On September 4, 2022, after getting a stamp at Katsuo-ji in Minoh City, I headed to a place called Furan to have some dessert. The name of the place is Furan, and I had a big cream puff and an iced latte. The cream puff was big and delicious, filled with fruits, custard cream, and whipped cream. The iced latte was also very tasty. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I visited a stylish Rider's Cafe with a motorcycle to have coffee. It's about a 30-40 minute ride from Osaka city center on Shinmidosuji. The delicious iced coffee and authentic cakes were easy to tell at first sip. I will definitely go again!

The melon was very juicy, with a filling of custard and sponge that provided a delightful texture. It wasn't too sweet, allowing the taste of the melon to shine through. Additionally, the owner is a fan of motorcycles, so being able to chat about bikes added to the enjoyable experience!

Located away from the city streets, this cafe offers a unique and inspiring experience. With a stylish wooden exterior and a well-designed sign, the cafe, named "風◎輪" (pronounced "Purin"), exudes a chic atmosphere. While the interior is cozy, the outdoor terrace seating (2 tables, 4-5 people each) is recommended during this season if available. I ordered their recommended Grapefruit Cake for 600 yen and a Lemon Soda for 450 yen. The total bill came to 971 yen for some reason. Enjoying the pleasant breeze on the terrace, my order arrived. The cake, made with a whole grapefruit, looked stunning with juicy fruit pieces and a delicious tart base. The Lemon Soda came in a glass filled with lemon slices, maintaining its sweet taste even after refills. The lemon slices were well-seasoned, making them enjoyable to eat. Both the presentation and taste of the dishes were excellent.

Around 11:30, I visited the restaurant and there was one customer at the counter. Since the weather was nice, I was seated at the terrace with an open umbrella. I ordered a 'Lemon Soda' for 510 yen and a 'Windmill Pudding' for 255 yen. I enjoyed a relaxing time reading a book. I also bought a 'Freshly Baked Cream Puff' for 150 yen as a souvenir. Thank you for the meal!

A cake shop located in a narrow alley in a residential area. It's not close to the station, so you can get there by car, motorbike, bicycle, or on foot. If you try to enter the alley from the east side by car, you'll need to make a sharp turn, so it's easier to enter from the west side. There are 4 parking spaces, but no reverse parking allowed. There are 2 tables on the open terrace, and 3 seats inside, as well as 3 or 4 seats at the counter. It's a small shop. I arrived on a Saturday before 2:30 pm and there was one seat available, so I was seated right away. After that, one group had to wait a bit. There were also customers coming in for takeout. I ordered: - Mont Blanc (380 yen) - Pudding (280 yen) - Mandelin (500 yen?) There was a 100 yen discount for ordering with cake. It took a bit of time for the order to be served, maybe 15 to 20 minutes. It might have been because the shop was full, but I think it's because they were carefully brewing the coffee. The Mandelin was delicious, even black. The Mont Blanc was unlike any I've had before. You scoop it with a spoon without removing the plastic covering it. It had layers of cream, pie, sponge, and some kind of bavarois? I wasn't sure, but it was a mix of different things. The pudding was old-fashioned and firm. Some people like this kind of texture. I prefer a softer pudding, but this was still tasty. Since the parking lot is small, there might be times when you can't find a spot. In that case, getting takeout and quickly heading home might be a good option.

Today I went to Minoh for work... I mistakenly thought my appointment was in the morning around 10 o'clock... I still had a little over an hour until the appointment time. Since I was already there, I decided to go try the pudding that I've been curious about. So, I visited Kazamawheel. I entered the shop a little after 10 o'clock. There were no other customers. A friendly female staff member welcomed me. When I expressed my desire to eat in the shop, she told me to choose any seat I liked. Since the weather was nice, I chose a terrace seat. I enjoyed the peaceful view of the rice fields and the laughter of children from a nearby kindergarten or elementary school. What a peaceful day it was. Now, I placed my order. I ordered an iced coffee and the Kazamawheel (pudding). With the children's laughter and the teacher's instructions as background music, I waited for about 4 minutes... Here it came! The iced coffee and the Kazamawheel (pudding)! They looked great! So, I tried the Kazamawheel (pudding)... It had a simple appearance. When I gently scooped it with a spoon, I could feel its jiggly texture. When I tasted it, it was smooth and silky. The caramel flavor was slightly intense. This pudding is perfect for those who like smooth and creamy puddings. The iced coffee had a refreshing bitterness. It was a blissful pudding time while gazing at the serene landscape. I felt so happy. It was such a lovely time, so I should probably head out soon. Thank you for the meal.

The name of the shop is written as "Wind Circle" and the shop is called "Pudding". This is in Minoh City. The shop is located next to a rice paddy field where rice is planted. It is a peaceful and relaxing situation where you can just space out. Since it's an area I rarely visit for work, it feels fresh and exciting. I nervously drive while following the navigation to find the shop. The parking lot is located next to the shop and it's a bit difficult to park. The customers seem to be locals, maybe a husband and wife running the shop? I carefully look at the cake showcase before heading to the café. I decide to sit in the garden since it was featured on Myレビ's blog. It's hot, but I'll enjoy it outside. It's so peaceful (*´-`) After doing hot yoga, I decide to refresh myself with a lemon soda made with Nobei's carbonated water. For cake, I choose the grapefruit one I saw in the showcase. Both are citrus flavors, but that's what I feel like today. I completely forgot about my pudding mission (T . T) After a while, the lemon soda arrives! They also give me the lemon slice to eat, so nice of them to explain. It's made with homemade lemon syrup. It's refreshing with the Nobei's carbonation - not overly sweet and delicious. I had a bad experience with lemon soda at a different shop where the homemade lemon syrup was minced, but this one with the sliced lemon was beautiful and just the right amount of sweetness and freshness. The cake with grapefruit and kiwi was also refreshing! It had a pie crust and a custard-like layer at the bottom. The whipped cream on top was a bit heavy for me. The grapefruit was refreshing and tasty. I look forward to visiting again in a different season.

This is a café located near the Shokuhinkan Apro Minoh store. It is a cozy countryside café with an open terrace overlooking a rice field. The café is run by a friendly couple and is popular among regular customers. Their cakes and baked goods are delicious. Today, my friend and I shared a hot coffee, a seasonal fruit cake for 600 yen, and a pudding for 250 yen. The pudding here is rich and slightly firm with a good balance of egg yolk. The caramel is a bit bitter, which complements the pudding perfectly. If it came with whipped cream, it would be perfect! The melon cake has sweet melon and a mild custard cream that pairs well with the sponge cake. The coffee beans are roasted in-house and served in large cups, making you feel like you're getting a great deal.

I found out about the "Cake and Coffee Wind° Wheel (Pudding)" from a flyer at a bakery in Saito City. I sometimes pass by this bakery on my way back from dog training classes with my beloved dog Mint, but I had never noticed it before because it is located on a narrow street just one block away from the main road. However, once you enter the side street, you will immediately see the shop. As soon as you enter the shop, you will see a display case filled with various cakes. The shop's name, Wind° Wheel (Pudding), is prominently displayed with a wide variety of puddings. They also offer a selection of baked goods. The interior of the shop has a calm atmosphere with both table and counter seating available. There is also an outdoor area with a two-seater swing visible. The sunny weather and the serene pastoral scenery nearby were very soothing. The coffee, priced at ¥400, can be chosen from four different options. I chose the Tanzanian coffee for its fruity sweetness and acidity. The coffee was mild and abundant, which made me happy. I also ordered the Mont Blanc cake for ¥320. The instructions were to scoop it up with a spoon without removing the film. It contained a generous amount of chestnut cream, whipped cream, and a moist sponge cake base. The sweetness was moderate, and I finished it in no time. I decided to buy a pudding to take home as well. The Wind° Wheel pudding priced at ¥250 had a classic firm texture and a slightly rich flavor with vanilla beans and caramel. Overall, the shop staff were very pleasant, and I would love to try other cakes there, so I definitely plan to visit again.

On my way to another shop to liven up my working holiday, I happened to come across this cafe. It was the best discovery of the day. The interior had a warm atmosphere, filled with the delightful aroma of freshly roasted coffee. There was also a terrace where you could enjoy your coffee when it gets warmer. I ordered a set of Kenyan coffee and cake. The cake may have seemed like something from the good old days at first glance, but that was just a preconception. It was actually delicious despite the affordable price. However, the highlight was definitely the coffee. It was much better than the one I had at a certain shop in Osaka last week. It may not be a place you go out of your way to visit, but I wouldn't mind coming back again. I would like to bring my wife next time.

On Christmas day, I booked a decoration cake a few days in advance as a safety measure, and I was impressed by their service spirit in meeting my detailed requests. It started from the size, to the type of cream, whether there are fruits between the sponge layers, and even if they provide a birthday plate. They provided a cake with plenty of fruits as requested, although I ordered a 15cm cake, they also had a 30cm cake in their showcase which is rare to see nowadays and perfect for parties. The cream was not too sweet and easy to eat, but the sponge had larger air bubbles than I prefer, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, I would like to order from them again in the future.

It is located near the Aoumaya intersection in Minoh City, but the shop is quite hard to find as it is tucked away in a narrow alley. As a landmark, there is a small statue of Jizo in the alley, and once you enter, you will arrive at the shop. When asked why this location, the owner said that they fell in love with the view of the Minoh mountains from inside the shop and wanted people to enjoy the scenery while eating delicious cakes. The cream puffs are small but the choux pastry is crispy, and as you scoop the cream, two different types of cream come out, creating a delicious harmony. The pudding on the signboard is creamy and a bit tricky to eat, but it has a smooth and mildly sweet taste that becomes addictive. It is a shop where you can enjoy delicious cakes at a reasonable price, along with freshly roasted coffee and engaging conversations with the pastry chef (owner).

I happened to find this shop while driving, but it's not easily visible from the road as it's tucked away. There was plenty of parking available. The interior had about 30 seats, including a terrace. It seemed to be run by a couple, with the husband wearing a chef's hat. They even had a small coffee roasting machine, and the aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air. You could sense their dedication to coffee. The cakes were mostly simple, but there were some that were unexpectedly delightful. The swing on the terrace was lovely.

The mountain road leading to Katsuo-ji Temple in Minoh City in March 2018 is a perfect training route for cyclists in the northern part of Osaka. This shop is conveniently located near the foot of the mountain. The cakes offered are mainly traditional and reasonably priced. There are plenty of seating options in the café, and bike racks are available in the parking lot. The friendly couple running the shop adds to the pleasant atmosphere. Cyclists, how about replenishing your sugar levels after your training session here?

I was brought here by a friend. It's located along a narrow road just off the main street, so it's not very noticeable, but it seems to be a popular and well-loved local shop. They offer a variety of cakes, from seasonal specials to classic options like strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake, so there are plenty of choices. My favorite is the Mont Blanc. It's very soft, so you eat it with a spoon without removing the outer film. They also accept PayPay. They have a terrace seating area as well, so it seems like a nice place to enjoy tea while taking in the countryside views on a nice day.
