Fukuoka City Sawara Ward Nishishin 5-1-18 Area - 5 minutes walk from Nishishin Station on the subway! Located along the Nishishin Nishi Shotengai Street. This is a shop that relocated from "Kaisenya Kaisenmaru/Nishishin 5-chome" and reopened as a new shop on February 7, 2023, where you can enjoy authentic sushi at a reasonable price! The shop is operated by "Nishishin Hatsuki," a meat study shop. The exterior is on the 1st floor of the Kaisenmaru Building! The modern building adorned with traditional lattice work lights up beautifully at night! Upon entering the shop, the nostalgic design of origami, temari, and staff costumes from the Taisho Romance era shines brightly. When seated at a table, you will receive an explanation of the "Full Order System Conveyor Belt Sushi" from the staff using a touch panel! This system is the best to prevent various problems that have occurred with traditional conveyor belt sushi in the past! Once you place your order, there are upper and lower serving lanes next to the table, and when the sushi is about to arrive, an announcement is made saying "Your sushi is coming," and the doors of the lane open automatically. As for the crucial sushi... it was all delicious and authentic! First, the "Kue" was outstanding with three different preparations - raw, pickled, and seared. Next, the "Three Types of Tuna" were beautifully presented, and all three - Otoro, Chutoro, and Akami - had delicate flavors and were delicious! The sushi rice was blended with red vinegar, giving it a slightly sweet taste that complemented the top-quality ingredients perfectly. The "Horse Mackerel," "Raw Octopus," "Negitoro Tekka," "Ankimo," "Flounder," "Hime Abalone," "Snow Crab," "Seafood Rolled Sushi," and "Battera" were all superbly delicious! Especially the "Snow Crab" was amazing - once you taste something this delicious, you won't be able to go back to your usual sushi (laughs). The meal ended with "Wakame Miso Soup," which was enjoyable until the very end. A sushi restaurant where you can casually and comfortably enjoy sushi! It was a place I would like to visit occasionally - thank you for the meal. Enjoy Sushi Life☆

Sushi does not flow. When you order, sushi comes flowing to each room's lane. Lager beer 660 yen, assorted raw tuna 1,045 yen, grilled squid 462 yen, mackerel 462 yen, flounder with kelp 429 yen, fatty tuna roll 605 yen, total 3,663 yen. The mackerel was really delicious. There are many delicious-looking menu items, but the prices are high so I hesitate. The taste is good but the value for money might not be the best. The atmosphere is excellent.

It was my first visit to the restaurant. I was a bit late, so the red clam I was aiming for was sold out, which was disappointing, but the tuna comparison, dried squid, abalone, shrimp, and fresh oysters that I ordered were all delicious. It has become one of my favorite restaurants.

The sushi was fresh and delicious. It was beautifully presented with decorative flowers, adding to its visual appeal. The seared nodoguro, isaki, and maguro were all incredibly tasty. The salmon ikura gunkan was especially delicious and outstanding. I am truly delighted that we can enjoy such delicious sushi in the nearby shopping street.

It was not a rotating sushi restaurant, but a conveyor belt sushi place. We could relax in a semi-private room and the hospitality was good. We could choose from 3 types of tea for our drink. The sushi rice had a blend of red vinegar and rice vinegar, but lacked a sharp edge and was always a bit blurry. The fish was delicious, but be careful as the sea urchin had a strong chemical smell. The eel at the end was tasty but disappointingly cold. For this price, they could do better. I would rather go to a high-end restaurant for lunch with similar prices.

The inside of the shop is very cute. Ordering with a touch screen is novel and fun. The sushi is of high quality and excellent. Each plate costs around 600 to 800 yen. The fatty tuna and sea urchin are over 1000 yen. I had salmon, but forgot to take a picture!

I have been going to Fukuoka for over 5 years now, and whenever I crave something more than motsunabe or sukiyaki, it's always seafood! On this day, I visited this new restaurant in Nishijin called Ryusushi Kaisenmaru. From the outside, it looks luxurious. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and elegant, different from your typical conveyor belt sushi place. They have table seating as well as semi-private booth seating. They even have three types of tea available on the table, which is a nice touch. The quality of the sushi here is top-notch, with a slightly higher price but definitely worth it. The chutoro, hamachi, and other sushi items were delicious, and the miso soup with clams had an abundance of clams in it! This place is perfect for a slightly fancy lunch, a date night, or even a family outing. It's the kind of restaurant you wish you had in your neighborhood.

I was curious about this place before the relocation and finally visited it. This is a group store of Benkyo-ya Co., Ltd. (Niku no Benkyo-ya) where they have removed the conveyor belt for sushi and instead use a system where the sushi is delivered on a special rail on semi-private tables. You can order using a touch panel, and the average price per piece is around 300 yen, which is more expensive than regular conveyor belt sushi. On the table, they provide truffle salt, ponzu sauce, Kanto soy sauce, Kyushu soy sauce, pickled ginger, Hokkaido black bean tea, Kagoshima red fuuki green tea, and domestic corn tea, giving a simple yet slightly luxurious impression. After checking the menu, I couldn't find any special local ingredients that caught my attention, so I decided to order randomly. I tried the bluefin tuna, sardine from Nagasaki, red snapper from Kumamoto, flounder, salmon, seafood roll (with generous ingredients), and kitsune-san (nigiri sushi with a light broth). Depending on the type of sushi, some pieces may have small portions of rice or fish, making it a bit unsatisfying. The one that left an impression on me was kitsune-san. It had a nice name and content, making it a potential specialty of the restaurant.

The private room for two people costs 13,000 yen, which is a bit pricey but worth it for the quality. The fatty sashimi melts in your mouth. The sake was on the strong side, not my favorite type. The salmon, squid, mackerel, shrimp, everything was delicious!

After watching the World Baseball Classic, changing clothes, and braving the rain, I finally got to visit this place I've been wanting to try. I had to wait about 15 minutes, but I was seated right away. I was surprised by how cheap it was, even though I wasn't sure about the prices at first. There were dishes that were even cheaper and tastier than my usual favorites. The yellowtail, horse mackerel, and seafood rolls were all delicious, and the miso soup was amazing. Everything was so tasty! The service was also excellent. I might become a regular here.

Opened just a month ago, "Hakata Nagare Sushi Kaisenmaru," managed by Prime Fukuoka, a long-established butcher shop founded in 1934, is located in Nishijin. The restaurant features intricate lattice work on the exterior walls and a luxurious interior with decorative handballs lining the walls. Upon entering, guests can use a touchscreen panel for self-ordering. Sushi orders are delivered to the table through a concealed lane, rather than a traditional conveyor belt. The menu offers a variety of sushi options, ranging from reasonably priced items like red sea bream (2 pieces for 300 yen) to more premium choices like live sweet shrimp (1 piece for 1,760 yen). The quality and freshness of the sushi justify the slightly higher prices, with offerings like a trio of locally sourced tuna sashimi, which includes lean, fatty, and medium fatty tuna. Other highlights include sashimi from Tsushima Island, such as horse mackerel and fresh squid, showcasing their fine texture and flavors. The restaurant also serves dishes like crab sushi and tender simmered conger eel, both of which are expertly crafted and delicious. While the closure of their previous establishment, "Kaisenya Kaisenmaru," is regrettable, the new restaurant offers a refined atmosphere and will soon introduce private rooms on the second floor for a wider dining experience.

I have a favorite conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Fukuoka Prefecture, located in a certain place in Iizuka City. However, this new restaurant has also become a favorite of mine. In terms of cost performance, the other place wins, but when considering the cost of transportation and gasoline, I might stick with this new place. The restaurant recently relocated, so that might be a factor. Even when I stopped by around 7 pm after work, it was fully booked without a reservation. I made a reservation and was called back after about an hour to revisit. Even though it might be cramped for two people, dining alone in the almost private booth with a comfortable aisle and curtain divider was nice. As a first-time visitor, I received explanations on how to order and receive dishes. The exterior and interior of the restaurant had a luxurious feel. The staff were all polite and kind, constantly clearing empty plates, which made it a bit hard to relax in the private booth. The sushi, as you can see in the photos, was all delicious. The sea urchin was smaller than expected, but my favorites were the Matsumae sushi and the brain nigiri. The creme brulee dessert I ordered was exceptional, to the point that I would come back just for that. As someone with limited income, I can't come here often, but I would like to visit about once every three months.

I visited a recently opened sushi restaurant to celebrate my promotion. It's a unique type of sushi restaurant with private rooms where you sit at a counter and order using a touch panel. The sushi is delivered to a shelf in front of you. It was quite interesting. I indulged in my favorite dishes as it was a celebration. I ate a lot and drank a lot. It's slightly more expensive than regular conveyor belt sushi places, but I was very satisfied. I would definitely come back here. It would be even better if they had more variety of sashimi and appetizers. Thank you for the meal.

I finally found a great restaurant after a long time. It may be a bit pricier than regular conveyor belt sushi, but the level of interior, ingredients, and service justifies the price. No complaints. Delicious food and a relaxing environment are the best. They also have a great variety of tea. I consider myself a picky and critical person, but this time I have nothing to complain about. I will definitely go back to eat again.

I went there for the first time. The stylish interior and the sushi coming on the conveyor belt are fun. The taste is delicious, but the prices are also reasonable. I would like to use it when I want to reward myself or indulge. It would be nice if there were set menus in addition to individual items in the restaurant. I would also be happy if there were lunch menus. The three types of tea are very delicious and go well with sushi.
