<Product> ■ Hokkaido Strolling Path Haskap (8 pieces) ... 860 yen including tax - Ingredients: Chocolate (domestically produced), wheat flour, haskap sauce {maltose, haskap (Hokkaido), reduced malt syrup, sugar, malt syrup}, sugar, butter, liquid eggs, shortening, dried haskap {haskap (Hokkaido)}, salt / coloring (beet red, gardenia), emulsifier, trehalose, leavening agent, acidulant, flavoring, thickener (pectin), antioxidant (V.E), (contains wheat, eggs, dairy products, soybeans in some parts) A confectionery with the concept of "enjoying Hokkaido fruits". It is a sweet treat made with Hokkaido haskap jam sandwiched between chocolate and cookies. The cookie is crispy, the chocolate is smooth, and the sweet and sour haskap jam flows out. The thickness of the chocolate adds to the satisfaction. This is an easy-to-eat snack with a delicious haskap flavor.

I visited the Keio Department Store Shinjuku store for the Autumn Hokkaido Fair. During my second visit, I was disappointed to find out that they were not serving the parfait that I wanted, so I decided to buy the "Yukizuru" ice cream to take home. The prices have doubled since the last time I had it, but I still bought both the buttercream and premium flavors. The ice cream needs to be refrigerated and has a shelf life of 10 days to 2 weeks.

I was taken to a place by a former colleague in Chitose ◆ Chikuwa Bread (Tuna Mayo) Recommended by my colleague's husband, the chikuwa bread in Hokkaido was surprisingly delicious ◆ Yukizuru (Haskap) Personally, I associate Haskap with Morimoto and it was very delicious.

I purchased the bread recommended by the popular free announcer Hiromi Yamamoto, who has been a reader of the Ryusei Bread Review since her student days. The Caspian Hearth (half) priced at 170 yen (tax included) is made from Caspian Sea yogurt starter and fermented, resulting in a bread that is soft all the way to the crust, moist, and delicious. It seems easy to customize, so I plan to use it for camp cooking as recommended by Hiromi. Caspian Sea yogurt was a boom about 18 years ago, but its long-lasting popularity is a testament to its quality. Even the half size is large! It is reasonably priced and pairs well with quality Secoma wine.

I went there around 6 p.m. on Sunday. There was only one dorayaki left. There were several other sold-out items as well. The dorayaki had large beans and a mild sweetness, and the dough was chewy and very delicious. There was a spacious eat-in space, so I would like to use it next time.

Morimoto, a popular confectionery and bakery shop originating from Chitose City. They offer a wide variety of Western confectionery, Japanese sweets, and snacks. While they used to be known for their bread, including in Sapporo, they have become less common recently. However, their main store still sells bread. They have a good selection of basic bread, including baked and sweet bread. They also offer bread by weight. There are plenty of delicious bread options available! I will definitely be going back.

When I went on a trip to Hokkaido, I saw some Haskap jewelry that I was considering buying, but then I found it on sale at a nearby MaxValu store for 40% off because it was close to its expiration date. I'm glad I didn't buy it at full price. I think Rokkatei is tastier.

I visited on a business trip on a weekday morning. They open at 9 am, and it was bustling right from the start. They sell souvenirs sweets and bread. I had bread for breakfast. I also had my favorite apple pie and a few other kinds. It may be hard to see in the photo, but the pie crust is filled with fruit right up to the edge. It has a great texture. I give it a high score! Good!

At Morimoto, the main store is truly exceptional, it reminds me of the past. I'm curious about the limited edition products at the main store, like dorayaki and madeleines. I think I'll go with the madeleines, the packaging with the main store's seal looks fancy. At 270 yen, it's a bit of a luxury for me. They use Hokkaido honey and fermented butter for the madeleines, and coat them with sugar infused with lemon juice once baked. It sounds delicious. But maybe I had too high expectations, as I wasn't really impressed. My mother enjoyed the mochi-filled monaka that I bought her though.

I went to Morimoto after a long time. I bought a limited edition Haskap parfait and mini canelé to take out. The drink machine was under maintenance, so I had a café au lait. The soft serve was loaded with plenty of Haskap. It would have been better if there was more Haskap jewelry on top. The bread rolls were just lined up without the wrap being removed. It would be nice to have a wrap over the whole thing. My daughter said the mini canelé was lacking, but I thought it was delicious.

Limited edition Strawberry Jewelry made with Hokkaido-grown Suyahime strawberries. When I visited Hokkaido in April, I made sure to buy their famous Haskap berries. Unfortunately, the Strawberry Jewelry was sold out in Hokkaido, but I found a 4-piece set at the Hokkaido product fair at Matsuzakaya department store in Nagoya. Now I can enjoy the taste of spring with these Strawberry Jewelry treats.

Caspian's bread is incredibly delicious! It's fluffy, yet full of flavor. I might just want to buy this bread alone. It's a bit pricey at around 400 yen, but it's worth it for the generous portion and satisfying taste. I definitely want to buy it again.

I went to the Spring Hokkaido Fair on the 7th floor of Keio Department Store in Shinjuku from March 29th to April 11th. I bought "Blissful Strawberry Daifuku" and "Dream of Haskap" for 1400 yen, which were limited to 30 sets per day. The Haskap milk bean paste was a bit disappointing as it tasted a bit strange with the strawberries. The mochi was soft and delicious, even when cold. I also had the "Yukitsuru Plain" for 210 yen, which was a perfect mix of sweet and salty. I would like to try the Yuki Mushi Souffle and the doll-shaped cakes next time, but they only come in sets at the fair. I also saw a whole butter cake that looked delicious, but I wish they sold slices too.

The shop is located about a 10-minute walk from Chitose Station. It is the main store of a famous Hokkaido souvenir shop known for its Haskap berry jewelry. Hello (^o^)/ One of the highlights of staying in Chitose is visiting this shop. While it may give off a Western confectionery vibe, they also offer traditional Japanese sweets like dorayaki and bread. My favorite item is the handmade dorayaki from the Chitose main store (1 for 250 yen). I couldn't get it last time, so I made sure to get it this time p(^^)q I went in the morning and was able to get it (~▽~@)♪♪♪ The soft and flexible dough with a generous amount of mildly sweet red bean paste sandwiched in between makes for a delightful treat. Even though it got a bit squished in my bag, the taste remained unchanged. Next time I stay in Chitose, I want to try their cakes. They look delicious and reasonably priced! Thank you for the meal (^_^)v (Review rating ★3.32)

Mori Moto is a famous sweets shop in Chitose, Hokkaido. Their Dorayaki Nouveau uses freshly harvested red beans from Tokachi. The red bean paste, cooked slowly with delicious water from Chitose, retains the texture of the beans and allows you to enjoy the natural aroma and sweetness of the red beans. Their Yukizuru Premium features a crispy and light texture of choux pastry. It is as white as a crane in the snow.

The appearance is a spacious, elongated space like an interior showroom. Its name is Morimoto Honten. As I approached, I thought it was a bakery? It is quite large indeed. Morimoto Honten offers a variety of cakes, sweets, and pastries, in addition to bread. I was excited to enter. While I initially planned to get something to go, it seemed that eating in was also an option. I decided on the Basque cheesecake from the cakes displayed in the showcase based on intuition. They also had limited edition shortcakes and Mont Blanc, which I look forward to trying next time. I thought I had stopped eating snacks like potato chips, but recently, as a sweets addict, I find myself facing many temptations. #BasqueCheesecake #Cheesecake #Cake #Sweets #Sweetslover #Bakery #MorimotoHonten #Bread #HokkaidoGourmet #HokkaidoSweets

Morimoto is one of the leading confectionery shops in Hokkaido, with a shop also located at Chitose Airport. While their main store offers a variety of cakes, bread, Western sweets, and Japanese sweets, I am definitely a dorayaki fan! They have a wide selection of dorayaki flavors available. I finally got to try their handmade dorayaki, which is only available at the main store. The handmade dorayaki costs 250 yen and has a shelf life of 2 days. The skin is moist and fluffy, with a generous amount of sweet red bean paste. They bake the skins in-store, so you can always find freshly made dorayaki on display. I also bought the Dorayaki Nouveau for 200 yen, which is a seasonal limited edition dorayaki made with new red beans. It makes for a great souvenir as it has a longer shelf life, but compared to the handmade dorayaki, I found the skin and red bean paste to be lacking. I definitely want to go back for the handmade dorayaki! By the way, at Chitose Airport, they only sell packs of 5 dorayaki.

I went for a stroll in Chitose! I made my way to Morimoto Honten, which is a really new store! (laughs) I actually preferred the old store I visited long ago. Oh! I used to like Morimoto before they expanded to multiple locations. It's been a while since I last visited Morimoto. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but since I went in, maybe I'll get some bread? (laughs) I ended up buying a cake roll for myself and a cream bun for my wife. We'll have them as snacks later. The cake roll has been sold since 1949 and is a long-standing popular item. The bread is soft and the cream is not too sweet, with a soft buttercream (or margarine cream?) taste. I quite like it. My wife's cream bun had a delicious orange-colored cream. So, thank you for the delicious treat! If I have the chance to visit again, I'll definitely buy the cake roll. (^^)/ *Just to clarify, Morimoto is a confectionery shop.

As a newlywed, I went on my honeymoon to Hokkaido. I used to visit Hokkaido quite often, but I haven't been able to go recently due to my busy work schedule and difficulty taking long breaks. I am nearing retirement, and my energy and stamina are not what they used to be when I was younger, so my plans for a Hokkaido trip have been put on hold. That's me, a sweets lover, born in the Showa era. However, I found a solution - I always make sure to visit Hokkaido product fairs! I always come across them! So, I got my hands on my favorite sweets from Morimoto, the "Hokkaido Butter Sablé Hokufukuro." The packaging is cute on the outside, but the sablé inside looks a bit rugged! I love this contrast! The sablé is rich in butter and has the perfect crunchiness that I like. This sablé is a perfect match for my taste. Morimoto is famous for their "Haskap Jewelry," but this classic butter sablé recipe is also excellent. It's a perfect autumn night to endlessly indulge in these delicious treats.

Today I had a Caspisa Mont Cream Cheese Sandwich and a Cake Roll at Mori Moto. This sandwich is over ¥400, but it's so delicious with chunks of cheese in it, even though it's high in calories. It's cold outside, so I also had a hot cafe au lait for ¥240 using a free ticket. It used to be only ¥100 before.

This is the main store of a famous Hokkaido souvenir shop known for its hascup jewelry. It is located around a 10-minute walk from Chitose Station. Personally, I am a fan of their "dorayaki" (red bean pancake). Hello! I visited Morimoto before dinner to seek out the taste of the dorayaki I bought last time. What?! The building has been rebuilt into a very stylish one. I had no idea! I stayed in Chitose this time for the handmade dorayaki, but they were completely sold out by the evening. It seems they have become very popular. So, I purchased other dorayaki flavors and a popular item called "Tortoise," which is a long-standing bestseller at Morimoto. Tortoise is irresistible for chocolate lovers. I'm sorry, but there are many items at Morimoto that are more flavorful than their signature hascup jewelry, right? I am planning a "handmade dorayaki" revenge trip. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal. (Review rating: ★3.33)
