There is a knack to choosing delicious restaurants. Generally, places where locals gather are tasty. It's like being able to distinguish between a fake sushi restaurant and a proper one when we travel abroad. This restaurant is produced by Korean food researcher Pak Jong-won. No misses here! About 70-80% of the customers at Hanshin Pocha are Korean. And because the prices are low (with generous portions), you'll see a lot of international students as well. The signature dish is the spicy braised chicken feet called "Hanshin Tappal." It's super spicy for the average person, but just right for me. I enjoyed it with a sweet Korean juice called "Sujoongwa," creating a great flavor combination! However, the chicken feet have little meat. If you want more meat, try the "Cheese Deji Kochujang BBQ." Dip the Kochujang-flavored samgyeopsal in cheese for a sinful experience! It's so delicious, I wonder what makes it different? Maybe they use a special Kochujang? Many women were ordering this dish, so maybe it's a popular choice for cheat days. With one drink and one food item per person, you'll leave feeling satisfied, making it very cost-effective.

I went around 11 pm on Tuesday and there were a lot of people. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was not very Japanese-like, which was really nice. A sweet and delicious fruit punch-like dish came out as an appetizer, it was really tasty. I had chicken marinated in soy sauce and deep-fried, along with eggs. Pickled radish and cabbage salad also came out and they were delicious.

Visited around 7pm on Friday. The restaurant was almost full. I ordered Tomato Sauce Kalmarri for ¥1380, Corn Cheese Gyoza for ¥980, and Hansington Duck for ¥1680. The portions were large, so the cost performance was great! The Corn Cheese Gyoza was delicious! Next time, I will try the Dalgona Pingsu and Bulgogi!

I went after 8 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was still bustling. I was able to get in without waiting, but it was always full. However, even if there was a wait, it didn't seem too long. As rumored, both of my neighbors were Korean, and the atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel like I was on a mini trip. The appetizer fee was 300 yen, and the dishes were mostly in the low 1000 yen range, with portions that could be shared among several people. I thought it was a great place for when you want to eat heartily or just have a quick drink. The food was delicious!

I came back because I really liked it last time. I don't know Pak Jeongwon, but there is another shop nearby that he produces. I had a reservation, but it was quite crowded that day, almost full. There were a lot of young people and Koreans. - Han Shin Tongdak (whole fried chicken): Everyone praised it. The skin is super crispy and delicious. - Tatton Chip (stir-fried gizzard): Lots of garlic and spicy. - Sokogyujong (beef pancake): Delicious but a bit oily this time. - Dattari Saldepanchim (chicken thigh with leeks): A strange taste. Not great, left over. - Self-chumokbab (rice ball): Delicious as before. - Kimchi jjongol (kimchi hot pot): Delicious as before. The sourness of the kimchi is perfect. - Added to the rice pot to finish. - Bottle of beer. - Pear juice, very very sweet. - Chamisul (muscat), very sweet. - Chamisul (plum), very sweet. All the dishes are delicious. Each dish is quite generous in portion. You will be full. Thank you for the meal.

Visited with 4 people who love Korean food. I had zero expectations because I didn't know anything about this place being produced by Pek Jong-won or whatever. ⚫︎ Hemulmodum Pokkum (stir-fried seafood platter) seems to be the restaurant's signature dish. Not red but quite spicy and authentic. A delicious umami spicy flavor not commonly found in Japan. Yum!! ⚫︎ Sokogi Yujjong (beef pancake) Made with proper beef, not just scraps. Delicious when eaten with sauce and leeks. ⚫︎ Hanshin Tondak (fried whole chicken) The chicken I had in Korea didn't suit my taste at all, but this one was delicious!! No weird taste. It's crispy with potato starch. Super delicious. The radish side dish was so good that we ordered more multiple times! ⚫︎ Self Jumokbap This is trendy. I wanted to try it. It's like an easy version of Bibimbap. Mix it all together and make a ball yourself. Surprisingly, mayonnaise goes well with it. ⚫︎ Kimchi Chongol (kimchi hot pot) Medium level of spiciness. The sourness of the kimchi is perfect. The pork and sausages are great. We added two servings of rice towards the end. So tasty. Every dish we had was delicious. High quality. I used to look down on Korean restaurants in Namba as a place for young people to go. I'm sorry. The portion size for each dish is large. It's perfect for sharing among a few people. The female staff were a bit off, but the male staff were very friendly. They all seemed Korean. Thank you for the meal.

I tried Hanshin Tappal and Chumoppa! Tappal is quite spicy, so I don't recommend it for those who don't like spicy food, but you can add toppings like cheese! You can also add more toppings later! I was a bit worried about Tappal because it's chicken feet, but I was able to eat it without any issues!

We lined up at the restaurant. Inside, almost everyone speaking was speaking Korean. It felt like being in Korea. We went as a group of two, so we couldn't order many dishes. I wanted to try everything... Plus, my companion couldn't handle spicy food, so we couldn't fully enjoy the spicy dishes. I wanted to try making my own rice ball. The chicken was delicious though.

I visited on a weekday. Unlike weekends, it was not crowded. The corn cheese dumplings were as delicious as always!

I made a reservation for 7:00 PM on Saturday and the restaurant was always full, but there was no time limit and I was satisfied. Eighty percent of the customers were Korean!!

The authentic and delicious traditional Korean flavors✨ The atmosphere of the staff is great and they have a wide variety of drinks. The Han Shin Tondak, a round fried chicken dish, is amazing! The Mokteokui is a dish that goes well with alcohol.

The male staff in the Korean restaurant were very friendly and the atmosphere inside was nice. I thought the Korean food would be authentic, but it was too spicy... And of course, the portion was very generous. Thank you.
