It was cheap and delicious! I had shiny fish, flat horse mackerel, and cured mackerel, all of which were fresh and tasty. The complimentary red miso soup with seaweed was a nice touch. The tuna and mountain vegetable sushi rolls were delicious, with a great combination of flavors. The spacious interior of the restaurant was very comfortable. Thank you for the meal!

Delicious! Slightly more expensive than a regular conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but worth it for the quality! They hand you the sushi directly and even add extra toppings. Pickled ginger is also unlimited. If you love sushi and want something a little more delicious, this place is recommended for those times when you want to treat yourself.

I went on a casual trip in the city on my day off, and the first stop was a sushi restaurant. Since I couldn't make a reservation, I arrived as soon as it opened. The sushi was served directly without using the conveyor belt. The anago and unagi were very fluffy and delicious, but the prices were on the higher side. The rice was slightly smaller, making the toppings look bigger, but overall it was just average.

After returning to my home country✈️, I really wanted to eat something light, so I went to a sushi restaurant that I hadn't been to in a while. I enjoyed dishes like crab miso, eel, sea bream, yellowtail, scallops, and more. The red miso soup with fish bones was also delicious and easy on the stomach. Unfortunately, the recommended bonito was all sold out, which was a big disappointment.

I was thinking about what to have for lunch and ended up wandering around the station market, where I came across a revolving sushi restaurant. Instead of sushi moving along the conveyor belt, you had to order using a tablet. The quality of the sushi was higher than the usual chain sushi restaurants, and accordingly, the prices were higher as well. It was delicious.

I came to the revolving sushi restaurant at Osaka Station Ekimaru Market. I was drawn to the special bonito festival in early summer. It's bonito with nuta. Nuta is a seasoning commonly eaten in Kochi, made by crushing garlic leaves and adding miso, sugar, and vinegar to create a green seasoning. In Kochi Prefecture, it is common to eat sashimi with this "nuta" instead of wasabi soy sauce. You can enjoy a different taste from the usual bonito. Next is the fresh firefly squid marinated in oyster sauce. This year, firefly squid is scarce in Toyama Bay. While firefly squid in Toyama is large, this one is a small male firefly squid likely caught in Hyogo Prefecture's Hamasaka fishing port. In Toyama, only females gathered for spawning are captured, while in Hyogo Prefecture, both males and females are caught in a bottom trawl net. That's why Hyogo Prefecture has the highest firefly squid catch, followed by Toyama Prefecture. It has a rich flavor soaked in oyster sauce. Then, there's simmered conger eel. I prefer the tender simmered conger eel over grilled. This restaurant serves everything without wasabi. You can add your preferred amount of wasabi to enjoy it. The wasabi used here is relatively strong, so a little goes a long way. Lastly, there's flying squid. It's a large squid that grows up to 1 meter long and weighs around 20 kg. It's also known as swordtip squid or red squid depending on the region. I once saw it at a fishing port in San'in and bought it, but it was too big and filled up my refrigerator. Ganko Revolving Sushi in Shin-Osaka Station is a place I sometimes like to stop by on my business trips back. It's a bit more expensive for a revolving sushi restaurant, but the quality of the sushi is worth it, with fresh and skillfully prepared ingredients, including some rare choices. The Toro Takuan in particular is delicious. When commuting from Umeda to Kyobashi for work, this place is convenient. The seafood bowl for 1000 yen at the revolving sushi restaurant is served quickly after ordering, but surprisingly there was a bit of a wait. There are plenty of toppings, with two pieces each, so you feel satisfied after eating. The miso soup with seaweed is served in small portions, but I like the taste.

Visited around 12:00 on a regular day. No wait. Many dishes are around 500 yen each. The tuna is delicious. Fatty tuna is 2 pieces for 500 yen. It might be cheap for this quality of fish. The rice is small and easy to eat. Overall, it's okay, but the tuna is really good.

Let's try eating here at Ekimaru in Osaka Station. No matter which conveyor belt sushi restaurant you go to, the menu is pretty similar. I ordered the seared trio - seared salmon, seared yellowtail, and seared salmon with mayo, as well as beef kalbi, egg, and premium tuna. Since it's a restaurant in the station, the food comes out quickly and you can eat and leave within about 20 minutes. It's convenient!

I went after a long time and noticed that the sushi rice was about half the usual size. The fish was delicious though. You have to write your order on a piece of paper and hand it to the staff, but when I told the sushi chef directly, he just said "please wait" and kept me waiting for about 10 minutes. So, I ended up going to the entrance and giving my order to the staff there. After leaving, I realized I forgot my hat and when I told the entrance staff, they bluntly said, "Check it yourself (go back to your seat)!" It was my fault for dropping it, but I wish they had at least checked under the table for lost items.

I have used this shop several times in the past, and when I stopped by after a long time, the sushi was bigger and tastier! I was happy to see items like sea eel, clam, red shrimp, grilled amberjack, conger eel, flathead, salmon, and chicken and clam sushi with two pieces each. I became Line friends with them, so I got a free drink service, and I chose a highball. It took me a while to finish it because it made me tipsy. I'm sorry for staying so long, but I will definitely go back to eat there again! It was also nice to be able to use the gold sticker.

Around 7:30 PM, I visited "Kaitenzushi Ganko" located in Ekimarche on the 1st floor of Osaka Station. During my visit, there were no sushi plates rotating on the conveyor belt, and it was completely order-based. They were also having a festival featuring fresh bluefin tuna. [Food Ordered] - Bluefin Tuna - Bluefin Tuna Lean Meat: 500 yen - Bluefin Tuna Medium Fatty Tuna: 500 yen - Bluefin Tuna Fatty Tuna: 500 yen Since it was a festival for fresh bluefin tuna, I ordered all three types. Among them, the medium fatty tuna was the most delicious. The texture was fine and the slices were thick, but it melted smoothly in the mouth. I also tried the regular bluefin tuna, and you can definitely feel the richness of the tuna flavor. - Torigai (Cockle): 280 yen - Ohtsubugai (Large Whelk): 340 yen - Speciality Anago (Conger Eel) Sushi: 650 yen - Salmon: 280 yen - Salmon Comparison Set: 400 yen The Salmon Comparison Set included Norwegian farmed salmon and domestic Crown salmon from Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture. - Natto Gunkan (Battleship Sushi): 150 yen - Negitoro Tsumami Sushi: 190 yen - Ikura Tsumami Sushi: 400 yen - Hotate (Scallop): 280 yen - Buri (Yellowtail): 280 yen [Overall] The Bluefin Tuna Medium Fatty Tuna was the best. I visited Gan'ko, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located in Ekimarche inside JR Osaka Station, for the first time in 7-8 years on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not as lively as I remembered, with only a few customers and not many sushi plates going around on the conveyor belt. I tried shrimp, conger eel, squid, medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, crab miso, and eel and cucumber sushi. The limited-time medium fatty tuna was delicious, and the conger eel was tasty with its chewy texture. The rest of the sushi was average. Compared to other conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Kansai, such as Isomaru Suisan, Gan'ko seemed a bit outdated. However, the quality is better than cheaper options like Sushiro or Kura Sushi. Although Gan'ko only has locations in prime spots like Abeno Harukas basement and Shin-Osaka Station, I would love to see them open a branch in Kobe Sannomiya.

This is a revolving sushi restaurant located near the bus terminal entrance of Ekimaru. The plates cost around 400 yen each and they have a wide variety of dishes. You can easily order by writing on a piece of paper. I ordered marinated tuna, conger eel, flounder fin, and seared golden eye snapper. The marinated tuna was deliciously tender, while the conger eel had a good texture and refreshing shiso flavor. However, the golden eye snapper had a strong, unpleasant smell and was tough. Disappointing!

Lunch at Osaka Station. Discovered a conveyor belt sushi restaurant that seems popular with locals. Despite being a conveyor belt sushi place, most of the dishes were not actually rotating. Basically, you fill out an order form with your preferred items and hand it to the staff. The place was almost full, but we weren't kept waiting for more than 5 minutes from ordering. We had 13 pieces in total, including Enagawa, Aji, Buri, Iwashi, Negi-aburi Maguro, and Honmaguro Toro. The pieces were generous in size and satisfying. I especially recommend the items in the 220 yen zone. I love Enagawa!

I wanted to eat something quickly near the station, so I came to this place in the station building. When I registered with LINE, I got a free drink, so my partner and I both registered and had a highball. It was a strong highball ✨ I ordered the Hokkai Sanmai 3 pieces of sushi shown in the photo, as well as negitoro, madai, and amaebi. I forgot what my companion ordered, but we ordered about 6 dishes. The sushi chef was a woman, and the service was also done by a woman (with a nice "Osaka auntie" vibe), and it was nice to be able to eat in a relaxed atmosphere because it wasn't crowded. With the free drink, it cost us around 3,300 yen for two people. There is also a direct ticket gate from the station building, and it's convenient. I haven't been here much, but I'm looking forward to the other shops opening during construction. Thank you for the meal ✨

In Umeda, there are various restaurants I like for solo lunches, but I felt like revisiting this place after a long time. A few years ago, I used to come here often and think how delicious it was, but when I visited two years ago, it didn't impress me as much. I wonder how it is now. It's surprisingly empty for a Saturday lunchtime. Could it be because of the increasing infections? There are many covered plates rotating around. They all look delicious. The toppings look thick and fresh. I'll just pick what I like for now. I got seared bonito, salmon belly, tsubugai, and engawa, all for 220 yen each. The bonito has a great flavor with plenty of fat. Isn't it cheap for 220 yen? There was no yellowtail on the menu, but with bonito being this cheap, it's more than enough. The seared salmon belly is a popular item, so every conveyor belt sushi place puts effort into it, but this one was delicious as expected. I particularly liked the tsubugai – thick and tasty. It's incomparable to the 100 yen items. The engawa was also delicious with great value. There was also a few more plates. Seared sardine, cured mackerel, seared assorted fish, and crab miso. The seared sardine is rare, so I picked it. It seems fresh. Tasty, but a bit too fishy. I love cured mackerel, but I rarely eat it at sushi places. Depending on the restaurant, the mackerel can be too smelly or too vinegary, ruining the taste of other sushi. This one seemed good, so I tried it, and it was decent. The seared assorted fish was so-so. Maybe they were too cautious with the searing? There was no crab miso on the conveyor belt, so I ordered it. Surprisingly, both the crab miso and the rice were cold, as if they were just taken out of the fridge. Did they store it in the fridge after making it? Squid legs (no photo) looked delicious, but they had a strong fishy smell and ended up being a disappointment. Lastly, let's have the best dish of the day again – tsubugai! Huh? Why does it smell fishy now? I even thought it was better than eating it in Hokkaido earlier... Maybe the magic of hunger has worn off? But it was totally different from before... Well, I guess I had some hits and misses. I should have stopped after the first four plates. Still, I'm quite satisfied. Thank you for the meal~
