A restaurant in the competitive area of Korean cuisine within the Ikuno Gourmet Market in Tsuruhashi. My friend wanted to go, so we entered. The atmosphere was like a Korean diner, with tables eating grilled dishes and various cold noodles. The menu was extensive, so I had a hard time deciding, but I chose the rare Dojo (loach) set meal. The loach was not in the form of a pot, but more like miso soup with vegetables, and it was delicious.

The restaurant was spacious and clean. I had Sundae from the many menu options available. It truly tasted like the real deal, and I definitely want to try other menu items. The staff showed great care towards the elderly, and it was nice to see that their service was like a seasoning.

I used it for lunch. I ordered Samgyetang, Kamjatang, Deji Galbi, and Motsu Stir-fry. The taste is good for all of them. The side dishes are a good deal with five items and refills are possible. The Deji Galbi might be the most delicious in Osaka. They didn't bring what we ordered, made mistakes, and seemed to focus only on getting customers in. I ordered the Motsu Stir-fry for my child, asking for a non-spicy version, but it turned out to be extremely spicy, and my child couldn't eat it. I later found out that they only have spicy ones.

I visited this restaurant again with 3 people after having a delicious meal here last year. Korean dishes are known for their large portions, so it's best to come with a group. We ordered the following dishes: Tsubu shellfish, pork feet (small), stir-fried octopus, sundubu jjigae, cheese tteokbokki, and had some beer and oolong tea. The Tsubu shellfish had a great flavor with a sweet and spicy sauce. The stir-fried octopus was chewy and delicious. The pork feet were cut into chunks, which was a bit disappointing. The cheese tteokbokki was mild and easy on the palate. We were planning to have cold noodles as well, but we were too full from the tteokbokki. Overall, it was another delicious meal. Thank you for the feast!

Located on the way to Koreatown in Tsuruhashi, this restaurant is one of the many Korean eateries clustered along the Honmachi shopping street. It seems to have recently undergone renovations, making the place look clean and inviting. It's worth noting that there are many smoking-permitted establishments in this area, so be cautious when entering. However, standing still outside the restaurant might attract the attention of the staff. I decided to try their Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) since this restaurant is non-smoking. Although the menu advertised it as a set meal, it did not come with rice. Instead, I was served six types of banchan (side dishes) along with daikon kimchi. All the banchan were homemade and delicious, especially the stir-fried anchovies with chili peppers. The Samgyetang contained half a chicken, ginseng, garlic, jujube, and other ingredients, all chopped up rather than being whole. By the end of the meal, I felt warm and satisfied, craving for some rice. Despite the excellent food, I found the service lacking. I would love to come back for the food, but the service needs improvement. Thank you for the meal!

Three women gathered in Tsuruhashi because they wanted to eat Korean food. They were able to enjoy the authentic taste made by Koreans. The kimchi and namul served as appetizers, as well as other side dishes, were all free for refills. Korean restaurants often offer free kimchi and great service. The seafood pancake was chewy, but personally, they preferred it a bit more crispy. The samgyeopsal and pork kalbi were delicious, and they enjoyed plenty of kimchi. The makgeolli was also tasty since it was served fresh. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I went to Nobara no Yu and decided to have some Korean food in Tsuruhashi since I was already there. I did some research and found a restaurant that caught my eye. It was not very crowded, probably due to the influence of COVID-19, with only a few Korean customers at the back. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered the "Sundae Guk" (Sundae soup) and the classic "Stone Pot Bibimbap". The Stone Pot Bibimbap had a typical taste, maybe because the Gochujang wasn't homemade. It was delicious. The Sundae Guk had a nice aroma from the perilla powder on top. It was like a stew but without rice, so it was more like a soup. The chewy texture of the glass noodles inside the Sundae and the crunchy texture of the black wood ear mushrooms were enjoyable. If you want to try Sundae, this is the place to go. I would like to remember the names of Korean dishes and explore other Korean restaurants in this area.

I stopped by Tsuruhashi on my way out of Osaka for an early dinner. The restaurant seemed to have been recently renovated and looked very clean. I had stir-fried turbo shell hormone, Korean-style steamed egg custard, and draft beer. The beer was especially delicious on such a hot and humid day. I chose to have the turbo shell hormone dish spicy, and it had a deliciously spicy aftertaste. The hormone stir-fry was also spicy and tasty. The steamed egg custard had a gentle flavor and balanced out the meal nicely. I also ordered spicy tofu stew and kimbap, which made for a satisfying and filling meal. The service was very friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I revisited the restaurant with my son because I had a good impression last time. There were flowers at the entrance and the interior seemed different from last time. I asked if they had the loach gallbladder set meal, which was sold out last time, and they said they could make it. I ordered the loach gallbladder set meal for 1000 yen, and my son ordered the half chicken soup set meal for 1300 yen. We enjoyed the side dishes, with six different dishes and oi kimchi to nibble on. The loach gallbladder set meal arrived. It was served with sansho pepper, maybe to eliminate any fishy smell. The soup looked like miso soup with lots of vegetables. I drank the hot soup, which had no fishy smell at all, so maybe the sansho pepper wasn't necessary. Even after eating about half of it, I couldn't find any loach. The ingredients seemed to be just like simmered radish leaves. It had a gentle taste that seemed good for the body, like hospital food. It was tasty, but where did the loach go? In the end, even after finishing everything, I only found radish leaves and soybeans in the soup. I think what I ate was actually dried radish leaf soup, which I had wanted to try before. It wasn't bad and it cost the same as the loach gallbladder set meal, but I really wanted to try the loach. My son's half chicken soup was delicious. Maybe because there was rice in the soup, it didn't come with rice, so I shared half of my rice with him.

Lunch in Tsuruhashi on the weekend. The restaurant was crowded everywhere, and it was hard to find a place to sit right away. However, I found this restaurant that had just been renovated and seemed like I could get in, so I decided to go in. The restaurant was very spacious, and the staff welcomed me in. At this point, the restaurant wasn't running smoothly yet, with customers calling out for staff, chopsticks not being available, wet towels not being provided, and orders being mixed up. Nevertheless, when a staff member finally came to my table, they asked me politely, "What can I do for you?" so I placed my order. They brought me water, then a wet towel, and later on, a complimentary appetizer. The items they were trying to serve were actually a good deal and great service, but because the restaurant was so large, had a wide variety of menu items, and the staff were all elderly and taking orders by memory, there were mistakes in taking orders and serving the dishes to the wrong tables, causing chaos. My pork kalbi set meal and kimchi stew set meal arrived relatively quickly, but at the table next to me, one person had finished their meal before the other person's kimchi stew arrived. Hopefully, they will improve with experience.

"Sundae" is a Korean sausage filled with glutinous rice and blood. I didn't know much about it except for that. I recently became curious about it and decided to visit a restaurant where it is served. Upon arrival, I found out that the restaurant was located next to the one I visited recently. They had a lunch set menu called "Sundae Guk Set" for 1000 yen (tax included). I asked if they had Makgeolli (Korean rice wine) in a glass, and they offered it to me for 300 yen (excluding tax). The set came with 6 side dishes, including rice cake, almond, seaweed salad, vegetable omelet, spinach namul, yuzu-flavored pickles, and kimchi with bean sprouts. I enjoyed the Makgeolli with the side dishes. Soon, the Sundae Guk, a hot soup with Sundae sausage, was served. The soup was spicy and flavorful with various ingredients. The Sundae sausage was smaller than I expected, but it was soft and tasty with a good balance of spices. I also tried the liver and other offal in the soup. Overall, the experience of trying Sundae for the first time was great. The restaurant also offers a special menu with handmade Sundae sausage for 2000 yen, but it requires a reservation one hour in advance. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant dining experience.

Korean husband...Sundae stew Japanese wife...Bossam lunch We visited the restaurant and the Sundae stew was delicious, and the side dishes were luxurious and tasty! It's recommended to eat at a restaurant a little outside of Koreatown. The ladies at the restaurant were kind and welcoming. From a Japanese-Korean couple who claim their territory in Tsuruhashi and Imazato.

Visited a Korean restaurant in Tsuruhashi (Hanmatsu) for the first time. It seems to have been renovated recently. Since it wasn't crowded, I decided to go in. Side dishes were served right away. They seem to offer refills (although I didn't get any). I ordered the Samgyetang set meal for 1400 yen (although the sign said 1300 yen). It's a non-smoking restaurant. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be served. It came in a sizzling hot iron pot. I transferred it to a separate plate because it was too hot. It consisted of ginseng chicken soup and chicken meat. They cooked it with rice, but it didn't have a congee-like texture. It seemed like there were a lot of local customers. It was very delicious, thank you very much.

I went because I wanted to eat Sundae Gukbap, which I always eat in Korea! They served a lot of side dishes and it was very delicious. They also have tatami seating, so it's kid-friendly. I want to go again.

Pork kalbi chum, both the taste and the meat were incredibly delicious! The portion size is quite large, so it's better for a larger group of people. The staff is helpful and can recommend various dishes.

Cheese Dakgalbi for 2 people costs 3500 yen, and it includes 8 small side dishes. When I ordered Makgeolli, it was served in a turtle-shaped container, which was surprising but cute! It was delicious! ❤️
