This is my second time here and the kombu salt I liked from last time was no longer available. I also tried chorizo, tongue, and shiitake mushrooms, although they are not in the photos. I ordered the Genki Harami and Mino Sand as well, just like last time. I dipped the pork belly in sauce and ate it with rice, and it was incredibly delicious, it went really well with the white rice.

Visited the yakiniku restaurant, Hormone Niku Shop Ogawa Store in Tsuruhashi for the first time. Ordered the Red Meat 3 types platter for 1200 yen and the Hormone Assorted 3 types platter for 600 yen. The Red Meat platter arrived, looking quite nice. It consisted of belly, loin, and skirt meat. Grilled it sizzling and enjoyed it. It was delicious with no unpleasant smell, although the skirt meat was a bit dry. The Hormone Assorted platter arrived with Akasen (beef intestine), heart, and crunchy parts. You can let them know in advance if you have any preferences or dislikes for certain types of hormone meat. Again, no unpleasant smell and quite tasty. I added the upper skirt meat to see how it would be, and it was slightly more moist. The sauce was a bit on the lighter side, but as you eat, the meat fat adds good flavor. You can also request garlic and other condiments. It wasn't incredibly amazing, but considering the price, it was good quality meat. We enjoyed reasonably priced yakiniku.

The area around Tsuruhashi has shops that close early... I was looking for a place that was still open, and I found Ogawa Shoten open so I went in! I had been curious about it for a while, so it was my first visit! It seems to be a popular place, as I waited for about 15 minutes outside before entering! I was planning to eat a lot of yakiniku, but I ended up getting full with the side dishes! The recommended hormone dishes were exceptionally delicious! I will definitely go back to eat lots of yakiniku leisurely♪

I wanted to eat yakiniku, so I searched for a place that was still open late and decided to try this one. I had harami, raw senmai, tetchan upper mino, and liver - just your average yakiniku. The harami seemed to have a bit of a smell to it. It was cheap, so maybe that's to be expected? The seats on both sides of the counter were empty and the staff kept wiping them constantly, so I couldn't really relax and enjoy my meal. They must have been really bored. Thank you for the meal!

I was drawn in by the charcoal fire and decided to give it a try. The interior of the restaurant was also clean and nice. Now, onto their signature dish, the "Mega Maruchou" - at first, I was skeptical about the appearance, but when I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! It was juicy and tender, easy to chew and very delicious. It's completely different from what you would get at other places! Definitely worth a try. The cost was around 7,000 yen for two people, which is reasonable.

Three of us old friends were looking for a yakiniku restaurant where smoking is allowed, so we researched and decided to visit this place based on reviews. The seating options included counter seats, tables for 2 or 4 people, and even more on the second floor. It was easy to get a table regardless of the group size. We ordered a variety of rice, drinks, and meat, and then added a few more items after trying everything. We chose what we wanted to eat without worrying too much, and it came out to a little over 6000 yen per person. Since not many of us were heavy drinkers, if you focus on eating, you can expect to spend around this amount. The Wagyu Harami by Ogawa Genki was a great value for the quality. If I have the chance to go again, I will definitely order it. The location is also convenient for transportation, so I highly recommend it.

There is a main store in Nishinakajima, and recently, Ogawa Shoten, which is expanding its stores, has opened a new one in the fiercely competitive yakiniku area of Tsuruhashi! I went there right away. It's like a casual yakiniku place, similar to "Yakiniku Horumon Sora," with a wide variety of horumon dishes. The quality of the meat is not the main focus here, but rather the variety of horumon dishes. They have fresh horumon dishes, including salt horumon that you can eat with salted kelp, which was delicious! The red meat dishes are just average. The black wagyu harami yukke (1000 yen) was sweet and went really well with white rice. The "toro toro pig feet" (450 yen) was as described, very tender and the soup had a good balance of salt. The "tetchan shio" (400 yen), "tan kalbi & tetchan tare" (500 yen + 600 yen), and "tsurami" (500 yen) were all delicious. The "roast" (500 yen) was easy to eat and had good quality for the price. The "aka kara small intestine" (600 yen) was a specialty, not spicy at all, just a tasty small intestine. The "tail slice" (600 yen) was my first time trying it, not much meat around the bone but still tasty. The "red meat 3 kinds assortment" (1200 yen) and "shio tan" (900 yen) were okay, but maybe a bit expensive considering the meat quality. The "Ogawa genki harami" (600 yen) with plenty of leeks and garlic was good. The "hiyashi chuka" (800 yen) had a gentle broth, almost too gentle that it lacked flavor after eating the noodles, but it was still delicious. The "kimchi assortment" (550 yen) and large rice (400 yen) were good additions. We spent around 15,000 yen for 3 people, but with a free drink for adding a LINE friend, it came down to around 13,000 yen in the end.

June 22, 2022. Tsuruhashi Hormone Meat Shop Ogawa Shoten Today, June 22nd, Open!! I've been curious since I saw the announcement in Tsuruhashi, so I came on the opening day! It seems like they have affiliated stores in Nihonbashi as well, but is their specialty really fresh hormone meat? It was boldly written on the shop's lantern, so I felt like I had to try it. Therefore, I ordered the Harami Yukke. In the end, I may have ordered too much for one person, but I also ordered Tsurami, garlic Harami, salted tongue, and kimchi assortment. I also ordered a beer, but first, the salted tongue was brought to the table. It was so delicious! Along with the kimchi assortment, I ended up finishing two slices of tongue with the beer, and thought, "I need some rice with this." I added rice. The Harami Yukke was also rich and flavorful! Oh no! I need more beer... Anyway, the food was so good that I couldn't help but keep eating. This is a place where you can enjoy various types of meat by going with two or more people and sharing. If you go alone, you'll get full quickly, haha. It felt like it might be hard to make a reservation soon, but Tsuruhashi is already a fiercely competitive area for yakiniku. Perhaps it was just me being too hungry. Regardless, I definitely want to visit this place again. Thank you for the meal. #Yakiniku #OsakaYakiniku #OgawaShoten #HormoneMeatShopOgawaShoten #Tsuruhashi #TsuruhashiYakiniku #Yakiniku #Hormone

Visit: March 6, 2023 (Sunday) around 7:30 PM
Cost: Approximately 9,100 yen (for 2 people)
This is a favorite restaurant where you can enjoy hormone dishes at a good cost performance (*^^*). I have visited the Nihonbashi branch several times, but this was my first visit to the Tsuruhashi branch! After finishing our anniversary trip, we made a last-minute reservation and visited the restaurant on the night we returned home (*´`*). We were guided to a table on the second floor where there were table seats. The food is brought up from the first floor to the second floor using a special elevator for dishes? However, there was always one staff member stationed on the second floor, so we had no trouble ordering. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos this day, but we enjoyed various dishes such as hormone, harami, and raw liver, drank a lot of alcohol, and even enjoyed the closing menu, all while still experiencing the great cost performance as always! Everything was delicious, and so far, there hasn't been a menu item that disappointed us (^^). Next time, I will make sure to save photos and menus properly so I can remember it all ( ;∀;). In any case, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal (^^).

The taste is good, the staff is good, and the cost performance is good. I think there is no better place to go for yakiniku.

The price and taste are proportional to each other to some extent.

Many dishes are seasoned with garlic. The meat took a very long time to come out after ordering.

Repeat customer. Delicious! The pork skirt steak is tasty. I wish there was a bit more flavor in the raw intestine with sauce. The bibimbap is delicious. It was difficult to grill the marinated intestines. Around 4000 yen per person.

Today, I decided to have a barbecue at home with my sister's family. They bought some meat from a butcher in Tsuruhashi. The meats they bought were:
- Beef skirt steak (153g) for 719 yen
- Domestic beef intestine (138g) for 483 yen
- Beef skirt steak (118g) for 448 yen
- Beef small intestine (132g) for 303 yen
- Top sirloin (296g) for 2,012 yen
- Pork belly (307g) for 2,087 yen
- Pork belly skewers (315g) for 1,701 yen
- Cho-jang sauce for 500 yen
The prices were very reasonable, but the taste was just okay. The meat was a bit tough. I especially love small intestine, and it's always a must-order for me at barbecue restaurants. But being able to take out and enjoy it at home was a first and an amazing experience. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Ogawa Shoten Tsuruhashi Strengthening Week Part 4! On this day, I skipped breakfast and lunch (just overslept) and went all the way to Nanko for my daughter's favorite idol event. After finishing the event, my daughter said she was hungry and wanted to eat yakiniku. So, we decided to go to Tsuruhashi! We searched for a restaurant that was open at 3 pm for lunch, which was quite a strict condition. We came across Ogawa Shoten, which I didn't know existed in Tsuruhashi, even though I had been to the Namba location several times! We were able to get in without a reservation as they had just opened, but there were customers coming in one after another. There were many middle-aged men enjoying yakiniku and beer, which was great to see. I recommend the fresh liver for those who love horumon! (Let's grill it) The meat and drinks were quite reasonable, and I will definitely come back. The proximity to the station is also convenient! Reservations are a must on weekends. #OsakaYakiniku #MeatLover #MeatLoverGirl #Yakiniku #InstaGourmetAward2023 #MeatTerror #Meatpedia #Nurse #OsakaGourmet #KansaiGourmet #Meat #WantToConnectWithMeatLovers #SexyMeatCommittee #PhotoGenicMeat #Yukke #Tabelog #MeatLoverGirl #KansaiYakiniku #YakinikuRestaurant #YakinikuDinner #YakinikuInstagram #Meatstagram #Meat #OgawaShoten #Tsuruhashi #TsuruhashiLunch #TsuruhashiYakiniku #TsuruhashiGourmet #KoreanTown #Horumon
