Lined up among various Korean dishes was the Chicken Lunch, offering a variety of flavors like plain, Yangnyeom, garlic soy sauce, grated ponzu, sweet and spicy pepper, and spicy. The ability to create so many different flavors from chicken is truly impressive. While I chose the basic plain flavor this time, the range of flavors that can be created from here is truly magical. Whether it's Korean-style, Chinese-style, Japanese-style, or Western-style, this place offers a powerful and diverse selection. The Chicken Lunch comes with a choice of chicken, freshly cooked rice, miso soup, two side dishes, and a seasonal salad, making it quite a good deal. The plain flavor has a crispy coating with a savory chicken inside. The seasonal salad is not just a side dish, it perfectly complements the crispy texture of the chicken.

I went to a famous restaurant called "Kannai" in Chayamachi, Kita-ku, Osaka. I ordered the daily lunch special, which was "Grilled Pork Loin with Korean Miso Marinade" for 880 yen. The side dishes included imitation crab sticks and pickled cucumbers. There was also a salad with sesame dressing, which was very healthy and delicious. The meal came with miso soup and rice. The main dish, the grilled pork loin with Korean miso marinade, was very tasty and the flavor of the miso went well with the rice. The restaurant also offers a course menu in the evening, such as the famous "Nishoku Nabe". I pass by this restaurant often but this was my first time dining there. I visited because I wanted to eat a hot pot. There were plenty of ingredients and it was satisfying. The Yannyeom chicken had a strong flavor and was delicious. When I arrived without a reservation, I was informed that they had plans later and only had about 80 minutes of availability, but I had enough time to eat and the service was polite.

This time, I passed by this restaurant with a friend while looking for a place to eat. We ordered the famous hot pot and chijimi. The hot pot was the classic two-color style, and the chige was not too spicy, and went perfectly with the motsu. The recommended chijimi was topped with mentaiko sauce. The heart-shaped kimbap that came out for the two middle-aged men was the best. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go back again.

Recommended for girls' gatherings and dates! Delicious chiritari nabe! This restaurant is a bit far from the station, but the prices are reasonable and it's a stylish place perfect for a date! The chiritari nabe contains pork loin, various types of offal, garlic chives, bean sprouts, onions, cabbage, and kimchi for a deliciously spicy and healthy hot pot! The spiciness is mild, so you can keep eating with chopsticks. Since the main dish is the hot pot, we ordered chicken for the other a la carte dishes and were completely satisfied with the generous portions and reasonable prices! The two-color hot pot seems to be the restaurant's specialty. The interior is mostly couples, both men and women.

I have visited this restaurant three times. While other Korean restaurants are crowded with young people, this place has an older clientele, making it very comfortable. The dishes I tried, such as chicken, kimbap, bibimbap, fried chicken, and hot pot, were all delicious with rich flavors. The spiciness is mild, so adding some chili pepper from the table makes it even better! The interior of the restaurant has bright colors and seems popular for dates. It is located in a less crowded area, allowing for a peaceful dining experience. The young staff members are working hard, but there were times when the service of water and drinks was a bit slow, possibly due to lack of coordination.

I went to a popular takoyaki restaurant called "Tako Cha" in Chayamachi, but it was full, so I decided to try a Korean restaurant nearby that seemed nice. I'm not a fan of spicy Korean food, so I opted for the special "Kan-Sai Lunch" for 780 yen, limited to 15 servings. After ordering, the food was prepared carefully and arrived in about 10 minutes. The lunch set included seasonal salad, homemade side dishes (bamboo shoots and green beans), freshly cooked rice, miso soup, and juicy fried chicken breast. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with a crunchy coating. It was quite filling, with three large pieces and one normal-sized piece. The sweet vinegar and onion sauce added a refreshing touch. The only downside was that the side dishes didn't really complement the rice, but overall, it was a well-balanced and affordable lunch. I would definitely go back again.

I feel like I've been eating a lot of Korean food recently. I chose a restaurant near Umeda for a year-end party with friends where we could enjoy Korean food in a calm atmosphere. The stylish interior and jazz BGM matched well, and even though the restaurant was full, the atmosphere was very relaxing. It was a nice change from the standard Korean restaurants with bright neon lights. Since it was a year-end party, I made a reservation for a course with all-you-can-drink and two-color hot pot. I only order course meals when the budget is set. For the hot pot, I ordered a spicy broth (can't remember the name) and black soy sauce, with ingredients like offal and pork. Both were delicious, but I especially liked the black soy sauce. The soy sauce aroma and slight sweetness were a nice touch. We enjoyed the ramen as the finishing touch. Thank you for the meal, I will definitely revisit.

Had lunch at Kan-sai in Chayamachi. I ordered the recommended menu item, Stone Pot Bibimbap (890 yen). When the dish arrived, it was sizzling, and touching the bowl seemed like a sure way to get burned. The Bibimbap came with seaweed soup, two side dishes, and a salad. Even as I mixed the Bibimbap with a spoon, it still made sizzling sounds. There was a bit of crispy rice at the bottom, which was delicious, but I wished there was a bit more. The flavor was rich and satisfying, and I felt quite content after finishing the meal. The menu said "Bibimbap," but it's a bit hard to pronounce, right? The origin of the word is a combination of "bibim" (mix) and "bap" (rice) in Korean. The closest pronunciation to the original Korean is "Bibimbap," but I still tend to say "Bibimba." Well, as long as it's delicious, it's all good.

I visited Kan-sai in Chaya-machi to cool off from the summer heat. The shop has a traditional Japanese appearance, but their specialty is "KOREAN KITCHEN & Nishiki Nabe". I ordered the all-you-can-drink option (1430 yen). I started with the Octopus and Cucumber Salad (probably 600 yen), which paired well with the first beer. The Spicy Grilled Beef Hormone on a hot plate (980 yen) went perfectly with red wine. The spicy seasoning increased my appetite just right. The Samgyetang (with side dishes) (1980 yen) came with half a chicken and 6 side dishes. Samgyetang is made with Korean ginseng, jujube, wolfberry, pine nuts, and garlic, known for its nourishing and summer fatigue-preventing properties. It had a delicate taste with richness and umami, and was delicious on its own. I enjoyed changing the flavor with Gochujang, Yangnyeomjang, and Shichimi. It was a satisfying meal for three people with a decent portion. I paired it with rock shochu.

After leaving Loft, I took a stroll in Chayamachi after a long time. Due to the coronavirus, there are not many people around and the city lacks its usual liveliness. I decided to lift my spirits and headed to Kansai along Shinmido Street. Even though it was past 1 pm, the place was quite lively. I was planning to have Sundubu, but the cold noodles that the woman at the next table was eating caught my eye, so I ordered that instead. For 980 yen, I got cold noodles, Kimbap, chicken, and side dishes. Cold noodles had a light soup which was excellent, Kimbap had a heart-shaped appearance and mild seasoning, and the chicken had various flavors to choose from like Yangnyeom or garlic soy sauce. I chose plain since I was meeting friends later. The portions were generous, but the cold noodles were easy to eat, so I think even women will be fine. Thank you for the meal.

This is a Korean cuisine and hot pot restaurant located about a 2-minute walk from Junkudo. I ordered the seafood sundubu for 960 yen. It was not an authentic Korean sundubu made by Japanese people, and it did not come with kimchi. I chose the normal level of spiciness, but it was quite spicy, maybe because some reviews mentioned it wasn't spicy. The restaurant was quite busy on Sunday. I felt like I wanted to try more authentic Korean dishes. Thank you for the meal.

This is my second time using this restaurant. I made a reservation through Tabelog and went there. I had a delicious and reasonably priced lunch the first time, so this time I decided to try their dinner. I ordered the two-color hot pot, which was very delicious. Especially the white miso was rich in flavor, and even the rice porridge at the end was very satisfying. I will definitely come back again. Thank you very much!

I found a restaurant while walking in Chayamachi. I entered around 1:00 PM on Sunday and was able to get a table without waiting, despite there being quite a few customers. Once inside, I realized it was a set meal restaurant specializing in Korean cuisine (they have two-color hot pot at night) but they also offer Japanese dishes. I wanted to have takikomi gohan (rice cooked with vegetables) so I ordered a set meal that came with it. However, shortly after ordering, I was informed that they had run out of takikomi gohan, so I changed my order to a rabokki set meal. As part of the lunchtime special, a drink was included so I ordered an iced coffee after the meal. The rabokki was a spicy ramen dish with tteokbokki (rice cakes) in it. It also came with two kimbap rolls, one piece of chicken, and a salad. It was quite filling and delicious. The iced coffee was served as a cafe au lait. I enjoyed the meal and would like to visit again.

Located along Shingomido in Chayamachi, this restaurant was mostly visited by solo customers. The staff seemed quite busy and the service was not very friendly. I ordered the Deluxe Sundubu lunch for ¥840 with an additional ¥100 for special rice. When I asked for it to be spicy, it turned out not spicy at all. The dishes were mediocre, and the special rice with only two shimeji mushrooms was disappointing. The interior was clean and they had good infection control measures, but I don't think I will be going back.

Due to the current situation, I am refraining from going out as much as possible, but I had to visit Umeda for some errands and stopped by "Chaya-machi Kanna" restaurant. I ordered the "Deluxe daily lunch set". I was actually hoping for the "Salmon ikura don" but it was not listed on the menu. However, there was a seafood bowl listed, so I went in, but they didn't have that either. (Probably due to the impact of the Wuhan virus, they have changed their lunch menu)
Food & Taste: 3.3
The "Deluxe daily lunch set" comes with 3 side dishes, salad, rice, and miso soup. The main dish of the day was "Seseri karaage - Nagoya style". It was tender and juicy, with a sweet and savory sauce that paired well with the rice. One of the side dishes was "Domestic salmon nanban-zuke", which caught my attention. It was salmon fry cut into pieces and marinated in a sweet vinegar sauce, easy to eat without bones. However, as a salmon lover, I felt it lacked a bit of punch.
Service: 3.1
The staff was polite, but there was no description or announcement about the main dish. Was it written on the blackboard outside?
Atmosphere: 3.3
Located along Shinmido-suji, the restaurant has a cafe-like and orderly design. The lighting comes from above, and the background music was Japanese jazz arrangements of songs like ZARD's "Makenaide" and Shimizu Shogo's "Kanashimi wa Yuki no Youni". There was one customer before me and three after me.
Cost Performance: 3.1
The "Deluxe daily lunch set" costs 880 yen, which is 140 yen more than the regular daily lunch, but it includes the "Domestic salmon nanban-zuke". It's a good upgrade, but the portion size is not as deluxe as the name suggests.
Drink: - Data not available.
The restaurant seemed to meet the conditions of avoiding the "Three Cs" and is suitable for dining out while being cautious of the Wuhan virus.

The pot is divided in half, allowing you to enjoy two different flavors. The soup in the pot is quite rich and flavorful, with a deep taste that goes well with vegetables, making it delicious to eat vegetables. It makes you want to try various soups.

Umeda Lunch I often come around here recently, so I tried the Sundubu lunch for 690 yen. The price is reasonable. It includes Sundubu (tofu, minced fish cake, pork, onion, egg), rice, and a palate cleanser. It's not very spicy, but you can adjust the taste with the spices on the table. The seats are spacious, and they serve lunch until 3 pm, so it's convenient. They also have set meals, and it's not too crowded, so it might be a savior for lunch seekers. Thank you for the meal!

Today, even though I had to work, it was a holiday so I was wondering where to have lunch. I was going out with my boss today. We walked around looking for a place near the office, not sure if any restaurants offered lunch service on a holiday. And then we found it - "Kansai" restaurant. This place is famous for its two-color hot pot for dinner. It was the first place I went for lunch after being transferred to Umeda. They have a variety of lunch options (even just the daily specials have 3 choices). The staff are all kind and polite! Today's daily specials were A: chicken breast cutlet, B: simmered pork thigh, C: vegetable tempura. I ordered A and my boss ordered B. The chicken cutlet was crispy and the special sauce matched perfectly. I tried a piece of the simmered pork thigh. It was well cooked and had a tender, gentle flavor. You can also get a free extra serving of rice. And all of this for only 690 yen (tax included)! What a great deal... Please come and visit this place.

I ordered the Rappokki set. The Rappokki soup wasn't too spicy, but had a delicious level of spiciness. The rice cakes inside were soft and easy to eat. The set came with a salad, 1 piece of chicken, 2 pieces of kimbap, and a drink. The chicken was satisfyingly large for just 1 piece. I visited while hungry, but left very satisfied. The staff was polite and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. I would like to try the chicken set next time.
