I made a sudden visit to this restaurant on Sunday afternoon, when the state of emergency was declared on 8/1. I have used the Tenma branch countless times for solo drinking. The Seven Lucky Gods offer the first beer (Super Dry) for only 100 yen, which is quite cheap. Even during regular times, it is priced at 308 yen, so I am happy with the lower price. Of course, Honchan's kushikatsu has a wide variety, starting from 100 yen per skewer, making it very cost-effective and wonderful. Although it seems to have run out, the chestnut oden was incredibly delicious! Personally, the standout dish for me was the oden tendon (3 pieces for 350 yen). It was so tender and went perfectly with alcohol. Being located in a station building, it is undoubtedly a restaurant that can become a friend of salarymen! Due to the situation with COVID-19, the operating hours are unclear, but it is conveniently located, so if you are drinking in the station building, try using it for your first or second round!

I remember it was located on the B2 floor of Osaka Dai San Building. Osaka is connected in various ways underground, making it more confusing than Tokyo underground. This place is a recommended kushikatsu restaurant by my colleague. It's great that it's non-smoking inside (e-cigarettes are okay). The kushikatsu is very delicious, and I could easily eat as many skewers as I wanted. The 100 yen beer for the first glass is also much appreciated!

I love the service at this place where the first beer is only 100 yen. I didn't notice last time, but they also offer a large bottle of beer for 550 yen, which is a great deal. The skewers are still delicious as always. It seems to be a popular spot, so I'll have to see if I can get a table next time. They also close at 3:30, so I'll keep that in mind for my next visit.

This is the first stop for day drinking this time. My brother-in-law made a reservation for us. Isn't it unusual for places to take reservations for day drinking? It's a kushikatsu restaurant. They also serve lunch. The first drink here was only 110 yen. The kushikatsu was the type you dip in sauce, not the kind you pour sauce over. The taste was so-so. We have more stops planned, so we kept it moderate.

Honestly, Osaka is amazing. I came to the underground mall in the third building and it feels like the New Shinbashi Building, with a nostalgic Showa era vibe. The okonomiyaki melts in your mouth, the sashimi is large and fresh, and the kushikatsu has a crispy outer layer. The mini curry at the end is dangerously good, with a mix of sourness, spiciness, and richness that goes beyond the boundaries of curry.

Reasonably priced, we visited the Seven Lucky Gods restaurant in a building for a pre-drinks gathering with just two people. Intrigued by the first drink priced at ¥110, we entered the restaurant. We started with the famous three pieces of Doteyaki from Temma for ¥495. The mochi, sweet and tender from being stewed, was perfect with beer! Next, we had a platter of seven assorted skewers for ¥1,400. They were freshly fried and crispy. The shrimp was especially thick and delicious! We also had a sashimi platter of three different kinds for ¥539. Each piece was delicious and a classic choice. Since it was just a pre-drinks gathering this time, we kept it light and ended our meal. However, we wanted to eat more skewers next time. We will definitely come back for a second gathering! Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about this place for a while, so I decided to go on the last day of Golden Week. I was happy to find out that the first drink was only 100 yen, so I ordered a draft beer which turned out to be Super Dry. It was a nice surprise, although the foam was a bit rough and metallic tasting. The skewers were a bit small, but crispy and the oil was light, which was really good. Especially the pickled ginger was well-prepared with a delicate cut, showing how meticulous the work was. Throughout my meal, I couldn't help but notice the tall manager-like staff member being very close to a female staff member, which made me think they had a nice relationship. They were chatting happily the whole time, and it made me realize that this is also a way of working in this industry. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the famous kushikatsu restaurant, Tenma Shichifukujin Osaka Eki-mae Dai 3 Biru-ten, where the first beer costs only 100 yen. I tried various kushikatsu skewers and they were all delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is small and noisy, but it's a great place for a casual drink. Overall, I had a good time there.

Located in Osaka Station Front Building 3 B2. Although it has a rating of 3.15 on Tabelog, the main branch in Temma has a rating of 3.49. I stopped by on a Sunday evening when I was feeling a bit peckish. The highlight is definitely the first drink for 110 yen, such as draft beer or highball. The skewers range from 110 to 440 yen, with most around 275 yen, making it quite affordable for those who don't drink or eat much (lol). The sauce is now served in a container, perhaps due to the influence of the pandemic and social media. The light and refreshing sauce is great even when poured generously. I ended up eating more than I expected... Since there are few meal options, it might be a good choice for a pre-drink or second round. Thank you for the meal.

Kushikatsu Tenma Shichifukujin (Osaka Station Front Building 3, Kita-ku, Osaka) Today, I found myself in front of Osaka Station Front Building once again. As I walked past Building 4 and Building 3, I was drawn to a kushikatsu restaurant called "Shichifukujin." Looking at the menu, I noticed they had a "Chicken Karaage Set." I decided to go inside and take another look at the menu. The options included a homemade beef tendon bowl, a kushikatsu sauce bowl, both priced at 700 yen, and the karaage at 750 yen. I decided to go with the Chicken Karaage Set to make it easier to handle the change. After a while, two small side dishes were served. One was a deep-fried red wiener sausage, and the other was a dashimaki tamago with mentaiko. Both were delicious and quite filling. The main dish included not only karaage, but also tamago fry and croquette. Everything was freshly fried and of high quality, typical of a kushikatsu restaurant. It was a delight to be able to try a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. After having takoyaki, we visited a second restaurant. We had spicy cucumber and kushikatsu, which included 3 pieces of beef katsu, onion, shishito pepper, and mozzarella cheese, along with two draft beers for a total of 1199 yen! The first draft beer was only 100 yen, and from the second one onwards, it was 280 yen each. The kushikatsu tasted fairly average!

It's easy for one person to get in. I wanted to eat kushikatsu so I decided to go in. The restaurant was a bit crowded so it took a little time, but I enjoyed the food. The first drink was only 100 yen, so even if you eat a lot and have three drinks, it's still less than 3000 yen.

I was rejected by the restaurant I really wanted to go to, so I couldn't bear the hunger anymore and ended up entering a random restaurant nearby. I ordered the specialty menu and a draft beer. The first draft beer was 110 yen, and from the second one onwards, it was 308 yen. I ordered a platter of 7 kinds of skewered cutlets, but to my surprise, it came with 9 pieces instead of 7, including 3 beef cutlets. I was happy about that. Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the sauce came in plastic containers for hygiene purposes. The grilled pork offal in the doteyaki was tough and disappointing. The assorted oden was also a letdown as the broth was not tasty and the ingredients seemed undercooked. Overall, the dishes were too spicy and not satisfying.

Located on the B2F of Osaka Station Front Building No. 3, "Kushikatsu Temma Shichifukujin Osaka Station Front Building Store" offers counter and table seating. The first drink, limited to draft beer, highballs, sours, and glass wine, is only 110 yen, which is impressive for an izakaya near the station. The second and subsequent draft beers are served in proper beer mugs for a reasonable 308 yen. The main menu consists of kushikatsu, oden, and doteyaki, with a decent selection of seafood and izakaya dishes. The kushikatsu range from 110 yen to 385 yen, making them affordable, but it's a shame that the sauce is not the traditional thick dipping type. The crispy frying style makes you crave the traditional sauce even more. The staff's service can be a bit cool, which is a downside, but enjoying dishes like "Cheese Omelette with Mentaiko Mayo," "Oden," and "Large Portion! Potato Fries," I had a satisfying meal for 1,400 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

Located inside the Osaka Station Building, this place is filled with an incredible amount of dining options. From the first building to the fourth building, with spots on the first and second basement floors. There are large chain restaurants as well as smaller ones. I was planning to go to the Temma main store, but happened to come across this place and decided to visit. The interior has counter seats and table seats. It's not very spacious, but there is plenty of room at the counter. I started with a draft beer, Super Dry (first glass for 100 yen). It was good. The regular price is also cheap (280 yen). For snacks, I ordered a mixed skewer set (7 skewers for 1300 yen), with 2 each of beef and pork. They were crispy and delicious. The sauce was not for dipping, but for pouring. I also had some tendon skewers (3 skewers for 350 yen), which were sweet and tasty. The fried daikon (1 piece for 390 yen) was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I also had a melon soda (390 yen) with lots of lemon. I ordered another draft beer. I wanted to stay longer, but we had to leave. We spent about 40 minutes there (5 drinks for 2 people). The only staff member was fine, but the others were a bit sketchy. They ignored families coming in (laughs) even when they were being called right in front of them. They never said "welcome" once (laughs) and threw items delivered to the counter next to ours (laughs). It was a shame because the food was delicious. I wonder if it's well-known locally that it's this empty? Oh, I don't eat cabbage so it was fine that it wasn't served.

A few minutes' walk from Higashi Umeda Station and Kitashinchi Station. Enjoy a casual drink at the Osaka Station Building No. 2 underground. There are several Seven Lucky Gods locations in Osaka Station Building No. 〇, so feel free to choose. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats and table seats. I tried the draft beer and 5 skewers: tulip, lotus root, kiss, red ginger. The skewers were a bit oily but on the sweeter side, with a unique Seven Lucky Gods flavor that I personally quite liked. The service was quick, making it easy to enjoy a quick drink and meal. The total cost for this was 600 yen, making it very affordable for a casual drink.

I knew that the Seven Lucky Gods had opened in Osaka Station Front Building No. 3, but I visited for the first time. The Seven Lucky Gods in Osaka Station Front Building No. 2 are related, but currently the shops are closed at lunchtime and there are signs directing customers to the No. 3 building. The Seven Lucky Gods in Osaka Station Front Building No. 4 are completely different. So confusing! I ordered the "Very Satisfied! Seven Lucky Gods Curry (880 yen)" and it was delicious. The curry was very fruity and sweet, which was surprising. The fried items included eggplant, onion, cream croquette, beef tendon, sausage (probably chorizo), octopus legs, and chicken breast, but no shrimp. The composition was different from what was written on the menu for the skewers. I opted for extra rice, so there was a lot of food. A salad was served before the meal. It was a bit disappointing, but still delicious. Thank you for the meal. ☀️

It's a hit if you had to choose between hit or miss. It's delicious, reasonably priced, and has no faults, but it's just so average that it's not really outstanding. If asked if I would go again, I would say yes. It's kind of like, it's expensive for what it is, but there's nothing particularly special about it. But I can still recommend it.

The first drink is 100 yen and the skewers are around 250 yen each, so you can eat quite a bit and it's delicious. The interior is noisy and crowded, so if that bothers you, it's best to avoid it.

Cost performance is good. The taste is average. Personally, I was happy that they had black beer. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The coating on the skewers is rough, close to a homemade taste. There were many salarymen after work.
