I didn't know there was a grilled shabu-shabu restaurant near my house at all. I saw it on Instagram ads and was so curious, so I finally came! After watching a movie with my grandmother, she said she wanted to eat something delicious, so we chose this restaurant! The interior was a mix of Japanese and modern style, with large plates that stood out. We chose the Suki Course, where you can select Yukke, appetizers, specialty dishes, and a finale. The Toro Taku spring rolls from the appetizers were delicious with the refreshing taste of shiso leaves. I also liked the butter on the baguette that came with the Yukke. The grilled shabu-shabu meat was large and looked fancy. We had four types of meat: beef toro, ranichi, top loin, and sirloin. The marbling was a bit thick for my liking, but grilling it on a hot iron plate made the fat melt, so it wasn't as noticeable as I thought. There were plenty of condiments, so we could enjoy eating it in a refreshing way or change the flavor. While grilling the meat, we were served with red meat steak as a palate cleanser. The sauce was a demi-glace using ponzu, which I liked so much that I wanted to take it home! For the finale, we debated between dashi chazuke or cold noodles, but we chose cold noodles for a refreshing finish. We ordered one with tomato and one with chicken white soup, but the base flavor was almost the same with just a hint of difference. If you want a bit of acidity, I recommend the tomato one. Finally, we were served green tea ice cream, and it was a satisfying course meal. My grandmother, although older, eats almost the same amount as me, so I think even older people can finish the meal. I would love to go back again! ❤️
