I went to Watanabe Street to enjoy some casual French cuisine! According to a TV show, the owner decided to open a food stall in Fukuoka after connecting with enthusiastic Hawks fans at a food stall while visiting. Due to COVID-19, I couldn't go for a while, but when I arrived around 6:50 PM, surprisingly about half of the seats were empty! The stall is now one of the most popular in Fukuoka, known for its long lines. I was excited to visit and ordered a beer, recommended escargot, and cheese ratatouille. The escargot was rich and delicious! I wished I had some bread to go with it. Next, I ordered sparkling wine (650 yen) which was refreshing and tasty. The cheese ratatouille was served in a skillet with eggplant, taro, Brussels sprouts, bell peppers, and something else I couldn't remember. It was delicious, and the portion was generous. I also ordered red wine and homemade sausages, which were surprisingly light and tasty. I ended up quite full! The owner's family was also there that day, with their 10-year-old son helping out with cooking. The atmosphere was lively, and the wait for tables started to grow, so I paid the bill. In total, with beer, sparkling wine, red wine, and three dishes, it came to 5830 yen. I'll definitely come back next time with more energy and drinks! Thank you for the delicious meal!

We met up at Remi's place before going out for drinks. It was a lively and fun atmosphere, with delicious food and great conversations. The roasted chicken (I don't know the exact name) recommended by my friend was amazing, and the garlic toast was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was all so delicious!

The other day, I visited a restaurant that was featured on TV, Remi's place. I mentioned that I wanted to try a food stall, and I was taken to a place in Fukuoka where there is always a long line. Surprisingly, it turned out to be Remi's place! After waiting for about 10 minutes, we were seated. The beautiful mama at the restaurant caught my eye. The master was making some strange jokes, but it was all in good fun. My companion had never tried escargot before, so we ordered escargot and shrimp ajillo, and had two glasses of wine. It was a casual dining experience, similar to a chain restaurant, but the presence of the beautiful mama at Remi's place gets my vote!

I thought there was only one stall with an unusually long line, but it turned out to be Remi's. I waited for about an hour before getting in. I ordered today's quiche, chicken confit, and cod and potato gratin. Each dish was delicious and well-prepared. The staff were friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable.

I went to Remi's house! It was so much fun talking with Remi ♡ It was really hot, so a fan or a hand fan is a must. The escargot was delicious, and the confit was also very tasty!!!!!!

It's a popular food stall run by a French owner. The body language works, but Japanese is also understood. There were a total of 4 staff members working, and the service was efficient. Despite arriving 20 minutes early, there was already a line of 12 people, but the turnover was quick and I was seated soon. I ordered escargot, mussels, and pig's trotters in advance. The escargot was a rare find in Kumamoto, and the mussels reminded me of Le Mont-Saint-Michel. The pig's trotters had a French touch and melted in the heat. Overall, the dishes were delicious. I should have ordered toast, but the limited space made me opt for other dishes. It was an honor to toast with the owner, Remi, who has a great sense of humor. The food was interesting and it's easy to see why this place is so popular.

Everyone loves Remi's cooking, it's truly delicious French cuisine. Not only that, the prices are great and it's worth lining up for. Remi is a funny and caring person who always looks out for each customer, even when it's busy. He checks in on the line regularly, so waiting doesn't feel like a chore.

Arrived at 22:00. Thought I was lucky as there were seats available, but there was a line of about 20 people towards the back wall. Finally got seated at 23:15 (just before last order) and ordered quiche. It was sold out, so I tried to order ratatouille but that was also sold out. Managed to order my third choice, lasagna. According to Remi, the lasagna is made from scratch, both the dough and the sauce, and it's quite a hassle to make.

I couldn't make a reservation at Remi's food stall. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told to wait after being shown the menu as the first customer. The recommended dishes were escargot and quiche, so I ordered those along with a few other items. I had about 2 drinks per person and 6 food items, totaling just under 3,000 yen. The food was delicious and chatting with Remi and the others was enjoyable!

Tenjin Minami Station, 1 minute walk, "Remi's House" This time, I ordered individual items while waiting in line. Ordered items (* indicates favorite menu) ・Pumpkin Gnocchi ¥750 *Absolutely delicious! Escargot ¥850 *Shrimp and Mushroom Ajillo ¥750 The pumpkin gnocchi is made with homemade gnocchi in a gratin style. It definitely tastes like pumpkin! The chewy texture, just like with the potato gnocchi, is still there. So delicious! The escargot is a recommended menu item from the restaurant. And it truly is incredibly delicious! The texture is great, and the seasoning is amazing. Before you know it, your wine glass will be empty. By the way, the house wine is only ¥500 per glass, and they generously pour it for you, so it's really cost-effective. The Shrimp and Mushroom Ajillo has both shrimp and mushrooms, making it a mixed type of ajillo! And they don't increase the price for that, which is nice. Personally, I thought the mushrooms were tastier than the shrimp! Even though the shrimp was listed first on the menu! Haha This atmosphere is addictive. If you come here, you won't be disappointed with Remi's House. As long as there is a line, the seating is on a 45-minute limit, but the dishes keep coming out, so it's a packed 45 minutes! Haha It's a very enjoyable time, and I can see why everyone becomes a fan. It's tiring to wait in line, but I will definitely come back someday to try the quiche that was sold out! ------------ Helpful Tips ------------ Visit Date: At the time of the visit *The quiche is a must-try, but it might sell out!? *Seating is on a 45-minute limit as long as there is a line ---------------------------------------

I had heard about this restaurant a long time ago on the internet news and had always wanted to go, but when I last visited Hakata, it was closed due to COVID-19, which made me sad. Finally, my wish came true and I was able to go. The location is very close to Tenjin Minami Station, with department stores and large electronics stores nearby. It was my first time seeing food stalls lined up in such a big city and I was truly impressed. On the other hand, there was a line of about 20 people at this stall. I was worried about how long I would have to wait, but I was able to sit down in about an hour, so as someone used to waiting in lines like at Ichiran, it was not a problem at all. I ordered the recommended quiche, Burgundy-style escargot, and cod gratin that had been featured in the media. I didn't hesitate with my drink choice and ordered a white French wine. The white wine had a refreshing taste with a mineral feel, which I thought would pair well with the escargot. The quiche was rich with an elegant taste and a melting texture. As for the escargot, many people may be used to eating it at Saizeriya, but compared to that, it had a stronger seafood flavor and less sauce, making it a very delicious dish. Finally, the gratin was creamy and you could clearly taste the seafood, making it a perfect match for the white wine. As for the owner, Remi-san, he entertained all the customers with overwhelming enthusiasm and hospitality, just as the rumors had said. It was a wonderful food stall that made me feel truly grateful to have come.

I will omit the food images. Local friends told me that food stalls are not worth going to, and now I understand why. It can be summed up in one word: "cramped." Also, because it's a popular food stall, there were constantly long lines, creating a rushed atmosphere where you couldn't relax. The food stalls also prioritize turnover, so they bring out all the ordered dishes at once, making the already small tables spill over into the neighboring tables. It was awkward and I didn't feel like staying long. Not all food stalls may be like this, but I don't think I'll be going to any more food stalls...

I finally made it to the food stall that my friend has been wanting to visit for a while! It was so popular, even on TV. In the past, food stalls were mostly used by older people, but now it's all young folks! And to think we can now get Italian food from a foreigner at a food stall! Quite a change from the bubble economy days of the Showa era! It was a night full of excitement and amazement! LOL

On Saturday night, I braved the line and arrived at 19:24. I was given the menu quite early on, and took my order just before being seated. I ordered Escargot for 850 yen, Cod and Potato Gratin for 850 yen, and Sparkling Wine for 700 yen. I was seated at 20:45. The service towards women was a bit iffy. The man next to me, who was a foreign solo diner, was speaking in English the whole time. I'm not good at English so I couldn't catch everything, but he said he was doing it because he likes people! There were a lot of female customers, and they were complimenting him, but he responded with "It's just business" with a laugh. Since it's a food stall, they just reheat the food that's already prepared, so it comes out quickly. The taste was average. Surprisingly, the house white wine I ordered for my second drink was quite good. Overall, it was an okay experience. There may be better food stalls out there. He mentioned that Thursdays are slow!

I went to the restaurant on a Saturday around 7 pm, expecting a long line. There were over 20 people waiting, but surprisingly I was seated in about 50 minutes. While waiting in line, I could hear Remi's cheerful voice from the food stall, which made me excited. They take your order before you sit down, and the drinks and menu are ready when you arrive at your table. I was caught off guard when the lasagna arrived before I even settled in, but I understood that they had to be quick to accommodate everyone in 50 minutes. The lasagna was delicious, followed by quiche, escargot, and more dishes arriving one after another. Remi's jokes quickly passed by in the fast-paced service. I regretted not ordering slowly to enjoy the meal more. I wanted to order more, but the food came out so quickly that I decided to leave early without ordering more drinks. The restaurant charges a table fee of 200 yen per person, but there are no appetizers included. Among the three restaurants I visited, this was the only one with a table charge at the food stall. Remi is very friendly and the food is delicious, so I was very satisfied with my visit. I would recommend this restaurant to those who really want to go.

On my first visit to the food stalls in Hakata, I decided to stop by Remi's place. I happened to come across it while walking to the restaurant I had made a reservation at. I knew the name of the place, and seeing the long line outside confirmed its popularity. When I passed by again on my way back, the line had gotten shorter, so I decided to wait in line. After a 50-minute wait, I finally climbed onto the slightly high chair and was warmly greeted by energetic Remi. Since I had already placed my order while waiting, my drink arrived almost immediately after sitting down, followed by the dishes I had ordered. The first dish was an Ebi and Mushroom Ajillo. The shrimp was fresh, but the dish was not as stewed as I expected from an Ajillo. I dipped the freshly baked baguette in the olive oil it was cooked in, but it was just an ordinary baguette. Next was the Porcini-infused Big Sausage. It had a homemade feel to it, but I couldn't really taste the Porcini, so I just ate the large sausage as it was. The third dish, Cod and Potato Gratin, was served piping hot. It was my first time having Cod in a gratin, and it was a pleasant surprise. It was a nice season to enjoy both the wait and the meal. Remi's entertaining personality makes it a fun place to visit!

At a food stall in Hakata, I had French cuisine. I was surprised when the dishes started coming out one after another as soon as I sat down. And Remi-san was amazing! When a piece of bread almost fell out of the toaster, she caught it like a juggler. The garlic shrimp and grilled dishes looked hot but were actually cool to the touch. The food was seriously delicious. The pork trotters were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The ratatouille was more like a cheesy vegetable medley than traditional ratatouille. If you've only had escargot at a chain restaurant, you have to try this - it's on another level. I had one dish by myself and the bill was under 5000 yen for two people, which was another surprise. If you can't get a seat at the 18:00 opening, be prepared to wait for about 40 minutes. I hate waiting, but I was relieved when the food came out as soon as I sat down. It's the most popular stall in the area, so be prepared to wait if you go.

Remy's place in Fukuoka is a must-visit spot where you can enjoy French cuisine at a food stall. I was surprised to find out that Remy, the owner, is a French man, not a Japanese woman as I initially thought. The atmosphere was warm and lively, even though it was a cold night at the food stall. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. It was a memorable experience dining at Remy's place. Highly recommended for those looking for a unique dining experience in Fukuoka.

A popular French food stall in Tenjin, Fukuoka. All the staff are French! They are all lively and cheerful! Especially the owner, Remi, has a very high energy level, and his jokes had all the customers laughing throughout. It's no wonder it's a popular spot, we had to wait for about 80 minutes on a weekday at 7:00 PM. Finally, we were able to sit down with a group of 4 and shared the following dishes: - Meat sauce lasagna ¥850 - Delicious escargot ¥850 - Pumpkin gnocchi ¥750 - Juicy shrimp ajillo ¥750 - Quiche of the day ¥650 The lasagna was chewy and had plenty of crispy cheese on top, very delicious! The escargot had a crunchy texture like clams and the garlic butter was amazing! The gnocchi had a sticky texture with the sweetness of pumpkin, highly recommended! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced, we were very satisfied! *There is a table charge of ¥200 per person.

Le Remi, who is from France, runs a popular food stall where you can enjoy creative casual French cuisine such as escargot and quiche, authentic dishes from France. Le Remi came to Fukuoka in 1999 and fell in love with the atmosphere of Fukuoka's food stalls. After working at an izakaya in Fukuoka and studying Japanese, he finally fulfilled his dream and opened this food stall in April 2017. The stall is located in front of Tenjin Loft. The nearest station is a 2-minute walk from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 6pm to 11pm, Saturday from 6pm to midnight, closed on Sundays, Mondays, and in bad weather. There are 10 counter seats only, and reservations are not accepted, so you need to line up. The popular dishes are the amazing escargot and the quiche of the day! You can enjoy the lively atmosphere of the stall while watching the French owner Le Remi cook and interact with customers. The popular escargot is cooked with butter, parsley, garlic, and served with a crispy texture and a garlicky butter flavor, without any unpleasant smell. The quiche of the day has a flaky pastry crust filled with plenty of ingredients such as pumpkin, onions, and ham, with a hot and crispy texture. Although it was not recommended, the cheese fondue toast was my favorite. I would definitely visit again when I'm in Hakata. [Order] ◇ Juicy shrimp ajillo 750 yen ◇ Amazing escargot 850 yen ◇ Quiche of the day 650 yen ◇ Cheese fondue toast 650 yen

I went to Remi's house, which was featured on the show "Why did you come to Japan?" I had been wanting to go there since watching the show, so I was happy to finally visit! When I first went around 7 o'clock, the line was too long so I gave up. But when I went around 9 o'clock, the line had gotten shorter so I decided to go in. I tried the recommended quiche and escargot, and both were delicious! Especially the escargot was chewy and tasty. Remi's character was fun, and it was a very enjoyable restaurant experience!
