This was my third morning buffet during a 3-night stay. The buffet lineup was the same, but this time I tried some things I hadn't before. First, I had a mixed juice, which was very Osaka-like. I also had fruits and salad with a different plate this time, getting a bit more. The beef sukiyaki was my favorite this time, with beef bowl and meat udon. I took my time and enjoyed breakfast. This hotel is not far from the station, has a large bath and sauna, and the breakfast was not bad.

I stayed for two nights, so this is my second time here. There were no major menu changes from yesterday. I tried the cheese omelette (live station) and yuzu daikon (I don't think this was available yesterday) with udon. I didn't have rice or curry this time, and I didn't have bread or cereal either. I had the meat udon, which had decent broth. Although the portion was small, I had a second helping. I also discovered that I'm starting to like beef sukiyaki. I didn't notice yesterday, but breakfast buffet seems to be priced at 3,000 yen (2,700 yen for guests staying overnight).

During my first visit, I didn't have high expectations for the breakfast buffet at the Hotel Monterey Le Frere in Kitashinchi. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. I was debating whether to include breakfast for my multiple-night stay, but I'm glad I did. The morning curry topped with beef sukiyaki was a satisfying and hearty meal to start the day.

Since the situation with COVID has calmed down a bit, I met up with friends after several years and visited a place that served a colorful afternoon tea. We started with appetizers, so it felt a bit like having lunch. It was like a mini reunion, with lots of catching up and laughter. We enjoyed the food and left feeling satisfied!

I visited the restaurant at Hotel Monterey Le Soeur Osaka for their afternoon tea. The restaurant was about half full with mostly women during the afternoon. They offer a selection of teas, including herbal teas. The afternoon tea set was reasonably priced and came with a savory appetizer in addition to the three-tiered snacks and sweets. Each plate on the three-tiered stand had a variety of different snacks and sweets, which was enjoyable. The high ceilings and spacious table layout allowed for a relaxed atmosphere. There were also counter seats by the window, making it suitable for solo diners. I recommend the free refill tea plan for those who enjoy multiple cups of tea.

I stayed at the hotel "Monterey Le Frere Osaka" and booked the Garage Guaranteed Plan with breakfast included. The hotel has a nice feature of a large communal bath. The breakfast venue was on the second floor, with a spacious and pleasant atmosphere. The variety of dishes prepared were a step above typical business hotels, with two types of egg dishes cooked to order and staff who would slice fresh ham upon request. The staff's movements and choice of words were refined and left a good impression.

Dessert Buffet Disappointing? Lunch & Dessert Buffet~♪ I visited because the content of the Lunch & Dessert Buffet had changed. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (2-hour stay) Adults 4,500 yen (excluding tax). I visited on a Sunday with a reservation. There were about 10 groups and 25 people (including children) using the buffet. When I made the reservation, the main dish was beef steak, but it changed to roast pork this time. There were 22 types of desserts, a chocolate fountain, 2 types of ice cream, 3 types of fruits, and mostly commercial cakes, which was disappointing. I was disappointed when I visited before, but this time the quality of the food has decreased, the variety has decreased, and the cost performance has worsened. The service was good, but it seems like they are lacking in attracting customers with their content. I revisited to see if there were any improvements, but I still didn't feel satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka was a hotel under construction when I was transferred to Osaka! With the Tokyo Olympics underway, my wife invited me to the Afternoon Sweets Buffet with a coupon for our first visit to the restaurant Partel at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka. The address is 1-12-8 Sonezaki Shinchi, Kita-ku, Osaka, and the nearest station is Kitashinchi Station on the JR Tozai Line, about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is located on the south side of the third building of Osaka Station, across the road. I visited Umeda's "Makai" (fishing tackle shop) on my own before meeting my wife at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka around 12:30. We entered the hotel and headed to Restaurant Partel on the 2nd floor to wait for the opening time. The staff provided us with a photo shoot time before the opening, and we were required to have our temperature checked and hands sanitized with alcohol before entering! The staff explained the buffet and each corner to us. The buffet style was self-service with masks and nylon gloves for guests to choose their favorite items. The free drink corner allowed guests to customize their non-alcoholic cocktails using a soda water dispenser. The menu included items such as freshly made crème brûlée, fruit, steak, mashed potatoes, various desserts, light meals, and a variety of drinks. We shared the food starting with the light meal corner, which included steak, mashed potatoes, and smoked duck with carrot sauce. The soup of the day was a delicious potato soup, and the sandwiches were thick and tasty. We also enjoyed the freshly made crème brûlée and fruit served by the chef. The petit sweets were perfect for sharing, and the fruits were refreshing. After indulging in the savory dishes, we moved on to the dessert corner, where we enjoyed a variety of sweet treats. Overall, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent, making it a memorable dining experience.

The hotel buffet offers an afternoon tea with delicious sweets. The sirloin steak is grilled and served with mashed potatoes on a warmed plate. The cold appetizers include duck and barley salad. The soup of the day was green pea cream. The creme brulee is prepared on the spot and limited to one per person. The sweets include caramel panna cotta and blancmange. The Western desserts are sweet, while the Japanese sweets are filling. The sandwiches have a homely taste. The ice cream flavors are vanilla and strawberry sherbet. Non-alcoholic beer and cocktails are available, and you can mix your favorite liqueur with ice tea or soda. The coffee is on the bitter side. The pineapple was particularly delicious. The dining time is unlimited, allowing you to eat until you are satisfied. The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is pleasant.

<November '20 First Visit> Memo as a reminder... Please note that the menu may have changed since now ('June '22). Dinner Buffet (5pm to 9pm) Format: Buffet + Choice of Main Dish Main dishes to choose from: 1. Steamed seafood and seasonal vegetables wrapped in fish broth-steamed film 2. Roasted beef marinated in Izumi onions and herb-scented Inca confit 3. Lobster Thermidor with petite vegetables in creme de crustaceans (+1000) 4. Foie gras-filled wagyu beef hamburger steak with chef's special sauce (+1500) A system has been introduced that allows for easy wearing of vinyl gloves. In the midst of the pandemic, things are evolving in various ways. While the variety may not be extensive, it seems like they are doing their best for this period. It's a tough time, but I would be delighted if they continue with the buffet format.

I used it to celebrate my friend's birthday. I had requested a birthday dessert plate in advance, and they prepared it for me. It was cute and very satisfying. The timing of serving it was also good, and my friend was delighted. It was a dinner buffet with a focus on strawberry desserts, and there were many delicious dishes. You can also make your own ochazuke and seafood bowl. The curry was also delicious. There were many types of sweets, and the handmade parfait corner was fun and enjoyable. I think the quality is high. The staff's consideration was amazing, and I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. I will definitely visit again.

This is my second time visiting here! You can choose one main dish and also have all-you-can-drink drinks. I chose the alcohol all-you-can-drink option. They are having a strawberry fair, so there are strawberries everywhere! There are many types of bread, with unlimited servings of Echire and fermented butter!! There were also Japanese ingredients like udon and chirashi sushi, as well as chapchae, so I didn't get bored! I wish I could have drunk more, haha.

Strawberry dessert & buffet~♪ I visited this place for the first time because they had strawberry desserts. I went on a weekday from 6 pm, with a reservation for the dinner buffet at 4,000 yen (including tax and service charge). The drink options were coffee, black tea, and green tea, with a separate fee for a free drink plan. I arrived 30 minutes early, but was seated promptly as it was still early. There were only 2-3 groups of customers at that time. I chose one main dish and the rest from the buffet table. I had the seafood paella and saffron-flavored baked risotto, with the risotto changed to vegetables. I started with the dessert table first. However, the desserts were different from the strawberry desserts in the photos. The variety of dishes was limited, and I found the food to be average. The roast beef was good, but the rest was nothing special. The tempura was freshly fried and tasty, but all the strawberry desserts were disappointing. The cakes were dry, and the strawberries were small and not as expected. The difference between the advertised photos and the actual desserts was disappointing. I was initially seated at the counter, but requested to move to a table, which they accommodated. The service was okay, and the atmosphere was nice, but with the quality of the food, even with a discount at 3,500 yen, the cost performance was poor. I don't plan to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I was able to eat smoked salmon ( ー̀∀ー́ ) but the curry was not good. The waffle was not delicious ( ;∀;) Maybe I should have just had the gyoza and rice (´-∀-`). However, the location was great for going out for drinks♡ The parking lot is first come, first served, but it's right next to the hotel so you won't get lost ( *´艸`) Thank you for your hospitality ♡♡

I stayed at the Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka near Osaka Station because it was last minute and there were not many affordable options nearby. The hotel is new and clean. It is located very close to Kita-Shinchi, so it could be a good place to stay after drinking around that area. The room even had mouthwash provided (lol). However, it is a bit of a walk from Osaka Station, the room is not very spacious, and the breakfast is just average, so I would not choose to stay here again.

Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka's restaurant, Partel, located on the 2nd floor, is a buffet-style restaurant where you can choose one dish from a selection. I chose the seafood sauté pie served with herb butter and American sauce, which was elegantly presented. The pie crust was topped with shrimp, scallops, and fish, creating a harmonious blend of flavors with a hint of sweetness. The restaurant offers a variety of drink courses with different price ranges, including a free-flow option of 30 soft drinks and even a sparkling wine all-you-can-drink course. The drink menu is quite appealing with many options. The Halloween-themed autumn menu featured an abundance of dishes, allowing guests to sample a variety of items without getting too full. The use of autumn ingredients was prominent, and the tempura was crispy and delicious. The chirashi sushi and sashimi were plentiful, and I particularly enjoyed the ikura. The roast beef, pasta, curry, and Halloween-themed desserts were all tasty. The fresh fruit desserts and ice cream were a delightful way to end the meal. The tea served was also delicious. The service at hotel restaurants always stands out, with Partel being no exception. The restaurant is clean, elegant, and suitable for various occasions. I had a wonderful time enjoying the Halloween buffet. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant around 5 pm on Saturday, when it had just opened, so there were not many customers yet. I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal in a very clean and beautiful setting. They offered sparkling wine as part of the all-you-can-drink menu, and you could also enjoy cocktails and wine. The buffet had a limited selection, but everything was delicious. I chose a fish dish for my main. They used Échiré butter for the bread, showing their attention to detail. Overall, it was a delightful buffet experience.

This summer, I visited the restaurant "Partaire" at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka, which opened this summer. I decided to treat my elderly father, who enjoyed the buffet at the previous Nikko Hotel very much. The location is within walking distance from JR Osaka Station in Kita-Shinchi, a high-end club district. The atmosphere was lively, and the menu included a main dish and a buffet with one drink included. I chose a sparkling wine for my drink and the Tajima chicken for my main dish. The food was delicious, especially the chicken and seafood chosen by my father. The service was excellent, and the restaurant had a chic and clean ambiance. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the meal today.

I used the afternoon tea set which included black tea, free throws, light snacks, and desserts. It was not crowded, and the snacks, both sweet and savory, were delicious and elegant. The portion was quite generous. However, when I asked if I could have iced tea because it was a hot day, I was told it would take some time... Also, when I pulled out a chair, there were a lot of food crumbs on it, which made me hesitate to sit down... It's a hotel lounge after all... The taste, portion, and atmosphere were good, and they even took photos for me. It might have been just a one-time thing, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
