We started with freshly baked focaccia. There were two pasta options for the day, and we shared both: pork mince arrabbiata and cod and vegetable ragu pasta. It was my first time trying the cod and vegetable ragu pasta, and it was delicious! For the main course, we had grilled beef steak and grilled sea bream with basil sauce. Having a little bit of both meat and fish was great! And the birthday surprise we were looking forward to, the Birthday Plate with "Happy Birthday" and her name on it, was just as we ordered! Despite being a cream pasta, there was hardly any cream sauce. It felt more like an oil-based pasta. Considering the price of around 1,600 yen for just the pasta, it was ridiculously expensive. The staff seemed to be very relaxed or slow in their service. We were informed at the beginning that the seating was for 90 minutes with the last order at 60 minutes. It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Worried about the pace, I requested for the iced coffee to be served with the meal, but it never came. When the coffee finally arrived, I asked for milk and syrup, but it took another 5 minutes and I couldn't drink it. Despite the slow service, the last order and the bill came right on time, so there was no time to relax. With this price and service, I don't think I will ever go back. It's a shame because the restaurant had a nice terrace and atmosphere.
