I found this place through Instagram when I was looking for a restaurant to have lunch with a friend in Tennoji, so we made a reservation and went there. I was a bit concerned about the points that caught my eye in other people's reviews, such as the smell of cigarettes and not-so-good service, so I will focus on those in my review. It was a good thing that we made a reservation as the place was always full during lunchtime on a holiday. When we entered the restaurant, I didn't notice the smell of cigarettes, and the table we were seated at was near the entrance with no one around smoking, so we didn't smell cigarettes at all. Maybe it depends on the seating location and timing of the visit (smoking is allowed in all seats, and ashtrays were available). Also, the cold water pitcher was already on the table and nicely chilled, which was great given the hot weather. We ordered the following: Chicken Tempura Lunch. The staff, all foreigners, were very accommodating, and even though their Japanese was a bit limited, they were able to explain the daily lunch set menu, and the smile of the staff was lovely. The lunch included a large portion of rice and free refills, but the amount of side dishes was a bit small, so it might be tough for those who can't eat just rice. The rice portion itself was already large, and my friend left half of it uneaten... it might be too much for small eaters? I enjoyed the chicken tempura with salt sprinkled on it and finished it all. It was tender, not greasy, light, and delicious. My friend also enjoyed it. After the meal, we were served coffee, and even though the staff seemed busy, when I asked a passing waitress, she responded with a cute smile, asked if I wanted iced coffee, and promptly brought it over. The coffee was a bit weak, but considering the price, the quantity was sufficient, so it was totally okay. They have gum syrup available on the table from the beginning. The waitress who handled the payment seemed a bit mechanical in her service, but it was not uncomfortable, and we left without any issues. Overall, I recommend this place for a casual lunch with friends, but not for a date as it is just a regular izakaya-style restaurant.

I don't really understand why everyone's rating is high. The smell of cigarettes! Everyone was smoking paper cigarettes, and the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. With each bite, the smoke of cigarettes kept coming in thick, making me feel sick. The chicken bowl, the grilled chicken was dry and the flavor was weak... the meatballs were sour. Why sour? I usually never leave food uneaten, but I had no choice but to leave it because it wasn't delicious. I will never go back. I was looking forward to it after seeing the reviews on Tabelog, so I was shocked.

Chicken tempura lunch for 700 yen. Six bite-sized pieces of freshly fried juicy chicken tempura. Served with tempura dipping sauce and salt. Very delicious. Comes with coffee after the meal, which is a great deal for the price. However, the floor operation is unique. More than half of the staff are young foreigners (still not very experienced!). They don't bring water unless you ask and don't come to take orders. But they were trying their best. This is a smoking-permitted establishment, so if you can't stand the smell of smoke, you might want to avoid it. It felt like dining at a Japanese restaurant in Taiwan or Southeast Asia, haha. I'm full. Thank you for the meal.

The food was delicious, but the pudding that was listed on the menu on Tabelog wasn't available, which made me feel a little upset when I asked about it. However, the waiter who came after that was very nice and provided great service, so I left with a good impression. Even though we ordered a course meal, I would have preferred to have been given a menu.

Three of us visited the restaurant. Eggs are expensive, but the orange color looks rich and delicious. We ordered the same thing, but there was variation in the quality, size, and variety of sashimi toppings. One person had tuna, but another person did not. It would be better if they could be consistent since we are at the same table. Well, considering the price, it's a good deal with coffee included.

Today's lunch was at Yuu-san's Chicken and Fish Kitchen located on the north side of the 1st floor of Abeno Q's Mall. I had the grilled chicken rice bowl with free extra rice. The chicken was grilled to perfection and there were large tsukune meatballs. In the middle was a raw egg yolk. The rice portion was just right, and it came with salad and miso soup. The balance of flavors was excellent, and I really enjoyed it. I wonder what I should try next time?

Sashimi lunch for 900 yen. Rice refills and large servings are free. I didn't opt for a large serving this time, as I have a health check-up coming up. But the raw egg that comes with the set meal makes me want a refill. The person at the next table had a seafood bowl and grilled chicken bowl for 700 yen. I think I'll try that next time. The meal also comes with coffee, all for a satisfying price. It was a great lunchtime experience.

At the Abeno Walk on the 1st floor adjacent to the Tennoji Abeno Q's Mall, we made a reservation for the 3-hour all-you-can-drink course (including tax) for 3,800 yen and used it with a group of middle-aged men. The all-you-can-drink menu includes draft beer, highball, shochu, chu-hai, wine, sake, cocktails, soft drinks, and more, making it a great deal. The course meal included appetizers, Caesar salad, sashimi platter, signature tsukune with raw egg yolk, juicy fried chicken, mackerel sushi rolls, and dessert. The cost performance of the food was also quite good. However, the restaurant was very noisy, making it difficult to have a quiet conversation with friends due to the proximity to other guests and thin walls. Additionally, the shared shoe storage area made it difficult to find and retrieve our shoes, causing inconvenience. It would be greatly appreciated if they could improve these aspects for a better customer experience.

In December of the 4th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:30-15:00), a seafood bowl is available for 700 yen, which includes soup, salad, and iced coffee after the meal. The rice is the white rice type, and considering the price, the amount and quality of the seafood toppings are satisfying and delicious. You can choose between hot or iced coffee for the drink after the meal, and it's convenient that smoking is allowed even during lunchtime for smokers.

The restaurant lives up to its name with delicious chicken and fish dishes. We made a reservation for 2 people but suddenly had to add one more person. When we informed the staff, they kindly accommodated us in a spacious seating area. The menu was full of chicken dishes like a variety of chicken meatball platter and chicken liver sashimi, perfect for chicken lovers.

Great cost performance and lively atmosphere! Visited with a friend. We entered right at the 5:00 opening time, but before we knew it, the place was packed! We tried all the specialty dishes! Some dishes don't have photos...! [Appetizer] Simmered sweet potatoes, pumpkin salad, sweet potato side dish - all surprisingly good! [First dish] Sashimi platter - tuna, sea bream, amberjack, yellowtail, salmon. The tuna was especially good! [Second dish] Chicken broth oden - incredibly delicious! Oden made with chicken broth. The ingredients are normal oden, but you can really taste the rich flavor of the chicken broth! The flavor is average. It was so delicious that I wanted to put ramen in it! [Third dish] Octopus and leek salad - a favorite of everyone! Delicious! Goes great with alcohol! [Fourth dish] Assorted meatballs - a specialty dish where you can enjoy various types of meatballs! Personally, I liked the salt flavor the best! There were also chicken sashimi and other dishes, but we had to stop here due to time constraints! There seem to be quite a few affiliated stores, so I would like to try another one sometime.

One of the restaurants I was curious about drinking at in Tennoji. It wasn't crowded today, so I decided to go in. I ordered mainly side dishes. The menu made me want to drink sake, and everything was delicious. Since I have work tomorrow, I kept it light and finished drinking. Located about a 3-minute walk from Tennoji Station on the Osaka metro and JR lines. It is situated on the 1st floor of Abeno Q's Mall, Via Abeno Walk. The tables inside were almost full, so I sat at the counter. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Lunch for 700 yen. It is an open kitchen, so you can see the food being cooked right in front of you. The tempura consisted of 5 crispy pieces, with a mild flavor, and was served with mayonnaise. The meal also included a cabbage salad, pickled radish, lotus root stir-fry, seaweed and green onion miso soup, and surprisingly, a large portion of rice. I was very full after finishing the meal. I waited for about 10 minutes after finishing, but unfortunately, I wasn't offered coffee.

At night, it's an izakaya, and for lunch, they offer set meals. I decided to eat at this restaurant today after seeing the appetizing photos on the sign. There were many menu options, but I instinctively ordered the daily lunch special for 800 yen (tax included) with extra rice. The extra rice and refills are free, and coffee is served after the meal. (I forgot to ask for it today, so maybe you need to request it for it to be served, haha). Today's daily lunch special was chicken steak. Since it's an izakaya set meal, it came with three types of pickles and the presentation was stylish. The chicken was big and the portion of rice was generous, so even though I eat a lot, I was satisfied. The flavor of the chicken steak with black pepper and sauce was delicious. It was nice to be able to change the taste with the salt and lemon placed at the edge of the plate. Thank you for the meal. Another customer ordered the seafood bowl for 700 yen (tax included) with extra rice, and it also looked delicious. (I ended up ordering the daily lunch special even though I came in after seeing the seafood bowl photo on the sign..) I couldn't take a photo since I didn't order it. Today, I went drinking in Tennoji with my junior colleague! Since everyone in the group loves to drink, we decided to go for an all-you-can-drink option (￣▽￣) We searched on Tabelog and found Kitchen Yuu, where they offer a 180-minute all-you-can-drink for 980 yen (plus 2 dishes required). But remember, it's a time-limited offer, so let's order quickly! We ordered a sashimi platter with 6 varieties for 1200 yen (2 servings), drooling chicken for 500 yen, dashi tamago for 550 yen, miso cream cheese for 450 yen, and a variety of tsukune for 980 yen. The restaurant was full, so the drinks took a while to arrive, but other than that, everything was fine and funny. They also have private rooms, making it convenient for various occasions. The food was decent, especially the variety of tsukune which had delicious flavors. When you're looking for a reasonable place to drink in Tennoji, this is a good option! Thank you for the meal!

I was invited by Misaki Senpai to visit for the first time, and it seemed like it used to be a tsukemen shop... It was around 6 o'clock on a holiday and the restaurant was crowded with many customers, but luckily I was able to sit at the counter. Unfortunately, the sashimi was sold out, but the fried and grilled dishes were all reasonably priced and delicious. The drinks were also cheap, and overall I think it's a good value restaurant. The staff were lively and very likable. It's nearby, so I definitely want to visit again.

Today is Sunday. I was looking for a place where I can eat lunch and drink at the same time. I decided to come here because I had visited for lunch on a weekday before. The appearance doesn't look very appetizing, but the taste is decent. The fish is fresh. The grilled fish is cooked perfectly. The chicken also has a nice charcoal flavor. The restaurant is spacious with both table and counter seats, suitable for both large and small groups. They have a variety of menu items with chicken and fish, and considering the prices, it's quite a good restaurant. I would like to come back and relax here in the evening next time.

The service is also lacking in friendliness. It's a rare smoking-friendly restaurant in this day and age. I keep coming back because it's cheap and delicious.

I have been there at night several times, but this was my first time having lunch. I ordered the sashimi set meal, which looked luxurious with the shrimp heads on.
