Seafood bowl for a little over 2,500 yen. It's a bit pricey due to the location. It can get crowded during lunchtime, so consider yourself lucky if you get seated right away. Not bad. It's conveniently close to the elevator, so it's good if you want to quickly eat a variety of dishes.

On a weekend afternoon, waited for about 10 minutes. The tempura bowl and seafood bowl were reasonably priced for an airport. The tempura bowl had 7 types of tempura, but the large fish-like item was not anago, but rather a smelly hokke which was not great. Other items like asparagus, potatoes, shrimp, salmon, shiso leaf, pumpkin were delicious. The seafood bowl had real ikura and was delicious. The tofu in the miso soup was not very tasty.

I ended up having lunch at the airport and wanted to eat seafood, so I happened to come to this restaurant. It was delicious, but it was disappointing that it wasn't vinegared rice. Also, the way the staff carried the food was a bit rough. The restaurant was quite noisy and crowded (it was Saturday lunchtime, so it can't be helped), so I couldn't relax at all.

A relatively empty and user-friendly restaurant. I really wanted to eat crab, so I stopped by this place before my departure. It was a bit disappointing that the king crab legs were slightly frozen. The service from the staff was good (*´꒳`*) It's recommended for those who want to sit and relax as it was less crowded compared to other places.

During my business trip to Sapporo, I had seafood bowl at a restaurant in New Chitose Airport. I arrived at lunchtime and it was crowded everywhere, but luckily I could just squeeze in. They had a wide variety of bowl options, all packed with Hokkaido seafood. It might be the same everywhere, but the actual bowl was a bit smaller than it looked in the photos, which was a little disappointing.

Hokkaido trip is coming to an end. Before heading back, I stopped by a local cuisine restaurant to make sure there are no regrets. I chose Sapporo Classic Beer and some recommended sashimi. Squid, melt-in-your-mouth salmon, and fresh herring which is in season now. The squid was served with wasabi and surprisingly, it was a great combination! The salmon was indeed melt-in-your-mouth. The real surprise was the herring. The staff warned me about the small bones, but despite that, it was incredibly delicious! It was a happy trip with a new discovery at the very end!

Shirakaba set meal for 1790 yen and Taste exploration meal for 1790 yen. The rice for the meal was from Hokkaido, and it was enjoyable and reasonably priced. The taste was average, but being from the source, it felt more affordable compared to having it in Kanto. The restaurants at the airport were all crowded during lunchtime, but the turnover was fast, so we were able to sit down quickly. The buttered potatoes were very sweet and delicious.

I have used this place several times during my wait at the airport, and I always end up stopping by when I feel like having a drink. This time, I ordered from the spring menu instead of the regular menu. The spear squid and asparagus were both good, but the asparagus, in particular, was large and delicious.

Before heading home, I wanted to have Sapporo Classic beer and delicious seafood! As I was wandering around the airport, I was drawn to a luxurious menu on display and decided to dine in. The menu was extensive and I had a hard time choosing. When I mentioned that I didn't like oysters, they kindly switched it to scallops for me, which I really appreciated. The prices were also more affordable compared to other restaurants in the airport, making it easy to visit.

Second daughter and I had our last lunch in Hokkaido at the airport! She wanted to eat seafood bowl! She doesn't like sea urchin, so the one she had the other day doesn't count. She prefers salmon and salmon roe bowl. I had the Rebun bowl. We also ordered beer. There were about 6 places at the airport where you can eat seafood bowls. This place seemed relatively reasonable.

It's night at Chitose Airport. Hello, it's Kamen. This time, my stay in Sapporo was rushed, so I only got to taste sushi and ramen. At the airport, I struggled and ordered the luxurious Gokumidon seafood bowl, raw lamb Jingiskan, and a premium lemon sour. The Gokumidon looked good in the sample, but the actual bowl felt a bit soft, and the Jingiskan was brought in silently without the sizzle. The meat was cooked, but things like bell peppers seemed raw. The premium lemon sour was surprisingly delicious. Despite being busy, the staff's attitude was good, leaving a positive impression. Thank you for the meal.

We decided to dive into a restaurant we saw due to lack of time before our flight. This turned out to be a big mistake. The Shirakaba set meal for ¥1,790 each was a huge disappointment. Considering the price and the quality, it's no surprise. You can't expect to get a decent meal at this price point. The sashimi was watery and the sea urchin had a strong chemical smell. The tempura seemed like it was sitting in a hot showcase, making it lukewarm and the batter hard. The service was also not good. To end our trip to Hokkaido with this meal... I'll take this as a learning experience and make sure to eat something delicious in Tokyo.

Before boarding, there is no time to spare. I quickly entered a shop without a line and ordered the popular number one set without hesitation. It arrived in 5 minutes and I finished it in 15 minutes. The turnover rate is not bad. It meets the needs of customers. The taste is like the lunch set at a typical Japanese chain restaurant. But I'm fine with it because I don't have much time. I'll have to wait a bit longer until I can make reservations and go to a delicious restaurant with time to spare.

On March 5, 2023, in Sapporo, I visited the Hokkaido cuisine restaurant "Yukku Chitose Airport Terminal Building Store" and took the NH064 flight back. This marks the end of my three-night, four-day trip to Sapporo. I will be taking the express train from Sapporo Station. On the platform at Sapporo Station, there is a soba restaurant, a sight rarely seen in the Tokyo area. Perhaps many of the customers are on business trips. The train arrives, and the doors remain open for ventilation due to COVID-19 measures. It feels cool. It's time to say goodbye to the snow of Hokkaido. Before takeoff, I decided to have lunch at New Chitose Airport. I ordered the Shirakaba set meal for 1,790 yen, which included crab, sea urchin, tuna, salmon, sweet shrimp, squid, tempura, and steamed egg custard. The foil-grilled dish seemed to be salmon. I also tried the "Hokkaido Gochisou Kiwami Don" for 3,180 yen, which came with a miso soup. The dish had fewer toppings than shown in the menu photo, and the rice was visible. I enjoyed crab legs, ika, sweet shrimp, and ika. Instead of salmon, I had sardines. The scallops, rice, uni, and ikura were all delicious. It was time to catch my flight back home from the Hokkaido cuisine restaurant at Chitose Airport Terminal Building.

I visited this restaurant after having soup curry. I felt like having a little bit of alcohol, and also realized that I haven't really tried anything that feels distinctly Hokkaido (although I'm used to soup curry). The restaurant seemed to focus on seafood dishes, which makes sense since they promote it as Hokkaido cuisine. Since I was alone, I was seated at a table for two and ordered the "slightly tipsy set" for 1650 yen. I could choose from a few types of alcohol, and I went with a glass of sake (a brand called Sapporo Nishiki, served at room temperature). The set included salmon sashimi-like dish, shredded tarako, yellow squid salad, baby scallop simmered dish, squid sashimi, mushroom simmered dish, 2 pieces of zangi, and mini zaru soba. It was clearly a set meant to accompany drinks. After a short wait, the dishes arrived. While they looked luxurious, the portion size was actually quite small. It might be satisfying for women, but men might find it lacking. In terms of taste... honestly, it wasn't bad. I couldn't quite figure out the flavor of the squid salad, but the rest of the dishes paired well with the sake and I enjoyed them. The small portion of zaru soba for the finale was a bit disappointing, but it served as a light ending to the meal. Well, at least I could enjoy some drinks. However, the staff seemed a bit lacking in energy. Anyway, thank you for the meal.

Located on the 3rd floor of Chitose Airport Terminal Building, I found a restaurant with a quite long line even though it was 20 minutes before opening time. Unable to decide on which restaurant to choose for lunch, I saw this crowded place and thought it must be delicious since it offers Hokkaido-style cuisine. The restaurant turned out to be spacious with enough room between tables, making it comfortable to dine even with a suitcase. The staff were a mix of attentive and casual. I ordered the "Shirakaba Set Meal" for 1,790 yen, which included miso soup, a mini bowl of crab, sea urchin, and salmon roe, salmon and shrimp sashimi, chawanmushi, tempura, and buttered potatoes. It was labeled as the most popular set meal on the menu, and indeed, it offered a taste of various Hokkaido dishes all at once. The buttered potatoes were especially delicious. My family ordered the "Hakodate Set Meal" for 1,420 yen, which included miso soup, squid sashimi, and a variety of seafood tempura. It was tasty, although the horse mackerel tempura had a slightly fishy taste.

For the past 15 years or so, I have been using New Chitose Airport not just for boarding flights, but also for leisurely walks and plane-watching. I often eat at the food court, but on this day, I was considering trying Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) when I noticed the "Shirakaba Teishoku" at Hokkaido cuisine restaurant Yuck. It includes three mini seafood bowls (one with sea urchin!), sashimi, chawanmushi, tempura, and buttered potatoes. It looked delicious with such a generous amount of food for 1,730 yen. The restaurant was crowded during lunchtime, but I was seated immediately. The seafood rice bowl usually comes with regular rice, but I asked for vinegar rice instead. The food arrived, and I couldn't help but smile at the generous portions. The sea urchin had a strong taste of alum, but overall, the dishes were not of high quality, yet they captured the essence of Hokkaido. Personally, I really enjoyed the buttered potatoes! I wished I could have ordered some squid salted guts as an extra. Looking at their website, it seems like Yuck is part of the Shikanoyu Group. There are many dining options at New Chitose Airport, but Yuck is definitely a good choice to consider.

New Chitose Airport, had a light lunch at Hokkaido cuisine Yuck. I had the uni donburi that I couldn't have in Sapporo. - Fresh uni donburi (small) 3,180 yen - Scallop sashimi 960 yen My daughter wasn't very hungry, so she had the scallops. The fresh uni didn't have any fishy smell and melted in the mouth. Was it horse dung sea urchin? I'm not really sure what it was. Sorry about that. I'm not sure if it's cheap, expensive, or the market price, but it was delicious anyway. The scallop sashimi was quite disappointing. The menu didn't look very luxurious, but the taste was good. There were only 5 small scallops. It looked like they just thinly sliced one scallop. I wouldn't recommend the sashimi. Unfortunately, for about 1000 yen. The staff were all inattentive, seating a single customer at a table for 4, and us in a cramped seat next to a pillar near the entrance where they store luggage. Of course, they wouldn't pour tea until we asked. I realized that even with such poor service, they can make a profit at the airport. The service was low-level for the price. My daughter, who works part-time in the food industry, was also upset. It was nice to have uni as a memory of the trip... I was left with mixed feelings about whether it was expensive or not, but the experience will be a memorable one in many ways. Itadakimasu!

You can relax and enjoy a drink or meal at the airport. There are many seafood bowls and dishes available for tourists, as well as regular snacks. This time, I had a quick lunch before my flight, so I ordered a set with a mini bowl featuring sea urchin, salmon and roe, and crab, along with a draft beer. Considering the price, the quality was disappointing. The sea urchin lacked sweetness and had a strange smell, the sashimi seemed to be made with frozen salmon resulting in a watery texture, and the tempura seemed like it was pre-made. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
