It used to be a gyoza restaurant in the same location before, right? The restaurant has around 30 seats, including counter seats, table seats, and sofa seats. They have taken thorough measures for infection prevention with acrylic barriers. Although it was close to closing time, there were a few other customers. I ordered the Hakata Tetsunabe Gyoza set meal (12 pieces) for 990 yen, which comes with rice, pickles, and soup. I also added a coriander salad for an additional 100 yen. First, I tried the coriander salad. It was a bit different from what I expected, with a moderate amount of coriander on top of lettuce. I thought it would be more coriander-heavy, but considering the price, it makes sense. The coriander was not too overpowering and easy to eat. The main dish, gyoza, was served hot on a sizzling iron plate. Each gyoza was bite-sized and juicy inside. Of course, the rice was perfect for soaking up the delicious juices. You can also change the flavor by adding some yuzu pepper provided on the table. It adds a nice spicy kick to the dish. The rice can be upgraded to a larger portion for free. However, the alcohol smell can be a concern, so it's best to have it when there are no plans afterward. I wanted to order the classic grilled gyoza, but I also wanted to try other items on the menu. However, when I tried to order just one serving of grilled gyoza, I was told that gyoza is small and it's recommended to order for two or more people. The menu even recommended ordering for three people. So I ended up ordering two servings. In addition to that, I ordered other items that I wanted to try. Here's what I ordered: Yakitori Chicken for ¥891, 2 servings of grilled gyoza for ¥1060, Coriander sauce (4 pieces) for ¥410, and 2 glasses of Asakura Highball for a total of over ¥4000. I should have just stuck with one serving of gyoza. The gyoza, a Hakata classic, had a filling with a slight sweetness from the onions and a soft texture, which is a characteristic of Hakata-style gyoza. It was delicious. Although it's a gyoza restaurant, it may be a bit pricey to drink solo and order individual items. Overall, it was a nice meal.
