It's been a while since I visited. The morning set was relaxing and you can smoke inside. The location of the shop is a bit hard to find. The E set costs ¥540 and includes bacon, fried egg, salad, and toast. The toast didn't have butter on it, so I had to spread the fried egg on it and eat it. I don't remember anything from my previous visit, so I can't comment on that... Unfortunately.

I don't smoke, but I like the atmosphere. In this area, you can either go to Men's Mall or the smoking area at Daimaru or Sanban-gai. It might be nice for people who like smoking cigarettes to relax. The melon soda is cute. The service is also good.

Nabio's B1F cafe "Jack and the Beanstalk" is a rare smoking-permitted establishment. It was not crowded when I entered. However, there was a smell of cigarettes. I ordered an iced cafe au lait for 550 yen. The customers on both sides were not smoking, which was a relief. There was a partition between the seats. The cafe au lait had a lot of ice and the taste was weak. Even when I drank it quickly, it didn't have much coffee flavor. And all for 550 yen... I don't smoke myself, so I don't know, but maybe the price is high because there are few places where you can smoke. Half of the customers were smokers. Many people who came in and sat down left when they realized it was a smoking-permitted place. I was ready to leave if a smoker sat next to me. For various reasons, I will not be revisiting this place. The score does not take into account the presence of smoking.

I took a break here after walking around and getting tired. My companion wanted to smoke, so we came here because it allows smoking throughout. The café is not very big, but it was bustling with customers, and the staff were friendly. Personally, I wish it was non-smoking, but I understand that it's a good café for smokers.

This was the first time I had dinner before watching a movie. The restaurant was a bit hard to find, even though I had passed by it before. It's located in the basement of the Hankyu Men's Building, despite being listed on the navigation app. The food was heated in a microwave and served piping hot. They offered a variety of dishes like Napolitan, mentaiko pasta, pilaf, omurice, and ginger pork, but the quality was not as good as I had hoped. Hankyu Men's Building HEP? Is that what it's called? It's located a little up the stairs. They offer a morning lunch until 11:30, which is great. And it's cheap too. You can order the E set for ¥540, which is surprisingly cheap for Umeda. I always end up choosing a cozy place instead of a trendy one (lol). The cake set is also cheap. I didn't look at the other menus, but I think they are also affordable. The salad, fried egg, bacon, and toast were delicious. Smoking is allowed.

A few minutes walk from Umeda Station on various lines. Having breakfast here at HEP Navio underground floor 1. The interior has only table seating, and there are 5 options for the breakfast menu. I ordered the Bacon, Egg & Toast with a hot coffee. Let's dig in! The toast is a bit thin, and the bacon isn't that big, so adding 150 yen for boiled egg to make it a bacon and egg set doesn't seem worth it. In terms of cost performance, the standard toast set for 390 yen is better. So, bon appétit! Breakfast is available until 11:30 a.m., so it's convenient. Also, the female staff members are friendly and give a good impression. Their farewell "Take care on your way" is nice too.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Umeda Station on the Midosuji Line and Higashi-Umeda Station on the Tanimachi Line, HEP Navio is a bit hard to find but it's right by Whity Umeda. It has a retro vibe and is mostly smoking seats. The first seat we were shown to was filled with smoke, so we asked to move to the other side where there was no one. We ordered the Napolitan pasta set which came with salad and a drink for 1,080 yen. The pasta was made with thin spaghetti and familiar ingredients like bacon, green peppers, and onions. It was a comforting and delicious taste. The salad was shredded cabbage with sesame dressing. The coffee was from a retro brand and oddly quite warm.

We were so moved that we decided to have a 'impression talk' as a couple and went to this restaurant we had been curious about for a while. The atmosphere was like a classic coffee shop, with a retro-modern feel that was very relaxing. The cake was delicious, so we're thinking of stopping by again next time we go to the movies."

I ended up walking towards Whity Umeda without realizing it when I looked at the time and saw it was already 10:50, almost the end of morning hours. I found a retro-looking shop with a morning menu available until 11:30, so I decided to go in. It's a vintage-style shop, and even though it's a non-smoking establishment, the two groups of customers before me weren't smoking, which was great. I ordered a sandwich set and a hot drink. The young lady working there was very efficient, handling serving and cooking tasks with ease while attending to the customers one after another. The coffee had a bitter taste with little acidity, which I personally liked. I was considering buying a convenience store coffee at Himeji Station, but I'm glad I held off! The sandwich was delicious, and the salad was colorful and tasty. When the person at the next table started smoking, I quickly finished my coffee and hurried to pay. It was a satisfying meal! Now, I still have plenty of time, so I thought about trying solo drinking for the first time, but I didn't have the courage to enter, so I ended up walking to Hankyu instead.

From any angle, this cafe exudes a Showa era vibe. I had the yakiniku lunch set with salad and a drink. Even though the drink alone costs over 550 yen, here they only charge the excess amount on top of that... a reassuring system that doesn't lead to additional charges. The dish is made by stir-frying onions, carrots, and green peppers in a frying pan, then adding thinly sliced meat and cooking it in a soy sauce-based sauce. It's probably something like this. Recently, even yakiniku restaurants offer yakiniku bento boxes, but when it comes to cafes or bento shops serving yakiniku, this is the taste you expect. A little sour, sweet, and fragrant. Yakiniku cooked on the pan towards the end with the moisture from the vegetables is delicious, right? The lighting inside the cafe is dimmed.
