I visited this restaurant again because I wanted to eat seafood. I chose a different donburi and tempura set this time. The large size option costs an additional 300 yen, but the amount of toppings and rice was quite generous! If you have a big appetite, the large size might be a good deal. My kids had their usual tuna sushi. There are still many menu items I haven't tried yet, so I would like to visit again. *Payment is cash only (for 7 people, it can be quite expensive)

I had dinner here at night on a holiday at 6pm. I didn't have a reservation but was able to get a seat right away. I ordered using the tablet on the table. I had the Tuna and Salmon Assortment, the Snow Crab Sushi, and the Deluxe Seafood Bowl Tempura Set. For the seafood bowl, you can choose soy sauce or sesame dressing. You can also choose the amount of rice, but the regular portion is enough. There was plenty of seafood on top, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. The tempura included 2 shrimp tempura, pumpkin, bell pepper, and carrot. The batter was crispy! The meal also came with side dishes, chawanmushi, and miso soup. The sushi took a bit longer to be served due to the intricate preparation.

The sushi was delicious with 8 nigiri and 3 rolls, except for the salmon roll which seemed pre-made. I particularly enjoyed the seared sushi. The addition of mochi in the chawanmushi was unique. The miso soup was a nice touch. They were attentive with refilling tea and I appreciated being able to brush soy sauce onto the sushi myself. The atmosphere was average and the value for money was decent at 1800 yen. No comment on the alcohol or drinks.

I lined up before the store opened on a regular day! The food was fresh and delicious! I remember when this place wasn't so popular yet, it was just a normal restaurant. I wonder how it became so popular haha. But it's definitely tasty! It was a fun experience waiting in line with my best friend for lunch. I will definitely come back! ❤️

I thought I would arrive at 11:30, but I got there before 11 and there were already about 20 people lined up. At 11 o'clock, the first 15 people went into the store, waited a bit, and then were seated. I ordered the premium nigiri tempura set and a chawanmushi for my small child using a tablet. The chawanmushi for my child came quickly. The nigiri tempura set took a bit longer! It filled the table for four people. The presentation was impressive, and everyone was like "Wow!" All the nigiri were delicious, especially the conger eel which was so tender and melted in the mouth. The squid had a cut like a pinecone and was also delicious. The tempura was crispy and tasty! I thought about going to eat eel in Karatsu, but this only cost 3800 yen, which is cheaper! Eel costs over 5000 yen!

I went to Tsukamoto Sengyo 2nd store. The main store is located within 500m and had around 40 people waiting, so I decided to visit the 2nd store. I have never been to the main store, so I don't know what the differences are, but the 2nd store is new, clean, and spacious! Plus, there were only about 10 people waiting! Today, I enjoyed a luxurious lunch with fresh and delicious sushi. Every piece was satisfying in freshness and taste. The miso soup was also gentle and tasty.

My parents are coming nearby, so we decided to have dinner together and ended up at Sushizuka Honpo, a fresh fish store. Knowing how busy it gets on weekends, we were happy to be able to easily get a table on a weekday night. The sushi set we ordered satisfied both our eyes and stomachs.

I heard a rumor about Tsukada Fish Store main branch, so I went there, but there was a line even before opening. I was told that I could get the same menu at a new store a little further away, so I went there instead. Everyone was waiting in their cars, but I was able to order without waiting. I was very satisfied with the fresh fish, especially the grilled buri.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. The main branch had a long line, so I came here instead. There were still 4 groups ahead of me, but I was seated quickly. I couldn't decide between a seafood bowl and sushi, so I ended up getting sushi. The salmon roe and tuna were delicious. There was one type of white fish that I didn't recognize, so I wish they had told me when they brought it to me.

As expected, being close to the sea in Itoshima, there were many people dining, which surprised me. Seafood dishes are definitely the specialty in this area. Among them, the restaurant that stood out in terms of cost performance was Tsukahara Sengyo, located in Tsukahara. I ordered the tuna marinated rice bowl set and the special seafood rice bowl set. I was extremely satisfied. The food here was special, both in taste and portion size. I truly enjoyed delicious dishes. Thank you very much.

Tsukamoto seafood store's sister store. Visited on Tuesday at 1:00 PM (weekday). There was a wait of 3 groups, but we were able to enter smoothly after about 5 minutes. The menu offers a wide variety of options such as seafood bowls, sushi, and set meals, making it difficult to choose. Opted for the Ultimate Seafood Bowl. There was more flying fish roe than expected, which was slightly disappointing.

The special nigiri set with chawanmushi and miso soup was priced at 2,000 yen. It was average. While the ingredients seemed fresh, the sushi itself was ordinary. The seared sushi had a slight fishy smell, and the tamagoyaki was quite salty. It was different from the strong umami flavor typically associated with sushi restaurants. It may be a matter of personal preference.

I visited the popular Tsukamoto Sengyo-ten (sushi) for the first time. Even though it was before 11 am, there were already 20 people waiting... Since this place is so popular, I wasn't worried about the taste, but it was indeed delicious. Of course, the ingredients were fresh and the texture was enjoyable. Each piece of sushi was not thin, but had thickness and flavor. I'm satisfied and I would like to come back on a weekday night next time. Also, there was some soy sauce stains on the wall, but if they are gone when I visit next time, it would be even better.

I decided to treat myself to a slightly luxurious nap today. I remembered that a new shop had opened in the place where Joyful used to be, so I decided to check it out. The shop I visited was "Nigiri Tsukamoto Sengyo-ten". It's the same Tsukamoto Sengyo-ten that always has long lines, right? When I entered the shop and sat down, I placed my order using a tablet. I looked at the menu and ordered the "Ultimate Black Tuna and Fresh Salmon Comparison". The salmon was also seared, and the black tuna included fatty chu-toro. It came with tempura, miso soup, and chawanmushi, all for 2,100 yen, which I think is quite a good deal! I would recommend it to those who love tuna and salmon.

There is a spacious parking lot. The interior of the restaurant is also spacious, with table seating and tatami seating. It is child-friendly. When I went to Tsukamoto Fish Store, there was a 30-minute wait, but the staff recommended going to the second branch (Nigiri Tsukamoto Fish Store) where there was no wait and almost the same menu. I ordered the Ultimate Seafood Bowl + Chawanmushi Set for 2100 yen. My companion ordered the Premium Seafood Bowl + Simmered Dish Set for 2900 yen. The Ultimate Seafood Bowl I ordered had a slightly increased amount of shrimp and blue fish compared to the Premium Seafood Bowl. The sashimi was fresh and the rice was delicious. However, the simmered fish in my companion's dish was not of good quality and had a slight fishy taste. The seasoning was good though. I felt that the portion of the seafood bowl was a bit small. It would have been better to get a larger portion. The cost performance may be a bit questionable.

I wanted to eat seafood bowl, so I asked a local person who recommended me this restaurant. As expected, there was a line in front of the store. When I entered the store, it had a clean atmosphere. I ordered a large seafood bowl and tempura set, which was brought to the table, and I was surprised by the amount! The seafood was fresh and delicious, but I ended up feeling uncomfortably full and bloated.

The second branch of the popular shop Tsukamoto Sengyo-ten has a spacious interior with tatami and table seating, and a clean entrance with a ramp. The parking lot is also spacious. The menu for nigiri sushi is extensive and all options looked delicious. I was torn but ended up choosing the ultimate seafood bowl. It looked luxurious with a wide variety of toppings and tasted delicious.

This is my third time visiting, but when it comes to seafood, this place is the best. I visited a little after lunchtime and there was hardly any wait. We tried various seafood bowls and personally, this place is by far the best. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. I want to keep coming back to this place.

When it comes to Fukuoka, seafood is also delicious!! After returning from Itoshima, we looked for dinner and found this place. Tsukamoto Sengyo-ten has a main store and a second store, and this is the second store. Since the main store was extremely crowded, we visited here, which was also very clean and spacious. Now, we ordered the "Tuna head stew set" (¥2,500). As you can see from the photos, it is very voluminous. The set includes tuna sashimi, salt-grilled tuna, and tuna head stew, along with chawanmushi and miso soup rice, a luxurious combo. With this amount, the price is definitely worth it. As for the taste, first the sashimi. It includes chu-toro, akami, and even o-toro? all in one piece, with good freshness. The salt-grilled tuna is juicy like a steak and packed with meat. Lastly, the tuna head stew is a must-try here! The fresh ingredients are thoroughly marinated in a special soy sauce-based sauce. The tuna soaked in the sauce is soft, melting in the mouth, leaving only the umami flavor behind, honestly it's so delicious. The concept of tuna head stew reaches a whole new level here. I never expected the tuna head stew set I randomly ordered to be this good. The seafood bowl is more famous and also looks delicious, but I will probably order the tuna head stew again next time. Unfortunately, it seemed like bad timing as I entered and had to wait standing for a while without being seated. After a while, I was finally noticed and shown to a table that didn't feel very relaxing. The touch-panel menu was also confusing and inconvenient for a first-timer like me. The taste and contents of the dishes I ordered were satisfactory, but I felt like maybe one visit was enough.
