みやことわか
When I went to Nopporo, I bought several items. When I first saw the shop, I was surprised by the large and modern-retro interior, which looked like an old-fashioned confectionery shop. I was also surprised by the variety of sweets they had, including Western sweets, Japanese sweets, baked sweets, and fresh sweets. This time, I bought an apple pie cake version, a melty chocolate (baked sweet), a pound cake (chestnut and sesame), a charcoal-baked coffee cupcake, a leaf pie, and a marble cheesecake. The apple pie cake was moist with a firm apple compote on the bottom, a sponge and almond cream sponge in the middle, and a slightly tart crust on the bottom. Unfortunately, the bottom broke when I tried to transfer it to a plate, which was quite sad. The taste was quite moist, so it would be good to have tea with it. The melty chocolate had a chocolate cream sandwiched between chocolate sponges, giving a rich and nostalgic taste. It was delicious when chilled, but I wasn't sure of the best way to eat it. Personally, I recommend green tea with it. Later on, I tried the melty chocolate again after leaving it in the refrigerator. This time, I chilled it completely and it was delicious! The sponge was sponge-like, and the cream was thick but gradually melted in the mouth with a fruity flavor. The pound cakes were moist with a butter or liqueur-infused texture that I quite liked. But still, I recommend having green tea with them (laughs). The cupcake had a coffee aroma and a sticky chocolate topping on a pound cake-like base. The leaf pie was a bit heavy and soggy, with a sweet underside and a crunchy texture. The Brick Story and Kumagera both had a crispy and fragrant taste from the soba flour used in the crust. The Brick Story had white sesame seeds and a traditional milk bean paste filling, while Kumagera had mochi and sweet beans. Both were nostalgic and satisfying, with Kumagera and the leaf pie being my favorites from this selection. Overall, they were all familiar and occasionally craving-inducing flavors. A delightful meal!
