Recently, I was invited to visit a restaurant by a former regular at "Saeki" in Kitashinchi, who had secured a platinum seat before the revival of the previous establishment. It was my first visit to the restaurant, which seems to be a trend these days with full names. I walked from Osaka Station's Sakurabashi exit to Kitashinchi, following my usual route, and arrived at the restaurant located in the back of the building where "Saeki" used to be. I took a seat at the platinum counter with 8 seats. The 43-year-old chef from Wakayama appeared and we started with an omakase course. The ingredients were carefully selected and the work was delicate. The chef, a native of Kansai, was an unpretentious entertainer with great adaptability in conversation that could engage any customer. The service by the female owner was also excellent, which explains the popularity of the restaurant. Currently, the restaurant has a rating of 3.74 on Tabelog.

It's a high-end restaurant, but it has a down-to-earth atmosphere which is nice. The well-coordinated hospitality feels like a comedy duo act. The selection of sake that was recommended was perfect with the dishes. Thank you for the meal. Oh, I forgot to take a picture of the tuna...

From start to finish, everything I ate was delicious. The interactions between the head chef and the hostess were also fantastic, and I had a wonderful time. I will definitely come back again! It's a wonderful restaurant that feels like a treat. The fatty tuna was also delicious! The miso soup at the end was also tasty.

I went to Osaka Kitashinchi. It's a shop run by Mr. Murakami, who used to work with Mr. Saeki. I received his business card when we met at another shop before, so I decided to visit. The master and the hostess provided great service, making it feel like being in a theater. The sushi is not that different from Kanto, but the shinko (young gizzard shad) was surprising with 7 pieces. The sushi and sake are perfect in taste and quality. The atmosphere is luxurious with a counter seating for 8 people. They offer a wide variety of sake that is easy to drink. The ingredients are very fresh and high-quality. This popular restaurant is located right in the heart of Kita-Shinchi. I will definitely be returning.

I was invited by a friend for my first visit to this restaurant, and it seemed like my friend was also visiting for the first time. The other customers were all regulars, but the female owner was so friendly that I didn't feel out of place and enjoyed the delicious meal. I went there for the first time. Depending on the restaurant, there are various dishes before you get to the sushi, and you may end up quite full before reaching the sushi. However, Sushimura Kamijiro is a sushi restaurant that feels like a true sushi restaurant. It was delicious.

The dishes we received were from Miyagi Prefecture - bonito, spring chrysanthemum, kikyo yam, Saroma Lake oysters, red snapper, kawahagi with liver and homemade kelp soy sauce, herring, boxed sushi, grilled dish, mountain crab shabu-shabu, nigiri sushi - tuna toro, sardine, raw octopus, mackerel, smoked small bowl, Hokkaido sea urchin, homemade salmon roe, squid, Pacific saury, shrimp, conger eel, toro, tamago, Tears Red beer, highball, sake, cold and delicious. Impressed by the chef's skills in appetizers and nigiri, and by the landlady's choice of sake. Sushi was satisfying!

Jiro Murakami at Kitashinchi is the best recommendation. I am a huge fan and love everything about it. He always changes up his Japanese and his care and service are outstanding. It had been a while since I last visited Jiro Murakami's restaurant. Yesterday, I felt that the rice lacked a bit of power compared to usual. Overall, the meal was deliciously put together, but I felt that the rice usually has more distinctive characteristics. Nonetheless, it was still delicious.

I visited Jiro Murakami's restaurant after a long time. The taste was consistently delicious. I could tell the quality of the ingredients and the chef's dedication to his craft. The careful preparation of the ingredients enhances their flavors even more. The sushi rice was also delicious with just the right amount of red vinegar. The Kumamoto sea eel, in particular, was amazing with its thick and crispy exterior, cooked to perfection.

Murakami Jiro is a master of deliciousness and consistency. Every visit, from start to finish, the food is always delicious. The head chef is friendly and easy to talk to, and the hostess is also friendly and easy to chat with. The service is excellent, living up to their Michelin star rating. I definitely want to come back again. The sushi was top-notch.

I was told that the chef had trained at Sushi Sae, so I was personally very interested in trying it out. The sushi was delicious as expected, but the nigiri left a lasting impression on me. The small red vinegar rice and well-prepared toppings created a strong sense of unity. It was delicious! I wanted to eat more if possible, but the atmosphere of the restaurant closing made me give up... The friendly response from the chef was also great.

Jiro Murakami really loves the sushi at this Osaka restaurant. They offer a wide variety of dishes, including incredibly large tuna that is absolutely delicious. The appetizers also pair perfectly with the drinks. It's a great place for people who enjoy drinking. The couple who run the restaurant seemed to be having a lot of fun working together, which was lovely to see.

The restaurant has only 8 seats at an L-shaped counter, so you can feel the live action up close with the chef. The efficient hostess and the chef's banter provide a great atmosphere. The course includes various dishes like appetizers, sashimi, grilled fugu, sushi, and more. The highlight is the sea urchin sushi handed directly to you. Overall, it's a fantastic dining experience.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Osaka is Jiro Murakami's. It's a really great place and highly recommended. The prices are high, but the sushi and every dish are delicious. The crab hot pot is amazing, and everything in the restaurant is just so tasty!!! There are overflowing praises from customers. They also have a great selection of Japanese sake, and the service is excellent. I love it.
