Um, personally, I really love motsu (offal). I like ulte (tripe), korikori (tripe), hatsu (heart), tail, and minosando (intestines). Akasen (red offal) is also delicious. I like raw liver, senmai (white offal), and heart as well!!! There are other places that serve delicious motsu dishes, but I'll skip that and talk about the wine, cheese, and Hormon Daisuke Sakaba Horumaru motsu nabe!!! Honestly, I didn't have high expectations because it was chosen by my colleagues, but the all-you-can-eat and drink course was super worth it. It's a great deal for both drinkers and big eaters. They have a river of sake! Isn't that amazing? They also had various types of imo shochu. I mostly had kakuhai balls. Oh, the wine wasn't of very good quality though. Now, about the motsu nabe, they only serve small intestines! This is really delicious. It's tender and sometimes you get really big pieces in it! How big you ask? About the size of a cat's paw. Normally, with that size, it can be tough, right? But this one is super tender and juicy. Motsu may look oily, but it actually has half the calories of meat, making it healthy. It's a collagen bomb, but it's refreshing and delicious! And the highlight here is... the champon noodles!!! They are seriously delicious. They're tender with a good bite, and when you chew, it's like a satisfying pop! These champon noodles were the best I've ever had. I'm usually not a fan of champon noodles... they're often too thick and lack chewiness, and many places have a strong wheat flavor. I want to try these champon noodles with ramen broth next time! So delicious. And you can have unlimited refills. The best, right? Oh, you can change the flavor of the hot pot, but miso is the best. I tried my colleague's soy sauce flavor. Miso is the best!!! So, next time, I'll definitely revisit with my usual crew. They're picky about taste, but it should be fine. ----- Originally, this place seems to be famous in Kumamoto. They say the horse sashimi is delicious, but it was an all-you-can-eat day, so I didn't try it! I'll definitely try it next time! Rating Basis Atmosphere → Stylish. Suitable for a date. The toilet is also clean and Western-style. Hand drying is with paper towels. ◎ Food/Taste → I found two of the best dishes ever, so it's a 4.5! I didn't try the horse sashimi, so 0.5 is pending! CP (Cost-Performance) → The cost-performance of the all-you-can-eat and drink is abnormal. Is it really that good? → (・∀・) Good!! Service → They came quite quickly when called. Alcohol/Drinks → The drink choices for the all-you-can-drink were amazing. They also had Sato at a reasonable price! Overall → It has become my super favorite. Ahhh, I want to eat there again...

Namba, Hakata motsunabe Ooyama ✨ A motsunabe restaurant in Namba. I happened to find it on Tabelog and decided to go ❗️ However, this visit was last summer so it's quite an old post (lol). I went as soon as they opened, so the restaurant was empty. But it quickly filled up and there were lots of celebrity signatures at the entrance, so it seems to be a popular place. I don't see it much on Instagram, so maybe I just didn't know about it. We ordered: - Motsunabe in soy sauce flavor (1550 yen ✖️2) - Horse sashimi platter (2350 yen) - All-you-can-drink (1500 yen ✖️2) ✨ The all-you-can-drink option is available when you order motsunabe for the number of people in your group, either as a course or a la carte. ● Motsunabe I chose the light soy sauce flavor as my stomach was feeling heavy. It had plenty of leeks and cabbage, so you could get a lot of vegetables and it was healthy ❗️ The motsu had just the right amount of fat and was delicious. ● Horse sashimi platter There was horse sashimi on the menu, which is rare, so we had to order it. It came with 5 types: marbled, lean, mane, fillet, and tenderloin, all from Kumamoto. The lean meat was quite tender, indicating they used good quality meat. The motsunabe and horse sashimi paired really well with beer, so the all-you-can-drink option was a great choice ❗️ They also have a la carte all-you-can-drink, and with horse sashimi and motsunabe, it's a very versatile restaurant. They offer dishes like champon noodles and porridge as a finishing touch, so you can enjoy until the end. I think it's a very convenient place. Be sure to visit before it gets too hot ✨

In August of the 5th year of Reiwa, the business hours are from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The miso-flavored beef tripe hot pot for 2 people is 3100 yen, cherry blossom yukhoe is 1200 yen, 1.5 servings of beef tripe meat is 1100 yen, cabbage is 300 yen, champon noodles for 2 people is 600 yen, and a draft Suntory Premium Malt beer is 540 yen. It's great to be able to enjoy delicious tripe hot pot in Osaka.

I had miso hot pot, umakyu (grilled beef), fried cartilage, and grilled motsu (offal) at the izakaya. We cooked the hot pot ourselves. All the dishes were quite delicious and the restaurant was clean. I liked that they had semi-private rooms. Thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It was quite lively and crowded with groups of people. The tables were close together, so I had to be mindful of the people next to me. The course included: Special barrel-fermented kimchi, Yuzu vinegar tripe, Fried dish (choice of cartilage or tripe), Grilled dish (choice of premium Japanese beef such as rib or belly), Tripe hot pot (1.5 servings, choice of miso, soy sauce, salt, or spicy miso soup), Champon noodles. I chose the cartilage and belly options. The kimchi was quite spicy. The main dish, the tripe hot pot, had delicious soup. However, I felt that there was not enough tripe. Towards the end, the soup became very rich and spicy, so I had to drink water multiple times. Overall, I enjoyed the tripe hot pot after a long time.

I wanted to have a meal at a calm restaurant due to the current situation, so I made a reservation online. The restaurant is located in an area known for motsunabe (offal hot pot), with a popular motsunabe restaurant next to a hotel. I chose the recommended course, and opted for the miso flavor for the motsunabe. Although I have never tried authentic Hakata motsunabe, the taste was quite good. The course included all-you-can-drink option, and besides motsunabe, there were also grilled and fried dishes to choose from beef and horse meat, which was satisfying. There was a question mark regarding the behavior of one of the staff members, which left me feeling a bit disappointed, but I assume not everyone is like that. Despite that, it was a delicious meal once again!

On this day, as autumn deepened and it started to get cooler, it was the perfect time to crave hot pot.ヽ(´▽`)/ I apologize for not progressing with the October reviews (>人<;) This is a restaurant specializing in motsu nabe, with its main branch located in Kyushu. "Hakata Motsu Nabe Ooyama" When it comes to motsu nabe, the famous Hakata restaurant "Ooyama" is well known, but this "Ooyama" is a long-established restaurant that has been serving motsu nabe in Kumamoto for nearly 20 years. I haven't had motsu nabe in Fukuoka, the home of motsu nabe, but I love motsu nabe so muchヽ(*^ω^*) I also enjoy motsu nabe in Osaka, so I look forward to it when it gets cold! I heard that this new and reasonably priced restaurant is worth a visit. The interior of the restaurant exudes a sense of luxury. Temperature checks and disinfection are done thoroughly d(^_^o) There are spacious sunken kotatsu seating areas. A soothing space with jazz music playing in the background... New restaurants are refreshing, aren't they♡ It seems suitable for a girls' night out or a date. There are semi-private rooms for effective COVID-19 measures. They can accommodate up to 65 people for banquets! (However, banquets are currently on hold due to the pandemic) My partner reserved the famous "Hikari Course" with all-you-can-drink.ヽ(´▽`)/ ⚫︎ Hikari Course with all-you-can-drink 3980 yen (tax included) - Special selection: Barrel-aged kimchi, yuzu motsu, fried items (minced chicken tempura), grilled items (beef harami) You can choose from beef harami, beef belly, horse harami, or horse sagari♫ - Motsu nabe (soy sauce) You can choose from miso, soy sauce, umami miso, or salt♫ - Vegetable assortment: Cabbage, burdock, plenty of garlic chives♫ - Champon noodles With this content, at this price!!! And it comes with all-you-can-drink!!! To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but I was more than satisfied with the generous contentヽ(*^ω^*) The service was very polite and kind♡ Not only the motsu nabe, but also the fried and grilled items that came with the course were perfect for beer! There was no delay in getting the beer we ordered, which is often a problem with all-you-can-drink services, and we were able to enjoy our time until the end ( ´ ▽ ` ) The highlight was definitely the pride-worthy motsu! It was firm and full of collagen♡ They source top-quality Japanese beef directly from contracted ranches that thoroughly manage quality. The small intestine was so tender and had no peculiar taste, with a combination of fatty and tender meat that was melt-in-your-mouth♡ It's like the "maruchou" at a yakiniku restaurant☆〜(ゝ。∂)I truly felt the advantage of direct delivery from local sources! There were "Kumamon" figures scattered throughout the restaurant, and at first, I was puzzled as to why Kumamon in Hakata? But now it makes sense\(//∇//)\ They are currently operating with shortened hours due to the self-restraint period, but I hope such a great restaurant will continue to thrive!! (๑>◡<๑) Thank you for the delicious meal(^人^)

We left Namba Walk and headed towards Nishi-Shinsaibashi. We had made a reservation for dinner at Ooyama, a popular Hakata motsunabe restaurant. There are actually two different restaurants with similar names, one in Kumamoto and the other in Hakata. We went to the one in Hakata. We opted for the popular Hikari course which included a 90-minute all-you-can-drink option for 3980 yen. The course included special barrel-aged kimchi, yuzu motsu, choice of fried items (cartilage or mino-kara), choice of grilled items (beef harami, beef bara, horse harami, horse sagari - we chose beef harami), motsunabe (we chose soy sauce flavor), and a vegetable platter. The food was surprisingly delicious and the value for money was excellent. The broth in the motsunabe was especially tasty, and we enjoyed every dish. The only downside was that the table got a bit crowded with all the dishes coming out quickly, but overall, it was a great dining experience. We would love to try different types of nabe here in the future.

Around Minami, I have almost conquered all the motsunabe restaurants, except for the one in Oyama. The exterior of the restaurant in Oyama has a calm vibe, but the inside is quite lively. The seats are separated by curtains, which is reassuring. I ordered the Hikari course. For the fried chicken, you can choose between gizzards or cartilage. I chose cartilage, but it was quite heavy on the stomach. For the meat, I chose Harami from the four options. It's not as good as the Harami from a yakiniku restaurant. After finishing the hot pot, additional ingredients and noodles were served, adding a substantial amount of food. You can choose the flavor, and the soup was on the salty side. It was nice that the staff came to refill the soup without having to be asked.

This time, I visited the restaurant with my family! As always, it feels like coming to a public bath with the traditional shoe lockers and clean interior (although there is no place to hang your jacket...but still). We enjoyed the "Number 1 Popular" refreshing yuzu motsu and the "Ultimate Hakata Motsu Nabe" this time! We ordered the Hikari Course (6 dishes) ♡ The course includes... 1. Special barrel-aged kimchi 2. Yuzu motsu 3. Fried food (cartilage or tripe in spicy sauce) 4. Grilled special beef skirt, Grilled special beef loin, or Grilled special horse meat, Grilled special horse skirt 5. Motsu nabe (serves 1.5 people) 6. Champon rice ball ♪ For number 3, if there are 4 or more people, you get both options! For dish 4, choose the one with the ◎ mark. They are all delicious (^^)/ Horse meat has a strong flavor, but I like it ♡ We chose soy sauce flavor for the motsu nabe this time. Even the Hakata locals were satisfied♪ It's the best with plenty of burdock! The only little complaint is that the yuzu pepper was missing from the yuzu motsu at the beginning haha. Yuzu pepper is a must for vinegar motsu! Oh, since it was a weekday, we were able to use this coupon! ★Big Thanksgiving★ Weekday-only 3-hour all-you-can-drink! (Excluding Fridays, Saturdays, and the day before holidays) 【Popular】Hikari Course 6 dishes for 5140 yen → tax included 3980 yen ★This volume with a 3-hour all-you-can-drink is a great deal! They even have draft beer and premium malts! It would be perfect if they included a dessert for a palate cleanser, but oh well haha. Mixing various drinks in champon style, I may have gotten a bit tipsy, but that's a secret ('Д') If you want to eat motsu nabe in Osaka, this place is highly recommended! I haven't been to any other places though haha.

This was my first time trying motsu (offal) and also my first time trying horse meat. I was recommended this place as a delicious spot for motsu near Namba. The motsu was tasty, but what really stood out was the horse meat. Both were first-time experiences for me. I definitely want to go back to eat horse meat again. I think I'm hooked.

Had a year-end party with work colleagues at a place recommended by a friend who knows the owner, Mr. Oyama. The restaurant near Amerikamura in Shinsaibashi was very clean and got us excited right from the entrance. We ordered a course menu. The photos show a platter of horse sashimi and motsu nabe (tripe hot pot). You can choose from salt, soy sauce, or miso for the motsu nabe soup, and we went with salt this time. It was delicious! The horse sashimi was thick and satisfying to eat! The other dishes in the course were mostly fried foods, so my stomach was a bit... It's a great place for a group gathering. I'll definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation in advance and visited the restaurant. Although there were many seats, it was steadily crowded even on weekdays, and by the time I left (after 8 pm), it seemed to be full. I ordered the Hikari Course (with all-you-can-drink), kimchi, yuzu motsu, two types of fried food, grilled upper harami, motsu nabe (spicy miso), chanpon tamago + additional vegetable kimchi. There was no particular impression about the kimchi and yuzu motsu. The two types of fried food were seasoned on the heavier side, and I felt quite heavy in terms of quantity. The grilled upper harami had a volume comparable to that of a yakiniku restaurant, and the taste was delicious. At first, the motsu nabe was slightly thin in flavor, but as I ate more, the umami increased and it became quite tasty. However, there was a lot of motsu, and it became greasy and difficult to eat towards the end. In terms of price, the portion size was good and it would be suitable for a drinking party. I didn't think the quality of the motsu itself or the overall taste quality was as high as the star rating for this restaurant. I may have had too high expectations.

Came to the restaurant with three friends who recommended it as delicious. First, we tried the miso flavor for two people. It was a bit bland. Maybe we didn't mix it well? Next, we had the salt flavor for two people. This one had a good taste and was delicious. Feeling adventurous, we tried the spicy miso flavor for two people. It had more flavor than the miso, but it was just okay. Personally, I prefer the nearby offal hotpot restaurant. Thank you for the meal today as well.

I chose the soy sauce flavor. The motsu was also very delicious. I forgot to mention that I wanted to use 500 points when making the reservation, so I forgot to have it deducted. I wonder why discounts like this one, which are written in the reservation details, are not automatically applied and you have to mention it yourself.

As summer approaches, I tend to stay away from hot pot, but on a surprisingly cool Wednesday, I decided to try this place without a reservation. The entrance poster mentioned it was the first store in Osaka, and about half of the customers inside. The menu offered three base flavors: miso, soy sauce, and salt, and I chose the miso flavor. The meat was prepared well and had no unpleasant smell, making it delicious and perfect with beer and barley shochu. We finished with ochazuke. Two days later, my skin was glowing thanks to the collagen effect. As long as the air conditioning is working, it's a good idea to visit a summer hot pot specialty store when it's not crowded. Thank you for the meal.

I had motsunabe (offal hot pot) and horse meat yukhoe (Korean-style raw meat) for dinner. I ordered them with a salt flavor, and there was no unpleasant smell in the motsu. The noodles and porridge for the finishing touch were very delicious. However, the seating style was a traditional Japanese style with a sunken hearth, and the tables were packed closely together, so it felt a bit cramped and not ideal for a date.

The dishes that come out after ordering are out of order, additional hot pot ingredients come out after the hot pot is empty, and other dishes take a long time to arrive. There is no receipt for payment, and no card receipt. Unbelievable! You can't even see how much was charged on the card.
