In Chushu, there was a social gathering at another place, and on the way back, we passed by Rikarika and luckily found it empty!! The four of us were drawn into the restaurant and had a great time. Even though we had already been drinking quite a bit at the first place, we ended up finishing 3 bottles of sparkling wine at Rikarika and everyone was in a good mood. We drank too much!! (including me haha) Looking back at the photos, we realized we didn't take pictures of the appetizer platter, pasta, or the bottles we finished... By the way, the garlic toast we always order is highly recommended. It's not just onions, but also squid liver mixed in, making it delicious. This alone is a satisfying snack. Rikarika is a place where you can enjoy good food at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

In the past, the lunch options were luxurious lunch (fish or meat), reward lunch (fish or meat), pasta lunch. Now it's steak lunch, reward lunch - steak & mini pasta, pasta lunch. It seems like the impact of rising prices has caused quite a change in both the content and price of the menu. I used to always order the reward lunch or lunch course, but this time I chose the reward lunch with sparkling wine. They poured the sparkling wine right up to the brim, which was a good deal. It really lifted my spirits. The appetizer and salad plate seemed to have less volume compared to before, which was a bit disappointing. But each dish was delicious. The country-style pate was especially tasty, making me want to get more baguette. The mini pasta this time was with tuna and bean sprouts, and although the noodles were thick, they change daily. The steak frites had 3 slices of steak and the sauce was a bit strong, but the steak itself was very tender and delicious. The dessert used to have about 3 options to choose from and I always looked forward to it. It was tasty, but now it's just ice cream for palate cleansing. The restaurant was still full as usual. Previously, reservations were made over the phone, but now they have a system where you scan a QR code at the restaurant, become friends on LINE, get a 1,000 yen coupon, earn points, and can make reservations.

I visited for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend. The lunch course was 2,500 yen and every dish, starting from the appetizer, was delicious. The bread rolls were free for seconds. The male waiter was also very attentive, making it a pleasant time and space.

I visited this restaurant after a long time. This time, I ordered a la carte instead of a course menu. By the way, if you choose the course menu, you can add all-you-can-drink option. The all-you-can-drink option is only available with the course menu. They prepare bouillabaisse by hand-picking clams and shrimp. You can choose to finish with either pasta or risotto for an additional cost. I chose risotto this time since I prefer it over pasta. If you like cheese, I recommend the risotto. It was really delicious with plenty of seafood flavor. Personally, I think this dish is the winner. However, the beef stew was also delicious with tender meat, and the other a la carte dishes were also tasty. The restroom is clean and relatively spacious. They provide cotton swabs and toothpicks. However, there is only one restroom in the restaurant and it is unisex.

It's been a while since my last visit. This time, I tried the early summer course at Rikarika, which included a 90-minute all-you-can-drink option for premium wine for an additional 1000 yen. The sparkling wine was not great, but the Australian white wine was light and delicious, so I ended up having three glasses of it. The Bulgarian white wine had a typical white wine taste, the red wine from France was smooth and easy to drink, and the Italian wine had a distinctive Italian flavor. The appetizer platter with seven different dishes was all delicious. The bouillabaisse had clams, shrimp, small scallops, and mussels, which I eagerly grabbed. The bouillabaisse was delicious. The pasta made with the bouillabaisse soup, using linguine noodles, was also tasty. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well, but the cost performance was good and the food was delicious. It's been a while since I visited Ricarica. This time, three of us went together. We always order the assorted appetizers as a starter when we come to Ricarica. By the way, one of the broccoli fritters looked like a snail (laughs) but of course, it wasn't a snail! We ordered wine in decanters, then switched to bottles after ordering another decanter. I think we finished two bottles between the three of us. I didn't take photos as usual, but Ricarica is still a great value with good service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back. It's been a while since I visited Ricarica. We started with some sparkling wine, then moved on to wine. At first, we ordered by the glass, but this fruity Conti Darco wasn't enough, so we ended up ordering a bottle from the wine list. Initially, there were three of us, but two more joined later, and we couldn't take any more photos of the food or wine. The staff were friendly and the dishes overall paired well with the wine. We had a great time. Personally, I prefer Ricarica in Nishijin over the one in Rokumonmatsu. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I used it for lunch. I arrived early after opening, but it quickly became full with reservations and walk-in customers. It's a popular place. There were also elderly people from the neighborhood. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and you can relax even at the counter. There are 3 types of lunch sets. I chose the one with wine, which is envy-inducing and reasonably priced. The appetizer was generous and reminiscent of dinner. The pasta portion was also good. The dessert was perfect as well, making it a great value lunch. I went for a walk in Nishijin after a long time and felt like having Western food, so I visited the trendy bistro, Rikarika, which I had been curious about for a long time. I didn't have a reservation, but I was seated at the counter just as the customers were changing. Beer, wine... I was the designated driver, haha. The freshly grated cheese was delicious. The salad, the meat... everything was so delicious. I ate too much because it was all so tasty. I definitely have to go back for drinks next time. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will visit again.

This casual French restaurant offers affordable lunch options, but each dish from the appetizers to the desserts is carefully made and delicious, making it a popular spot. The food is cost-effective, and the slim, elegant female servers add to the charm of the place. I had always walked past this place, but after learning it is related to Danji in Hakata, I understand why. It's great to be able to enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price in a lively atmosphere. The only downside is that when you order a glass of champagne, they fill it to the brim, making your hands sticky.

This restaurant is located a little further down the alley that leads south from Nishi Shin Shopping Street. Since there was no sign with the name of the restaurant on the roof, I hesitated a bit before entering, wondering if this was the right place. There is no parking lot. There are a few table seats inside the casually stylish interior. I had heard that this place was delicious, so I had been wanting to try it someday, and finally, they started serving lunch. There are three lunch options: choose between fresh pasta, meat, or fish, or a luxurious lunch set with half pasta and meat or fish. I had a hard time deciding, but since I love fresh pasta, I chose that. Soup and bread were served first. The soup had a gentle flavor and was delicious. I don't remember the details of the appetizers that were explained to me, but they were all tasty. I chose the miso-sesame-ginger dressing, which was quite good. The main dish was the fresh pasta, this time with broccoli and minced pork in oil sauce. The minced pork was not the usual ground meat you find in stores, but had a chunkier texture, which added a nice chewiness. The oil sauce was light and tasty. Dessert was included, and all of this for 1280 yen was a great deal. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to treat myself to a nice lunch, so I visited the restaurant alone. I was seated at the counter and ordered the daily pasta lunch. The appetizer platter I had seen in reviews got me excited right away. The pasta was delicious, and it came with dessert and a drink at a great price. You can refill your drink for just 150 yen. I'd love to try the lunch champagne someday! They have a wide selection of wines, including by the glass, decanter, and even mini glasses for tasting different varieties. I can't wait to come back for dinner next time! ❤️

I chose the 1280 yen pasta lunch where you can choose the menu on the day. - Chilled corn soup and bread: The cold texture of the soup was refreshing on a hot day. - Salad plate with 5 appetizers and prosciutto, with a choice of dressing: The variety of appetizers was impressive for a 1280 yen set. I chose the miso-sesame-ginger dressing, which had a great flavor combination. The prosciutto had just the right amount of saltiness. - Mussels and potato salad, Country-style pate, Pork rillette: The pate with foie gras and the pork rillette were delicious, especially with the bread. They make you want to have wine. - The pasta of the day was "Sweet chili pepper and squid ink oil sauce" with fettuccine. I visited this restaurant for lunch. I usually come here for dinner, but this was my first time having lunch. I treated myself to a special lunch set. It included an appetizer platter, carpaccio, half portion of fresh pasta, sorbet palate cleanser, meat dish, and two types of desserts. The appetizer had 5-6 different dishes, and they were so good that they made me want to drink alcohol. The carpaccio was made with fresh fish and the sauce was delicious. By the time I got to the meat dish, I was already stuffed (laughs). The fish of the day was abalone (I only had a little, but it was really delicious!). It was a lunch filled with happiness and fullness. I was so full that I thought maybe I should have gone for a lighter lunch with alcohol. The staff were just as friendly as they are at night. It's a 4-5 minute walk from Nishishin Station. It's located along Omotecho 21 Street, a little further towards Fujisaki from the shopping street. There are other shops like Rojiura Bakery and Cheesecake KAKA on the same street. I went there for lunch. The restaurant only has table seating, and even though I went alone, I was seated at a table for four. I'm sorry (^-^; Pasta lunch for 1200 yen includes soup and bread, a salad plate with 6 kinds of appetizers, today's fresh pasta, 2 kinds of dessert, and coffee (or a soft drink). The Power Lunch for 1500 yen includes soup and bread, a power salad plate with 6 kinds of appetizers, a choice of meat or fish dish, 2 kinds of dessert, and coffee (or a soft drink). There is also a course lunch for 2000 yen. I ordered the pasta lunch. The soup was corn soup, and the appetizers included prosciutto, roast beef, and caponata. It's nice that you can choose from three types of dressing for the salad. I was disappointed that there was no pasta with tomato sauce. I chose the pasta with shiitake mushrooms and karasumi, but it wasn't to my liking. Considering that dessert and a drink are included, I think this is a good price. Thank you for the meal.

On a scorching hot day with not a cloud in the sky, the writer and his wife found themselves at a restaurant in a quiet shopping street due to the Bon holiday and the ongoing pandemic. They ordered the Power Lunch and the Ricarica Lunch, along with some bottled beer for a bit of alcohol disinfection. The cold soup, bread, and Power Salad Plate with salmon were all delicious, especially with the miso-sesame-ginger dressing. The duck confit main dish was also well-prepared, with a good balance of flavors and textures. The staff provided excellent service, making it a great dining experience with high value for money. They plan to visit again for both lunch and dinner in the future.

I went to this bistro which had a name that evoked the Showa era and a down-to-earth atmosphere. I couldn't eat much as it was my second stop, but it was interesting that you had to "grab" the steamed clams yourself! I would like to go back and enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace next time.

During my time in Fukuoka, I lived in a town called "Nishijin", which was filled with students and people who moved frequently due to work. As a result, there were many restaurants in the area. Among them, this particular restaurant was always bustling, and making a reservation by phone was a must. I found it a bit troublesome and didn't have many opportunities to dine there, but finally managed to secure a seat before leaving for Tokyo. The main dishes mainly consisted of roasted beef, duck, lamb, pork, and chicken, with a lack of typical bistro dishes. While there were familiar appetizers like ratatouille and pate, there were also Italian and Spanish-inspired options such as marinated eggplant with balsamic vinegar, oil-soaked sardines, prosciutto, and anchovy potatoes. The red shrimp carpaccio was delicious, both the shrimp itself and the sauce. Overall, considering the price, the taste and portion sizes were quite good. They also offer attractions like "clam grabbing" (the clams grabbed are steamed in wine). It's a fun restaurant in the Waigaya area where you can enjoy affordable drinks. The staff were also very friendly.
