"I visited Menya Fukuhara in Ikuno Ward and tried their Rich Chicken Ramen (Salt) (2 servings) for 1050 yen. The broth is made from whole Yamato chicken and has a low viscosity salt soup that is refreshing and well-balanced with a tight seasoning that brings out the delicate umami of the chicken broth. The noodles are homemade, medium-thick straight noodles with a smooth and flavorful wheat taste and a firm texture. The chashu is made from pork shoulder loin and chicken breast, both tender and well-seasoned, allowing the flavors of each meat to shine."

Ordered the Rich Chicken Ramen (Soy Sauce). The chicken soup made with whole chicken is delicious, with a deep flavor. However, the soy sauce flavor is lacking in sharpness and could use a bit more. The noodles are a bit soft. Sorry, but it was a bit disappointing considering the high expectations. The amount of scallion oil is a bit excessive.

I tried the rich chicken soba with soy sauce and chashu yukke bowl. The ramen was consistently delicious with a flavorful soup that spread happiness with every bite. The topping of green onions added a nice aroma and flavor. The chashu was tender and tasty, without any unpleasant taste. The chashu and egg yolk mixed with sesame oil were a perfect combination. The staff also offered rice dishes while waiting for ramen, which was a nice touch. Overall, the food is always delicious whenever I visit this place.

On a regular weekday, near Kintetsu Imazato Station at lunchtime, you can walk straight south for about 3 minutes after exiting the ticket gate and turn right at the intersection to arrive. Purchase your ticket at the ticket machine inside the shop, then take a seat. The compact and clean interior has only an L-shaped counter that can seat 8 people. After a short wait, your bowl of ramen is served. The chicken-based broth mixed with seafood and soy sauce has a slight thickness to it, with a subtle flavor of dried fish, but the strong umami of the chicken is very delicious. The rich soy sauce adds a mild saltiness and a smooth sharpness to the chicken-seafood broth, providing a fine balance of rich flavors that never get boring. The tender pork shoulder has a good balance of fat and lean meat, with plenty of umami, and the moist chicken breast has a soft texture. The juicy komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) is crisp and makes a good palate cleanser, while the straight, flat, medium-thin noodles have a smooth surface and a supple texture. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the Shio ramen with rich chicken broth and chashu. It was a bit pricey at 1600 yen, but I was satisfied with being able to enjoy the taste of four types of chashu. The staff's service was also polite and good. I would like to go back to eat their Shio ramen again if I crave it.

The owner trained at the famous Tokyo restaurant "Menya Itto" before opening his own shop in the Sena area of Osaka in 2017. It is now one of the top shops in Osaka. I ordered the "Yamato Chicken Chashu Kombu Dipping Noodles (Soy Sauce)." The homemade noodles soaked in tender kombu water, paired with the rich soy sauce dipping broth filled with the flavor of local chicken. The flow from dipping to soup mixing with the kombu water at the end is also excellent. This dish is a masterpiece that condenses the essence of modern dipping noodles. The staff's service is truly top-notch. The interior of the shop is very clean and impressive.

Menya Fukuhara in Osaka, Imazato. The special dipping noodles with Yamato chicken and selected pork, and the pork rice bowl in Yukke style were both delicious. On hot days, nothing beats dipping noodles! The concentrated chicken dipping sauce was amazing, and the slimy texture from the kelp water made it disappear in seconds. The pork rice bowl in Yukke style was also very tasty!

This is a review of a popular ramen shop in Osaka called "Menya Fukuhara." They recently added more items to their menu, and the prices have also increased. I tried their cold noodles, specifically the "Chicken and Kombu Cold Noodles." The soup had a deep golden color with a cloudy appearance, and it was served with chicken oil on top. The dish was simple and visually appealing, with no additional toppings. The flavor was a mix of kombu and chicken, with a strong chicken aroma. The noodles were homemade and had a medium thickness, perfect for soaking up the thick soup. Overall, it was a top-notch cold noodle dish that I highly recommend trying, especially during the summer.

Yamato Chicken Konbu Water Dipping Noodles (Chicken + Soy Sauce 1200 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a chicken-based soy sauce flavor. The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles. The ingredients include pork shoulder loin meat and chicken breast meat chashu. The cold soup made from whole Yamato chickens is thickened with plenty of chicken oil, and the soy sauce aroma from several soy sauce breweries creates a fragrant and savory taste, conveying the condensed umami of chicken. The noodles are soaked in konbu water to give them a supple texture with a good bounce and firmness, rich in wheat flavor, and slippery on the surface. The large pork shoulder and medium-sized chicken breast meat each have a piece, allowing you to enjoy the texture and flavor of each meat very deliciously. You can finish by adding the remaining konbu water or diluting it with chicken soup. I had been checking out this popular ramen shop for a while, and decided to visit on a day when a typhoon was hitting. There was a wait of about 2-3 groups due to the shop being full, but the clear soup, chicken fat, and of course the noodles were all delicious. The chicken meat was especially tasty! The owner's hospitality was reserved but precise, and I could feel the gratitude towards the customers. I had a pleasant meal. Thank you for the delicious food!

I arrived at Menya Fukuhara at 12 o'clock and there were 4 people waiting ahead of me. I purchased my meal tickets first. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I entered the restaurant. There is a coin parking lot located on the west side of the restaurant. I was moved by the salt ramen I had before, so I decided to go with salt flavor again this time. My son also chose salt flavor. I was curious about the Big Chicken that I had heard about in reviews, so I decided to add it as a topping this time. I was debating between getting a full-size bowl or a half-size bowl, but I chose the half-size considering the portion. My order this time was: Flavorful Chicken Ramen with Seasoned Egg (Salt) - 1200 yen, Half-size Big Chicken - 500 yen, Special Flavorful Chicken Ramen (Salt) - 1500 yen. The aroma oil and soup were excellent. The chicken flavor was rich and yet light and elegant. It was just the taste I like! The chashu was made from pork shoulder loin and chicken breast. The moist and tender texture and flavor of the chicken breast were amazing. The Big Chicken had a crispy skin and a chewy texture, and it was delicious. Even though it was a half-size, it was quite filling and the perfect size for me personally. The seasoned egg had a strong flavor, but the seasoning was also wonderful. Overall, it was a very satisfying bowl of ramen!

Since this restaurant often appears in the media, I thought there would be a long wait, so I arrived 10 minutes before opening. There were already about 5 people in line, but the staff handled customers well, so I was able to order and find my seat relatively smoothly. I ordered the Special Rich Chicken Salt Ramen. The noodles were not curly, which was good. The soup was incredibly delicious with a strong salt flavor! But most of all, the chicken and pork chashu were the best. Since it was a special, there were four different types included, and all of them were delicious and matched the soup well. If I had to be picky, I would say that I prefer the noodles a bit firmer, but that's just my personal preference. The price is a bit high, but it seemed like a shop that is particular about its ingredients, so I guess it can't be helped. The staff were also friendly, and I was able to leave in a very good mood. Thank you for the meal.

Long time no post. I was slacking off! lol Recommended by a friend, I traveled to Osaka for a day. The location was Imazato. It's near Tsuruhashi, where I often stay! The price was 850 yen, and compared to Tokyo ramen, it's definitely cheaper!!! Yet, the soup, chashu, and noodles all had a luxurious feel. Especially the chashu!!!! Thick meat but elegant. I must go again when I come back to Osaka!

This is also my first visit in a long time! The last time I came was probably during the year-end business last year. It's quite close, but I've been neglecting it in favor of other ramen shops! I arrived at 5:45 pm, there was no wait, and no one entered the store until I left. Today, the crowd seems smaller. Before entering, I confirmed whether consecutive eating was allowed. Here, if you want to order a second bowl after finishing the first, you need to line up at the end of the line outside if there are people waiting. I purchased a ticket from the vending machine and first bought the "Yamato Chicken and Kombu Water Dipping Noodles". This time, I came with a junior colleague from work, and as we talked about ramen and card games, the noodles arrived. The beautiful medium-thick flat straight noodles and clear golden soup looked stunning. I took a sip of the noodles... The kombu water had a thick texture, and the faint scent of kombu mixed with the smell of wheat, creating a very nice flavor. The dipping sauce was rich in chicken umami, creating a mellow and deep taste, and the high-quality salt seasoning added a sharp saltiness that elevated the deliciousness of the dipping sauce even further. Of course, the chashu was also excellent, with the pork shoulder loin chashu having a robust and satisfying texture, and the chicken chashu being firm and having a good bite. The dipping sauce gradually gained the scent and thickness of kombu, and the changing mouthfeel and flavor were enjoyable. It was a very delicious bowl! Next, for the second bowl, I had the summer limited menu item of cold noodles with only soup, with a simple and clean appearance that exemplified the beauty of subtraction. I took a sip of the soup... It was cold, thick, and had a good mouthfeel, with a strong chicken umami flavor! The taste was rich and very delicious! The noodles were the same medium-thick flat straight noodles as the dipping noodles, with a firm texture and a strong wheat aroma. They were slippery and delicious, with an excellent match with the soup. Even though it was the second bowl, I could eat it up quickly. It was the perfect cold noodles for summer. As always, the service from the staff was good, and I truly think it's a great restaurant where you can enjoy your meal comfortably.

Tabelog 3.75 Ramen is the best, isn't it??? This shop is famous for its soup made only with water and chicken. I ordered the Yamato chicken chashu konbu water ramen for 1750 yen. It was so delicious! You definitely have to try it at least once.

I was invited by a friend and went there for the first time. I heard that the Shio Ramen with Fragrant Chicken was recommended, so I ordered that. The chashu and soup were especially delicious, and it was by far the best salt ramen I've ever had. The Chashu Fragrant Chicken Ramen that my friend was eating looked delicious, so I want to go back again.

Menya Fukuhara Osaka Imazato special aromatic chicken soba salt I tried to come here before, but mistakenly ended up at Chukasoba Fukuhara on Shuntoku-dori. I finally made a comeback this time. It's my first time in this area, so I followed my iPhone's navigation and ended up at Chukasoba Fukuhara by mistake. I'm glad I was able to come back for revenge this time. ☺️

This time, I tried the pork bone soy sauce ramen, also known as "kareshi ramen," which you can't find anywhere else! Located in Imazato, Osaka, "Menya Fuku Hara" is a must-visit. Even though it's not a ramen shop specializing in kareshi ramen, the quality is seriously amazing. The menu item is called "Noumiku Tonkotsu," and even though they don't advertise it as kareshi, I'll introduce it as such! It has the rich umami of pork bone marrow typical of kareshi, complemented by the strong soy sauce flavor that comes to the forefront. It's a taste that everyone loves. The homemade noodles are incredibly delicious, absorbing the soup perfectly. The tender chashu pork is flavorful and substantial. The spinach is fresh and crunchy, not frozen, adding to the overall experience. The homemade condiments include soy sauce-marinated garlic, a type of chili paste, and some kind of vinegar, which all go well together. It was just too delicious! I want to eat it again! And it's only 1000 yen, which is so cheap. Thank you for the meal!

I chose soy sauce ramen instead of the famous salt ramen so that I can compare it with other ramen shops. Both salt and soy sauce ramen use the same broth, so customers order based on their preference. Surprisingly, there are about the same number of orders for both salt and soy sauce ramen. The Char Siu Shoyu Ramen was priced at ¥1600. I might like the noodles here more than any other ramen shop. The broth was okay, nothing particularly impressive. The chicken Char Siu was served in different cuts, but again, nothing stood out. I'm thinking of trying the salt ramen next time! It's true that everyone's preferences are really different.

I found out about the anniversary limited menu on Instagram and decided to give it a try. I called ahead to make a reservation and was able to get in without much of a wait, which was lucky. The anniversary limited menu only had tsukemen, so I didn't hesitate to order it. When I sat down, the atmosphere was lively, but the air conditioning was a bit weak due to the strong wind. The tsukemen arrived and it looked divine. The four slices of chashu were each from different parts, showing great attention to detail. The noodles were slightly thick and a bit soft. The soup was a rich and mild chicken-based seafood broth, with no unpleasant smell. It was delicious. The soup refills seemed to require an extra charge, but the various flavors blended together beautifully and I ended up drinking it all. The only downside was that the chopsticks were a bit slippery, making it a bit challenging to grab the noodles. The tsukemen came with wooden chopsticks, which was a nice touch. I finished the 300g of noodles in no time because it was so tasty. I will definitely try their regular menu next time.

In Osaka City, Ikuno Ward, there is a highly popular restaurant called "Menya Fukuhara" located about a 5-minute walk from Ikuno Station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line and Nara Line. It is a regular at the "Tabelog Ramen WEST Top 100 Restaurants" list. I arrived around 1:50 PM, just before the lunch rush. I purchased the "Yamato Chicken Tamago Konbu Mizutsuke Soba" (1350 yen including tax) from the ticket machine on the right side upon entering. The appearance is simple with clear chicken soup as the dipping sauce, without any toppings. The soup was incredibly delicious, with a rich and smooth chicken flavor. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles, soaked in konbu water, enhancing the wheaty taste. The seasoned egg and both the chicken and pork chashu were of high quality. The customer service was excellent, and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
