リソウのおやじ
During the past 1 year and 10 months, many restaurants have struggled due to the restrictions imposed on operating hours and alcohol service caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I recently came across a bustling restaurant for the first time in a long time. Located near Shin-Osaka Station and Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station, "Itamae Yakiniku Isshou Nishinakajima Store" had a lively atmosphere with almost all seats occupied. As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the lively chatter and smiles exchanged over grilling meat. The counter seats were guided to me, and on the other side of the counter, the head chef, with a brilliant smile, welcomed me. The staff efficiently explained the recommended cuts of meat, such as the premium misuji and lamb loin. I ordered those along with premium tongue, premium harami, hormone, and premium maruchan, as well as grilled vegetables. Since "Isshou" buys a whole Japanese black beef, they offer a variety of rare cuts that can only be obtained in small quantities from one cow. I started by enjoying a non-alcoholic beer while grilling vegetables and tongue. The tongue, cut thick as a special feature of "Isshou," was luxurious to savor with a squeeze of lemon. The lamb loin, with a moderate amount of marbling, allowed me to enjoy the sweetness of the fat and the rich umami of the lean meat. The lamb loin and misuji were topped with wasabi for a light and refreshing taste. As for the harami, it was best enjoyed with white rice, kimchi, and shiitake mushrooms, creating a delicious harami bowl. Lastly, I ended the meal with a refreshing trio of gelato. Everything was delicious. After settling the bill and stepping outside, the staff and head chef came out to bid me farewell with a smile and a "thank you." It was a satisfying and affordable experience, ensuring that I will definitely be a repeat customer.
