Wait a minute... There are so many aquariums, and it's such a lovely dining experience, but the all-you-can-drink course is no different from a regular restaurant... What's going on? Don't miss out on the Wagyu steak and Wagyu cutlet sandwich (available for takeout)♪ヽ(〃v〃)ノ Located in the basement of a building in Kita-Shinchi, "Suntory Bar & Dining Mizu Kyo Tei Kita-Shinchi" (Suikyotei) offers a world surrounded by aquariums from the moment the elevator opens♪ The pathway with aquariums on both sides is so charming♪ It's the kind of place that would make any girl's heart race. The atmosphere is excellent, with private rooms connected to the aquariums. Passing through the aquarium pathway, you'll find a counter that is incredibly charming♪ The counter also has aquariums and a gothic-style bar space♪ Behind the counter, there are table seats that extend out. The restaurant is quite spacious. Typically, in Minami, the atmosphere would attract a younger crowd, but in Shinchi, the clientele is older, creating a calm and enjoyable environment. The food and drink menu is quite extensive, and even without the atmosphere, it's a great experience. The all-you-can-drink course starts at 4,500 yen, which is a great deal considering the ambiance. When you order a drink, the first thing they bring you is a gaspacho as a pre-meal treat. The small pieces of cut tomatoes will help alleviate the alcohol entering an empty stomach♪ Usually, I would go for white wine or whiskey, but I got carried away by the atmosphere and ended up ordering a girly cocktail. It was a Sea Breeze cocktail with pineapple juice as the base, along with grapefruit and cranberry for a tropical touch. It was not too sweet, so even as a fan of dry drinks, I found it quite delicious and refreshing, almost like juice♪ The tuna and avocado tartare looked tempting, but I was drawn to the avocado, so I chose that. It comes with lightly toasted bread. The tuna on the side is sprinkled with salmon roe. It's supposed to have a wasabi flavor, but perhaps the basil note comes from the oil? The sauce pairs well and is delicious♪ The homemade strawberry raisin butter was also intriguing. Strawberries in raisin butter—how delightful! It melts in your mouth♪ Some raisin butters can be too thick and make your mouth feel fuzzy, but this one was just right♪ The acidity of the strawberries works well, making it rich yet refreshing. The slice is quite generous, but it's not too buttery, so you can easily gobble it up♪ The Wagyu fillet and foie gras Rossini-style was what I had been waiting for. Wagyu fillet and foie gras together... irresistible! The beautiful Wagyu meat texture♪ It's incredibly tender, with the umami essence sealed in, oozing out♪ The balance and intensity of the sauce are superb and complement the dish perfectly. When you bite into the thick foie gras... you're off to heaven♪ Foie gras is one of my favorite things, so I was beyond happy. Of course, I had a glass of red wine with this♪ The truffle-infused baked risotto arrived in a hot iron pot♪ The aroma... melted cheese and truffle... the slightly burnt edges are irresistible♪ It's so delicious that you'll want seconds. The Wagyu fillet cutlet with truffle was deep-fried to perfection, served with thin slices of bread. The umami essence seeps into the bread, and with each bite, it's juicy... Oh, so delicious... The tenderness of the fillet is just irresistible, and you can chew through it effortlessly. The thickness of the bread is just right, and I love it.
