion per serving was quite small, but the meat was fatty and satisfying, so we were happy with the amount for less than 10,000 yen for two people. I didn't drink alcohol. I also ordered the beef tendon ponzu, which turned out to be unexpectedly delicious! The chewy tendons were well stewed, and when sprinkled with shichimi, it was amazing!

It was my first time in a while at Yakiniku Momonji. Normally I go for lunch, but this day I had yakiniku. We had salted tongue, sirloin, kalbi, assorted vegetables, assorted kimchi, mini green salad, bean sprout namul, chijimi, and draft beer. I thought I wouldn't be able to eat that much, so I ordered an additional serving of Momonji shiro. It was delicious. Maybe my age is why I enjoy horumon so much. The total for two people was 9100 yen, which seems reasonable. It was delicious.

A restaurant that serves only meat without kimchi or Korean seaweed. The mini salad dressing was delicious with McCormick French flavor, and the soup had plenty of green onions which was good. They also asked if I wanted cold water for my drink, which was a nice touch. Oh, and I think they gave me grated garlic. The charcoal-grilled meat was okay, but it's still not satisfying without garlic.

Located just south of Kintetsu Abeno Bridge Station, on the east side of Abeno Hoop. Lunch is only available on weekends and holidays from 12:00 pm. The lunch menu includes the Upper Day Set for 1,800 yen, which includes a selection of premium meats, rice, soup, salad, and pickles, along with a lunch chu-hi for 270 yen. The salad includes watercress, lettuce, purple cabbage, onions, etc., with a refreshing dressing. The soup is a tail soup with green onions, and there is also scallion rice and pickles on the side. The premium meats include upper loin, harami, and pork belly, totaling about 120-130g. The meat is cooked to perfection and served with a delicious sauce made with gochujang.

The first floor has a counter and a few small tables. The second floor has a sunken kotatsu. The atmosphere is different between the first and second floors. On the second floor, you order using a touch panel. The tables are large, so it's hard to hear conversations when sitting across from each other. If there are two people, sitting at the counter is better. The nearby hiragana restaurant "Momonji" is a place that serves grilled meat on skewers.

I want to have a casual drink with my friend ^_^ While strolling around, we found this place with a cute name. Since there were just two of us, we sat at the counter. We started with cold beer and toasted with tongue salt and yukhoe! It was such a happy moment, haha. Both were delicious! Next, we tried some hormone dishes. There were many rare cuts available. We ordered the classic ones, but the gizzard and shima-cho were also tasty! We had a fun time drinking and left quickly. Thank you for the meal!

◎Osaka Abenobashi Daytime Yakiniku Lunch◎ We went to "Yakiniku Momonji" near Kintetsu Osaka Abenobashi Station for a yakiniku lunch. The restaurant is located on the east side of Abeno Hoop, with a two-story interior featuring counter seats and table seats on the first floor, and tatami seats on the second floor. This shop is produced by the long-established meat shop "Marutake Sakamoto," and the nearby horumon shop Monji-san is also an affiliated store. On this day, we shared the lunch sets "Hirumameshi" and "Shiromeshi," enjoying delicious yakiniku and drinks during the day. The quality of the yakiniku meat was good for the price, and the retro atmosphere of the restaurant made it a nice place to casually enjoy tasty yakiniku and drinks.

My daughter loves this yakiniku restaurant because they are open on weekends without a break, so we can always enjoy a meal even at odd times. Her favorite dishes are thick-cut tongue, salted tongue with green onions, and salted tongue. I personally love the white intestine, which is very fluffy and addictive. We always toast with a mega-sized jug.

Around 1:30 pm on Saturday afternoon... I couldn't get the image of the meat I saw on TV in the morning out of my head, so I decided to visit a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant that I had been noticing for a while with my partner. The restaurant is conveniently located near Abeno Bridge, just south of Yamachan and Lawson. The first floor of the restaurant has a counter at the center and two two-person table counters, creating different spaces. There seems to be a sunken hearth in the second floor tatami room, suitable for larger groups. We were guided to a nice spot at the counter and ordered a bottle of beer for 500 yen and the lunch set for 1,000 yen. We enjoyed the beer while waiting for our food. The counter had a shichirin (charcoal grill) set up, enhancing the yakiniku atmosphere. In about 5 minutes, a mini salad, meat platter, soup, rice, and pickles arrived one by one. The meat was a mix of pork belly, loin, and harami (skirt steak), and despite being a lean cut, it had a good volume. We grilled the meat on the grill and enjoyed the combination of the meat's fat, umami, chewy texture, and the sweetness of the sauce. We also ordered a hormone mix for 980 yen, which included various types of offal such as small intestine, liver, and harami. The offal dishes arrived promptly and we grilled them on the grill as well. Each type of offal had its own unique texture and flavors, making the meal enjoyable. Even though we were satisfied with the meat platter alone, having beer with it during a holiday lunch just wasn't enough to fill us up. From the affordable meat platter to the offal mix, "Yakiniku Momonji" is a great place to enjoy a fulfilling meal. Highly recommended!

I went to have a peaceful drink, but it was Sunday today. The place was closed and I almost collapsed... I quickly searched and found a place where I could enjoy solo yakiniku without worrying about time. They had bottled beer, harami, salted tongue, and cheap kimchi. Just that made me happy. Thank you for the meal!

We went as a family of 5 and it cost 20,000 yen (0 years old, 2 years old, 7 years old, 2 adults). The taste was okay, but the Bibimbap was excellent. Overall, I think it's good, but the food takes a long time to come after ordering. So there was a long wait between ordering and the food arriving, which made it difficult to eat because we were already full.
