Today, I went to Kyobashi by train for the first time in a while. A friend of mine recently started working near Kyobashi, so we decided to have dinner together after work. I was recommended a standing yakiniku restaurant called "Gobu" by an acquaintance, so I made a quick online reservation through Tabelog since it was a Friday and I thought it might be busy. The reservation was a good idea as the restaurant was about 70% full when we arrived at 6:30 pm. We were seated at a table for two in the back, and the staff kindly brought over a place to put our belongings. We started with a drink, a draft beer, and took advantage of a promotion for a free drink by adding the restaurant on LINE. The dinner set at Gobu was amazing value for money at 1078 yen, including negi salted tongue, kalbi, harami, and tetchan (2 slices of each meat), kimchi, soup, and a choice of rice size (large, medium, small). The tongue, made from black pork, was light and delicious when wrapped in green onions and myoga. The kalbi was fatty and flavorful, while the harami had a good balance of lean meat and fat. I was a bit hesitant about the tetchan, but after grilling it, dipping it in sauce, and trying it, I found it surprisingly delicious. The meal was perfect, especially when paired with rice and kimchi. The soup was peppery and flavorful, and we enjoyed a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout, even offering complimentary coffee or tea at the end of the meal. The bill was settled at the table, and the staff kindly brought individual receipts for each of us. The total was rounded down by 8 yen, showing the restaurant's kindness once again. We were even given candies as a parting gift on our way out. The staff were energetic, smiling, and provided excellent service. The cost, taste, and service were all top-notch, making me decide to definitely come back again. I was truly impressed by the experience. As we walked back, we spontaneously started singing, expressing our joy and gratitude for the wonderful meal at Gobu.

The menu includes items like lotus root kimchi, premium wagyu tartare yukhoe, premium wagyu assorted platter, delicious salted cabbage, signature gobumori, green onion salted tongue, gobu harami, gobu salted tongue, wasabi tongue with salt, meat sushi, eringi mushrooms, vanilla and black sesame ice cream monaka, simmered wagyu tendon, raw wagyu red meat, mini katsu udon, gobu cold noodles, and more. When you order the large size, the overall portion is sufficient. However, despite being advertised as "beef tendon", there doesn't seem to be as much meat as the sign outside suggests. The curry has a flavor that highlights the umami from the vegetables and beef tendon rather than spiciness, making it easy to eat.

I ordered the harami set for lunch. It cost 1,100 yen. The harami was thick and delicious, 4 pieces of it, along with 4 pieces of chewy small intestines, kimchi, namul, and soup rice. The portion was satisfying and the taste was great! The sauce was really good. If you can get all this for just a little over 1,000 yen, I am happy. I also ordered the roast yukhoe as an extra, and everything was delicious. Strongest contender in the yakiniku lunch world. I will definitely come back.

In the slightly back of the Kyobashi shopping street, I had a yakiniku lunch. The Harami set meal for 1210 yen includes harami, horumon, kimchi, rice, and soup. The harami was thickly sliced, with 3 pieces and 1 end piece. The taste was decent for the price. The horumon had a lot of fatty parts, which became crispy and delicious when grilled thoroughly. The miso-like marinade was flavorful and delicious when it caramelized. The dipping sauce was on the lighter side, which I prefer over sweet sauces. The kimchi had a lot of white parts of the cabbage, which was refreshing and tasty. The side dish of yellow bean sprouts namul had a strong crunch, making it a satisfying dish. The soup was light and free refills were available. The rice was also free for refills, and I had half more. The traditional gas stove yakiniku was fun but required caution due to oil splatters. The counter table seating had the stove placed vertically, making it awkward to eat around it. Overall, it was a nostalgic yakiniku experience with ups and downs.

On my business trip to Osaka on Thursday, I decided to have lunch at a ramen shop for some food exploration. However, as I walked about 5 minutes from JR Kyobashi Station through an old-fashioned shopping street, I caught a whiff of what seemed like a delicious smell of grilled meat. I initially passed by, but couldn't resist going back when I saw a sign advertising a range of affordable rice bowl dishes. After some deliberation, I chose the "Original Hormone Rice Bowl." The dish was served with a glass of cold water in a beer mug. Soon enough, my rice bowl arrived! The sweet sauce on the hormones paired perfectly with the rice, making it a delicious meal. It was surprising to find that this bowl, which also came with kimchi and hot soup, was priced at less than 1000 yen! On my way out, the staff even saw me off, giving me a complimentary candy. This kind of hospitality is truly unique to Osaka! If I have the chance, I would definitely like to try other rice bowls or grilled meat dishes at this restaurant.

Today, I had lunch at Gobu, a standing yakiniku restaurant in the bustling Shin-Kyobashi shopping street, where you can enjoy delicious meat at a great price. They offer various set menus and you can also order additional meat in increments of 4 slices. The portions are also available in half sizes, making it perfect for solo dining. It's a great place to enjoy a lunchtime drink as well. Gobu Yakiniku, Kyobashi branch in Osaka, Japan.

This yakiniku restaurant is too delicious! The most impressive yakiniku restaurant during my Osaka trip! I was taken here recently and it was so delicious that I voluntarily came back. The staff are considerate, even putting a straw in the woman's drink. The atmosphere of the restaurant is stylish and the staff are polite. It seems more suitable for couples or individuals rather than families. The meat is just so delicious, with thick and chewy salted tongue and tender, melt-in-your-mouth loin. Even the parts I usually don't like, like horumon, taste delicious here. I got hooked on akasen and tecchan. The kimchi and namul are also really tasty. This yakiniku restaurant is flawless. I finished off with cold noodles. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time of working full-time as an office lady, I was feeling tired. But then my friend invited me to have dinner at a place called "Gobu" after work. The restaurant is located north of JR and Keihan Kyobashi Station, at the entrance of a shopping street where you can find a hidden gem called "The Mouth of Truth". As we walked through the bustling Osaka-like shopping street, we arrived at "Gobu Kyobashi Store", which used to be a standing yakiniku restaurant but now had chairs for seating. We ordered the "Gobu Dinner Set" for 1078 yen, which included Kagoshima black pork with leeks and salted tongue, harami, kalbi, tetchan, kimchi, rice (you can choose the size), and soup. The price was surprisingly reasonable for the amount of food we got. The black pork with leeks and salted tongue wrapped in leeks and myoga was a delicious combination. The harami and kalbi were flavorful with just the right amount of fat, and they tasted amazing when paired with rice and sauce. Even though I don't usually eat tetchan, it was tender, juicy, and delicious. The staff were also fantastic, escorting us all the way outside and even giving candy to this Osaka lady. I definitely want to come back to this recommended restaurant. Plus, there are some great deals like getting a free drink for adding them on LINE as a friend and getting a special Gobu set at a discounted price for following them on Instagram.

The Harami was tender and the meat had a rich flavor☺️ The horumon (offal) was also delicious✨ The staff were very friendly, they even came out to see me off and offered me gum or candy✨ It's so nice that they do this for a 1,000 yen lunch. I'll definitely come back for a hearty yakiniku dinner next time✨ Thank you for the meal✨

Recently, I've been really into having lunch at a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant on weekends. I found a reasonably priced yakiniku restaurant in Kyobashi and decided to go with my friends! The place is called "Tachikui Yakiniku Gobusan". It's been a while since I last visited Kyobashi, and it's a great place for a stroll, although you have to walk a bit from the station. The restaurant is located in a shopping street. Despite the name suggesting standing-only, there are seats available, so no worries. We opted for a table in the back. We started with a lunch beer and "Gobu Highball" (with lemon and sudachi) for a toast. Why does alcohol taste so good during the day? We ordered a variety of dishes - the specialty "Gobu Mori" for 680 yen (520 yen with Instagram follow discount) x2, Wagyu Yukhoe for 1100 yen, and Yamaimo Kimchi for 350 yen. The Tongue was also delicious, lightly grilled and topped with onions. This time, we didn't try the cold noodles for the finish, but they also have that option. For dinner, they offer set meals with rice, which I'm sure would satisfy those looking for a hearty meal.

At a place in Kyobashi where you can enjoy solo yakiniku, they offer standing and seating options. It was hot today, so I ordered the "Gobu Dinner Set" which includes kalbi, harami, tetchan, tan-nira condiments, kimchi, soup, and rice (you can choose from large, medium, or small). It's a good deal for a light meal for one person. I turned it into a beef bowl, quickly finished it, and left. I spent about 30 minutes there since I was alone. They gave me candy or gum on my way out.

I walked into this restaurant that caught my eye while walking. It was around 12:25 with about 20% of the tables occupied. I was seated at the counter towards the back and ordered the katsu udon. The food was served in about 6 minutes. The broth was okay, the udon was average, and the meat had a slightly different texture due to it being from a yakiniku restaurant, but the taste was average. The other ingredients were also okay. I should have just ordered the yakiniku set meal. I paid 660 yen with a card and will try somewhere else next time. The candy I received was delicious when I had it at work.

I had the Harami set meal for 1210 yen at Gubude, located a little way into the Begin Kyobashi shopping street. The interior of the restaurant has a counter as well as 5 or 6 table seats, so it has a decent capacity. There were two staff members working that day. The restaurant could get busy if a lot of customers come in at once. There were some people having lunch drinks around, so it was a moderate level of customers at that time. I debated between the salted tongue set meal and the Harami, but ended up choosing the Harami. They also offer rice bowls and have a wide variety of options. The kimchi and other side dishes were served shortly after, followed by the meat. I'm not a fan of chewy hormones, so I was relieved when the small intestines arrived. The staff said something to me, but I couldn't quite catch it. I think they were saying it's good to grill the backside and lightly sear the surface (I only caught the word "lightly sear" but since it's hormone, that's probably what they meant). The Harami had a good amount of marbling, and its tenderness was immediately noticeable when I took a bite. I'm glad to be able to eat this quality of meat for lunch. The fact that they used to operate as a standing restaurant is reflected in the affordable prices they offer for other menu items, making it a place where you can try various cuts of meat. Even though the customer turnout wasn't as expected, it seems like they put in effort, especially when it comes to the meat!

I had a standing meal at a place where you can also sit down. I've been wanting to drink and eat yakiniku for the past few months, and I finally got to do it. The meat was delicious, all of it. Each plate had four slices of meat, and there was also a half portion with two slices. I understand that they can't have a lot of seats because the roasters are placed vertically, but the distance between the roaster and the body is close, so when you cook in front of it, the fat splatters on your clothes. It would be nice if they could provide paper aprons or something to prevent that. If they improve on this point, I would definitely go back. Ah, I ate so much. I satisfied my craving for yakiniku. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you!

The lunchtime beef bowl at this restaurant had caught my eye for a while, but I was hesitant because it was a standing-eating place. However, when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had chairs available. I immediately decided to try it out. I ordered the Gobu beef bowl for 850 yen, with options to add extra rice, more meat, and an additional egg yolk for an extra cost. The meal also came with soup and kimchi. Before long, my order arrived. The Gobu beef bowl looked delicious with its sweet and savory sauce coating a generous portion of meat and a runny egg yolk on top. It was so delicious that I finished it in no time. The kimchi and soup were also tasty. I am already thinking about going back next time to try their grilled meat. Thank you for the meal.

After leaving the fish market, I felt like having some yakiniku, so I headed to a standing yakiniku restaurant in the street with 100 shops. As expected, it was fully booked, so I moved on to my second choice. I crossed the highway and arrived at Gobu Kyoto Bridge, a standing yakiniku restaurant. I had been to a standing yakiniku restaurant before at a building near the station. I took a photo of the exterior and entered the restaurant, standing at the counter near the entrance. I ordered a draft beer and the friendly female server explained the restaurant's system to me as it was my first time there. I ordered the specialty Gobu platter, which included various cuts of meat. I also added a half-size of Gobu harami, kalbi, and loin. The female server recommended the slightly spicy Gobu kalbi. The meat was of good quality and reasonably priced. However, the heat was strong, so I had to be careful not to burn it. The standout of the experience was the excellent service from the female server, who was attentive and helpful. Even after the meal, they gave me a candy and escorted me outside. Such great service makes me want to come back to this restaurant.

※This is a reminder. It is a personal record of when, where, what was eaten and drank. Items ordered: - Kakuhai Highball 385 yen - Specialty gobu Highball 440 yen - Specialty gobu platter 748 yen * One drink was complimentary with a LINE coupon. While walking through the shopping street north of Route 1, I was drawn to the standing yakiniku sign and ended up visiting the shop. The meat was delicious, of course, but what I really liked was the small platter option perfect for solo diners.

Visited this standing yakiniku restaurant for the second stop on our day off. It opened in November last year and is part of the lively Showa-style horumon group. I can't remember what was here before. My companion had been here before, but it was my first visit. We had the napa cabbage kimchi for 250 yen, the specialty assorted meat platter for two for 1360 yen, sausage for 200 yen, lean beef slices for 450 yen, and half portion of beef intestine for 230 yen. I think we each had two drinks. The kimchi was rich and delicious. The assorted meat platter had four different types, one piece for each person. The meat was surprisingly good and tasty. The menu offers other items as well, with four pieces per serving and half portions available, making it a great choice for solo diners. They also gave us gum or Hello Kitty lollipop on our way out. The premium malt draft beer was 400 yen. Overall, even though we didn't have high expectations this time, we'll definitely be back for more next time!

The quality of the meat is good and delicious, and the prices are reasonable. It's a standing yakiniku restaurant so you don't stay for a long time, but you can enjoy delicious meat. They offer regular and half sizes, which is unique to standing dining. I have used this place many times. I haven't tried their lunch menu yet, so I will order it next time!
