In Osaka Umeda, we went to an izakaya recommended by a friend, with a reservation made by the same friend. It was a place where you could enjoy all-you-can-drink sake with a wide variety of options, as well as other alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. The food exceeded our expectations and was incredibly delicious. The staff was energetic and the atmosphere was lively. It seemed like a popular spot, so making a reservation in advance is recommended. We tried a variety of dishes and drinks, including a selection of sashimi, grilled beef tongue, assorted tuna sashimi, a meat platter, boiled edamame, fried horse mackerel, homemade smoked dishes, and salmon and salmon roe clay pot rice. The highlight was the all-you-can-drink sake option with over 40 different types to choose from. It was a fantastic experience and definitely a must-visit spot for sake lovers.

Last time, this restaurant was well-received for its Gout Nabe hot pot☺️ This time, I enjoyed day drinking with "Meat Mabushi"--------------------------------------------------------FOOD✔︎ Japanese beef lean meat and beef tongue mabushi 1780✔︎ Special dashi grated yam 300--------------------------------------------------------Nice to see you again, Kura Bar! The restaurant was full of customers even at lunchtime! I've been curious about the Meat Mabushi for a while, so I'm happy to finally try it. The Meat Mabushi, made with Sendai beef, includes both tongue and lean meat, offering a soft texture and two different tastes which is great♀️1. First, eat it as it is2. Enjoy it with a raw egg on top for a different taste3. Finish by pouring the special dashi and adding condiments for a variety of flavors! You won't get tired of the different tastes, it's so enjoyable! I also recommend adding the grated yam. And here, you can also enjoy day drinking, with a standard drink plus over 40 types of sake for 3,480 yen, which is amazing, isn't it?! It's more cost-effective than ordering individual drinks. It's a sake lover's dream. Even if you don't know much about sake, the knowledgeable staff, who are sake enthusiasts, will guide you, so don't worry (they are really knowledgeable about it). Being able to serve yourself hot sake at your table is amazing. Sake and meat were a perfect combination! The rice ice cream I had for dessert was delicious too, you could really feel the texture of the rice, it's amazing. This restaurant has a variety of private rooms, so it's great for those who want to have a leisurely chat or for a date❤️❤️ The service is also excellent, making you want to come back even more♀️Thank you for the meal!

"The 'hitsumabushi' made with meat was delicious. Thinly sliced meat with soft eggs and rice! How could it be bad!! You can eat it as it is, or try it with raw egg and thickened broth, or clear broth. It's fun to try different ways of eating it - meat, egg, meat, egg, meat, egg. I arrived too early for my reservation, so I ended up at 'Soudouka Whitey Umeda' cafe. It's not good to have dessert first."

I made a reservation and was able to get in right away. It was very delicious. I liked that there were various ways to enjoy it, such as having eggs, so I didn't get bored until the end. The rice was firm and went well with the meat, making it delicious. The location of the restaurant is a bit difficult to find, so it's good to go with some extra time.

The taste is not bad, the service is okay, the alcohol is delicious, the price is a bit high but acceptable, but there is a feeling of not being satisfied, so it's just average. I would give it 3 stars. If it were during my student days, I might have been more satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Osaka Station, a little bit of a walk. It's located in a building near Oe-tenjin. I went with some business partners. The opening hours are from 6 pm, so even arriving 5 minutes early was not allowed. Since the entrance is right after getting off the elevator, there is no waiting area. Please be aware of this. The dishes are quite pricey, but very delicious. There are many types of sake, but if you try to drink all-you-can-drink, you'll end up getting very drunk. I thought this place is more suitable for younger people.

I tried the trending beef tongue hitsumabushi that was popular on social media. It cost 1780 yen, which was higher than what I saw on SNS. The beef tongue was delicious, but the broth lacked flavor, tasting like plain hot water. The glass cup was dirty, which was disappointing considering the price of the lunch. I wish they paid more attention to these small details.

I used it for lunch. I ordered a combination of Japanese beef lean meat and beef tongue on a bed of rice with a small portion of meat mabushi. The service was quick, and I enjoyed it while changing the taste. I also ordered sake for 500 yen. There were 40 types to choose from, and the staff asked about my preferences, which was wonderful. Reservations are recommended.

[Kura Bar] A Japanese sake bar with 40 different brands of sake and a variety of delicious dishes that go well with alcohol. I recently had the beef hitsumabushi for lunch at this restaurant. The lunch was delicious, so I knew the dinner would not disappoint! I decided to visit for dinner. The assorted 6 dishes for ¥1428, beef tongue sashimi for ¥1318, black wagyu beef for ¥1538, assorted three types of maguro sashimi for ¥1098, homemade smoked dish assortment for ¥1098, and salmon and ikura clay pot rice for ¥1428 were all delicious. They use carefully selected ingredients like black wagyu beef and fresh maguro that pair perfectly with sake. For ¥3480, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink from 40 different types of sake. If you're unsure of what to order, don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations. Enjoy!

It's beautiful. Luxurious and voluminous hitsumabushi with plenty of meat. First, eat it as it is, then pour the broth over it and eat it. I also tried adding the special extra broth and grated yam for an additional 300 yen. The rich broth was delicious ❤️ You can choose between beef tongue and Japanese beef red meat, both were great but I preferred the beef tongue. If you can't decide, they also have a mixed option. They have a wide variety of Japanese sake and cute cocktails to choose from. It's nice that you can relax in a private room. You'll want to go at night too. Everyone should definitely go.

Umeda, Kurabaru✨ Sonezaki Building 7F is a sake bar. I heard rumors about their all-you-can-drink sake course, so I made a reservation and went there. I reserved the Sake Enjoyment Special Plan (6600 yen)✨ The course includes:
- Special An Sauce Chawanmushi
- Assorted Tuna Sashimi
- Chef's Selection 6-item Assortment
- Beef Tongue Sashimi Low-temperature Cooked
- Recommended Black Wagyu 3-item Assortment
- Homemade Smoked Assortment
- Salmon and Salmon Roe Clay Pot Rice
Please note that the course content may vary depending on the season, so be sure to inquire in advance. Here are some highlights from the review:
- Assorted Tuna Sashimi: A selection of red meat, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna. All were delicious, especially the fatty tuna which was incredibly rich and melted in the mouth.
- Chef's Selection 6-item Assortment: A variety of dishes including plum crystal, cucumber with plum dressing, marinated tomato, wasabi pickles, firefly squid, and cream cheese. Each dish had a perfect balance of flavors and paired well with sake.
- Recommended Black Wagyu 3-item Assortment: Marbled, lean, and sea urchin roast beef. Each type of beef had its own unique qualities and was a delightful dish.
- Homemade Smoked Assortment: Quail, bacon, mackerel, and Camembert cheese smoked in-house. The aroma of the smoked dishes was enticing and complemented the sake perfectly.
- Salmon and Salmon Roe Clay Pot Rice: A beautifully presented clay pot rice with salmon and salmon roe. The flavorful broth and the combination of salmon and roe made for a satisfying end to the meal.
The sake all-you-can-drink option allows you to choose from approximately 40 varieties. The staff is knowledgeable about sake and can recommend options based on your preferences. Each table has a sake warmer, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your liking. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and it's a great place to enjoy sake with tasty dishes. The restaurant is located in a building along the road in Higashi Umeda, right in the middle of Umeda's bustling district. The entrance is a bit hard to find, so be careful. Take the elevator up to the 7th floor and you'll find a whole floor dedicated to an izakaya. This time, I tried the beef tongue lunch set which came with a variety of meats including beef tongue, wagyu lean meat, and a mix of meats. I chose the beef tongue hittsumabushi set this time. The lunch set arrived in a tiered box with meat on the top tier and salad and kimchi on the bottom. The beef tongue was tender and had a nice chewy texture. The fluffy egg sandwiched between the beef tongue and rice added a nice touch. To finish off, I had the hittsumabushi, which had a rich broth that needed to be used sparingly. It ended up feeling more like a beef tongue topped egg rice dish rather than hittsumabushi, but the taste was excellent. There's also a machine at each table to warm up sake, and they offer all-you-can-drink sake courses in the evening. It's not just about the aesthetics, the taste is also top-notch at this izakaya where you can enjoy a delicious beef tongue lunch. Thank you, Kura Bar!

After making a reservation, I realized how low the reviews were. It was as bad as the reviews said. There were five of us, and each shared dish cost 2000 yen, plus an additional 500 yen per person during peak hours. Just sitting down cost us 4500 yen. The food was terrible. I won't say anything negative, but it's probably best to avoid this place.

I made a reservation for all-you-can-drink sake! There were 40 types of sake available for all-you-can-drink! Some items were sold out, but overall it was amazing! The food is a bit pricey, but the taste is excellent! It may be a bit expensive for everyday use, but if asked for a recommendation for a place where you can enjoy delicious sake, I would definitely recommend this place! The semi-private room was comfortable and had a great atmosphere!

A restaurant with all-you-can-drink sake. Every dish is seasoned to go well with sake, so not only fish dishes but also meat dishes go well with sake. The staff are knowledgeable about sake and will teach you various things, so you can increase your knowledge. I ended up ordering without thinking about money and went a little crazy ( ̄▽ ̄)

"Japanese Sake and Rice Bar / Umeda" is an izakaya with a wide selection of sake at each table. They offer dishes like salmon and salmon roe clay pot rice, homemade smoked platter, three types of tuna sashimi, beef tongue sashimi, and wagyu beef. The restaurant has semi-private seating for 4-6 people and around 5 private rooms. It was almost full when visited on a weekday night, showing its popularity. The seafood and meat dishes pair well with sake, and the clay pot rice is a must-try. The sake warmer at each table allows you to enjoy sake from all over Japan at your preferred temperature. They offer a great deal on a drink-all-you-can menu with over 40 types of sake for 2980 yen. Even if you're not a sake expert, you can still have a great time here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It's a perfect place for friends, dates, company gatherings, or reunions. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at Japanese Sake and Rice Bar in Umeda. Thank you for the meal!"

From February to March, they offer a set menu of one-coin lunch and over 1000 yen lunch. This review is about the 50th meal in the over 1000 yen lunch challenge at "Nihonshu Komeyakura Bar Umeda" in Osaka. The reviewer ordered the Wagyu red meat hitsumabushi for 1980 yen, with an extra large portion of rice.

We visited the restaurant at night with two people. We couldn't order the course meal as there were only two of us, so we made a reservation for the all-you-can-drink option online before visiting. The seating was limited to 2 hours and the all-you-can-drink was until 1.5 hours, with the last order for food being 1 hour before. We ordered the hot pot rice 1 hour before the end, but it arrived about 15 minutes before the time limit and then we were suddenly told, "You have 10 minutes left at your table!!" It was disappointing!! Even though we ordered it 1 hour before, the rice in the hot pot still had a hard center and the taste was not good, which was a letdown. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not bad, and the staff were also good. The meat dishes were extremely delicious. It was just the ending that was disappointing. However, I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The amount of gout hot pot served for two people was impressive! I wasn't expecting much in terms of quantity, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was very satisfied. The variety of sake was extensive, and I received help in choosing my favorite sake! Above all, the steamed crab chawanmushi served as an appetizer was of incredibly high quality. The restaurant is a bit far from the station, but it's worth the visit!

The restaurant had many unsettling elements from the time of making the reservation. The gout hot pot was neither good nor bad... I probably won't come back. Overall, the individual menu items were expensive, and when I tried to order a sashimi platter, a female staff member asked, "This is just one piece at this price, is that okay?" Were there a lot of complaints?

A restaurant with a wide variety of Japanese sake. The interior has table seating, but also private rooms with a raised floor, which can be a bit scary since you can see below (lol). Each table has a machine for warming sake, which is exciting for sake lovers. First, I tried Oku-Harima sake, which had a strong alcohol presence and a yellow color. The staff is very good at explaining and will recommend based on your preferences. The appetizer was steamed crab custard. Then, a plate with 6 dishes: celery with salted kelp, tomato salad, firefly squid marinated in soy sauce, umeshu jelly, beef tongue simmered in sauce, and sake lees cream cheese. The assorted tuna sashimi included medium fatty tuna, fatty tuna, and lean tuna. The beef tongue sashimi is dipped in egg and soy sauce, which goes well together. The main dish was a gout hot pot with oysters, shirako (milt), monkfish liver, anglerfish, and salmon roe. The soup was a sweet miso base with a rich flavor from the seafood. It was packed with ingredients, more than enough for two people. We wanted to have porridge as a finishing touch, but we were too full. However, there's always room for dessert. We tried the adult Japanese sake cream soda, which was delicious. You can choose the type of sake to add and there are three flavors available. The variety of sake was enjoyable, and the staff's explanations were interesting, not too technical. They shared fun facts like how a certain brewer named a sake after his beloved wife. Highly recommended for sake lovers and beginners alike!

I used it for lunch during my trip to Osaka. It was a quiet building, and we arrived a little earlier than our reservation time, but the young female staff greeted us politely. It was before 12 o'clock, so there were no other customers in the restaurant besides us, and no one else came in until we left. The seats were in a private room and very comfortable. The food was served quickly, and it was very delicious! I highly recommend adding the recommended topping of grated yam. The only thing that bothered me a little was the lively conversation between the staff that could be heard even in the private room... They seemed to be getting along well, and it wasn't a negative conversation, so it wasn't too uncomfortable for me. (Maybe because we were the only ones in the restaurant) Anyway, it was the last meal of our Osaka trip, and we were able to leave satisfied! We are already talking about wanting to go back when we visit Osaka again. ^ ^
