This is my first time at Sakon in Izumisano. I've known about it for about 20 years, but never had the chance to go until now. They offer all-you-can-eat meat, salad, soup, ramen, udon, and sweets for a great price. The staff is very friendly and the cost performance is excellent.

And what's more, a robot delivers it to you! I was amazed by this! Although there was no explanation, so I was surprised when the robot came. Maybe they have been using it for a long time and it's normal now? Maybe because of the Go To campaign, everything tasted delicious, and I felt like I want to go there again even though I had been away from Sakon for a while!

There is a restaurant called Viking Sakon that offers all-you-can-eat meat during lunch time, which seems like a great deal. After finishing work in the morning, I decided to stop by on my way back to the office. The all-you-can-eat used to be 1000 yen, but it seems like they have slightly increased the price. However, the Regular Course for 1380 yen including sushi, harami, and beef shoulder is still a great deal. I ordered the sushi and harami from the touch panel menu and then headed to the buffet corner to pick up more meat. The buffet corner was like a dream come true with a variety of meat, salads, side dishes, ice cream, soups, noodles, and even curry. The meat I brought back was decent, with the harami being particularly delicious. The shoulder beef was a bit fatty, but still good with rice. The Akasen in the buffet corner was incredibly tasty. I also recommend warming up the fried chicken on the grill before eating it. After enjoying ramen, curry rice, and soft serve ice cream, I was completely stuffed and couldn't move.

It's convenient for me that this restaurant is cheap because I'm treating my daughter and her family. I personally find pork more delicious than beef at this place. You can also have ice cream for dessert while enjoying pork udon and ramen. There is an option for sushi at an additional cost, but we decided not to go for it. We ate pork, salad, and ice cream until we were full. Thank you for the meal.

Sakon was getting takeout!! The other day, as I was driving to McDonald's, I saw a big tent set up in Sakon's parking lot with a sign that said "bento boxes". Curious, I couldn't help but go in and check it out. Since they were selling outside, I thought the risk of COVID-19 infection would be low. I bought the salted tongue bento this time, which was priced at 500 yen. There are about 6 types of bento boxes available, but I'd like to try the high-end ones priced at 1500 to 3000 yen or more (limited quantity). They also offer BBQ sets and other options, which seem perfect for dinner too!

The evening course offers three options: Light Course - $1,800, Regular Course - $2,280, Premium Course - $2,980. It had been over 10 years since I last visited. I filled out a paper to order the meat, which was a new experience for me. The roast beef was so-so, but tasted delicious when cooked. The large shrimp fry seemed more like a bento size and was a bit disappointing. The fluffy pancakes were small and similar to Yamazaki's pancakes, but tasted good with ice cream topping. However, maybe because it was a weekday night after the spring break, there were only about two groups of customers. Well, it's better to have fewer people when going to get meat, so it's fine. In the end, I was the only one left. Previously, they had harami at night, so I mainly ate harami. It was served from a large plate, but there was quite a bit of dripping, maybe the defrosting wasn't done properly. Well, the taste of harami was decently good for me. I also had curry, dessert, and various other dishes, and I was full. Oh, by the way, to commemorate the renovation, I got to eat beef stew and some good meat for free. It was nice.

Wait, a buffet for 1000 yen?! Even on weekends and holidays?! When did this happen?! I remember it used to be around 1280 yen for lunch. And it was even more expensive on weekends... I decided to go and visit today. I visited around 14:00, and there were three groups waiting. I remember feeling lonely when I visited on a weekday before because we were the only customers in the spacious store. However, this time it was full! Maybe because it's Sunday? Or maybe because of the cherry blossom viewers at the nearby Suehiro Park? The interior of the store has been nicely renovated to look like private rooms. The lunch buffet is now 1050 yen regardless of weekday or weekend. However, they have removed sushi, ramen, udon, and side dishes that were available before. Now, they offer various meats, curry, rice, miso soup, salads, thick rolled omelet, and desserts like almond jelly and warabi mochi. Ice cream is all-you-can-eat, and they also have hot coffee. The store was almost full, and there was a lot of smoke inside. The meat may not be delicious, but for 1000 yen, it's acceptable. My daughter enjoys it because she can eat plenty without worrying about the price. It's not recommended for those looking for delicious meat, but for those who want to eat a lot, it's a good choice. They also have three different price levels for dinner.
