With two friends, we were wandering around wondering where to go for our third stop, when we saw the words "50% off sashimi from 8pm!" We hadn't had any fish that day, so we decided to check it out. As we entered, we went down the stairs to find a cozy atmosphere. Looking at the menu, we noticed fish we had never tried before like "Kawahagi" and "Bowbow". We ordered Hamachi for 600 yen, Maguro for 750 yen, Kawahagi for 780 yen, and Grilled Sea Bream for 1200 yen. Everything was half off, which was amazing! We toasted for the third time. Soon, a large plate of sashimi arrived. Each piece was fresh and delicious, with a firm texture. Kawahagi was new to us, with a light and mild flavor. Grilled Sea Bream is a special dish usually enjoyed only during New Year's. The salt seasoning brought out the juicy texture of the fish. The bill came out to around 1300 yen per person, including one drink each. We will definitely visit again after 8pm. Thank you for the meal.

I visited on a Sunday night. I made a reservation for the sea bream shabu-shabu course by phone, but also ordered additional sashimi platter, freshly made tofu, and ankake yakisoba. The sea bream shabu-shabu was a light and gentle hot pot dish made by adding fried fish bones to the broth after removing the kelp, and lightly cooking the sea bream in sea bream broth. The sea bream hot pot was light and gentle in flavor. The udon noodles at the end were also delicious. The freshly made soft tofu was quite good too. We were in a private room, but there were some gaps in the walls, making it a bit noisy. It might have been more relaxing to eat in a more soundproof private room. Nevertheless, I was comforted by the gentle hot pot. Thank you for the meal!

Osaka's Nakano-ya is a seafood izakaya located in Kyobashi. It is conveniently located near Keihan Kyobashi Station, and the restaurant is a hidden underground izakaya with all private rooms, giving it a secretive underground organization vibe. Today, members of the secret organization gathered underground for a course meal. The meal started with assorted appetizers and sashimi platter. They were so engrossed in their secret discussions that they neglected to pay attention to the flavors of the dishes. The simmered vegetables and lotus root manju were excellently prepared, with a perfect balance of not being too sweet. The lotus root manju seemed to be deep-fried once, giving it a potato fry-like aroma that complemented the flavor of the broth. The hot and shiny grilled yellowtail made its appearance. Despite being distracted by their secret talks, they managed to appreciate the well-cooked thick slices, which were tender and free of any fishy smell. The meal ended with nigiri sushi and mori soba. By this point, they were quite drunk. They probably enjoyed the food. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Nakano-ya, a traditional Japanese restaurant located in a building near the Keihan train station. The restaurant is located on the basement floor, and the entrance is deeper than expected. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is excellent, with many private-style seating areas. Despite having a large number of seats, the lunch menu is very extensive. I chose the oyakodon, which was delicious with its runny egg, tender chicken, and flavorful rice. The food was served very quickly, which was a nice surprise.

Around 2 pm, while on my way from home to my daughter's place, I got off at Kyobashi Station and planned to grab some lunch. I stumbled upon a Japanesque restaurant called "Nakanoya" with a cozy atmosphere. Upon entering, I went down quite a few stairs to a dimly lit interior with indirect lighting. The menu mainly consisted of set meals (with udon or soba) priced around 800 yen. I ordered the katsudon set with soba, while my wife ordered the inari set with soba. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The katsudon had plenty of fluffy egg and the soba had a generous amount of broth. The inari came with three pieces. The katsudon had a slightly sweet broth, but the fluffy egg made it enjoyable. The pork cutlet was a bit soft, but that's to be expected. The soba didn't have a distinctive scent, but the flavorful broth made up for it. After finishing our meal, we were pleasantly full. If this restaurant was nearby, I would definitely consider coming back at night. Thank you for the meal.

Visited after 8pm on a weekday in February 2020 and got half-priced sashimi. Probably not doing this during shortened business hours. Cold tofu with natural salt for 350 yen. Topped with green onions, rock salt, wasabi, and ginger. Pork cold shabu salad for 680 yen. Served with original sesame dressing. It's pretty good. Five kinds of sashimi for 1450 yen, but got it for half price at 725 yen. Good deal. Soft and moist Japanese flying squid, thick tuna, striped jack, and red sea bream with good fat content. Easy to eat. Red sea bream is slightly chewy, but good. Japanese flying squid, striped jack, red sea bream, Japanese butterfish, tuna.

I was brought by a friend to a girls' night out at this restaurant. The interior had a luxurious feel and a very calming atmosphere. They brought the fish in a basket to our table and explained the dishes in detail. The fresh sashimi was incredibly delicious! The other dishes were also very satisfying in taste. It felt like all the seats were private rooms, so we could relax and enjoy our time. I will definitely visit again.

At Kawauchiya~ After leaving "Satsuma Gokamon" at around 7:30, we were still wandering around, with me leading the way. I was in a state where I needed someone to guide me, but I took the lead. After all, I'm the "drinking buddy." I had already planned the second venue, but Kawauchiya was heading in a completely different direction. When I mentioned "Nakanokoya" as the restaurant, one of the participants asked, "Have you decided on a place?" and when I confirmed, they said, "We're going the wrong way!" and I was relieved of my leading role. I suddenly thought, "I can't handle fried food on an empty stomach," so despite having ordered quite a bit at the previous restaurant, Kawauchiya mainly ordered fried foods. I remember Kawauchiya only ordering chicken skin with ponzu at the previous place... Shrimp, octopus, burdock sticks, and more. The shrimp disappeared quickly, so I wonder if it was really delicious or if Kawauchiya just really likes shrimp. The burdock sticks were definitely a good side dish. The fried octopus didn't make it into Kawauchiya's mouth, but instead went into the stomach of one of the girls. Even so, Kawauchiya was still drinking Imo Highball on the rocks. The service at the restaurant left a good impression. The restaurant is spacious! After 8 PM, fish dishes become more affordable. Maybe we should have chosen this place from the beginning. They have a wide variety of fish dishes. When I came back from the restroom, I received a embarrassing video of Kawauchiya doing an "air bike" while saying "Bike!" It's embarrassing! About two hours passed in the blink of an eye, or should I say in the haze of alcohol. I had sworn in my heart that I wouldn't drink like this, but...

On a holiday morning, I had errands in Kyobashi. After noon, I decided to have lunch in the area and visited this restaurant. I went down the stairs to the basement of the Kyobashi Building where the Mitsui Sumitomo Bank is located. The restaurant had only private rooms, and I could hear families with children chatting from different rooms. Private rooms are particularly convenient for families with small children for Sunday lunch. The interior of the restaurant was slightly dim, more like a design for a night izakaya. There were quite a few lunch options available. This time, my family of four ordered different dishes to share. The prices were reasonable. The serving time was relatively quick despite the busy atmosphere. The most impressive dish was the sea bream in the boiled fish set meal. It was quite large, almost like a small sea bream. The quality matched the affordable prices. Overall, the meal was a good deal in terms of variety and portion size. I wonder how it would be for dinner. Bon appétit!

While in Kyobashi, I decided to try Nakano-ya for lunch, which I had been curious about for a while. The restaurant was moderately busy, but I was seated at a calm table. I ordered the Oyster Tamadon with soba, a Lemon Shochu Highball, and a 5-piece tempura. Enjoying a highball, oyster tamadon, soba, and tempura for lunch was a delightful experience. I received the Aoi course from my colleagues and boss at work. The private room for six people was a bit small, but all the dishes were delicious. Especially, there was a small pot of conger eel hot pot, and the conger eel was tender and the broth was very tasty, so I drank it all up! Also, the last dish, chicken and edamame rice cooked in a pot, was incredibly delicious!

I made a reservation for the "Fuku" course at G*nabi for my friend's birthday and celebration of their job offer. The image on G*nabi's page showed a large plate of sashimi, so I booked based on that. However, when the dish arrived, it was not a large plate but small dishes with a piece of squid, salmon, tuna, octopus, etc. each. I was a bit disappointed as there was no mention that the image was for 5 people. Despite this, I didn't complain and ordered an additional "5 kinds of sashimi platter" which resembled the large plate in the image. It included thickly sliced sashimi of different fish types. The menu didn't have this option, but it was available on a separate sheet with high-quality fish like red snapper and flounder. The grilled yellowtail I ordered later was delicious, and the sashimi was fresh with no complaints. However, it would be better if the restaurant accurately represented the dishes in their images for future customers. My friend enjoyed the celebration, so it was good overall, but I might hesitate to revisit. Thank you for the meal.

The sashimi set lunch was decent in terms of quality and quantity, but the side dishes were lacking. At 1850 yen, it's quite overpriced. I had high expectations for Naka's House, but you can find a similar meal for 1000-1200 yen elsewhere. The portion of rice was also small, and I only felt about 50% satisfied. What's more, the most unpleasant part was the smoking. I wish they would make it non-smoking during lunchtime.

I went shopping with my friend, and on the way back, we wanted to eat fish, so we decided to go to this restaurant. Even though we didn't make a reservation, they were okay with us ordering a set course. The set course included: - Assorted sashimi platter (large) - Assorted appetizers - Individual hot pot (choice of mixed hot pot or pork shabu-shabu) - Seasonal grilled fish - Side dish - Tai-meshi (sea bream rice) or steamed eel rice The presentation was beautiful and the portion size was satisfying! And all of this for only 4700 yen, which is very reasonable! I would definitely want to come back again.

I was guided to this restaurant because they serve fresh seafood. The place is huge, located in the basement. I ordered a draft beer for 691 yen. When the server came to take my order, they showed me a sample of fish, which was very impressive! I tried the following dishes: Today's assorted sashimi for 882 yen, spicy chicken wings for 626 yen, octopus tempura for 842 yen, dashimaki tamago with a rich Japanese-style sauce for 594 yen, Today's assorted sushi for 853 yen, and handmade soba noodles for 648 yen. Everything was delicious. I didn't know that the prices are halved after 8 pm, so I would like to visit again after that time. Thank you for the meal!
