The famous "Hakata-style Soup Dumplings 1010" offers original soup dumplings for takeout, perfect for enjoying at home or as a souvenir. The soup dumplings were delicious, with the juicy filling bursting out. They also have a new menu item, "Drinkable Almond Jelly," which comes in a variety of flavors and is easy to drink and tasty. This new product born from the owner's playful spirit seems perfect for the upcoming season. The frozen soup dumplings were also very delicious.

It seems like the site reservation for GOTO EAT is ending soon. I found a restaurant that is okay for solo diners, and I hurriedly made a reservation after finding it. It's a specialty shop for "yaki xiaolongbao," a Japanese-style expression for Shanghai's famous dish, "shengjianbao." The restaurant mainly serves shengjianbao, which are dumplings with filling wrapped in a pastry and then steamed or pan-fried. I made a reservation for the "senbero set" from the top page of Tabelog. The restaurant is very small, with only tables along the edges (standing eating). I decided to order yaki xiaolongbao (2 pieces), ebi-filled yaki xiaolongbao (2 pieces), sui gyoza (3 pieces), and a set with Qingdao beer (1250 yen). The Qingdao beer was served in a can with a plastic cup. The yaki xiaolongbao and ebi-filled yaki xiaolongbao arrived first. The staff kindly advised not to bite into them directly. The outside was crispy, more like fried than baked, and the filling inside was generous. The sui gyoza was more standard in taste. During my meal, several kids came in one after another. They seemed to be elementary school students, leaving their school bags and asking their fathers for help. It was heartwarming to see them learning to cook in the kitchen with the restaurant owner.

A small dumpling shop in a back alley. It's a bit tough to eat standing up, but the food was really delicious! It was even better than what I had in Yokohama Chinatown. I bought some sesame dumplings to take home. The staff at the shop were also very nice. I will definitely go back!

I tried the takeout from a restaurant in Shanghai called "Da Hu Chun," where a person who obtained a Bib Gourmand worked. The specialty was the pan-fried soup dumplings they developed. Each dumpling was quite substantial in size! The pan-fried soup dumplings had a strong meaty flavor, and if they cooled even slightly, they became greasy, so it's definitely better to reheat them if they cool down during takeout!! The meat juice bursts out vigorously as soon as you bite into it. The dumpling skin was thicker than a regular dumpling, and it was fried until crispy, absorbing a lot of oil, making it feel a bit greasy. I also bought some boiled dumplings, which had plenty of vegetables mixed in with the dumpling filling, and it was more to my taste.

The other day, I finished work early so I decided to visit this shop. I used to frequent the previous BAR, but the owner has changed to a three-star Michelin-rated Shanghai-style soup dumpling restaurant. Since I hadn't been able to visit before, I took this opportunity to stop by on my way home. It's located on Nishidori Street, where foot traffic is really low. I was surprised. They mainly do takeout, so I believed they were open and finally found it. I bought three, including one for my child. It's three for 550 yen. I heated them up in the microwave at home with the container. The dumplings were filled with juicy meat and had a strong flavor. The outside was crispy from being baked, with a good chewy texture. It's quite filling when you eat a pack. It's a good snack? I think I'll buy some when I go to work. Thank you for the meal!

This is a specialty store of Shanghai's famous "Sheng Jian Bao", supervised by the state-owned restaurant "Da Fu Chun" which has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand. It is a type of bun filled with meat that is pan-fried in a cast iron skillet, known in Japan as "yaki xiao long bao". It is a well-known local B-grade gourmet dish that is a must-try when visiting Shanghai. The shop is located on a street in the Tenjin and Daimyo area, offering mainly take-out but also a small eat-in area. The menu includes basic yaki xiao long bao (4 pieces for 550 yen) and shrimp-filled yaki xiao long bao (4 pieces for 600 yen), with additional options like chicken broth wonton soup for an extra 400 yen. Alcoholic beverages such as Asahi Super Dry, highball, and lemon sour are available for 400 yen each (set +350 yen), while Qingdao beer is 500 yen (set +450 yen). Soft drinks like cola, Calpis, oolong tea, and ginger ale are 200 yen each (set +150 yen). They also offer Chinese sweets called "mahua" and take-out pig feet for 600 yen. The eat-in area is standing only. I visited with a friend and we tried the basic yaki xiao long bao for 550 yen, shrimp-filled yaki xiao long bao for 600 yen, and two 350ml cans of beer (Asahi Super Dry) for 350 yen each. The buns are slightly larger than expected, resembling mini meat buns that are pan-fried until crispy on the outside. They are cooked in a large cast iron skillet with plenty of oil. The best part of dining in is being able to enjoy the freshly cooked xiao long bao. The buns are served on a plastic plate that looks like a griddle, but it's not hot to the touch. However, be careful as the hot meat juice can splash when you bite into it! First, carefully break the skin with chopsticks and sip the soup with a spoon. Once it cools down a bit, dig into the coarsely ground meat filling and thick, chewy skin. The shrimp-filled buns have whole pieces of shrimp inside the meat filling. You can add flavor with the special chili oil and black vinegar on the table. The chili oil goes really well with it. A set of 4 yaki xiao long bao and a drink is quite satisfying, making it a good option for lunch. For take-out, you can reheat the buns in the microwave as they come in microwave-safe packs. Enjoy your meal at Da Fu Chun in Fukuoka Tenjin!

I was lured in by the sign that said "Michelin taste in Japan!" and decided to visit for the first time. The restaurant had a traditional Chinese atmosphere and I ordered the classic pan-fried soup dumplings. I was tempted by the shrimp dumplings as well, but since it was my first time, I stuck with the basics. There was a counter with no chairs, but they had a place to store belongings and the staff were very polite and provided excellent service. I had imagined the dumplings to be small because of the photos on the sign, but they were actually quite large. I broke one open with a spoon and started with the soup. It flowed out deliciously. The outside was crispy and the inside was filled with plenty of soup. The seasoning was just right. However, the minced meat inside was not very well blended and had a crumbly texture, lacking juiciness. Maybe all the juice went into the soup? Personally, I prefer steamed dumplings over pan-fried ones, but the crispy skin was a nice change and they were enjoyable as a snack.

Thick-skinned pan-fried soup dumplings at Daifuushu in Daimyo. Located a little off the main street in Konnomachi alley, Daifuushu seems to have popped up out of nowhere. The interior is divided into half kitchen and half standing eating space. The pan-fried soup dumplings come in a set of 4 for 550 yen and are served quickly, indicating they may be pre-made. When you bite into them, the meat juices flow out, so it's best to start from the top with chopsticks. It would be nice if they had slightly larger spoons instead of plastic ones. There is black vinegar on the table as well. The regular beer set is 350 yen, but I opted for the Qingdao beer set at 450 yen. Paid exactly 1000 yen with PayPay.

I visited the local TV and magazine featured restaurant "Da Fu Shu" in Fukuoka, which serves authentic Shanghai-style pan-fried soup dumplings. The restaurant, which opened in November last year, has a cute and clean interior reminiscent of a Chinese street stall. The pan-fried soup dumplings were delicious, with a chewy skin and a crispy bottom. Be careful as the soup inside can splash out when you bite into them. I also tried the shrimp wonton soup and the chicken bone broth soup, both of which were tasty. I recommend trying the unique way of eating the soup dumplings by adding them into the soup. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I look forward to going back to try more dishes.

DaFuShu Fukuoka Tenjin store, as seen on "Tenjin Now" on Fu-Shu TV, is a must-visit place. Located off Nishi-dori Street, it can be a bit hard to find as the sun sets. I tried their "Yaki Xiao Long Bao" (4 pieces for ¥550) and it was delicious. The friendly manager, who speaks Japanese well, was happy to answer any questions. Although you can take out food, I couldn't wait and ate one on the spot. It was not too hot, and poking a hole in the top to sip the soup made it even better. When taking out, you can add chili oil from the table and reheat it at home without the plastic wrap. It's best to eat it hot for the best taste. I wish I could have ordered 2 of each kind (shrimp-filled 4 pieces for ¥600), but unfortunately, it wasn't possible. Remember, individual opinions may vary. Check out their website for the map and details: https://da-fu-shu.com/. The store is located at 1-13-9 Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, with contact number 092-707-0410. I went to a restaurant that opened in Daimyo after seeing it on TV. It is located deep in an alley across from the Apple Store on Nishi-dori. The pan-fried soup dumplings are 550 yen for 4 pieces, and the shrimp-filled ones are 600 yen. Each dumpling is quite large. This time, I got the regular pan-fried soup dumplings to go. To reheat, you can microwave them with a cover for about 30 seconds. The skin is thick and firm due to being pan-fried. Be careful of the soup inside bursting out! The flavor is rich and delicious. The filling is juicy and meaty, like a soup dumpling. There is a stand-up eat-in area inside the restaurant. They offer a drink set with alcohol for 900 yen, perfect for a quick bite alone or for a pre-drinks gathering with friends. I would like to try the shrimp-filled dumplings next time.

After finishing work, I headed to Tenjin Nishi Street. I was intrigued by a street sign for "Daifuushuu" which said "Shanghai Michelin Bib Gourmand Award Winner!" on one side, and "Qingdao Beer + Grilled Xiao Long Bao Set for 1,000 yen" on the other side. I couldn't visit during work, so I went at 6 pm. The interior mainly focused on takeout, but there were about 4 standing seats available. I ordered the "Qingdao Beer and Grilled Xiao Long Bao Set" at the counter. While waiting for the food, I read the instructions on the wall on how to eat. It mentioned that the meat juice might splatter and that no ice or spoon would be provided. As I was wondering how to eat without a spoon, the grilled Xiao Long Bao arrived. There were 4 pieces, each about the size of a loquat. Although the instructions said there would be no spoon, I was happy they provided one. First, I pierced a hole in the top of the Xiao Long Bao with chopsticks and flipped it over on the spoon. The meat juice was less than expected. The outer layer was crispy, especially the bottom part with a thick wheat skin that was crispy. Inside, there was meat filling, and I tried different sauces like special chili oil, black vinegar, and Xiao Long Bao vinegar for added flavor. If I had eaten it without any expectations, it would have been interesting, but with the words "Michelin" and "juicy meat," I might have set my expectations too high. (laughs) It was a bit of a letdown. Thank you for the meal.

Soup with alcohol and 4 grilled soup dumplings for 1300 yen! It's cheap and delicious! We went early, so we brought our 4-year-old child with us, and the staff were kind and the price was satisfying! The hand-kneaded dough is delicious!
