I tried the Brown Sugar Oolong! It's delicious with extra sweetness and less ice. It has the aroma of Oolong tea and the richness of brown sugar! I really like it! It's a great option when you're not in the mood for coffee. Yummy! I also tried the limited edition Peach Milk, and it's also very delicious! I might like it more than Starbucks' peach drink. Haha, I thought it was just a tapioca drink, but you can also get it without tapioca, which is great! I will definitely come back for more. ◎

I heard that Goncha's peach menu is delicious, and it really is! There are three types: Milk Tea, Tea Aid, and Frozen, all featuring the fresh and juicy taste of peaches. The "Gyugyutto Peach" is back this year, allowing you to enjoy the deliciousness of peaches. The dessert tea and tea aid have a luxurious taste, with jasmine green tea as the base providing a refreshing and elegant aroma. The combination of white peach sauce, yellow peach sauce, and peach jelly creates a harmonious taste. The texture of the peach jelly is addictive. The peach shaved ice was also very delicious. The frozen tea was milky and refreshing. I added milk foam to make it a dessert, and it was like shaved ice, which I love. This time, I went to the Link's Umeda store, which offers takeout only, and a cafe where you can dine in. It was crowded, but I chose to dine in at the cafe.

Today's dessert is from Gong Cha LINKSMARCHE Eat&Walk store in Umeda, Osaka. I'm not sure if you can call it a dessert, but it had a bit of alcohol in it, so it helped wake me up. I'm not good with alcohol, so I'm happy with sweets. I had the "Squishy Peach Frozen Tea" (620 yen), which is perfect for this hot weather. The store doesn't have seating, so I had to stand while enjoying my drink. I added some tapioca pearls (80 yen) as a topping, which added a nice touch to the vibrant color of the drink. The frozen tea and plenty of peaches were refreshing, although it gave me a bit of a brain freeze. The chewy tapioca pearls and the refreshing sweetness of the peaches were fantastic. The store is located at 1-1 Ofukacho, Kita-ku, Osaka, in the LINKSMARCHE Eat&Walk B1F. Tel: 06-6147-6176.

I went to Yodobashi Camera and decided to stop by this shop for some sweets on my way back from shopping. I ordered the limited edition "Strawberry Almond Milk Tea" with reduced sweetness and ice. When it was served, it wasn't very cold at first, but it got colder as I stirred it. Despite being not too sweet, it was still quite sweet. The strawberry aroma and almond texture blended well together. Even though I'm an old man, it's nice to have a drink like this once in a while. Thank you for the meal.

◆Black Sugar Milk Oolong Tea with Pearls Located on the basement floor of LINKS Umeda, there is a Gong Cha. I tried the classic "Black Sugar Milk Oolong Tea" with pearls (tapioca). I chose the normal sweetness level. When it's normal, it's quite sweet, but with ice, it was just right as the ice melts.

On Sunday night, I casually ordered from my mobile. I got a black tea with tapioca topping, size S. I've loved Gong Cha since before coming to Japan, but now it seems to be everywhere. I don't have as many opportunities to pay at least 550 yen to drink it anymore, haha. After ordering on my mobile, I waited for 10-15 minutes with no update. When I asked the staff, it turns out they had been ready for quite a while, but were waiting for customers to come on their own...! Yes, shocking haha. Everyone else was waiting in front of the store, but they didn't say a word. I was a bit surprised by the response of the part-time female staff, but as always, it was delicious.

Today's choice was here. After shopping at LINKS Umeda, I took a break! Starbucks was packed with people due to their local limited edition products, so I went to Gong Cha next door instead. Tapioca seems to be their specialty, but I ordered Earl Grey tea. It was my first time, so I didn't understand the system at first, but it seems you can choose the sweetness level. You can also choose toppings and whether you want ice or not. I went for zero sweetness, no toppings, and ice. Just plain Earl Grey tea! It had a strong flavor and tasted good. However, I couldn't help but think paying 430 yen for Earl Grey tea was a bit much. It's only 100 yen at convenience stores. But still, it's nice to have a place to take a break in the underground shopping area of Umeda!

Visited in February 2021. Went shopping in Umeda on this day. After getting clothes for my partner at LINKS UMEDA, we went for my partner's favorite, tapioca drinks! When it comes to tapioca drinks, Gong Cha is the go-to. However, there are so many Gong Cha stores popping up lately, right? In Umeda alone, there are a total of 4 Gong Cha stores, including two at LINKS UMEDA. We visited the one on the B1F floor called "Gong Cha LINKS MARCHE Eat&Walk Store" this time. I got my favorite, lightly sweetened Oolong Milk Tea. It has a refreshing taste compared to Earl Grey Milk Tea made with black tea, but the harmony of Oolong tea and milk is irresistible! Now, heading back to the parking lot. Sip, slurp (*´∀`) Delicious! The chewy tapioca pearls are larger than those at other tapioca drink stores, providing a satisfying chew. Lately, influenced by my partner, I've been drinking tapioca drinks more often, and Gong Cha's tea itself is just so delicious! However, tapioca pearls are high in calories and mostly made of carbohydrates, so it's something to be cautious about for those watching their weight. Actually, I've noticed a slight weight gain recently, could it be because of this? Well, moderation is key. It might be a good idea to cut back on frequent tapioca tea consumption (;¬_¬) Anyway, it was very delicious. Thank you.

I finally tried that famous tapioca milk tea! I remember last year, there was a crazy long line... I ended up giving up (laughs). So, I was a bit nervous when I finally got to try it! They had seating inside, but I decided to get it to go! It was sweet and delicious. The tapioca pearls were so chewy and yummy! I finished every single one! I think next time I'll try something other than tapioca milk tea! It was a fun experience! I definitely want to go back again!

Why would you drink an expensive milk tea at a place where you can drink alcohol for free? The other day, the hairdresser at the beauty salon I went to was a handsome 38-year-old man who looked like NEWS' Keiichiro Koyama. He had just moved to Osaka and was exploring different restaurants. He recommended a fantastic yakisoba bread place near Links. So, I decided to go there. But when I arrived, there were about 30 people waiting in line. The person in front of me was told by the staff that there was a possibility of running out of bread even if it was his turn. So, I gave up. My dear friend, today I have a date with a cute girl from work in Umeda. In the end, it's still about going out to drink. I had some time to spare before meeting the cute girl, and I thought maybe I could have a beer, but she said we were going to play VR games, so I thought it would be risky to drink. Lately, maybe because of my age, my sense of balance is weak. So, I ended up drinking milk tea. Right in front of me was a wasshoi dancer. I wonder if the wasshoi dancer is staking out from outside the restaurant. Oh, it's time to meet the lady. The milk tea was delicious. It seems like the milk tea boom in Osaka has passed. In Nagoya, there used to be long lines in the summer, but I wonder how it is now. Gong Cha was popular in Taiwan, but now it's not as crowded, so I'm glad I could drink it. Thank you for the treat.

Anyway, it's so sweet! I saw news that a popular shop is empty during the pandemic, so I came right away! It's true that you can buy quickly! I ordered a black sugar-based drink, and there is black sugar at the bottom, so the first sip is incredibly sweet. To be honest, I didn't really feel much of a difference compared to other shops.

Gong Cha has opened a new store where you no longer need to wait in long lines. This store is a take-out only shop with a standing counter. The trash can is located in front of the register. I tried the Frouts Vinegar pomegranate (strawberry + konjac jelly) with milk topping and tapioca.

I visited the shop on a regular day at LINKS MARCHE Eat & Walk and bought black sugar milk oolong tea. It was quite sweet, but the chewy tapioca pearls were plentiful and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Before the boom, I already liked tapioca milk tea, so when I searched online for tapioca drink shops, I often saw people recommending Gong Cha, so I decided that I would definitely try it if I had the chance to go to Umeda. I went on a Sunday evening, and there was always a line of about 15 people in front of the register. However, the line for the register and the line for receiving the products were separated, and the staff were all very efficient, so I only had to wait about 5 minutes at each station. I ordered the classic black milk tea (iced, extra sweet, less ice) with pearl (tapioca) topping. The menu had a wide variety of drinks, and you could add up to 3 toppings out of 6 options, including not only tapioca but also nata de coco, milk foam, and grass jelly. It was amazing how you could customize your drink in so many different ways. What impressed me was that while many shops sell drinks that already have tapioca in them, Gong Cha treats tapioca as just one of the topping choices. I thought that with the appeal of the drinks themselves and the variety of customization options, Gong Cha would continue to thrive even after the tapioca boom fades. The tapioca milk tea itself was chewy and delicious. I have a sweet tooth, so I ordered extra sweetness, but I thought maybe I should have ordered a normal level of sweetness to better enjoy the taste of the tea itself. I now want to try other toppings and different drinks. I will definitely be visiting often in the future.

Tapioca boom. Is it starting to calm down now? I thought so, but the most crowded tapioca shop still seems to be Gong Cha. I'm not a big fan of waiting in line, so even though there are tapioca shops popping up all over Umeda, I hadn't been to Gong Cha there yet. But. I finally went. I went to Gong Cha in Umeda. And I was able to get my drink right away without waiting (^-^)v. It's cold, so I got a hot drink. It may not look as appealing when it's hot, but that's okay, as long as it tastes good. I ordered the following: Milk Foam Jasmine Green Tea with Grass Jelly in a medium size. It's one of Gong Cha's recommended menu items. The jasmine-scented green tea with sweet and salty milk foam is light and fluffy. I also added grass jelly and pearls (tapioca). The grass jelly is smooth and delicious! Gong Cha's tapioca is chewy! Since it's green tea-based, it's refreshing and easy to drink. You can adjust the sweetness, so I asked for less sugar. It's been a while since I had one, but the tea itself is delicious. I want to go back for a drink every now and then. You can get Gong Cha without waiting in line at this location: the shop in the basement of Links Umeda. There are two Gong Cha shops in Links Umeda, on the 4th floor and the basement, but if you're getting takeout, the basement shop is recommended. Because you can get your drink without waiting in line (o^^o). *Of course, it depends on the time of day.

Normal is too sweet, so I always order it without sweetness. The hot drinks are also delicious. I personally prefer cafe au lait, so I like drinks with a rich and deep flavor, but my husband, who doesn't like heavy flavors, enjoys the drinks here. Every drink I've tried here has been pretty tasty. After paying at the register, you have to line up again to pick up your drink. The seating area is small and basic, and it can get crowded. Kids also want it, so I ordered tapioca on the side! There are no spoons. Thank you for the meal!

This is a well-known shop originating from Taiwan. As a fan of Taiwan, I had been curious about it, but I don't like milk tea and the local shops always have long lines, so I had never visited before. When I happened to be in Osaka, I passed by this place and it was empty, so I decided to stop by. It is located on the basement floor of LINK'S MARCHE Eat & Walk in Umeda. While milk tea is the classic choice, I don't like adding milk, lemon, sugar, etc. to my tea, so I ordered Alishan Oolong Tea without sugar, with pearls as toppings. When I actually tried it, I realized that the authentic tapioca is incredibly delicious. It's soft yet chewy, with a subtle sweetness that was just perfect. I felt like I had been missing out on what real tapioca is supposed to be. If I have the chance to go again, I would like to try combining mango juice with tapioca.

I visited Gong Cha at LINKS MARCHE eat&walk in Osaka and tried their Oolong Milk Tea with pearls. It was located in a new facility called "Delicious Alley" in the basement of Yodobashi Camera near Osaka Station. There was a line, but I was able to order in about 2 minutes and receive my drink in about 5 minutes. The Oolong Milk Tea with pearls was a combination of tapioca milk tea with oolong tea added. The oolong tea gave it a refreshing taste without being too sweet, making it a good choice for those who don't like overly sweet drinks.

"This is a must-try drink for apple lovers." That's what I thought when I tried the Apple Tea tapioca drink at this recently opened store the other day. I was aware that 'Gong Cha' already had several stores in Osaka, but I had never been able to wait in the long lines before, so this was my first time trying it at this particular store. With tapioca drink stores popping up everywhere, it's becoming harder to distinguish between them as the quality is generally high. That's why lately I've been trying out unique or limited-time drinks that I haven't seen elsewhere. The one I tried this time was the winter limited edition drink called "Cinnamon Apple Tea Aid." It's a black tea with apple sauce and tapioca, topped with cinnamon-flavored syrup. The balance between the quality of the black tea itself, the enjoyable texture of the apple, and the perfect pairing with the spicy cinnamon flavor was impressive. Although it doesn't contain alcohol, the taste reminded me of hot wine. I later found out from a friend that the other winter limited edition drink, "Salted Caramel Milk Tea," has been sold every year for the past 2-3 years, but the "Cinnamon Apple Tea Aid" that I tried this time is a new addition this year. While it's a limited-time offer, I think there aren't many tapioca drink stores that specialize in apple tea, so apple lovers like me, as well as those who haven't tried it yet, should definitely give it a try. By the way, in the commercial facility 'RINKS Umeda' where this store is located, in addition to the "Gong Cha RINKS MARCHE Eat&WALK store" on the basement 1st floor that I visited this time, there is also a "Gong Cha RINKS UMEDA store" on the 4th floor. I haven't visited it myself, but I heard that while the basement 1st floor store is a takeout-only shop, the 4th-floor store has a large eat-in space. I would recommend the upper store for those who want to leisurely enjoy Taiwanese tea.

The black sugar milk roasted soybean powder drink was too sweet to finish. The powdery texture of the soybean lingered in my mouth, making it slightly unpleasant to drink.
