Charcoal-grilled Yujishibuya, an well-known yakiniku restaurant in Shibuya, an 8-minute walk from Shibuya Station. It has a rating of 4.19 on Tabelog! Here are some of the items we ordered. The raw heart sashimi was so delicious that we ended up pouring the sauce over the rice at the end. The texture of the heart was amazing, and being able to eat it raw was the best. The liver had no unpleasant smell at all. It was amazing. By this point, we needed more rice. When you sear the surface of the mino sandwich, the meat juice is amazing! We ended up ordering another plate. We tried various cuts of meat, but the winner of the day was the harami. It melts in your mouth. The restaurant itself is quite smoky, so it's recommended to wear clothes that you can wash completely. It's said to be difficult to make a reservation, but if you line up on a weekday night, you can get in, and you can also try using the auto-reservation feature, so if you patiently try to make a reservation, you might be able to get in. We ate until we were full, drank 4-5 glasses of alcohol each, and it cost us around 19,000 yen for two people.

I was invited by a regular friend to a restaurant I had always wanted to go to. We were suddenly given the regular course, and the Motsu Nabe with tonkotsu base had a deep flavor and was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The heart sashimi had a rich sauce but surprisingly refreshing taste, and the texture was fresh. The red meat from the hormone mix was marinated perfectly with Momidare and Tsukedare, balancing the flavors. The freshness and the skilled knife work were evident in the good chewiness and tenderness. It was as delicious as a high-end meat shop, and in my opinion, this is truly the number one restaurant for classic dishes.

I finally managed to make a reservation after struggling to find an available date. The reservation was for 6:30 PM at a small restaurant, where everyone enters at the same time and orders are taken in order. I was told that we could only order once, so I asked for recommendations. Since it was my first time there and the menu was limited, I ordered bean sprout namul and 5 pieces of meat. The heart sashimi was amazing, the quality of the meat was great and the sauce was delicious. The other meats were fresh and tasty as well, although the tongue was sold out. The meat was delicious as expected, but I felt a bit disappointed overall. It seems like a place more suitable for men, as there weren't many options for women. We quickly finished our meal and left in less than an hour. It's a great value for men!

Finally got to enjoy the long-awaited yakiniku. The joy of savoring it was beyond words. I ordered the omakase course and from the first bite, my stomach was hooked. The meat was so delicious. Each dish in the omakase course made me a fan instantly. The cuts like loin, harami, and misuji were all superb, especially with the amazing sauce. I couldn't help but exclaim that I wanted to devour it all with a big bowl of rice. However, the downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective and there was a lot of smoke, making it a bit suffocating during the summer. I guess I'll have to come back in the spring or fall. Looking forward to my next visit!

Finally got to visit Yuuji, and surprisingly was able to make a reservation and enter smoothly! I mostly left the ordering up to the staff. They seem to be very particular about their charcoal, as they were brought in all the way from the charcoal storage outside the restaurant. The classic menu items were delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the liver dish. I will definitely be coming back. Eating to my heart's content for 7000 yen was great value. Just be aware that it can get a bit hot inside the restaurant!

The popular menu items include heart sashimi, liver, tongue, and hormone, with the liver being particularly good when lightly seared with sesame oil. Three of us made a reservation for 4:00 pm. The restaurant accepts reservations for two time slots, starting from 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, but the 6:00 pm slot is fully booked for the foreseeable future. The staff recommended a lot of dishes and we ended up letting them choose for us. We had a platter of offal dishes and roast beef. The restaurant was full of female groups and couples. The smoke was a bit overwhelming, especially at the table where I was sitting. The meat was incredibly delicious no matter what we tried, and we could taste the freshness. We had around three drinks each, and the total bill was a little over 20,000 yen. Despite that, we definitely want to go back to this restaurant.

We went for our first yakiniku of the year to cool off from the summer heat. We had made a reservation for 4:00 pm and started with just the two of us. I personally must have the raw tongue, so I requested it. The liver was lightly seared with sesame oil and it was amazing. This time we went for more salt. We grilled the tail, heart, tripe, and hormone with salt on the net. The chuck flap and skirt steak were cooked on the hot plate. We sandwiched grated radish with sauce and it was incredibly delicious. If I had to nitpick, the kimchi and namul were just average. Furthermore, the ventilation seemed to be malfunctioning as there was more smoke than before. Our clothes were filled with the smell of yakiniku. The service was unusually quick this time, making it a short but blissful moment. Whooo~

I visited around 8 pm on a weekday and was able to get a table. The food was absolutely delicious!! I tried the heart sashimi, harami, horumon, liver, and the recommended ichibo and sagari, which were lean cuts of meat. The heart sashimi exceeded my expectations, and the liver was also amazing. Even though the prices are on the higher side, you can't get such delicious meat anywhere else!! I had 3 drinks and the total was around 8,500 yen. Super popular restaurant in Shibuya, had empty seats near closing time. I visited once 9 years ago but don't remember much... The raw liver sashimi was delicious as it looks! I didn't know there were such delicious places in Shibuya. Hatsuhana, horumon... mouth-melting meats (kalbi and sukiyaki), wild tail, and perfect tongue, among others. If you want to eat delicious yakiniku, "Sumibi Yakiniku Yuji" in Shibuya is a great choice! I was a bit hesitant about Shibuya, but there was no reason not to go! I found out that I could make a reservation for 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM, so I called and requested a Saturday, and it was confirmed for 4:00 PM three weeks later! I had heard some high expectations from online reviews, but I was excited to try it out. On the day of the reservation, I arrived promptly at 4:00 PM, but there was no line of customers and I was seated at the counter right away. They provided a new plastic bag for my belongings, chopsticks, a wet towel, and delicious-looking edamame as a welcome gesture. Since additional orders were not allowed, I listened to the staff's recommendations and ordered the dishes I wanted to try. The first dish, hatsu sashimi, arrived and it was beautiful! I tried it with the mustard and it was delicious. I was already impressed by the restaurant at this point. The motsu nabe, senmai sashimi, liver, tongue, hormone, harami, namul, and mino sandwich were all amazing. I was in awe of how delicious everything was. I wondered why I hadn't come here sooner. Although the restaurant seemed small at first, it was actually quite comfortable once I sat down. The staff were kind and the atmosphere was great. This was my first time here, but I felt right at home. I couldn't help but say, "It was delicious!" which is not something I usually do. I was extremely satisfied and I will definitely make another reservation to come back!
