After much deliberation, I chose Shinjuku Takano's Christmas cake this year. I reserved the Freres Rose 5-size cake (4,320 yen tax included) and picked it up on the 24th at the event hall on the 9th floor. There were long lines at the shops on the B1 floor with customers purchasing cakes on the day. I enjoyed the cake after dinner. The strawberries are made to look like roses. Each strawberry is large and sweet. They are very juicy. The sponge cake is a light pink color with a hint of strawberry flavor.
