I visited a popular restaurant in the neighborhood that was crowded. I ordered seafood ramen with a boiled egg on top, and mentaiko rice. Even though it was a pork bone ramen area, I chose a seafood-based one. However, what came out was a pork bone ramen topped with bonito flakes. I was surprised because I thought seafood-based meant bonito flakes. The taste was good, but the saltiness was a bit strong. As someone who likes thick noodles, I didn't find the noodles very appealing. The mentaiko rice was delicious, with decent mentaiko and pickled vegetables. I couldn't help but think that it would be better to just have mentaiko rice and miso soup without the ramen.

It depends on the person. This is just my personal opinion, so please understand. For those who like authentic Hakata ramen, I do not recommend it because the taste is different. The noodles are also not the thin noodles typically found in Hakata ramen, so be careful.

It arrived about 4 minutes after ordering. I wish I had more room in my stomach to get an extra serving of noodles. I definitely want to visit again.

The combination of firm noodles with a chewy texture and a rich but not overpowering pork bone soup was delicious! The melt-in-your-mouth chashu and plenty of green onions were tasty, and the spicy kick enhanced the flavor. After finishing the noodles, I added pickled mustard greens to the soup and enjoyed it together.

Today, I went to a Hakata ramen restaurant nearby that I found through a search. The interior of the restaurant had only counter seats, but there were a reasonable number of seats available. They had a system where you purchase meal tickets first. Customers ranged from individuals to groups. I ordered the "Half-boiled seasoned egg ramen" which was recommended. You could choose the firmness of the noodles, the amount of spicy sauce, and whether to add green onions. The taste of the soup was mild and easy to enjoy, without the strong smell or taste typical of Hakata tonkotsu ramen. The seasoned egg was flavorful, but the chashu was just average. They also offer various set meals during lunchtime. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you for the food.

I visited my favorite bar in Nakasu and stopped by at "Danbo" on my way back, which I had been curious about. I was torn between the seafood-based or negi-goma (spring onion and sesame) ramen, but I ordered the "Negi-goma Ramen"! You buy a meal ticket at the entrance. I asked for the noodles to be firm and the spiciness to be moderate. The flavor of sesame, spring onion, and pork bone blended well and it was delicious. I was told that if I post on Instagram with the hashtag #Danbo, I would get a half-boiled flavored egg or an extra serving of noodles, so I quickly posted and got a half-boiled flavored egg. Hmm, very satisfied! I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I think that places like Ichiran, Ippudo, and Ikko Sha, although they have fewer locations compared to other tonkotsu ramen shops, are definitely representative of Hakata tonkotsu ramen. I haven't eaten there much, but it is very delicious. Ramen in Nakasu is usually eaten after drinking, so the way you feel about it can vary greatly depending on whether you eat it for lunch or after a night of drinking... In terms of location, it is very delicious for ramen after drinking in Nakasu.

Mihorin (STU48's Miho Tanaka) posted about Danmoku-san's ramen on Twitter. She really knows Fukuoka gourmet food well, being from there. There are several locations, but on this day, with limited time before leaving Fukuoka, I stopped by the convenient Nakasu branch. The photo Mihorin took and the interior didn't match, so it seems to be a different location, but that's okay. I bought a ramen ticket for 780 yen. I enjoyed it at the seat furthest back at the counter. The rich milky soup paired well with the thin noodles. The chashu was thin but large. When I tried mixing the spicy sauce into the soup, it became too spicy to drink. The crunchy green onions saved the day. There seems to be a sign from Rikopi (Riko Sakamoto, who graduated from HKT48) at the EZO Fukuoka branch near the HKT48 theater, so I have to check it out! (It is said that on the day of her graduation performance, a limited-time red ramen created by Rikopi was also served).

When I go out for drinks in Nakasu Kawabata, this is the place I often go to finish off the night. I was initially lured in by the sign boasting about winning first place in the Ramen Grand Prix. The ramen here is classic and delicious, similar to Ichiran. If you like spicy ramen, I recommend the Rekka. I often order the Rekka myself. If you want to eat delicious ramen, this place is a sure bet.
