I lined up at noon. My grandchild was tired and hot, so they sat down. It took about 20 minutes to get in, and it was hot and tiring. The person who seemed like the manager noticed that we had been waiting for a long time and seated us on the second floor at a spacious table in the back. I had already placed my order in advance for a 200g ribeye steak, which came with rice, soup, and salad. There were various steak sauces on the table, such as onion sauce and original sauce. I enjoyed changing the flavor by adding spices and salt. There was a 200 yen discount promotion, but I still found the prices to be high. Maybe it's because of the location. The taste of the meat was just average, maybe because it was imported. The service was good, but due to the wait and the prices, I don't think I'll go back.

I usually avoid lining up in the long queue, but today I was able to be seated without waiting! The staff recommended the 200g ribeye steak with an additional curry roux for only 180 yen. The rice is all-you-can-eat during lunchtime, which I think will become very popular. Both in terms of cost performance, portion size, and taste, it is satisfying for all ages from young people to older adults. I ended up overeating by pouring curry over the rice and enjoying unlimited refills. There are many varieties of sauces, dressings, and seasonings to enjoy. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited a pound steak restaurant in Namba that I had never been to before, located right in the middle of Nipponbashi Otaku Road. The building was narrow, so I had to climb up the steep stairs to the second floor. Now, what should I eat... Considering my budget, I decided to go for the discounted "Ribeye Steak" - 300 yen off for the regular 200g size, but still 2100 yen... The hamburger looked tempting too at 980 yen, but I was at a steakhouse, so I struggled with my decision. After much deliberation, I chose the "Takeru Steak Combo - Regular 250g" for 1600 yen!! Phew... During lunchtime, rice was free and unlimited, so I had seconds and enjoyed my meal! It was delicious... I would like to try eating just the meat without rice next time. Thank you for the meal.

As the beloved summer comes to an end, I decided to treat myself on my day off. It happened to be the 29th of the month, which means it's "Niku no Hi" (Meat Day) and also "Takeru's 29 Festival"! Feeling a surge of energy, I headed straight to Nihonbashi Otaro Road. I ordered the Ribeye Steak (200g for 1000 yen) which is a special price available only on the 29th of each month. The steak was cooked medium rare and was served on a sizzling hot plate. The meat, though not luxurious, had a good texture and the natural flavor was evident due to not being overcooked. Takeru, the owner, offers a variety of original sauces, spices, garlic chips, and dressings to enhance the dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed mixing and matching the toppings and sauces. The meal also came with salad, soup, and unlimited rice. I left feeling completely satisfied and vowed to return on the next 29th! Please note that the "29 Festival" menu is available on specific dates, so it's best to check their website beforehand. Thank you for the delicious meal.

A few years ago, Takel was said to be the hottest place by the yakiniku industry. Whenever I come to Otaku Road, I always pass by it, but before Corona, there was always a line. However, recently it hasn't been as crowded, so I decided to try it out. I climbed the narrow stairs to the 2nd floor and sat at the counter. I was overwhelmed by the number of sauce options as usual. After some thought, I decided on the Rib Roast and Ebi Fry Combo for 2,070 yen. It included 100 grams of rib roast, 150 grams of hamburger, and 2 ebi fry, which is a good deal compared to the regular menu without ebi fry. The meal started with soup and salad, topped generously with Takel sauce. Then, the steak, hamburger, and ebi fry were served on the hot plate. I cooked the rib roast first, adjusted the meat's position, and found the hamburger could be a bit more flavorful. The ebi fry was quite large and satisfying. The rib roast was decent for the price, and I ended up getting a second helping of rice. Overall, it was a good meal. Despite the rising prices of meat, Takel seems to be holding up well. However, with 2,000 yen, I wonder if there are other options worth trying. [Highlights of this visit] It's been a while since I had ebi fry.

Lunchtime is always crowded! And the popular items tend to sell out quickly... ( ̄▽ ̄;) So it's better to line up early rather than later. There is no parking lot, so it's best to park at a coin parking nearby. The hamburgers and steaks look delicious, but the real highlight is the horse meat steak, which is rare and delicious. I tried the premium horse meat fillet bowl R: 1,870 yen, which comes with 300g of horse meat and 500g of rice. Limited to 10 servings per day! You can adjust the amount of rice when ordering, but the price remains the same. The horse meat is lightly cooked, almost rare. Horses have a high body temperature, making it difficult for bacteria to grow, so it can be eaten raw. The meat is tender and light, with wasabi mayonnaise and sliced onions adding a refreshing touch. There are plenty of condiments to customize your dish. I recommend mixing plenty of garlic oil with garlic-flavored salt, then dipping the finely chopped onions brought to you after ordering into the blend before enjoying the horse meat. This is my favorite way to eat it. At first, I thought I might not finish the rice, but in the end, I managed to eat all 800g of it. ( •̀∀•́ )✧

The steak was incredibly delicious, and the portion size was generous. There are various tasty sauces to choose from, making it enjoyable! It was absolutely amazing! I had a 500-gram sirloin steak and harami steak. The onion sauce and garlic chips were just perfect. The flavors were amazing! Since then, I've been nicknamed "Garlic Man". Please take a look at my super garlic-topped steak photo! I finished every last bit, including the garlic. The staff, especially the cute and friendly waitress, were great! 5 stars! Thanks to a certain steak chain restaurant, the hurdle of eating a hearty steak for lunch has become much lower, right? When you go to Kanto, those restaurants are famous and there are many of them, but in Kansai, the go-to place for steak has always been "Takeru" restaurant. I wonder how many years it has been since I first visited the restaurant in Nishinakajima? (I checked my history and it was in 2013) So, it's been 8 years since my last visit to Takeru. Over these 8 years, the restaurant has expanded and you can now enjoy their meals in various locations. The "Nihonbashi Otarodo branch" also offers a lunch with Takeru's signature volume and great cost performance. On this day, I ordered the "Daily Plate (Harami Steak S150g) for 1,100 yen (tax included)." It comes with salad, the always heartwarming soup, and unlimited rice refills. I thoroughly enjoyed the volume-packed and cost-effective steak lunch. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I came to Takel in Nihonbashi Otaroad to eat some meat. I ordered the recommended menu item, the regular size Misuji steak. As soon as I put it in my mouth, the juicy meat spread throughout. When you want to eat a hearty amount of meat, this is the place to go! The male staff members were polite and efficient, which left a good impression. Thank you for the meal!

It was incredibly delicious! There are plenty of seasonings to enjoy different flavors. There are also many types of meat, and you can add more if you feel like you need it, so you can enjoy it twice! The free refills for rice, soup, and salad are amazing. The only downside is that the place is a bit small. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 considering the price and the small space.

This time, I chose harami (skirt steak) and they recommended the perfect doneness based on the meat I chose. The meat was quite tender, and the hamburger was not dry, it was delicious. Ate steak at Otaro-do. First time in a while!! And first time with family!! Maybe because of Corona, it was a bit less crowded for a Sunday. Arrived right after opening. No line, but all the tables were taken, so we had to wait. As we waited, more and more people lined up behind us. The problem started here!! The people behind us kept going in before us one after another. The counter seats free up faster. Those people using the table seats taking over an hour to finish eating!! They must be done eating for sure! Finally, a table opened up and we were allowed in, but there were two table seats available. The people at the next table finished eating and were just staring at their phones... It's so crowded, so if you finish eating and take a break, hurry up and leave!! The staff seemed troubled too!! But as expected, the steak was delicious. This time we ordered a 1-pound sirloin and a 1-pound horse meat steak, along with adding Takel's curry with a coupon. It was brought to us quickly. The sizzling sound was amazing. The appearance was incredibly powerful. You can enjoy various flavors including Takel sauce. No matter how you eat it, it's delicious!! The tender sirloin was amazing! The horse meat steak with a firm texture was also great, whether dipped in the special sauce, Takel sauce, salt, all fantastic. The curry we got for free was full of chunks of beef tendon and packed with spices, really delicious! There are two 4-person table seats, so it's also suitable for families with children!

The restaurant is on the second floor, and the stairs are narrow, so it becomes a one-way street with priority given to those going up. The counter seats are also quite cramped and crowded. Since there were no condiments in front of me, I felt bad reaching out to the person next to me every time, so this time I only used original onion and delicious salt. I ordered a combination of hamburger and rib roast. As always, it was incredibly delicious (〃ω〃). I was full and left the restaurant. Namba/Nihonbashi also had fewer people due to the current situation, but it would be nice to have alcohol disinfection in front of the store. Thank you for the meal!(^人^)

Ordered 1 pound of misuji steak and 1 pound of takeru steak. There are many seasonings to put on the steaks, but takeru spice is recommended. Personally, I wanted wasabi. The 1 pound steak was tender and delicious. Next time, I want to try the hamburger too.
