Today, I met up with a friend in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, and we decided to go eat yakiniku together. We went to a restaurant located between Honmachi Station and Shinsaibashi Station called Itamae Yakiniku Ichigyuu. It seems to be a restaurant that serves yakiniku in a counter-style where the meat is cut and served in front of you. They have branches in Kitashinchi and Dotonbori, and this Shinsaibashi branch seems to be the main store. We were guided to a semi-private room where we could relax, and the restaurant had a clean and nice atmosphere. They had a touch panel system for ordering food, and we checked out the menu. They also had course menus with all-you-can-drink options. We decided to order a la carte and chose the meats we wanted to eat. The menu listed various brands of beef such as Kobe beef, Sendai beef, Saga beef, Kumamoto beef, Yamagata beef, Kagoshima beef, Yamaguchi beef, and Miyagi beef. They are known for purchasing black wagyu beef from around the country in a "single purchase" style, which allows them to offer rare cuts of meat. They also had a variety of horumon (offal) dishes. We started with some drinks and appetizers. We ordered a Namul platter with spinach, carrots, bean sprouts, and fiddleheads, which was a perfect size for two people. Then, the meat we ordered arrived. We tried the Special Salted Tongue first, which was delicious and juicy. Next, we had the Special Chateaubriand, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. Their specialty dish, the Kobe 8-stage platter, arrived next. It consisted of 8 different cuts of beef, including Kobe beef loin, Kobe beef yakiniku, Special Salted Tongue, Special Fillet, Special Loin, Wagyu Cut-off, Special Kalbi, and Special Harami. Each cut was beautifully presented and labeled, making it easy to enjoy them in order. We enjoyed each cut of meat, starting with the Kobe beef loin which had a perfect balance of lean meat and fat, followed by the Kobe beef yakiniku which was tender and melted in our mouths. The Special Salted Tongue was so good that we ordered it again. The Special Fillet had a nice thickness and was grilled to perfection. Overall, the experience at Itamae Yakiniku Ichigyuu was fantastic, and we savored every bite of the premium beef they offered.

It was disappointing that many items were sold out. The meat was very delicious, and they seem to be particular about using tender cuts. The harami (skirt steak) and salted tongue were especially delicious! There seemed to be many foreign customers. The private room had a spacious table, which was nice.

I went to the teppanyaki restaurant Itamae Yakiniku Ichigyu in Minami Senba 3-chome to replenish my stamina for the next three days. First, I had a refreshing draft beer. The cabbage kimchi appetizer and assorted kimchi were delicious. Then, I enjoyed the special salted tongue and thick-cut tongue yakiniku. The color salad was beautiful. The premium kalbi and Kobe beef loin yakiniku were outstanding. The Toromakko (fatty meat) was also very tasty. I drank some Makgeolli and enjoyed the spicy namul assortment. The special harami, premium kalbi, and premium hump yakiniku were all excellent. The special tetchan and sandmino yakiniku were also delicious. The nori tamagomaki egg sushi was a delightful finish. Unfortunately, diving in Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture was canceled due to the impact of Typhoon 14. However, we switched gears and went on a gourmet tour in Osaka instead. For breakfast, we had sushi. For lunch, we enjoyed udon noodles. And for dinner, we decided on yakiniku for the first time. I ordered the Kobe 8-tier platter and kimchi assortment to go with my favorite beer. The meat was incredibly delicious, and the beer went down way too easily. The restaurant was a bit away from the crowded areas, so we could enjoy our meal in peace. It was a fantastic dinner. Thank you for the feast.

I came back after a long time and found that for the 3rd anniversary, a special selection of 3 types of meat platter is half price at 4980 yen! All the meats here are delicious no matter what you choose. I ordered the Marushin that the manager is hooked on. It tastes like a mix of sirloin and skirt steak. This is addictive. I also used a coupon for a champagne bottle gift and enjoyed the course meal! I don't usually eat a lot of meat, but everything was so delicious. I was surprised at how filling the course was, I wonder if most people can finish it all in one go...? I want to go back when I'm even hungrier!

Ordering food and drinks is easy with the touch panel system. We started with the special salted tongue, which is finely sliced with a nice texture and delicious taste. Then, we tried the Kobe 8-tier platter, which features a variety of premium meats displayed beautifully. Each type of meat is sliced for easy eating. The platter includes Kobe beef loin, Kobe beef yakiniku, special salted tongue, special hump, special Japanese beef cut-offs, special harami, and special kalbi - a total of 8 varieties. Although we accidentally ordered the same special salted tongue at first, it was so delicious that we didn't mind. The yakiniku dipped in egg sauce is incredibly delicious. The meats are all sliced for easy eating. For the finale, we had the exquisite sirloin steak, served with garlic chips on the side, reminiscent of a teppanyaki restaurant. The staircase of meat dishes is visually appealing here. Of course, when you come, you have to order the famous 8-tiered platter. And when it comes to yakiniku, personally, tongue is a must! So I also order it as a single item. The special salted tongue is even softer with careful knife work. The 8-tiered platter that appeared on this day looks like this: Kobe beef sirloin, Kobe beef grilled shabu, special salted tongue, premium fillet, special sirloin, special wagyu cut-off, special kalbi, special harami. It's nice that each piece is served individually. The meat is enjoyed with fruity sauce, soy sauce, salt, and wasabi. The fruity sauce goes well with the juicy meat. Salt and wasabi, or soy sauce and wasabi are also good. I don't like to cook the meat too much, I prefer to enjoy the rare inside. The premium sirloin steak came out looking like it was cooked on a teppanyaki grill. It was amazing when eaten with garlic chips on top, the fat was delicious. And when paired with Yamazaki Highball, it was perfect. This place had whiskies like Yamazaki and Hakushu, so I immediately ordered one. The Yamazaki whisky cleansed the fat in my mouth. It was a reset, ready to enjoy another cut of meat in an infinite loop. Having one tong per person was also a nice touch. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

I wandered around looking for a place to have dinner. The noise in Minami was too much, so I headed north in search of a quiet place and found one. There was a menu outside the restaurant, and I was surprised by the reasonable prices. The restaurant was very clean, which drew me in. The quality of the meat for the price was quite impressive. I usually eat cheap meat to get full, but it was a celebration so I went to eat high-end yakiniku! I enjoyed it carefully while grilling the meat. Personally, the beef tongue was the most delicious! I also recommend the bean sprout namul. And the dipping sauce was also delicious, different from others! The private room seating allowed us to spend a relaxing time and we were very satisfied!

The Chateaubriand steak was indeed tender and delicious, but compared to other places, it lacked a bit of sweetness in the meat. The other cuts like kalbi were so-so for the price. The sauce wasn't to my liking. The kimchi wasn't my taste either. As someone who has been to Korea over 10 times and always eats cold noodles after barbecue, this was the worst I've ever had. The thick noodles were clumped together in a way I've never seen before, and for the first time in my life, I left it uneaten. The staff were kind, and the private-like divided seating was nice, so it was disappointing.

Appearance, atmosphere inside the restaurant, location: I discovered a delicious-looking yakiniku restaurant sandwiched between two famous ramen shops, a 6.7-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The storefront had a prominent display of Kobe beef. We were seated in a calm atmosphere with semi-private seating. There was a counter near the entrance and a tatami area at the back. Food we ordered: - Draft beer: 528 yen - Glass of red wine: 528 yen - Special salted tongue: 1298 yen - Chef's special steak with sudare sauce: 3278 yen - Ichigyu's famous Kobe 8-tier platter: 8778 yen Impressions: It was my first visit to this restaurant in a while. I eagerly ordered a beer and started with the cabbage appetizer dipped in yakiniku sauce (miso sauce) before taking a sip of beer. The special salted tongue arrived quickly, with a cut in the meat allowing it to cook fast. I squeezed some lemon on the tongue and washed it down with beer. It was heavenly! Next, the chef's special steak arrived, thick and hearty on the hot plate. I cut it into easy-to-eat pieces with scissors and enjoyed it with sauce. If you want to truly savor the taste of meat, this is it! The beer disappeared quickly. Then came the main dish, Ichigyu's famous Kobe 8-tier platter: Kobe beef loin, Kobe beef yakiniku, special salted tongue, premium sirloin, special loin, special Japanese beef cutlets, special kalbi, and special harami. What a luxurious lineup! The Kobe beef loin and premium sirloin were enjoyed with wasabi soy sauce, a perfect match for the elegant fat of the Kobe beef. The sirloin had a different flavor, with sweet fat, absolutely delicious! The Japanese beef cutlets were a perfect combination of lean meat and fat. Each item in this 8-tier platter was top-quality meat, so satisfaction was guaranteed! I definitely want to come back again. Thank you for the delicious meal!
