I wanted to eat gyoza, so I searched online and this place came up first. I immediately went there and ordered some gyoza at the counter-only restaurant with a great atmosphere. I ordered regular gyoza for ¥530 and shiso gyoza (which changes daily) for another price. The gyoza came out crispy and delicious, and I thought to myself, "This is really good!" Personally, I preferred the shiso gyoza over the regular one. The roast pork for ¥640 and the pork miso soup for ¥540 were also delicious and highly recommended. I will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you for the meal.

In Osaka. Wrapping up a drinking party. Instead of ramen, we had dumplings. Not at Tenpei, but here. The dumplings were carefully pan-fried, giving them a crispy texture. They also provided sudachi juice to squeeze over them, which made them refreshing and delicious. I will definitely visit here again. Thank you for the meal.

At the second place we visited, we ordered the specialty gyoza and shiso gyoza. We enjoyed dipping them in sauce, salt, or lemon juice. The gyoza had a crispy exterior and juicy interior, and both were delicious! Personally, I prefer the shiso gyoza, but I recommend ordering both. I am curious about other menu items, so I would like to visit again when I am in Kita-Shinchi.

On this day, the fifth stop was around 10 pm and there was only one group of customers, so it was relatively empty. We ordered the famous Kitashinchi Gyoza, two servings, and one drink each, totaling about 2,000 yen for two people. The first 1-2 pieces were recommended by the owner to try with Sudachi soy sauce or salt, and we could taste the richness of the clam and cabbage in the filling. The gyoza was not heavy, so it was fine to eat even late at night. The skin was crispy and had a texture that could become addictive. I wanted to try the chashu (roast pork) as well, but maybe next time!

This was the original spot. I used to always go inside the building. But I discovered these dumplings in Nara. The skin is thin, and the filling is not greasy. My favorite dumplings. The menu was smaller than the Nara restaurant, but it had a dignified presence. It was delicious. I will come back again.

I've been going to Gyoza Anzai-kun in Kitashinchi for a while now. It's always crowded and I can only get in about once every five times. It's convenient when I feel like eating a little, and the food is delicious. I wonder when I can go next.

I love this gyoza restaurant✨ - Gyoza ¥530 - Shiso gyoza ¥530 - Takeout ¥1,000 The first picture is of the gyoza made by the genius yakitori chef that I brought as a gift before the restaurant opened. The gyoza was amazing, not just the meat but also the gyoza itself was genius. And I also enjoyed the gyoza that was beautifully cooked before having yakiniku. The second picture is the gyoza made by the skilled chef, Anzai✨ The regular gyoza is delicious, but I highly recommend trying the shiso gyoza. The crispy skin and juicy filling with shiso make it refreshing and you can eat it endlessly.

Luckily, there was a seat available when I arrived! The restaurant has a small L-shaped counter with 9 seats, and it's always crowded. Among all the Gyozaya restaurants in Kitashinchi, the one run by Mr. Yasui, the owner of the original store, serves the most delicious gyoza. Here are some of the recommended dishes:○ Special Kitashinchi Gyoza (1 serving 6 pieces 480 yen × 4 servings)○ Yoshiju Pork Roast Pork (580 yen)○ Special Pork Miso Soup (480 yen)○ Draft Beer Premium Malt's Masters Dream (640 yen)When you order gyoza, they wrap the filling in the skin and carefully cook it. There are only a few gyoza specialty stores that hand-wrap gyoza upon ordering, like Shoun in Kitanozaka and here. Inside the fridge, pre-wrapped gyoza are lined up, but when you order freshly cooked ones, they hand-wrap them on the spot, emphasizing the deliciousness. This is a shop located on the first floor of a building that you can pass through on Shinmachi Street and Eirakucho Street in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka. It is a small shop with an L-shaped counter with 9 seats, which gives it a cozy and calming atmosphere. Let's start with a toast with a beer, "Suntory Premium Malt's Master's Dream". They offer various types of gyoza, so it's a good idea to order them first and enjoy them while they are being grilled. We started with the "Seasonal Vegetable Pickles" as a snack. The pickles made from Chinese cabbage, eggplant, burdock, okra, cucumber were all delicious and perfect for snacking. The "Kita-Shinchi Gyoza" is a specialty here. The skin is crispy and nicely grilled. The filling is made with plenty of "Nagasaki Yoshisuke Pork" from a brand, combined with cabbage and dried scallops. Despite the abundance of pork, there is no unpleasant smell, and the sweetness and umami of cabbage and scallops come through, making it delicious. We enjoyed it with a combination of vinegar soy sauce, salt, and sudachi, which subtly changed the flavor. This is a shop located in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka. It is about a 2-minute walk from Kita-Shinchi Station. I visited the shop for a solo lunch on a weekday afternoon. The shop has only an L-shaped counter, and I ordered the Chashu Don Gyoza set lunch from the lunch menu, which costs 1,000 yen (tax included), and added 3 extra gyoza for 200 yen (tax included). The service was a bit slow as it was handled by one staff member, and it took about 12 minutes for the food to be served. The Chashu Don Gyoza set lunch comes with salad and pickles. The main Chashu Don featured seared pork thigh chashu with a slightly chewy texture, but it was delicious and refreshing. Adding the extra gyoza for 200 yen was a good choice. I enjoyed the juicy gyoza with the recommended salt and yuzu sauce by the staff! The gyoza was very tasty (Gyoza sauce and chili oil are also provided on the table). It was a satisfying meal.

Located on the first floor of Mori Building, between Hon-dori and Nagaracho, is a gyoza restaurant that uses a brand of pork called Hosu pork. They make the gyoza fresh after you order. The flavors are bold and perfect for a late-night snack after drinking. I ended up ordering more than I intended because everything on the menu besides rice dishes looked delicious. Some of their specialties include the Kitashinchi Gyoza, Shiso Gyoza, Hosu Pork Char Siu, Hosu Pork Roast Pork, Special Pork Soup, and Seasonal Vegetable Pickles. I will definitely be going back to try more of Anzai-kun's gyoza.
