I used this place for a second party! It was after 9 pm, but it was crowded even on weekdays! It was my first time coming here based on a friend's recommendation, and the famous gyoza was delicious with a strong garlic flavor! The service was okay, but the taste was delicious!

The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere with seating arranged in a circular shape without partitions, making it easy to interact with other customers (I even made friends with the young people next to me). I didn't order a lot, but the bite-sized dumplings and chicken wings are recommended. The grilled chicken was also delicious, but it came with a spicy sauce. I had 3-4 drinks per person, and the food was decent. The total cost was around 3,000 yen per person.

After enjoying a hot pot at "Hakata motsunabe Ikei" in Nishinakasu, we headed to "Taketora" near the hotel in Haruyoshi for some gyoza as a finishing touch. This place is a one-bite gyoza shop unique to Hakata, and it was bustling with young people. Since we had a bit too much to drink at the previous restaurant, I ordered a non-alcoholic beer and some grilled gyoza. A serving consisted of 10 small gyoza, which were juicy, easy to eat, and delicious. They paired well with the non-alcoholic beer.

I ordered gyoza, potato salad, yakisoba with hormones, grilled sagari, and drool chicken. I went there because it had good reviews, but personally, I couldn't find a dish that I thought was really delicious. The atmosphere was lively and nice though! The gyoza had burnt skin but the filling seemed undercooked. The yakisoba, grilled sagari, and drool chicken had a lot of moisture, making it hard to tell if it was spicy or just bland. The potato salad was more like mashed potatoes, which I think could be a hit or miss for some people!

It was a normal day, but the restaurant was bustling. I ordered something that could be served quickly without the need for beer or cooking, but the gyoza arrived first. It was crowded, so there was a wait. The fact that smoking was allowed bothered me because of the smell. The gyoza was delicious.

The bite-sized dumplings come in servings of 10, making it easy to eat them quickly. The skin is chewy and delicious. The leek and egg soup, despite its appearance, has a rich flavor that makes you crave rice. I went after midnight and it was packed, but I managed to squeeze in.

Good points: The gyoza (dumplings) are very delicious. The staff are all friendly. Concerns: The seating is a bit cramped, even without considering COVID. The speed of food service is slow. Other dishes besides gyoza were not great. The Negi Tama (scrambled eggs with leeks) had too few leeks. The Mapo Tofu was too watery and lukewarm. It would have been better if it was either cold or piping hot. Overall, it was just an average izakaya (Japanese pub).

Wandering around the Nakasu area, I stumbled upon a shop called "Hakata Hitokuchi Gyoza Taketora" as my second stop. I had made a reservation in advance and visited around 9 pm. I started with a Mega Highball for a toast. For food, I ordered the one-bite gyoza, steamed chicken, and eggplant with cheese. The one-bite gyoza here is small and round, with a delicious taste that goes well with the Highball. I couldn't resist ordering another plate of gyoza because they were so tasty. The interior of the shop is quite cramped and narrow, with a style of sitting side by side with the person next to you. There seemed to be a lot of female customers around. Anyway, the Hakata one-bite gyoza is a must-try!

This was my second time at Shunyoshi and I will definitely come back here again! I personally love gyoza too! This time was my second visit, and honestly, I've been here about 10 times! It's cheap, delicious, and perfect for a second visit! The menu had changed since my last visit, which was a nice surprise. Next time, I want to come for my first visit and enjoy both the food and taking photos! Thank you for the meal!

When I went to Hakata, I absolutely wanted to eat gyoza! It happened to be the same day as the Hakata Dontaku festival, so every restaurant was fully booked... In the midst of that, when I called Take Torasan, they kindly accommodated us because we had an early reservation. After 7 pm, the place started getting crowded, so it's essential to make a reservation on event days... The restaurant has a unique layout with a single table surrounding the kitchen, dividing it into inner and outer sections. The close proximity (maybe because of this) made it seem like there were many couples around. When we ordered gyoza, they cooked it right in front of us and served us piping hot gyoza. Oh my gosh, it was delicious! I couldn't stop eating the gyoza, it was amazing! It was so delicious. I couldn't resist the one-bite gyoza! Besides gyoza, they also had deep-fried chicken wings, which were also incredibly tasty, and we ended up eating a lot. The hot chicken wings were too good! Additionally, the staff at the restaurant were extremely kind, they cheerfully talked to us, visitors from out of town, and made sure we had a great time. Thank you for the enjoyable time! I will definitely visit again!

Today's visit was to Hakata Hitokuchi Gyoza Taketora. Hakata Hitokuchi Gyoza Taketora is an izakaya located in Tenjin Minami, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. They are open until late at night and offer Hakata's famous bite-sized gyoza. This time, I visited late at night and decided to try the Hakata Hitokuchi Gyoza and fried chicken. The Hakata Hitokuchi Gyoza here is different from the typical Hakata gyoza, being plump and juicy with a delicious meaty flavor. It also comes with separate garlic chives, allowing you to enjoy it without worrying about the smell. The fried chicken has a crispy coating and juicy deliciousness. It's nice to have this kind of B-class food at an izakaya. Overall, I only tried two items, but they were both delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The festival was full so we decided to wait and tried this place! The potato salad with a light dressing was delicious. The mini dumplings were like a copy of Kurume's famous dumplings, chewy with added chives and sesame on top. The chicken wings were simply seasoned but tasty. The prices are reasonable so it's a good place for a quick bite or to hop between different spots.

- Specializing in Hakata-style pan-fried dumplings - Happy Hour offers beer for 220 yen and dumplings for 200 yen - Japan's best croquette for 400 yen - Light and chewy dumplings - The croquette stands out with its sweetness from potatoes and butter - Oroamin C sour drink is subtle with a small serving量

This is already our third stop of the day, haha. Before I knew it, it was past midnight. We were craving ramen but felt like having gyoza too, so we looked it up and ended up at Taketora in Haruyoshi, a late-night spot. The gyoza here is handmade in the shop, which is a great aspect of Hakata cuisine. The gyoza are light and easy to eat, with a slightly chewy skin. I prefer a crispier texture, but this was good too. The filling doesn't have leeks, so you can add them with the special sauce and sesame as you like. Oh, they also have Unzen ham! It's not something you can easily find in Tokyo. It's delicious, isn't it? Before we knew it, we had also ordered the mazemen and yakiramen. Sharing them makes for great snacks. The mazemen had a unique flavor, almost like butter (though I could be wrong), and it was surprisingly tasty! The yakiramen was packed with vegetables, making it a healthy option. Perfect for snacking. It was great to find a place open late into the night. Thank you for the meal.

It had been a while since we gathered with the members and decided to visit this restaurant. First of all, the interior design is interesting! It has a counter in the shape of a "コ" (Katakana for "ko"). As you can see in the interior photo, it conveys the concept (lol). At the far end of the table, the staff was diligently making dumplings. The vibrations could even be felt by us on the other end! Another interesting thing was the menu! Not that the menu itself is interesting, but the location of the menu (lol). It was hanging from above, which was quite unexpected. It doesn't get in the way and it's amazing. You can play with it by pulling it (*^^*). With all that, we placed our order! - Grilled dumplings (20 pieces) Surprisingly, these dumplings do not contain chives or garlic! Instead, you can add chopped chives and sesame seeds to the special sauce as you like! It's a bit tough without garlic (´・ω・`), but moving on, 20 grilled dumplings arrived! They are cute in a small size (^^). The small size is like Hakata-style bite-sized dumplings, but the skin is the opposite, more chewy type. I like the chewy skin, so I'm happy! They are juicy, but maybe because of the lack of garlic, they didn't quite hit the spot. Well, the price is cheap, and they are easy to eat because of the size (^^). - Boiled dumplings (20 pieces) We also ordered 20 boiled dumplings! We thought it would take time, but it turned out that the order didn't go through (>_The dumplings are also dipped in the sauce just like the grilled ones. Yes, they are different from the grilled dumplings, and I felt that they had a more chewy texture! - Menma (seasoned bamboo shoots) I thought it would be the size of ramen menma, but it turned out to be huge! It's satisfying to eat~ Menma lovers will be delighted with this snack♬ It's the best to drink with menma. - Chilled cucumber There was smashed cucumber and chilled cucumber side by side on the menu, and after some consideration, we ordered the chilled cucumber. Dip it in miso and enjoy (^O^). We had to leave as we had a reservation for the second place. By the way, it was raining heavily on that day. The entrance faces the road, and there was no roof covering, so you will get quite wet closing your umbrella and entering (^^; I want to energetically open the door on a sunny day ♬ Thank you for the meal.

This was my first visit to Taketora. Since it was my second stop, I only ordered the gyoza. They mentioned that there was no garlic or chives in it, so they suggested adding chopped chives to the sauce if desired. I tried a bite without adding chives. Hmm? It lacked any punch. As someone used to the garlic-packed gyoza in Nagasaki, this one just tasted like dough and meat to me. I wonder if the young people around me find this delicious? I could feel the chewiness of the dough, but the filling just didn't do it for me. It's a matter of personal preference, but it didn't appeal to me at all.

I headed to this restaurant right after finishing work. During early hours, they have a happy hour where gyoza and beer are half price. There are many famous dishes from Hakata, but one-bite gyoza is one of them. Since it was still early, there were no other customers. The staff were slowly getting ready for the upcoming rush, so I felt a bit sorry. I ordered: - Gyoza (10 pieces) x 2 for 200 yen each, which is one-bite size. I got a total of 20 pieces, which was satisfying. They taste great dipped in the sauce and go well with beer. - Draft beer for 220 yen. It was a Premium Malt beer served in a nice glass. A beer after work is always delicious! If I worked nearby, I would definitely stop by for a quick drink before heading home.

Early cheap drinking at Haruyoshi "Taketora"! Located along the main street in Haruyoshi, Fukuoka City, "Taketora" is a shop known for its Hakata style pan-fried dumplings. With a red curtain and a charming sliding door, it has a great atmosphere for a drinking spot. From opening until 6:30 PM, they offer incredible deals like dumplings for 200 yen and draft beer for 220 yen. So, I ordered a draft beer and 10 pan-fried dumplings. They brought out a sauce with condiments for dipping, and the dumplings were small but juicy and delicious. The shop has a large counter in a big "C" shape, with a griddle in the center for cooking the dumplings. Feeling like I needed more, I added a highball to my order. The bill came out to only 800 yen with no cover charge! Amazing! This place is a wonderful dumpling and drinking spot. - Shop Information - Taketora 050-5594-9373 3-26-27 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City Opening hours: 17:00-05:00

On the 4th day of December in Hakata, after a light meal at Uguisuya, we impulsively entered this restaurant nearby called "Hakata Hitokuchi Gyoza Taketora." It was still before 7:00 PM, so we decided to have some gyoza before heading back to Nakasu. The restaurant had a decent number of customers, and there was a large round iron plate in the center where the gyoza were cooked. The counter seats surrounded the plate, and it was interesting to see seats inside the counter as well. Our order for the day was: - Grilled Gyoza (400 yen) - Japan's Number One Croquette (450 yen) - Mega Angle High (720 yen) The grilled gyoza were small and came in a set of 10. We were advised to add leeks and sesame to the gyoza sauce according to our preference. The thick homemade skin had a chewy texture with a hint of sesame oil flavor. However, the filling seemed to be overshadowed by the floury taste of the skin. It felt like there was not enough filling to balance out the thickness of the skin. We thought that maybe this type of skin would be more suitable for steamed or boiled dumplings rather than grilled ones. As for the croquette, it was similar to Inatori 2's Hokkaido croquette but with a sweeter taste. It was delicious, but calling it Japan's best croquette might be a bit of an exaggeration. Overall, the restaurant was not bad at all. It's a good place for a casual drink, and the convenience is also a plus. Thank you for the meal! Alright, let's head to Nakasu now!
