The Western confectionery shop "Sucre" at Kintetsu Fuse Station. My husband brought back souvenirs for me again. The box looks different this time. I wonder if it changes with the season? There are 6 pieces inside. Among them, I had Mont Blanc, Gateau Chocolat, Chocolate Cake, and sweets in a cup. The Mont Blanc is filled with cream. The bottom is like a biscuit. Gateau Chocolat is very rich, like eating chocolate. The fluffy whipped cream decoration is not too sweet and adds a nice touch. The chocolate on top is crunchy like a snack. The chocolate cake has smooth cream. The chocolate sandwich is thick, so you can enjoy the chocolate cream. The crunchy chocolate is the same as Gateau Chocolat. The cup sweets have a Halloween-themed decoration. The surface is Mont Blanc cream, so I thought the inside might be too, but there were several layers of cream. Overall, I really enjoyed the cream this time. I didn't expect much, so I enjoyed it more than last time. I would like to update my previous comment from "sweets for dad's souvenir" to "sweets that would make me very happy if my dad brought them back as a souvenir" for the cakes from Sucre Fuse Station. I realized once again that it takes at least two visits to understand the true value of a shop. (I did not visit the store this time, so I will refrain from rating the food. Below is a review from a visit in September 2013.) ★3 Sucre Fuse Station North Exit Souvenir/Cake. The confectionery shop "Sucre" at Kintetsu Fuse Station. My husband brought back cakes as souvenirs, so I will review them. It seems to be located inside the north exit. The store is mainly located in Higashi-Osaka, and recently they have also opened a shop in Tennoji. The one I had this time was Mille-feuille, Cheesecake, and a fruit-topped pudding. The Mille-feuille is made in a slightly different way. The top and bottom have puff pastry, and the middle is filled with whipped cream and large strawberries. The unusual point is that the bottom puff pastry is not parallel to the table but vertical. Maybe it's a clever idea to make it easier to eat Mille-feuille, which is difficult to cut with a fork. Innovative! But, either way, it was difficult for me to eat due to my lack of skill. Unfortunately, the amount of custard cream seems small for the thick puff pastry. The puff pastry is not crispy, but slightly moist. Maybe it's because I ate it the day after it was bought. The cheesecake has a simple appearance. It has a light taste and a melting texture in the mouth. It's a bit like a soufflé. It's not bad, but I wish it had a bit more punch, as the cheese flavor is weak. The pudding is colorful with fruit on top. There was also a version without fruit, which I shared with my grandmother. The pudding itself is the same, I think. It's a two-layer type, with a milky, semi-liquid cream on top and a creamy pudding that melts in your mouth on the bottom. In summary, Sucre feels like "sweets for dad's souvenir." I don't know the actual price, but I would guess around ¥400.
