On Friday night, I wanted to have a party in front of Hakata Station, but everywhere was fully booked. Feeling lost, I was fortunate that this restaurant was open. I have been to other shops in Rakutenchi before, but this was my first time here. However, I was happy with the generous portions as always. The taste was also excellent, catering to the common people's preferences. It seemed like they were short-staffed, and it looked tough for them.

I used to think Rakutenchi was a hidden gem, but now it has expanded with so many stores. The taste is definitely good. It's consistently delicious. I fully support the idea of delicious things expanding. I want to tell people from the city that this is the hotpot to try.

At the end of the year, I had a sudden errand in Hakata...! Unfortunately, it was the peak of year-end party season and everywhere was fully booked, so the only place I could make a reservation was a motsunabe (tripe hot pot) restaurant. I entered with some doubts. I ordered the motsunabe set, but it was like a college student's potluck... The quality of the taste was low, the garlic chives were not tasty at all, and the soup tasted better from a store-bought soup base. The tripe itself was cheap and thin, with no satisfying texture. By the way, the main customers in the restaurant were young people in their late teens to early twenties, and it might be uncomfortable for older customers. Please be aware. The operation of the restaurant also had some issues, with what seemed to be a new part-time staff member working hard but struggling to keep up with orders and making repeated mistakes. It was a disappointing memory in my Hakata stay.

I made a reservation for a course with all-you-can-drink option. After being seated, there was no service for over 20 minutes. I even confirmed upon arrival and had to call a staff member again to inform them of my course reservation. Finally, we were served some small dishes, but it took another 20 minutes after ordering for our drinks to arrive. It wasn't until over an hour after being seated that we were able to start eating the motsunabe. The male staff member at the register was chatting with two female customers for a long time, and other staff members were just standing around in the dining area. Although there were no issues with the ordering process or the last call for drinks, the overall service seemed very lacking. The table next to us also mentioned that they still hadn't received their water. There were signs on each table asking for tips to support the staff, but I believe that asking for support should come after providing at least a basic level of service. I received an email saying that I could get 1,200 T-points for visiting, but now I am unsure if the process will be handled properly.
