Visited Goncha Links Umeda store for the second time. It was crowded on a Sunday afternoon, with long lines at the register and for pick-up. The seating inside was almost full. I ordered the Peach Frozen Tea (620 yen) through mobile order and enjoyed it while sitting inside. I have had peach drinks several times before, and this year's was refreshing and delicious as always. I especially love the peach jelly, so I'm thinking of adding extra toppings next time. The staff seemed busy but they were efficient and friendly. I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal! :)

I had never been to Gong Cha despite its popularity, so this was my first time. I went around 10 in the morning, so I was the only one in the store. Feeling a bit lost since it was my first time, I managed to place my order. Since it was my first time, I went with the most basic option, the Black Milk Tea with added pearls. I thought tapioca was included in the set because Gong Cha is famous for it, but you actually have to add it separately. I like my drinks sweet, so I asked for extra sugar. It cost 520 yen for a small size, and I paid with PayPay. My order was ready quickly, and I enjoyed my tapioca drink in the empty store. It tasted like the classic tapioca milk tea, but that's what I liked about it. It was easy to drink with no strong flavors. The extra sugar was just right for me.

Located on the 4th floor of Links Umeda, this tapioca drink shop caught my attention every time I passed by the Diamor mall. Finally, I gave in to my daughter's request and tried it for the first time. I ordered the Chocolate Milk for ¥490 plus ¥80 for pearl toppings. You can choose the sweetness level, amount of ice, and toppings. I asked for less sweetness and less ice. Despite my initial impression that chocolate drinks would be too sweet, this one had just the right amount of sweetness. The chewy texture of the tapioca pearls added an extra layer of enjoyment to the drink.

I ordered a pomegranate milk tea in a large size with aloe topping for takeout. I was feeling thirsty in Osaka, so I stopped by Gong Cha. The aloe was large and plentiful, complementing the pomegranate milk tea well. The pomegranate milk tea was very refreshing and easy to drink with its milky taste.

I tried the new flavor available for a limited time starting from February 2, 2023 (Thursday). It was the Milk Tea version of the Rich Chocolate Milk Tea & Frozen Tea. Perfect for the Valentine's season, this dessert tea allows you to enjoy the rich taste of cocoa combined with cookies & cream in a luxurious way. The base tea is the "Earl Grey Chocolaty," which has a rich cocoa flavor and the elegant bergamot flavor unique to Earl Grey. The topping includes a smooth milk foam with a hint of salt as an accent, and a crispy cocoa cookie crunch. I opted for a double layer of milk foam on top, and it was delicious! The drink also had a rich chocolate pudding at the bottom, which added a creamy texture when sipped through the straw. It was so tasty! I wish I had asked for double the chocolate pudding as well! The Gong Cha located on the 4th floor of Link's Umeda in Osaka was bustling with students and tourists, creating a lively atmosphere. The open floor layout and large shared tables added to the welcoming ambiance.

I wandered around Umeda and then stopped by Yodobashi Camera Umeda for a tea break at this place, Goncharin Umeda on the 4th floor. It's more like a free space with tables and chairs where you order at the counter. I ordered a hot Chai Milk Tea S for 510 yen, a Black Milk Tea S for 440 yen, and an Egg Tart for 250 yen. It was my first time at Goncha, so I wasn't sure how to order (^-^; The receipt had two 80 yen charges... When I asked for water later, they brought it sealed like a product, which was nice. The milk tea with tapioca is delicious. I'm worried the tapioca might end up in a weird place if you suck too hard on the straw. And of course, you have to get the Egg Tart too (^ー^)

My relatives and I had a delicious time at this shop! The Yuu Black tea was recommended by the staff and it was great. They were very helpful, suggesting options based on our preferences. The tapioca was a bit too much for us, but the taste was good. There is seating available, but it's mostly outdoors so it can get quite cold. Overall, a good experience!

After finishing some errands in Umeda, I went for a meal. When I arrived near the terminal station, I unexpectedly came across Gong Cha. Unlike other shops, they have a milk foam with a cheese cream-like taste. However, on this day, I decided to try something different and ordered the "Banana Chai". The chai flavor was stronger than I expected, with a nice blend of spices and added banana syrup. The sweetness was on the strong side, but it was the perfect balance of chai flavor. This spicy sweetness is exactly what I crave from time to time.

I have been here many times. I always get the Triple Pearl Chocolate Elsa size. I love sweet things, so I need this much to be satisfied haha. The nata de coco is delicious, but sometimes it's hard to suck up. There are different types of milk tea, but I can't tell the difference haha. It used to be quite crowded and tiring to wait, but recently I haven't had to wait much, so I'm happy ^_^

Today's Dessert is at GongCha LINKSUMEDA store in Umeda, Osaka. There are two stores in LINKSUMEDA, and this time we went to the store on the 4th floor. A middle-aged man hesitated but decided to go for "tapioca". The drink I had was Matcha Milk Tea M with Mango Cake. I added tapioca because it's so chewy and I love that texture. GongCha allows you to adjust the ice and sweetness levels, so I went for normal sweetness. The matcha flavor was just right, not too bitter, and the sweetness level was perfect. Tapioca can be a bit tricky to finish, but I managed to suck them all up like a game. Mission complete! I also tried the Mango Cake, which is like the pineapple cake but with mango flavor. It was delicious and had a nice mango taste. The cost was a bit high at 759 yen in total, but overall, it was a great experience.

◆Salted Caramel Milk Tea This Gong Cha location is relatively new and not very crowded. This time, I tried their seasonal recommendation, the Salted Caramel Milk Tea with tapioca topping. Since it's already sweet, I recommend getting it with no added sweetness. However, as a sweet tooth, I thought adding a little bit more sweetness wouldn't hurt. Another recommendation is to order it hot, but I accidentally ordered it iced this time. (＞＜) I think it's best to order it hot with a little extra sweetness.

In the winter of 2019, I noticed a lot of images of tapioca drinks like Gong Cha circulating on the internet, so I decided to check it out. The store is located on the 4th floor of LINKS UMEDA, next to Yodobashi. I think there was only one Gong Cha in Umeda, located in Chayamachi. It always had long lines, and I wondered how much money they were making, but now, there are two new locations in LINKS UMEDA, on the basement floor and the 4th floor. This time, I visited the 4th floor location, and surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded. The store is small. You are given a menu to order while waiting, which is quite efficient. You can take your drink to go or sit in the seating area next to the counter. I tried the Black Tapioca Milk Tea, and the tea was slightly light in flavor. The tapioca had a chewy texture like firm mochi, with a hint of sweetness from the black sugar. The sweetness lingered a bit in the aftertaste. The staff, about 10 people, provided attentive and polite service. Overall, I would rate it 3.2 out of 5 stars. Gong Cha is popular, but the drinks were decently made. It might be best to customize your order to suit your taste. If there's no line, it's worth trying occasionally, but I'm not sure if I would wait an hour like during the peak of the craze. Also, in terms of price, for a drink in the same price range, I couldn't help but think of Godiva's Dark Chocolate Decadence, which offers a different experience.

I wanted to try Gong Cha but the lines were always too long, I just couldn't muster the energy to wait in the heat for tapioca drinks. In Umeda, next to Yodobashi Camera, Linksumeda opened its doors with Gong Cha opening on the 4th floor and B1F simultaneously! The reason was to ease the long queues, and Gong Cha did an amazing job! I visited the 4th floor location and although there was a line, it was still manageable so I decided to wait. The B1F location is for takeout, but the 4th floor has a café space as well. While waiting in line, I was given a menu. The variety of teas was still overwhelming for me, so I usually just order the recommended item. I ordered the Black Milk Tea with Pearl Topping for 490 yen. The ice was minimal, and the sweetness was mild. The milk tea had a gentle flavor and the tapioca pearls were chewy with a delicious sweetness from the brown sugar. Lately, the queues have been getting better at most places, so I've been trying tapioca milk tea at various shops. But it seems like there isn't much difference in the milk tea across different places. I always struggle with what to order, so I usually go for milk tea, but maybe it's better to aim for the shop's original specialty? Is that what sets each shop apart? I rarely drink tapioca tea, but I decided to try Jasmine tea at this place for the first time! The drink comes without milk foam and tapioca, but you can add them separately. The staff taught me how to drink it - first, sip the milk foam without mixing it. When I tried it as instructed... What is this!? It's sweet and salty! It's incredibly delicious! The sweetness of the milk foam soothes the tiredness from walking around shopping, the unsweetened Jasmine tea hydrates the throat, and the tapioca fills the stomach. It's perfect! I'm hooked on this!

I went there when it first opened! It was very crowded at the beginning. There are two Gong Cha stores in Links Umeda, one on the 1st floor for takeout only, and one on the 4th floor for dining in. It was my first time at Gong Cha. I ordered a sugar-free tapioca milk tea. It was very refreshing and easy to drink (╹◡╹) It can get crowded depending on the time, but Links has many places where you can enjoy tea, so it's nice. Thank you for the meal!
