Escaping from being a shut-in... It's been a while, so I decided to visit a new place, Gatteo. The restaurant, Gatteo, is just a minute walk from Sakaihigashi Station on the Nankai Koya Line. The place is located on the second floor, with mainly table seating and a few traditional Japanese-style tables. I started with a highball and ordered the salted tongue and wagyu beef set. The wagyu beef set included top sirloin, top kalbi, and top harami. The salted tongue was grilled nicely and had a good thickness. The wagyu beef was tender and juicy, especially the top harami. The sauce had a slightly sweet and salty taste. There were no garlic or condiments for flavor enhancement. I finished my meal without any vegetables. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

Wandering around Sakai Higashi Station. It's ridiculously hot. For lunch, I decided to replenish my stamina with a yakiniku lunch. I've always been curious about Gattei. When it comes to yakiniku in this area, Masakuraen is well known, but there are other options too! They cook the meat on a shichirin grill. The quality of the meat for the lunch set is not top-notch, but the marinade sauce, dipping sauce, and meat handling are well done. The taste is very refined. The lunch set includes a thick and juicy piece of meat, which is quite satisfying. The rice, salad, soup, and namul side dishes are also substantial. They serve water in a medium-sized glass lol. I arrived before 1:00 PM, so it was a bit calmer even during lunchtime. Thanks to that, I was able to enter smoothly. The service was quick and there were no issues. They also had all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink menus, so I would like to try it for dinner as well. Thank you for the meal!

I lined up and got in right away. I went for lunch. I wasn't expecting much, but there were many lunch options at affordable prices. I couldn't decide because there were so many lunch menu items. I left feeling full. The non-Japanese girl at the register was not very reliable, but I would like to go again.

Long time no see!? Had a yakiniku lunch here today... When I opened the door, I was greeted by the older sister~(゜-^*)/ She guided me to a cozy corner on the left as soon as I entered✧*。 The lunch menu seems to have been refined a bit since the last time I frequented this place~ It looks like they might have removed the bowl menu!? The customers around me were enjoying their yakiniku with beer~ It looked very delicious, but since I was still working, beer was a no-go for me!? I went for the classic route!! I ordered the new lunch set with meat, soup, salad, and rice, with a spicy sauce please・:*+.。 The lunch that arrived had thickly sliced kalbi, kalbi, pork belly, bacon, kimchi namul, and it was quite a feast‼︎ I started grilling the meat with tongs while warming my stomach with egg soup and kimchi & rice with chopsticks... Then, I took a bite of the grilled kalbi, which had the texture of a bite-sized steak, and the richness of the meat and the spicy sauce were amazing✧*。 I like thin slices of meat, but as long as I have teeth, I prefer thick cuts~♡ They were so delicious, having been carefully raised~ Following the kalbi were the pork belly and kalbi, with the different flavors adding an accent to the yakiniku here.:.゚・* Furthermore, with soup, rice, meat, kimchi namul, and vegetables, a loop of deliciousness was created~♡ Yakiniku and beer are great, but yakiniku and rice are just as good!! I highly recommend the yakiniku lunch at "Kawatei" in Sakai Higashi٩(ˊᗜ、ˋ*)و MASARU's recommendation✿°+.*

I sometimes go there for lunch. The service set is great and you can choose from various options. The set includes rice, soup, salad, kimchi, and you can get rice refills. The only difference in the menu is the type of meat. The meat is not particularly delicious, but considering the price, it's good enough. The portions are satisfying. It's recommended if you want to have yakiniku for lunch in a casual way.

While exploring around Sakai Higashi Station, I originally planned to go to a different yakiniku restaurant for lunch, but they were only open on the first floor with limited seating and I was turned away. So, I reluctantly checked out this restaurant instead. The seating area was spacious with sunken kotatsu tables, which was nice. The lunch menu had a lot of options, so I ordered the special harami lunch for around 2000 yen. The waitress brought a shichirin grill for me to cook the meat myself. The meal also came with rice and a vegetable salad, and I think refills were free once for each. The food turned out to be very delicious. I recently realized that Sakai secretly has some high-quality yakiniku restaurants. They are open late into the night, so I will definitely be coming back.

"Watei" is a yakiniku restaurant located in a shopping street a 3-4 minute walk from Sakaihigashi Station on the Nankai Electric Railway Koya Line. I visited with two other people after 10 pm on a weekday. The interior of the restaurant has a retro atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional pub, and it is spacious, making it perfect for enjoying with a large group. The dinner menu includes two special courses and two all-you-can-eat courses, as well as the option to order a la carte. They also offer a drink-all-you-can menu for 1,738 yen including tax. On this day, we ordered a la carte. The dishes we ordered included beef tongue (550 yen including tax), red intestine (550 yen including tax), harami (660 yen including tax), tsurami (660 yen including tax), kimchi assortment (418 yen including tax), and cold noodles (660 yen including tax). We enjoyed four types of offal meat, including the red intestine unique to yakiniku restaurants in Kansai, including Osaka. The red intestine, also known as "gisara" in Kanto, is a dish with a high fat content that ignites when placed on the grill. If we had more room in our stomachs, we would have liked to eat it mixed with white rice. The tsurami is cut slightly thicker than the usual thin slices and is grilled lightly on the surface. It has a rich flavor that becomes addictive. This was our third stop of the night, so we didn't order a lot, but all the cuts were fresh and paired well with beer. With reasonable prices, it is worth considering Watei as a candidate when looking for a yakiniku restaurant around Sakaihigashi Station."

The original place is here ↓https://ameblo.jp/fry2567/entry-12688378807.htmlLunch refugee. Hmm, what should I do? Oh, I remembered a place I visited before but somehow didn't post about on the blog, let's go there. So, I headed to Kawatei. It's located near Tenka Ippin in Sakai Higashi. It's really strange that I've been here about 2 times before but never posted about it. They offer lunch, all-you-can-eat at night, takeout, and various other things~ As soon as I entered, I felt like I was in heaven with the smell of grilled meat and the air conditioning. It's irresistible for someone tired from walking. Since it was Sunday, there were families and groups of two enjoying themselves. I felt a bit sorry being alone (laughs). Anyway, the menu looks like this ↓https://ameblo.jp/fry2567/entry-12688375789.htmlI chose the Service Lunch for 1100 yen. There were 4 types of meat on the menu, but there are actually 5 types here. Upper Kalbi, Kalbi, Harami, Pork belly... I wonder which one comes with salt sauce?? Now, let's start grilling... But before that, a draft beer Asahi Super Dry for 462 yen. There's no option but to have beer before grilled meat (laughs). Let's start grilling again. Grilling meat over charcoal is great~ First, the pork belly. The pork belly for lunch at a yakiniku restaurant is often thin, but this one has thickness, which is nice~ Let's grill the Harami and Kalbi as well. The sizzling sound is music to the ears. Yes, the thickness of the Upper Kalbi is amazing. The richness of flavor comes out nicely, delicious~ The meat with the mysterious salt sauce is also delicious when placed on rice~ Finished in no time~ It's a lively place with many families and couples on their day off. It's a good shop with great cost performance and quality. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal~♪

It's a hearty yakiniku lunch from noon at a yakiniku restaurant located just a short walk from Sakai Higashi Shotengai. I decided to try the solo yakiniku lunch today. I ordered the 1,100 yen set lunch which includes a selection of meats - upper kalbi, kalbi, harami, and pork belly. They also have a set lunch with chicken meat if you prefer. The charcoal in the shichirin grill was already burning nicely, so I started grilling the meat. Once cooked, I enjoyed the meat on top of rice with a slightly sweet sauce. The meat was not top-notch quality, but it was easy to eat and paired well with the rice. The soup that came with the meal was a bit salty for my taste. They offer free rice refills, but I didn't get one this time. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant before the state of emergency was declared. It is located in a back alley off Ginza Street in Sakai Higashi. I have been here several times and it is always bustling with energy. They have both tatami seating and tables. They serve charcoal-grilled yakiniku cooked on a shichirin. The prices are reasonable. It's a great place to stop by after work in the neighborhood!

In April of the 3rd year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:00-16:00), you can enjoy a delicious Yakiniku bowl with soup and kimchi for a total of 880 yen. The meat is seasoned with a rich sauce, making it a perfect match with the rice. It's a tasty Yakiniku bowl with good cost performance.

I went to "Kawatei" for a quick lunch with my usual group. I was in the mood for meat, so we decided to have yakiniku for lunch. The restaurant was already busy with about 4 groups enjoying their sizzling yakiniku. We ordered the white rice set for a quick lunch break. The food came out very quickly, thanks to the efficient staff. We ordered the popular service lunch set with kalbi. The set included various cuts of meat (kalbi, prime kalbi, harami, pork belly), kimchi, salad, soup, and rice. The kalbi was tender and the marinade was not too sweet. The harami was especially delicious. The portion of rice was generous and satisfying. The set also came with a side of onions, egg soup, salad with sesame dressing, and four different side dishes including namul and cucumber. Overall, it was a great value for 1000 yen. I left feeling full and satisfied, and I look forward to trying different cuts of meat on my next visit.

I knew about Mairevi's information before, but I couldn't quite figure it out! I heard that they have a good volume of food from young people, so I decided to give it a try. The timing was right on a weekday around 1 pm. The restaurant is located just a short walk from Sakaihigashi Station on the Nankai Koya Line, in the Sakaihigashi Ginza shopping street. You can easily spot it by the menu sign in front of the stairs leading up to the second floor. The door was open, and I entered the cozy wooden interior. The spacious seating area had a raised tatami section for six people. A friendly young lady guided me to a table, even though I was dining alone. I opted for the value lunch set for 1,000 yen. The meal started with a salad, pickles, rice, and soup served from the charcoal grill in about 5 minutes. Then came the meat - a selection of beef ribs, rib meat, skirt steak, and pork belly. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and I enjoyed grilling it on the tabletop charcoal grill. The service lunch set also included kimchi, bean sprout namul, and cucumber. I repeated the cycle of enjoying the meat, soup, and rice until I was pleasantly full. The restaurant was bustling with mostly discerning female customers, which added to the lively atmosphere. Overall, I had a great experience at Gattei and would recommend it for a repeat visit. - MASA☆RU's recommendation.

Last year, I had my first solo yakiniku experience and I've been going around trying different places. Cooking yakiniku on a shichirin grill by myself is the best! I can't get enough of it. The only downside is that the lunch menu outside didn't have any details written on it. The staff, all young women with cute ponytails, were great. The egg soup with sesame oil was too salty, the white rice was mushy and the kimchi was too sour. The Chinese cabbage had a weird seasoning, the spinach had a bitter taste, the tongue was chewy and thick, the loin was not bad with good texture, and the harami was small but surprisingly tasty with a salty flavor. The sauce was average, and I didn't realize that rice and salad refills were free. Actually, I had yakiniku for lunch yesterday too, but I think this place is better than that one.

This is a yakiniku restaurant located in the Sakai area of Osaka Prefecture. Just a 1-minute walk from Sakai Higashi Station on the Nankai Koya Line, you can find this restaurant by entering the Sakai Ginza shopping street, turning right at the first alley, and then immediately turning left. The spacious interior has various seating options including 4-person box seats, tables, and even a 6-person sunken kotatsu table. You can also create a semi-private space by lowering the roll curtains. They specialize in charcoal-grilled yakiniku, with a focus on high-quality meat and sauces, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. Their lunch menu includes a variety of options such as Service Lunch for 1000 yen, Upper Sirloin Lunch for 1350 yen, Upper Galbi Lunch for 1350 yen, Shizuoka Beef Lunch for 1350 yen, Salted Tongue Lunch for 1550 yen, Upper Harami Lunch for 1350 yen, Special Sirloin Galbi Lunch for 2200 yen, Hormone Lunch for 1350 yen, Pot-grilled Yakiniku Lunch for 1360 yen, Special Harami Lunch for 1850 yen, Special Sirloin Lunch for 2500 yen, Special Sirloin & Upper Sirloin Lunch for 2000 yen, and more. I was drawn to the 1000 yen Service Lunch but as a big eater, I opted for the Large Serving Lunch for 1350 yen (excluding tax) which includes Upper Galbi, Galbi, Harami, Pork Belly, Rice, Salad, Soup, Kimchi, and Namul. The lunch is served with a tabletop grill for you to cook the meat yourself. The restaurant offers a wide variety of side dishes along with the yakiniku, making it a unique dining experience. Rice is free for refills. They also offer an all-you-can-eat option for 4500 yen for 2 people or more, which seems like a great deal for those who want to enjoy a feast. I might consider trying the all-you-can-eat option next time as it is available all day long.

I was told by the owner of a yakitori restaurant that they have a great cost performance, so I decided to go there for lunch! It was my first time having lunch there, as I had only been there for dinner before. I didn't even know they served lunch. It's a great deal! They have a service lunch with various dishes. However, it might not be enough for men. The rice, soup, and salad are all-you-can-eat, which is great. The food cooked over charcoal is especially delicious. I think I'll become a regular for their lunch menu.

In Sakai Higashi, it's time for a yakiniku lunch♡ Even though it was past 2 pm, they still offered lunch menu⤴︎⤴︎⤴︎ Each table in the restaurant has a smokeless roaster, and the yakiniku is cooked on a shichirin grill, so it must be delicious♥ Speaking of shichirin grills, there's a tattoo that Ariana Grande got inspired by the song "7 rings." This American popular singer, known for her love for Japan, got the tattoo without consulting Japanese people first, and later had to correct it as it turned out to be a weird character. It was quite a hot topic in the news at one point. Despite this incident, I really love Ariana Grande because she is so cute. I digressed a bit m(__)m The lunch shared with friends included: ✱Top sirloin lunch ¥1,350 ✱Horumon (offal) lunch ¥1,350 ✱Draft beer ¥400 The lunch comes with meat, rice, namul, kimchi, and soup. The rice portion is almost like two servings!? The soup is a creamy egg soup with a sesame oil aroma, very delicious. The amount of meat is also generous... The top sirloin is very tender and flavorful. The horumon is also plentiful. Sharing was definitely the right choice! I wish there were a bit more vegetables, but considering the price and portion size, there's nothing to complain about. Yakiniku cooked on a shichirin grill is the best❢❢❢ It was delicious♡ Thank you for the meal~٩(๑´0`๑)۶Ⓟ

This is a restaurant that serves soft and delicious meat! The lunch menu was reasonably priced. I found this place right after parking. It's located near a shopping street, so I was worried about parking, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby so you can visit by car. The interior is decorated in a retro style, which is fun! The lunch course offers several great deals. You get kimchi, rice, and soup, so you'll leave with a full stomach!

Sakai Higashi Station seems a bit quieter compared to the past, with less bustling energy, but amidst this, the restaurant "Kawatei" is still thriving. Located just off the Sakai Higashi shopping street, this popular yakiniku restaurant caters to a diverse clientele. While buffet-style yakiniku places are common nowadays, Kawatei offers individual ordering. The variety of customers it attracts is a testament to its popularity. For those who want to enjoy delicious yakiniku, there are individual menu options, but for those looking for a feast, they offer a 90-minute all-you-can-eat option for 3,300 yen (excluding tax). They also have a premium wagyu all-you-can-eat option for 5,500 yen (excluding tax) for those willing to splurge. The quality of the meat more than justifies the slightly higher price compared to chain restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed grilling their specialty meat over the charcoal grill. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I have been using this restaurant regularly for several years. The prices have gradually increased, but it's still relatively tasty and reasonable. The staff always seem busy and not very friendly. I wish they would clean the place more thoroughly, especially the tatami mats which are quite dirty. Hygiene is a major concern for me. Despite these issues, when I prioritize cost performance, I still end up coming here.
