During the day, I revisited Nagahama Ramen Menmen, a popular restaurant that serves authentic tonkotsu ramen and is open 24 hours a day. I purchased a ramen (650 yen) and an extra noodle (100 yen) ticket. I ordered the noodles to be cooked "normal" after being asked about their firmness. On the table, there were black pepper, white sesame, spicy pickled vegetables, and red pickled ginger. The ramen was served. I enjoyed the first bowl as it was. The toppings included thinly sliced chashu pork and green onions, as well as roasted seaweed. The noodles were slightly thicker than the typical Nagahama style. The hot tonkotsu broth was light yet flavorful. I used to think that roasted seaweed was unnecessary for tonkotsu ramen, but it surprisingly complemented this broth well. Even after adding the extra noodles, I was able to enjoy the hot soup. After the extra noodles, I added a generous amount of spicy pickled vegetables and white sesame. This is the essence of Hakata ramen!! Thank you for the meal.

I had tonkotsu ramen and fried rice. The Nagahama ramen has a light soup, and it's rare to find fried rice as a side dish. There are plenty of condiments for flavoring, making it a tasty meal even with extra noodles. The fried rice was a bit moist but delicious.

Ramen is the best. On this day, my friends stayed over so I couldn't drink. One friend drove us for midnight ramen. I'll definitely gain weight. Thank you for the meal! \(^o^)/

I visited Menmen, a ramen shop in Nagahama for the first time on a late night. I purchased a ramen ticket for 650 yen and ordered the noodles to be cooked normally. First, I was served spicy pickled vegetables, red pickled ginger, and a ladle. Then, a bowl of ramen with white broth was brought to me. The toppings included two slices of thinly sliced pork chashu, green onions, and roasted seaweed. The noodles were thick and straight, typical of Nagahama ramen. The hot pork bone broth was light yet flavorful and robust. I contemplated getting an extra serving of noodles, but decided against it. I added the spicy pickled vegetables halfway through, which added a nice kick. I was able to encounter a delicious bowl of Nagahama ramen. Thank you for the meal.

Rich and creamy tonkotsu ramen. Recommended for those who like a stronger flavor. Adding pickled vegetables changes the taste, so it's delicious to add according to your preference. The noodles were slightly soft, but it also matched well with the soup and tasted delicious.

Umakacchan! This ramen is really... I can never resist the lemon sour (lol). Definitely recommend having boiled eggs and beer here. Believe me, it's really delicious! Thank you for the meal! \(^o^)/

I always think that Nagahama ramen tastes better in the suburbs rather than in the Nagahama area.

Introducing Nagahama Ramen Menmen in Mitsuhashi, Hakata-ku. I haven't been able to accurately determine how many years this place has been in business, but from what I remember, it has been operating for quite a long time and is open 24 hours a day. Located at the corner of a complex with a supermarket and a coin laundry, it has a shared parking lot with space for 27 cars. Tenants can enjoy 1 hour of free parking. Outside the store, there are two 4-seater tables and vending machines. Inside, there are about 20 seats along the wall and table seats. The shop uses noodles from the well-established Kitamura Seimenjo, founded in 1958. The menu can be checked at the ticket machine on the right side, with a variety of toppings and set menus available. Personally, I recommend the yakimeshi set when you visit here! I also ordered some gyoza. The ramen, yakimeshi, and gyoza arrived shortly after ordering. The ramen is simple with plenty of green onions, thinly sliced chashu, and seaweed. The soup is light but well-emulsified, smooth, and not fishy. The noodles are medium-thick with a good chewiness. The chashu is lightly seasoned and has a meaty texture. Adding shichimi pepper and pickled mustard greens enhances the flavors. The yakimeshi is shrimp fried rice, very fluffy and flavorful. The gyoza is bite-sized, well-seasoned, and pairs well with rice or beer. I ordered an extra serving of noodles, which were delicious. The place is open 24 hours, making it a reliable spot for good ramen anytime. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. #NagahamaRamenMenmen #PorkBoneRamen #24HourOperation #FukuokaRamen #RamenEnthusiast

I visited "Menmen" in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City after a long time. Despite it being Sunday morning at 8:30, I was surprised to see that there were 6 groups and 15 customers already there. I bought a ramen ticket for 590 yen at the ticket machine. I was happy to see that the prices have remained the same since my last visit two years ago. The chashu pork slices were more substantial this time, and the soup was light yet flavorful. However, I felt like they may have overdone it with the pepper, making it spicier than I remembered. I was a bit disappointed until I checked my previous review and realized that I had actually noticed it back then. The extra noodle refill was still 80 yen, and the spicy pickled mustard greens were delicious. Overall, I was satisfied with the meal.

Tsukushi Street is a place I often frequent, but on this day, I was driving through the southern area which I don't usually pass by during a late lunch time. I noticed this place called "Nagahama Ramen Menmen" that I had seen before but never visited. Lately, I haven't been eating much tonkotsu ramen, so maybe my health isn't great. The interior of the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and despite it being idol time, there were quite a few customers. I ordered the "B Lunch Set (ramen and 6 gyoza)" for 750 yen from the ticket machine and took a seat at the counter to wait. The ramen and gyoza were brought to me almost at the same time. The bowl of ramen looked attractive with a clean soup. It had a slightly chain-store-like appearance. The gyoza were classic bite-sized dumplings and looked very delicious. Let's eat! I started with the ramen. The soup had a good flavor right from the first sip. The saltiness was decent. It seemed like a type of soup that would appeal to many people. The noodles were clean and straight, and tasty. It was a well-made ramen. The gyoza also had a good flavor. I was tempted to order a refill for 80 yen, but I restrained myself as I was already consuming a lot of calories. Thank you for the meal. Even after I sat down, customers kept rotating in and out. It seems like this ramen shop along the street has a stable and reliable business model. It's a nice place for everyday dining. I will definitely stop by again if I pass by this area.

I came here to eat ramen, beer, and tonkotsu. The prices have been gradually increasing, and there are fewer customers, but I hope everything is okay. I had the tonkotsu here after a long time. Thank you for the meal!

There is a restaurant with a shared parking lot with the business superstore, where you can park for free for 60 minutes. It is a shop where you buy a meal ticket when you enter. I bought a ramen for 590 yen and was asked about the firmness of the noodles when handing over the meal ticket. They have red pickled ginger, spicy pickled mustard greens, sesame, and more on the table. The light pork bone soup enhances the umami flavor with its seasoned taste. I also got a second helping of noodles for 90 yen. It was delicious.

I came to Menmen instead of the usual place. It was crowded with customers here. This time, I decided to try the bean sprout ramen. However, I found that bean sprouts are not suitable for ramen. From now on, I will stick to regular ramen. By the way, the best bean sprout ramen I've had so far is Uma-kacchan's bean sprout topping. Thank you for the meal!

I want to review all my drafts and start with a clean slate. I have a lot of drafts because I am meticulous, which is not ideal. Anyway, today I had a quick drink at Menmen and it was delicious. I think it was really good. Thank you for the meal!

I don't visit this area often, so it was a long time since my last visit. It was lunchtime, but I managed to get a seat. There were many menu options, but I ended up choosing the regular "ramen." The price has gone up a bit, but I guess that's the same everywhere. Still, 590 yen including tax is quite cheap. The noodles were thin and straight, with a bit of firmness to them. Not as ultra-thin as ShinShin or Namajima-tei. The soup was light but had a rich oiliness to it. They used to have pickled ginger and spicy mustard greens on the table, but now they bring them to you when you arrive. The mustard greens were also available for purchase at 300 yen. I wanted to get an extra serving of noodles, but maybe because of my age, I couldn't finish it... (laughs) It had been a while since I last had it, but I still like the ramen here.

I had breakfast and went shopping before work, and I came here, Menmen-san! The ramen is light and delicious! Many people say "extra firm, extra firm" but it's kind of lame haha. The more someone says "extra firm," the more pretentious they seem. Thank you for the meal!

I imagined it would be like the original Nagahama, but it feels more like "Hakoya" now. In that case, the cost performance is not good. I would rather go to "Hakoya". Thank you for the meal.

I'm going to have a morning ramen, feeling like I'll become fat if I eat ramen in the morning. I finished the bowl with lots of pickled ginger. Thank you for the meal. By the way, our ramen shop is under renovation. We're going to make it a cool store!

The broth is light. But, I wonder if this is Nagahama style. Recently, ramen is thick and seems like it could lead to an early death. In that regard, this one is light. Smooth. Extra noodles... Huh? Wasn't it 10 yen? Ramen for 590 yen, extra noodles for 80 yen. Prices are going up, unavoidable. There's also price hikes due to the trend. Discovered ramen sauce while eating the extra noodles with pepper! It's been a while since I last came, so I forgot. The staff didn't say thank you, but maybe that's the Nagahama way.

For lunch, I had a ramen and rice ball set for 680 yen. The ramen was Nagahama style, so it had a strong saltiness and a mild flavor. The pickled mustard greens seemed to be homemade, but the spiciness was mild. Overall, it could use a bit more punch. It might be just right after drinking.
