I was looking for a chocolate cake at Takashimaya, and ended up purchasing one at Vitamail. There were several options for chocolate cakes, so I had a hard time choosing! Vitamail offers rich and not too sweet chocolate cakes that are delicious! Although I didn't buy it this time, I also like their crispy and tasty shortbread cookies.

I received a treat (ノ∀`)アチャー I'm not a fan of cakes with fruits because they upset my stomach, so I chose the Jule au Cafe Chocolat instead. It was delicious, like tiramisu! Thank you for your follow, likes, and comments. Find me on Instagram @kanae.0402 and @kanae.0402sub for more food adventures. Wishing for wonderful connections with all of you ( * ॑꒳ ॑*). Thank you and nice to meet you! *⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝*

I went to Takashimaya to buy some souvenirs, and on the way back in the car, I decided to get some sweets. I bought a Belge Eclair and a Chou Cream from VITALMAR. The chocolate from VITALMAR is really delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of bitterness. The custard in the Chou Cream is rich and perfectly sweet. The Chou Cream is coated with chocolate and the cream inside is well balanced in sweetness. Everything was really delicious!

I went to Takashimaya to see Christmas cakes, and the pastry section was crowded from 4 pm to 5 pm! Every shop had a lot of orders, with people lining up. In the Vitameal section, aside from the usual cakes, there was a decoration section. I tried the Mirah (including tax, 3672 yen), which had a bright red raspberry mirror with a pink mousse that was not too sweet and had a refreshing taste. The chocolate tart base was thick, typical of Vitameal. I went on the evening of the 24th, and some varieties were already sold out. It seems that Mirah is not a set product from the beginning. They have a system to replenish with alternative products when sold out. It's a bit complicated, but it was a delicious Christmas cake.

"Vitamer", a purveyor to the Belgian royal family. My favorite baked good from there is the Macadamia Chocolat. I am thrilled whenever I receive it at work! A box of these costs close to 5000 yen. There are also packages with 5 pieces, which make it easier to give as a gift. I can confidently recommend it as "delicious". The crispy cookie dough with nuts, generously topped with chocolate. You can fully enjoy the luxurious chocolate flavor. The balance of all the elements is perfect! I can eat as many as I want. Just be careful because it melts easily, so winter is the safest time. Enjoy it with coffee for a smooth finish.

I buy it for myself, but it's also easy to use as a souvenir. Anyway, it's a little more delicious than other places. Especially the chocolate ones are delicious. Maybe it's a shop that mainly focuses on chocolate? I don't know much about cake types, but personally, I like combinations with chocolate and peanuts that have a good texture, so it's my favorite.

Chocolate cakes are famous here. They can be found in various department stores, which is convenient when my family wants one. Recently, there have been consecutive family birthdays, and they all wanted chocolate cakes. So, I bought chocolate cakes every few days. Usually, custom-made whole cakes from individual shops are not often reviewed on food review websites like Tabelog, as they are meant for the person's special occasion. This time, I chose cakes from the showcase. The Foret Noire 15cm cake for 4,212 yen was decent, with milk chocolate on top and two-colored sponge with cream and chocolate mousse inside. The Chocolat Samba 15cm cake for 4,104 yen was really good, with two types of mousse on chocolate sponge. On my way out, I also bought a Chocolate Choux Shoe Truffle for 130 yen, which was delicious.

"Is this the cake that inspired the collaboration?" At the time of posting this article, some of you may have already received or known about the collaboration menu between 'Mister Donut' and 'Vitameal'. Recently, 'Mister Donut' has been selling a cake from 'Vitameal' that inspired their collaboration. In January 2022, they released a donut inspired by the chocolate cake from 'Vitameal', a patisserie brand appointed by the Belgian royal family. Prior to this collaboration, 'Mister Donut' has worked with popular brands like 'Pierre Herme', 'Pierre Marcolini', and 'Toshi Yoroizuka'. When I learned about this, I thought, 'Oh, another collaboration with them,' but then I realized that I had never taken out the cake from 'Vitameal' itself. So, I decided to try the popular cake that inspired the collaboration, and purchased the following cakes from the shop: Chocolat Samba - A chocolate cake that is a masterpiece of 'Vitameal'. It consists of bitter chocolate mousse wrapped in milk chocolate mousse, with a white chocolate layer on top. The rich and deep chocolate flavor, along with the shiny appearance and striped pattern on the side, left a lasting impression. It is perfect for chocolate lovers. Chocolat Noisette - A cake layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut sponge. The delicate texture of the chocolate mousse and the fragrant flavor of hazelnuts were delightful. Compared to the chocolate cakes found in supermarkets or convenience stores, the quality of cream and dough is definitely superior. The collaboration donuts between 'Mister Donut' and 'Vitameal' are available until February 14th, but the cakes I tried are available year-round, and there are also larger sizes. Whether you have already tried the collaboration donuts or not, would you like to try these cakes as well?

Cake comparison purchase I thought I had never eaten here before, but I bought it, but I have eaten it as a gift. The appearance is stylish and has a unique sense of luxury. The cake is sweet and has a weighty taste that I like more than the size! I like both strawberry and chocolate flavors! It's sweet, so I might be satisfied with just half of it. This type seems to go well with coffee rather than tea. There was also a larger size available, so I think it would be good for gifts.

Wittamer's whole cakes are a bit pricey, but they are delicious and perfect for adult sweets, so gourmet enthusiasts can rest assured when ordering. I decided to go with a cassis whole cake this time, as someone with a sweet tooth was present. The cake looked gorgeous and was well received as a birthday cake. The cassis mousse was unexpectedly rich and had a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. I would love to have it again. Wittamer never disappoints. The birthday plate's chocolate was also delicious, as the guest of honor mentioned. I often use Wittamer for bringing gifts, but surprisingly, I don't get to enjoy their cakes myself very often.

When it comes to chocolate, one of the go-to places is Vita Maille. Surprisingly, besides the main store in Belgium, they only have overseas branches in Japan. Their Macadamia Chocolate is a classic item, available in two flavors: bitter and mild. It's a simple treat with a crunchy cookie, chocolate, and nuts - nothing too unusual, but the nuts are plentiful, the cookie is crispy, and the chocolate is high-quality and delicious. They sell it all year round, but summer can make the chocolate melt, so now is the perfect time to enjoy it. With its luxurious packaging and affordable price of under 1000 yen, it's a great option for a casual souvenir. They also release seasonal flavors occasionally, so I look forward to trying more!

The cakes at Vitameal are cute but a little too sweet, just like the chocolates. If you're looking for something cheaper, try the Chocolat Chou Cream Puff and Chocolate Eclair. Unfortunately, the Chocolat Chou Cream Puff is usually sold out by the evening due to its popularity, but the Chocolate Eclair is a beautiful treat with the Vitameal logo on top. It looks very luxurious and tastes delicious. Another satisfying experience!

It's been a while since I had this! It has a lot of nuts and comes in milk and dark chocolate varieties, but I prefer the milk one. Once you eat one, you can't stop. It's consistently delicious as always. Thank you for the meal today! ☺️

Around 5:00 PM... I was craving sweets, so I headed to Osaka Takashimaya. At Osaka Takashimaya, I found the summer limited edition Éclair Chocolat starting from 3:00 PM!! I'm a sucker for anything that's limited edition or available for a short time, so I bought it!! I occasionally buy chocolate, but this is my first time trying an éclair ♡ The pastry is firm, and the chocolate cream inside is slightly bitter... It's delicious! The cocoa nibs give off a cocoa aroma in your mouth♪ It was a wonderful time! Thank you for the meal!

Is there a temporary store at Daimaru in Sapporo??? That's kind of inconvenient for me since I came from Osaka... I got a gift card for the Vitameal store at Takashimaya in Osaka, so there's no mistake!!! I was asked to check on someone living next to where my brother's wife's childhood friend moved to, because they went abroad and are not home, and even though that person didn't bring back any souvenirs, their mother bought something from Takashimaya and said "they have no common sense." So, what does that have to do with me??? My evaluation criteria are based on whether beer goes well with the food, but I've been feeling really unwell this week and ended up just having one beer and a taste of shochu before going to sleep. I haven't eaten anything yet, and I have drafts for 28 restaurants that I need to try... I have to keep eating consistently, at the very least I can't afford to add more. I'm not a fan of pie crust, but sweet treats that taste as expected are delicious. Will it go well with beer? That's a question, but it's not a bad match. I thought one of them would be like a Florentine, but the base is different. The base feels very light, and although it felt strange at first, it's not bad...

Yesterday's sweets at Namba, Osaka Takashimaya B1F Wittamer were amazing. The strawberry shortcake, Frais de Wittamer, and chocolate-covered éclair were all delicious. The next customer bought 10 éclairs! They had the emblem of the Belgian royal family, making me feel like royalty as I enjoyed them. #Sweetsman #OsakaGourmet

I ended up buying a non-chocolate cake again at VITA MAREL! I was thinking of buying a cake for my birthday this year, but everywhere was crowded before Christmas, and the prices of cakes were high, almost close to 1,000 yen per piece. Most of the cakes were for Christmas, but I chose this shop because they had some regular ones and it was around 600 yen, which was one of the few in the 500 yen range. I had wanted to try the chocolate one from this shop for a while, but ended up getting the strawberry one, which I think is the safest choice. The taste was good, but maybe I expected too much, so it felt like something was missing. If it was in the 300 yen range, it would have been okay, but it didn't meet my expectations. I decided that next time, I must definitely try the chocolate one!

"Vitameal's Chou Truffe" is so popular that it sells out at any store in the evening. I had to go to Takashimaya in the morning, so I bought three of them. They even gave me free ice packs and paper bags, which made me very happy. I enjoy eating them at home alone. They are really delicious. Among all the petit choux creams, this one from Vitameal probably ranks first in my opinion. If you have the chance, please try it. It's a petit choux cream that you can eat in one bite. Although I usually love regular-sized chou creams, Vitameal's Chou Truffe is exceptional. The choux pastry is filled with chocolate cream, coated with milk chocolate, and the chocolate melts in your mouth when you bite into it. It's small, affordable, and a delightful treat whether you buy it for yourself or receive it as a gift. It's delicious and cute. I also love Vitameal's "Macadamia Chocolat (Milk)" which is another top-ranking baked good at Vitameal. I'm starting to crave the Macadamia Chocolat now. I'm considering buying it from the online shop. I'm currently pondering about it.

The photos were cracked or missing, so it feels like a personal memo, but here are my thoughts on the baked goods I tried. I usually associate Vita Mail with cakes, chocolates, and Macadamia Chocolates, so this was my first time trying their baked goods!
- Feuillétage Noisette: A pie covered with lots of brown sugar. Hazelnuts are buried between the brown sugar. The crispy and crunchy texture is enjoyable. The taste of brown sugar is more dominant than the hazelnuts.
- Gateau O'Noa: A crispy monaka filled with lots of nuts! You can enjoy both the texture and taste. Despite being caramelized, there is no bitterness or nuttiness, but it somehow has a subtle taste of tea...?
I thought Vita Mail was specialized in chocolates, but their baked goods were also delicious.

I received this as a gift and it was delicious no matter what I ate, so I was extremely happy when I received it. When I untied the ribbon and opened the box, beautiful chocolates came out. They were all delicious as expected, and I was deeply impressed. I love VitaMare.
