This is my third time here! It's been a while since I last came. The sushi is delicious and offers great value for money, with a wide variety of options. My friends were also satisfied, which was great. I like that they offer not just fish sushi, but also a variety of menu options like meat sushi and tempura. I will definitely visit again.

It seems like my date made a reservation with a plan for our Christmas dinner, and this restaurant was included in the plan. The restaurant has both counter seats and table seats, with additional seating on the upper floor. We were seated at a table near the entrance, so it was a bit chilly when customers came and went. The atmosphere near the register was a bit bustling. Personally, I think sitting at the counter would be better because you can see the sushi being made. The course included:
- Seasonal hot pot
- Assorted tempura
- 10 pieces of specialty sushi
- Cod roe steamed rice
- Black sesame ice cream
I have a crab allergy but I like the taste of crab, so I exchanged the famous crab shell sushi for salmon. The sushi was delicious and filling, and the hot pot had plenty of meat. The cod roe steamed rice was a bit spicier than I expected, but even though I'm not a fan of cod roe, I could eat it. I added horse sashimi and oysters with ponzu sauce to the course. Surprisingly, it was my first time trying both! I can eat both, but I didn't find them particularly delicious. I slightly prefer the horse sashimi. The staff seemed busy, and there was a new employee who seemed a bit inexperienced, but overall, it was a good experience. It might be popular due to the season, so it's recommended to make a reservation or arrive early when visiting.

Passing by this restaurant, I always saw it crowded, so I had the image that it must be popular. On this weekday, it looked empty so I decided to go in. I was seated at the counter and ordered a bottle of beer. After that, I had to place orders through a QR code, just like that other kushikatsu place. I had some beer while ordering chutoro sashimi, ebi tempura, tamago tempura, and wagyu sukiyaki. The food was okay, nothing particularly delicious. It was good when I first entered the restaurant, but as time passed, it got really cold. The air conditioning was too strong, to the point where I felt like it was too much. I wanted to eat and drink more, but I couldn't handle the cold so I left. A bit disappointing, I guess.

Ranked No. 1 in the popular reservation ranking for Osaka x Izakaya! This place caught my eye every time I passed by! It is currently the most popular casual sushi and sake bar in Osaka. The first floor has a nice atmosphere with counter seats surrounding the open kitchen. The second and third floors have spacious table seats. The first floor seems to be the most popular as it was fully booked when I visited as the third stop. We only had a light snack, including Suika Beam Highball, beer, and a selection of four sashimi for 880 yen. Other items we tried were Nagaimo sticks for 280 yen, seared mentaiko for 380 yen, and fatty salmon for 380 yen. The seared mentaiko was the clear winner. I'm not sure if the cost performance is good or bad, but they have a wide variety of drinks and menu options, making it convenient for large group gatherings, casual drinks, or bar hopping. It's a good spot for an izakaya with a clever concept!

On Sunday around 2:00 PM, two people entered the restaurant. The place was relatively empty with about 5-6 groups of customers. We were seated at the counter in the back. We started with a Jim Beam highball (190 yen), which was cheap. Then, we ordered some sushi, tempura, and other dishes. Both the sushi and tempura were delicious and exceeded our expectations for the price. We had 3 drinks, 1 oolong tea, 2 servings of sushi, 3 pieces of tempura, miso soup, etc., and the total bill was 5,080 yen. We felt that it was a great value for the quality of food and service. We would definitely come back for day drinking.

Sashisuno's affiliated store! The sushi is fresh and incredibly delicious! I found the prices to be quite cheap given how tasty it was. I visited on a weekday afternoon and there weren't many customers. Sashisuno is usually quite crowded, so I think I'll be visiting this store from now on! The meat sushi was also delicious.

I came back to Osaka after a long time and visited for a drinking party with acquaintances. I had made a reservation for 6:00 PM but the restaurant was full and walk-in customers were being turned away. The restaurant mainly serves seafood, with fish sushi and meat sushi being recommended. The sushi was served one piece at a time, with the rice being a good size. The toppings were also a perfect size, and considering the price, I think it's worth it. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

This shop is a favorite of my partner, and this is my second visit. I already knew that Susabiya serves delicious food. We started with a toast with a Vice Sour, and then quickly ordered the Salmon Trio. The appetizer, which I didn't take a photo of, was a delicious squid vinegar stew. Of course, Susabiya is known for its meat dishes! We enjoyed the tongue sashimi and meat sushi until we were satisfied. Personally, I thought the liver sushi was the most delicious. We finished off with Wagyu beef hot pot. No matter how many times I come here, I always leave satisfied. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

This is a relaxing bathhouse with a calming atmosphere! I visited on a Monday afternoon, and there were only about 2 groups of customers inside, so I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely. It was my first time visiting, and personally, I found the meat sushi (horse meat, lamb) and tempura to be quite delicious.

Sushi Izakaya Susabi-yu in Higashi Umeda, Osaka. Located just a 5-minute walk from Umeda Station, this restaurant offers sushi and tempura in a casual setting. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a facade that gives off a public bath vibe. The menu is diverse, offering a variety of options including sushi, tempura, fish, meat, sashimi, rice bowls, and more. The dishes are of high quality, with clever names like "Mixed Bath" (a platter of fish and meat sashimi) adding a unique touch. This restaurant also offers mobile ordering. Enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy setting at Sushi Izakaya Susabi-yu! #SushiIzakayaSusabi-yu #OsakaGourmet #OsakaIzakaya #OsakaSushi #UmedaGourmet #UmedaSushi #UmedaDinner #UmedaIzakaya #sushi #tempura #restaurant #foodie #gourmet

I used this restaurant for a date with a woman. They served seafood, sushi, and some meat dishes. The customers there were mostly in their 20s when I visited. The service was fine. As for the food, it was delicious. However, it cost around ¥8,000 for two people without alcohol. Considering the cost, I thought there might be other options available.

Kumauma Log 3.7❄️ On the first day after Golden Week, I went to "Sushi Sakaba Susabiyu" in Umeda with a senior I feel comfortable with and two other new colleagues. It's a popular sushi and sake bar located on Higashi Street in Umeda. Every dish was incredibly delicious, and we had a great time chatting and having fun. #Sushi #Sake #SushiBar #Izakaya #SushiRestaurant #Tempura #Sashimi #Umeda #UmedaGourmet #UmedaIzakaya #UmedaDinner #UmedaSushi #SusabiYu #PostGW #WeAlwaysEndWithChawanmushi 😋

The cost performance was great and the food was very delicious! We could enjoy various types of sushi one by one! Uni and liver were not my favorite, but the staff were friendly and both the first and second floors offered freshly made sushi right in front of us, which was enjoyable to watch!

Three-story budget sushi restaurant‼️ Just a 5-minute walk from Umeda Station. It's close to Don Quijote in Umeda, and you can easily spot it in the shopping street because of its distinctive exterior! This is my second visit. I was very satisfied last time, so I brought a friend here as our first stop. Tempura is in the 100 yen range❗️ Sushi is mostly around 200 yen❗️ They are all generously portioned and delicious, so you can keep drinking more and more sake haha. The cream croquette is top-notch. Highball is in the 300 yen range, so it's a great deal for drinkers✨.*────────────────*.〔Atmosphere〕⚪︎90 seats⚪︎Very casual⚪︎Counter seats available, so it's okay for solo diners⚪︎Clean interior✨. There are plenty of staff members, so there is no delay in ordering! You can order from your smartphone using a QR code. I'm not a fan of typical budget places, but this one has a clean and bright interior, so it doesn't have that noisy atmosphere with rowdy people❗️ I would definitely visit again when I'm in need of dinner options.

I tried this restaurant for lunch because the atmosphere seemed nice as I walked past it in front of Susabi-yu, behind Don Quijote in Umeda. I entered before 2 pm. There were no other customers on the first floor. I ordered a glass of barley tea for adults. - Seafood sashimi platter for 880 yen. It was decent! - Low-temperature cooked liver sashimi was okay. - Tempura with spring colors, crab and cherry shrimp. The cherry shrimp tempura was heavy and thick like okonomiyaki, so it was okay, but the rest was crispy and delicious. The mountain vegetables gave a nice spring feeling! - Crab cream croquette, with a small amount of crab. lol I also used a coupon when making a reservation and got a free 3-piece tuna sushi set. I tried a little bit of each: tuna, marinated tuna, and garlic tuna. The sushi was easy to eat and quite good. The sea urchin was okay. The bonito was thick and delicious. It was the home run of the day! The shrimp was also decent, and the marinated tuna was sweet. You can add wasabi to the sushi yourself as there isn't any already on it. They use red vinegar in the sushi rice. It's a good value if you choose your sushi carefully. The restaurant was more casual than I expected from the outside, more like a sushi izakaya. You can drink anytime.

While walking around the streets of Umeda looking for an izakaya, I noticed a lot of turnover in tenants, possibly due to the coronavirus pandemic. I came across a place called "Susabi-yu" with a logo resembling a hot spring mark. The atmosphere inside was lively, so I asked if they had a table available. The staff, who were busy at the register, quickly cleaned up and asked me to wait a moment. After about 5 minutes, they seated me at a table. I noticed that the drinks were a bit pricey, but I decided to order sushi and sashimi. The freshness of the fish was a bit concerning, so I hesitated to try things like raw oysters, which I usually avoid. However, the drinks were served promptly, and the service was excellent, so I continued to enjoy my drinks. Overall, it was a good experience! ^ ^

While walking around Umeda looking for lunch, I came across an interesting sign for egg yolk sushi and decided to try out this restaurant! I ordered the "omakase" set of 5 pieces and a drink, and for subsequent orders, I could use my smartphone to place them without needing to call for a server, which was very convenient. The dishes ranged from classic to unique options, and I enjoyed trying out different items. The corn potage tempura was both interesting and delicious! Thank you for the meal!

When I made a reservation, the coupon was automatically applied, giving a discount of 1000 yen on the course. However, the restaurant called to inform me that the coupon was only valid until 5 pm, so I would have to pay the full price. Despite this, I agreed and went to the restaurant. Upon arrival, I noticed that the people at the next table were also facing the same issue with the coupon. They tried to change to ordering a la carte, but were told that cancelling the course on the day would incur additional charges. Eventually, they reluctantly agreed, and the manager later came to apologize to them at their table. Overall, I felt that the restaurant was lacking in various aspects, from the reservation process to the service quality and food. Despite being fully booked, the restaurant seemed to be thriving due to its location and cost-effectiveness, but personally, I wouldn't want to visit a place like this for a course reservation again.

I entered the restaurant for the first time. It is a three-story building with a fairly spacious interior, but the distance between seats is close. It has a more casual atmosphere than a high-end restaurant, and I was surprised by the third-floor seating. Ordering is done entirely through QR codes, which is very convenient. The sushi is fresh and costs around 400 yen per piece. It's delicious! The selection of sake and shochu is limited, but highballs and draft beer are a good deal at around 500 yen for a large glass, which is great for drinkers!

I went for lunch on a weekday. There were a few customers, but it was nice to be able to relax. The drinks, sushi, tempura, and dessert were all delicious. Thank you for today.

I made a reservation for two people and we were seated at the counter. It was not too crowded as we arrived at 5:00 pm, but a few hours later they were telling customers that they were full, so maybe they had a lot of reservations. The interior was not bad, but some of the staff seemed a bit unfriendly and tense. Right from the start, one of the older staff members had a rather sharp and tense attitude. There were many employees, so not everyone was like that, but many of them lacked friendliness. As we were two young women, we felt like we were being treated carelessly and underestimated. From the counter, we could see into the kitchen, and we could hear the young staff chatting loudly throughout our meal. We placed our orders by scanning a QR code, which took us to a website with photos of the menu, making it easy to choose. However, I was disappointed that one of the dishes I was looking forward to from the menu on Tabelog was not available. We ordered a few items like salmon and ikura, which were delicious. Overall, I felt that the prices were a bit high for the taste. They have a 2-hour time limit, with last orders taken 30 minutes before closing.

- Reservation status: Booked
- Payment: Pay later
I made a reservation at a table, but had to order at the counter. It was mentioned that it was a busy time after making a reservation, so it couldn't be helped, but it was disappointing to see rice grains and dirty tables.
- Orders:
- Assorted sashimi
- Pumpkin tempura
- Sand borer tempura
- Eggplant tempura
- Assorted salmon sushi
- Wagyu beef sushi
- Tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette)
- Conger eel tempura
The service was quite fast, as once you place an order, everything arrives immediately. For those who want to eat slowly, it might be better to order little by little. The sushi had seasoned rice, and the tempura was crispy and reasonably priced, especially the vegetable tempura. While there may be many places with cheaper sushi prices per piece, this place was still good. Thank you for the meal.
