I visited the Italian restaurant "YUNiCO" in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka for dinner. Chef Yamamoto honed his skills at "Ristorante Hiro" for a long time before opening this restaurant in the spring of 2020. Despite the challenges of opening during the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant overcame the difficulties with its solid cuisine and heartwarming service, earning a one-star rating in the "Michelin Guide Osaka 2023". The set course is priced at 13,000 yen, with a seating charge of 600 yen + tax, totaling 14,960 yen (as of June 2023). The ingredients and menu may vary depending on the season, which is something I appreciated. 1. New Potato Amuse: A delicate and flavorful new potato puree amuse bouche. 2. Octopus, Asparagus, Genovese: A Genovese dish of octopus and asparagus, a delightful Italian appetizer. 3. Swordfish, Shiitake: Fried swordfish and shiitake mushrooms, incorporating Japanese elements into the dish. 4. Crab, Spring Onion, Consomme: A French-style dish of crab with consomme jelly, delicious and elegant. 5. 552, Osaka, YUNiCO: A playful dish named "552", reminiscent of a certain Penglai dish, surprising in taste. 6. Fruit Tomato, Burrata, Miyazaki Mango: An ultimate version of Caprese with fruit tomato, Miyazaki mango, and delicious burrata. 7. I visited this Italian restaurant for dinner, which has earned one Michelin star. Although the restaurant's rating on Tabelog is low, I was very satisfied with the food. The young and energetic staff and the lively atmosphere at the counter were very pleasant. The dishes were delicious, and the wine recommended by the staff was also excellent. I had a great time and would like to visit this restaurant again when the season changes.

Italian restaurant in Kitashinchi with Michelin stars (^ ^) Creative Italian cuisine created by a handsome chef! From intricately crafted dishes like tai fish pie to simple dishes that bring out the flavors of the ingredients, each dish was exquisite with attention to detail (^ ^) If they had slightly more affordable courses, I would visit more often.

Located on the 4th floor of the building right outside Kitashinchi Station, this restaurant has a prime location along Sonezaki Street. I wonder how much the rent is for this spot. I was surprised that the owner chose to open here when they could have chosen a different location to start their business. However, I later found out that the owner is also the chef. They must have a lot of confidence in their skills. The restaurant has a unique layout and offers a sense of stability. I will have to come back at night next time.

I was invited by gourmet friends to a place they had been wanting to go for a long time, and finally, we made it happen. The inviting atmosphere of the restaurant with an L-shaped counter and adult vibes. Have you been here before? It seems like it used to be where Ristorante Pinocchio was located. I love the ambiance of this place ♡ While enjoying delicious wine, we could watch the process of the dishes being prepared. The live feeling at the counter seats was the best. As I'm getting older, I find overly salty flavors tiring, but I do enjoy dishes that go well with alcohol. The course menu was well-structured, and the wine smoothly found its way into my stomach, leaving me very satisfied ♡ For the main course, I had black wagyu beef with just the right amount of marbling. The meat, with its creamy and elegant fat, woke me up with just one bite! It was truly a good-looking and delicious piece of meat! Lately, I've been eating a lot of lean meat, so my stomach was a little surprised by the fat in the meat. My stomach, now that I'm older, was even more surprised, tears. This is my first post in a long time. My last update was in 2018... I've always been lacking in vocabulary and expression, and it's been so long that I feel even duller. It's difficult to express my feelings in words. I think I'll start posting more casually again. Unico, it was a really good restaurant! I'm sorry for starting with a post after about 5 years. This restaurant truly deserves its Michelin star. They start with carefully selecting ingredients, all of which are fresh and skillfully utilized to create flavors that go beyond traditional Italian cuisine. Dining at the counter allows you to witness the presentation of each dish, adding to the overall experience. A place I would definitely revisit.

【Visit Date】Dinner on July 14, 2022 【Order】Seasonal course: 9-10 dishes using black wagyu beef, caviar, truffle, and sea urchin, with 5 types of wine pairing The day before yesterday, I went to Unico in Kitashinchi after work. It may not have a high rating on Tabelog, but it's a one Michelin star restaurant. I made a reservation through Ikkyu for a course with wine pairing at 7:00 pm. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of a building along a main street, making it easy to find. The interior has only a counter seating. There were two couples and myself on this day. As for the dishes, you can see the menu for details, but the fried conger eel, burrata cheese dish, and sea bream pie were memorable. The tagliolini was a bit too rich for my taste. Oh, and the bread was exceptionally delicious. That might have been the most memorable part. Thank you for the meal.

The menu includes chilled new potato vichyssoise, curry-flavored red snapper scales, fried shiitake mushrooms from Tokushima, and a white wine from Italy with a spring-like flavor. Other dishes feature Awaji Island stone bream carpaccio with garlic pepperoncino sauce, a dish of Wakayama firefly squid, clams, and sea grapes in white balsamic vinegar, a sandwich made with homemade sausage on Chinese steamed bun dough, and a rose made from red wine grapes. Italian restaurant in Kitashinchi. You can see the staff's efficient work behind the counter. All the food is delicious. The pasta with bamboo shoots and karasumi was especially tasty. Saw a couple dining together in Kitashinchi. Whether with friends or as a couple, it's a great place to go.

I used it on my birthday. The chef, who trained at a famous restaurant in Aoyama, served delicious dishes with a soft demeanor and a strong commitment to the sauce. The small counter-only interior is perfect for a date with a woman. The chef didn't boast about having won a Michelin star, but rather talked about wanting to compete on taste alone, which I thought was a great attitude towards Italian cuisine. I promised the chef that I would come with my girlfriend next time, so I definitely want to revisit with her.

It's been a while, but the Italian restaurant in Kitashinchi. The restaurant had only counter seats and we were the only ones there that day. We had a luxurious time watching the chef prepare the dishes. The focaccia was too delicious. Everything was very delicious.

Recently, I've been feeling mentally exhausted due to various things happening. So, I decided to take a break from work. I had a delicious Italian meal as a way to reward myself. It was my first time at this restaurant, but it used to be another Italian restaurant before, which felt a bit nostalgic. I sat at the counter where I could see the cooking happening right in front of me, which was a special seat. We toasted with white wine and enjoyed eel and mushroom tempura, which was so delicious. The bonito carpaccio with citrus was refreshing. Steamed abalone with ink sauce was a perfect match with wine. The flan with plenty of red king crab was irresistible. The sea bream pie with sea urchin and caviar was luxurious and tasty. We ordered another bottle of white wine. The pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms, truffles, and cheese was incredibly delicious. The Satsuma beef was so flavorful that it only needed a bit of salt. The Mont Blanc dessert was light and melted in the mouth. Every dish was delicious, and I had a great time. I will definitely visit again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had a course meal. Despite the appearance of the building, when I opened the door of the restaurant, I found a lovely space with only counter seats. I was a little nervous when I entered, but the chef talked to me in a friendly manner, so I was able to enjoy not only the food but also the time and space itself. The course consisted of a total of 10 Japanese-Italian dishes. I was satisfied with being able to enjoy a variety of dishes little by little. Among them, the most popular menu item in the restaurant, the baked pie, was amazing! The crispy thin pie crust, the tender sea bream, and the fluffy texture were superb. Personally, the focaccia is my favorite bread I have ever had. I want to come back just for that focaccia! As the course progressed, I felt a bit sad to see the cutlery in the drawer decreasing because each dish was really delicious. Thank you for the meal!

While all the dishes were tasty, my favorites were the 551 Osaka Yunico and the sea bream in puff pastry. The 551 Yunico had tender beef cheeks inside, and it was so cute that I didn't want to finish it in one bite! The sea bream in puff pastry was cut in front of us after being baked. The moment I took the first bite, the deliciousness made time stand still. It paired perfectly with the champagne sauce. Each dish was delicious, making it a blissful dining experience. Kitashinchi, near the former Daikokudrug store, a new restaurant called Unico opened during the Corona pandemic. As soon as it ended, I went there and was impressed. The dishes had a perfect balance of hot and cold elements, like the Gold Rush soup. The temperature difference made the experience enjoyable. The Prata cheese with tomatoes was delicious, and the pie with champagne sauce was exceptional. The dessert with mango sauce was also great. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. We had the 13,000 yen course, but there is also a 9,000 yen option. The wine pairing is around 6,000 yen.
