I went to a strawberry buffet. It was quite simple and not very luxurious. They did refill the food. I wish they would have put a little more effort into the cakes that were not cut, as they ended up messy. It was an endless buffet of light snacks and sweet treats. The taste was average.

I had never been to a sweets buffet before, so out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try. This time, I visited a shop called Lorraine at Kyobashi Station, located on the 7th floor of Kyobashi Grande. They were having a "Strawberry Garden" strawberry fair. Feeling a bit out of place and unsure, I followed the lead of the people around me and started "biking" (buffet style eating). I'm sure they don't actually call it "biking", haha. I arrived early, so I took a ton of photos of the food! Each dish was beautifully presented. Just adding the red color of the strawberries made the plates look so vibrant. I can see why it's popular among women. Not only sweets, but also light meals were available, so I was glad I came on an empty stomach. The sandwiches were impeccably made, as expected from a hotel. The sweets ranged from water sweets to tarts, puddings, chiffon cakes, and more. It was a bit challenging to try everything even just a bite each (´- `*) At 4950 yen, this was definitely a great deal! Well done! ✨

It is a good idea to make a reservation in advance to enjoy the buffet at a better price. The buffet has a wide variety of options and is very satisfying. Although there is a plentiful dessert selection, towards the end, the quantity may decrease, and there is no replenishment, so it's best to grab what you want early before it runs out.

On the 7th floor of Hotel Keihan is a restaurant called Lorraine. They offer a Christmas dinner with a main dish and a half buffet. The price is ¥5500 for adults (tax included) and ¥3300 for elementary school students (tax included). Even though it's a half buffet, there is a wide variety of dishes, fruits, and desserts available which is great. The main dish, black wagyu sirloin, was tender and delicious. I would definitely like to visit again.

As expected, the dessert buffet is available on weekends and holidays until the end of October from 3 pm to 5 pm, with a 90-minute time limit for adults at 3,800 yen per person. I wasn't planning on going because past reviews indicated that it was mostly for commercial use, but I had some free time and had a coupon and points to use, so I decided to give it a try. I took some photos while waiting for about 10 minutes before the start time. There were about 15 to 16 groups, totaling around 35 to 40 people that day. As expected, more than half (90%?) of the desserts were commercial, and there were few light snacks, so it didn't seem worth the cost. The baked goods seemed hotel-made. The tiramisu, mixed berry cake, Mont Blanc, rare chocolate cake, white peach tart, and others were typical commercial items. The better options were a tart with fresh blueberries and a black chiffon cake, although the base seemed commercial. The molten chocolate cake was served fresh, which might be good for chocolate lovers. The taste of the light snacks was not bad, but after the first 30 minutes, fewer staff members were clearing plates, and one person was mainly responsible for it. I visited this time because I could use a coupon and points to get a significant discount, but I wouldn't go at the regular price. There wasn't enough variety to eat for 90 minutes, so I left after about 75 minutes. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I stayed at the "Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande" in Osaka, adjacent to Kyobashi Station. The room was simple but comfortable. The breakfast venue was the "Restaurant Lorraine" on the 7th floor of the hotel. It was a bright and open restaurant, decorated with many figurines from "Alice in Wonderland" in collaboration with Kaiyodo. The breakfast was buffet style, with a wide variety of dishes including Osaka specialties like okonomiyaki, takoyaki, kushikatsu, and mixed juice. I chose beef tendon stew, kushikatsu, chawanmushi, nigiri sushi (shrimp, squid, horse mackerel), gatcho's fried chicken, salad, and miso soup. All the dishes had a homemade feel and were well-prepared. The bill came to 2,200 yen, which was a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Thank you for the meal!

Hotel lunch buffet~♪ Used a 600 yen coupon from Jalan, so the price was reduced from 2,750 yen to 2,150 yen. The lunch buffet is from 11:00 am with a 90-minute time limit. I made a reservation for the holiday at 11:00 am and arrived. The seating started 2 minutes before 11:00 am, and there were 3 groups including me. A few more groups arrived gradually, and by the time we left, the main table seats were almost full. I didn't have high expectations, but the limited variety of dishes was acceptable. However, I was surprised to see only 2 types of cakes! Looking at previous reviews and photos of dessert buffets, there used to be more variety, but this time it was lacking. There was no ice cream or soft serve either. The only good thing was that they served bread from Narutoya. The live roast pork was delicious, and the horse mackerel carpaccio was also good. The taste of the food was not bad, but the lack of variety in desserts made it hard to get excited. It felt more like just filling up your stomach at a buffet. If you use a coupon, it might be worth it in terms of cost performance, but at the regular price... The plate clearing service was not very good. The female staff (part-time?) only guided customers to their seats and did not clear the empty plates piled up on the tables. Only the male staff circulated around the restaurant to clear the plates. The small plates were divided into 9 sections, making it difficult to serve yourself, and the dishes were also hard to pick up. It felt more like having a meal at a hotel restaurant rather than... The restaurant collaborated with the famous figure company Kaiyodo, and the interior decorations were lovely! On the 7th floor, you can see many JR and Keihan trains from the large windows, and you can also see airplanes taking off one after another (^-^) It's a great view for those who love transportation. The menu had a variety of options, from beef steak and sushi to cakes! There were also many stylish and original menu items available.

Had lunch buffet with my girlfriend. They had implemented COVID-19 measures, so even though it was a buffet, we had to order using our phones. The food was brought to us not only by staff but also by robots, which was pretty cool. The facilities were very modern. It was a bit disappointing that it was hard to gauge the portion sizes before the food arrived. Sometimes the dishes were bigger than expected, other times they were bite-sized. It would have been better if the portion sizes were more consistent. The taste of the food was delicious. The curry, in particular, was amazing. The apple tart for dessert was also very tasty.

I visited in early February and liked it so much that I came back the following week with my son, who loves sweets. Due to the new coronavirus measures, the buffet style has been changed to an order buffet system. It was more crowded this time compared to last week. The price is 4000 yen, which is quite reasonable for enjoying a variety of sweets and food. The hotel also serves curry, which was delicious. Today, I planned to focus on the food menu, but ended up eating a lot of sweets again. There were so many options, including mini dango, strawberry churros, ice cream, and more. Although I couldn't try everything in one go, I was still satisfied. The fresh strawberries were great, and I enjoyed the variety of teas and fresh juices. Overall, I was very satisfied with both visits.

All-you-can-eat buffet. It was my first time experiencing a fair. It lasted 90 minutes starting from 3 pm. Please check the menu on the website. The mentaiko spaghetti was delicious, I ended up going for seconds three times (laughs). The sweetness of the fresh strawberries wasn't that high, I think. It might be hard to make up for the cost, but it was exciting and fun. They guided us a little before 3 pm, and everyone sat down and waited politely until 3 pm. I was just so full (laughs). You can see different sides of people at an all-you-can-eat buffet, right...

This weekend, I went to Osaka to attend a year-end event with a friend. We stayed overnight and the next morning, we had breakfast at the buffet restaurant on the lobby floor of the Keihan Hotel. I think I would have been more satisfied if I had eaten kitsune udon in front of Kyobashi Station, but since breakfast was included in the accommodation plan, it would be a waste not to eat it. We arrived around 9 am after finishing our errands. The hotel was fully booked due to two large events at Osaka Castle Park nearby, but it seemed like most of the event participants had already left, so there were only a few customers in the restaurant with over 100 seats. They offered a variety of over 40 dishes including Japanese, Western, and Korean cuisine to cater to various customers. Some of the notable items were mixed juice, takoyaki, pickled ginger tempura, seafood okonomiyaki, and grilled beef kalbi, which gave a distinct Osaka vibe. I tried the mixed juice, bacon, seafood okonomiyaki, pickled ginger tempura, salad, croissant (baked in-house), and coffee. The taste was decent, slightly better than a typical business hotel. The breakfast-included and non-included plans were the same price, so I chose the one with breakfast, but I still think kitsune udon would have been better.

I visited the "Restaurant Lorraine" at Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande during the period from October 5th to November 30th, where they offered a special Afternoon Tea Plan only on weekends and holidays. You can choose one pancake from a selection of 10 different types, either sweet or savory. The sweet pancake options include Berry Pancake, Mango Pancake, Mont Blanc Pancake, Tiramisu Pancake, Baked Apple and Black Tea Cream Pancake, Caramelized Banana and Chocolate Pancake, Dorayaki Pancake, and Plain Pancake with Calpis Butter. The savory pancake options are Bacon and Egg Pancake, and Smoked Salmon and Avocado Pancake. There are also 16 different drink options available, including various tapioca drinks and teas. I tried the Smoked Salmon and Avocado Pancake, which was generously topped with avocado, salmon, and more. The portion was quite large and perfect for sharing. The pancake was moist and not too sweet, allowing you to enjoy it fully. The fresh salmon was delicious and paired well with the avocado. The Dorayaki Pancake was also impressive with its five layers filled with red bean paste and whipped cream, topped with chestnut paste. The Mont Blanc Pancake was a towering stack of five layers with plenty of chestnut cream, which was not too sweet and very tasty. The variety of tapioca drinks was a highlight, and I especially enjoyed the subtly sweet black sugar flavor. The Afternoon Tea Plan is available on weekends and holidays from 15:00 to 17:00 for 2,200 yen per adult.

Located right next to Keihan Electric Railway and JR Kyobashi Station, "Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande" on the 7th floor houses the restaurant Lorraine (in Osaka's Miyakojima Ward). I was invited to a buffet restaurant in Kyobashi after work, and I realized that I could get there directly from my company by taking the JR train without any transfers. I arrived at Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande on the 7th floor and was seated immediately. The drink was all-you-can-drink, and the food was buffet style. I noticed a unique beer server at the beer corner, where the beer was poured into a tornado shape. I tried it and found the beer to be milder and smoother compared to the regular draft beer. The buffet had a variety of dishes such as fried chicken, skewers, takoyaki, vegetables, pasta, pizza, salad, snacks, rice dishes, desserts, and fruits. There was also a wide selection of drinks available. The price for all-you-can-drink and eat was reasonable at 4000 yen. The atmosphere was casual and the staff were friendly. Hello, this is Numao. On the second morning in Osaka, I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. My friends who came with me are still recovering from last night's drinking, so I'm having a solo meal (laughs). Hotel breakfast buffets are usually the same taste wherever you go, as expected, right? But I actually like that taste (laughs). I had a variety of vegetables, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs with ketchup, and croissants with jam and butter. It was good. The familiar flavors coming as expected. Surprisingly, the kalbi bowl was delicious. It's meat cooked with a sweet and savory sauce on top of rice. I kind of feel like I got a good deal (laughs). For the second helping, I had rice and miso soup, curry rice, and salt-grilled noodles (laughs). Everything was delicious as usual, and I was satisfied from the morning. Oh, speaking of Osaka, the famous mixed juice! I also had it at the buffet here. It was sweet and delicious. It was a good drink to wake up in the morning. Thank you for the meal.

Onekyu.com Restaurant offers a significant discount. This is a hotel lunch buffet. The breakfast here is famous for being delicious, so if you have the opportunity to stay, you might want to try the breakfast! The atmosphere is somewhat like a family restaurant, but the seating is spacious, so you don't have to worry about bumping into the person next to you. It's bright and has a good view of the Grand Chateau. The smoked duck is delicious, with a smoky and spicy flavor balanced out by the sweet sauce. I tried the appetizer plate, which included salmon escabeche, burdock with spicy cod roe, and a quiche with udo flowers, all of which had unique and addictive flavors. The Caesar-style dish with small shrimp, sweet potato, and colored beans had a nice kick from the olive oil. The pumpkin potage was sweet and delicious. The mixed plate included red ginger tempura, honey-glazed young chicken, and other tasty items like fried saury and chicken tenderloin. The vitamin drink was sour and seemed to be rich in vitamins. The refill plate had favorites like sweet potatoes, mountain vegetable soba, and beef curry. The desserts were cute and included sweet potato puree, ohagi, panna cotta, fruit cocktail, cream cheese petit tart, and more. There were still more options that I couldn't try, but I'll definitely come back for more!
