We had a New Year's party at work with 8 people, using the 5000 yen course with Party Plan A including 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink. The alcohol all-you-can-drink was delicious and everything looked beautiful, making us very satisfied with the course! We will definitely visit again...

Bistro An Cocotte, a convenient French restaurant just a 40-second walk from Hakata Station. Located in the underground dining area of Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station on the Chikushi side of Hakata Station, it is situated on the left side as you exit and go down the escalator. I visited during lunchtime, and even though I arrived at a slightly off-peak time, the restaurant was quite busy with customers. We were seated at a table towards the back. As expected from an authentic bistro, there were barrels of sparkling wine and wine available, with the option of a 90-minute all-you-can-drink self-service for 1,800 yen (excluding tax) available from 11:30 to 17:00. There were also customers who came to enjoy wine and sparkling wine from noon onwards. Now, since I was there for the weekday lunch special, I quickly looked at the menu. While the roast chicken and French BBC pork ginger were tempting, as a curry lover, I was interested in the Butter Chicken Curry Hamburg. I ordered the Butter Chicken Curry Hamburg for 1,200 yen with the C set for 980 yen (includes fresh salad, assorted appetizers, mini dessert, and coffee) and added cheese sauce with egg yolk for an extra 220 yen. By the way, rice is included, and you can get a free large serving of rice. First, we were served the assorted appetizers and fresh salad. All the homemade charcuterie (pate, terrine, ham, sausage, etc.) were absolutely delicious! The ham, smoked salmon, smoked egg, pate, and more made for a luxurious dish. Before ordering the C set with the assorted appetizers for 980 yen, I thought it was expensive, but once I tasted it, I felt it was definitely worth it. The Onion Consomme Soup with bread was also incredibly delicious. It had the feel of a well-prepared consomme soup, making it another satisfying dish. Then came the main dish, the Butter Chicken Curry Hamburg with a large serving of rice. The added egg yolk and cheese sauce were also a nice touch. When I tried the hamburger, it was incredibly tender and juicy. It was clear that it was made by a first-class chef specializing in meat. The combination of the hamburger with the Butter Chicken Curry made the rice disappear quickly! Furthermore, adding the cheese sauce and egg yolk to the hamburger made it even more irresistibly delicious! I found myself eating the rice at an accelerated pace, and it was quickly devoured. As I was savoring the aftertaste, they promptly cleared the dishes and brought out the mini dessert and coffee. The mini dessert turned out to be not so mini, but instead, a matcha cheesecake with matcha ice cream on the side, and it was delicious. Of course, the coffee was also delicious, and I left fully satisfied. The service was impeccable as well (^-^). Overall, the set course was of high quality, had good portion sizes, and was definitely worth the price! Although I don't usually go out for lunch at this price range, it was a great opportunity to indulge in a little luxury. I look forward to trying out other items on the menu next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal <m(_ _)m> If you have the chance, please give it a try (^-^) #BistroAnCocotte #AnCocotte #HakataStation #OrientalHotelFukuoka #lunch #hamburger #FukuokaGourmet #ramenloverGaso-san

My husband and I stopped by before boarding the Shinkansen on our way back from a trip to watch a baseball game. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was relatively empty, allowing us to sit back and relax. We opted for the chef's choice menu within our budget, which included a platter of ham and sausages, carpaccio, fried tuna, and steak. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The mustard served was particularly to our liking. I don't usually drink wine, but I decided to order some and enjoyed it. Although I'm not knowledgeable about wine, I think wine enthusiasts would appreciate the selection. The staff was polite and had a friendly demeanor, which made the casual atmosphere even more welcoming. Considering the restaurant's location in the hotel basement and its proximity to the station, the total cost for charging, food, and wine for two came to just over 10,000 yen, which I found to be fairly reasonable. I heard that their lunch is also good, so I would love to visit again when I'm back in Fukuoka!

You can enjoy casual French cuisine at "Bistro en cocotte". As the name suggests, the restaurant specializes in steamed and grilled dishes using cocottes (pots or heat-resistant containers), as well as meat dishes. It is located on the basement floor of the "Oriental Hotel Fukuoka," just a 1-2 minute walk from JR Hakata Station's Chikushi exit (Shinkansen exit). While dining at a French restaurant in a hotel may seem expensive, you can enjoy lunch on weekdays starting from 1,200 yen, such as the popular Hamburger Lunch. This time, I tried the slightly luxurious "Choice Course" for 2,090 yen, which requires a reservation for 2 or more people by the day before. The course includes an appetizer platter & salad, soup of the day, choice of main dish, bread or rice, dessert of the day, and coffee. For the main dish, options include "Butter Chicken Curry Hamburger," "100% Beef Hamburger with Demi-Glace Sauce (+100 yen)," "Spicy Roast Chicken," "French BBC Pork Ginger (+400 yen)," and "Grass-Fed Beef 1/2 Pound (225g) Steak with Seasonal Vegetables (+800 yen)." First up was the "Appetizer Platter & Salad," featuring the restaurant's specialty homemade charcuterie. The soup of the day was Vichyssoise, a smooth and creamy potato soup perfect for summer. For the main dish, I had the popular "Butter Chicken Curry Hamburger," with an optional addition of cheese (with egg yolk) for an extra 220 yen. Served in a cast-iron STAUB cocotte, the sizzling hot hamburger with the cheese and egg yolk topping was a delightful indulgence. I chose bread over rice. The dessert of the day was a tart topped with matcha ice cream, enjoyed with illy coffee. Overall, it was a very satisfying lunch near Hakata Station. Bon appétit!

I was curious about this restaurant, so I went for lunch. I chose the set menu for 2090 yen, where you can select your main dish from 5 options. I chose the Butter Chicken Curry Hamburg with cheese topping. The hamburgers were smaller than I expected, with two pieces. The sauce was a spicy curry sauce, which I liked. My friend had the French BBQ Pork Ginger, which was generous in portion and the meat was tender. The restaurant has a smoking area inside, which is convenient for smokers.

Hamburg lunch at Hakata Station "Bistro Gancotte" A French restaurant that has been in business for 18 years near Hakata Station. The lunch is prepared by Chef Charcutier, a first-class meat expert. I ordered the lunch set with the restaurant's specialty, Butter Chicken Curry Hamburg. The meat was tender and moist, making it easy to eat without getting tired. When topped with spicy Butter Chicken Curry and rich cheese, it creates a perfect harmony without feeling too heavy, achieving a balanced and satisfying taste. I also tried the trendy egg on top of the hamburger, which was a bit challenging not to drop! The set includes homemade ham, soup, and dessert, in addition to the hamburger, all for ¥2180. It's a good deal with a decent volume, making it perfect for a girls' lunch gathering.

Bistro An Cocotte Fukuoka City・Hakata Station area Shinkansen exit (Chikushi exit) is located right outside Oriental Hotel's underground restaurant area. During lunchtime, you can enjoy a delicious course meal at a great price. I made a reservation through Tabelog for a lunch with my family. We arrived a bit early and it was quite crowded due to Golden Week, so we had to wait outside for a while until our reservation time. There is now a takeout taco shop next to the entrance, which seems to be opening and closing depending on the situation. When we were seated, we looked at the menu. Lunch courses start from 1,900 yen (for 2 people) and you can choose your main dish. They no longer have the confit dish that was previously available (although it's still listed on Tabelog...). The options now include hamburger, curry, chicken, pork ginger, and steak (additional charges apply for some dishes). We ordered the lunch course for 2,090 yen (tax included) which included an appetizer platter, grilled chicken, soup, rice, dessert, and coffee. The homemade ham, terrine, and smoked salmon appetizer platter was delicious as always. The onion soup had a crispy chicken skin on top. We chose rice, but bread is also an option. For dessert, we had matcha mousse and tart, and coffee for drinks (there is also tea available). My family chose the pork ginger, which was a big thick slice with plenty of pureed ginger sauce. It is made from Galician pork raised on sweet Spanish chestnuts. Despite a 100 yen price increase, the reservation was still a great deal with a fair price. It was still delicious as always. We were a bit disappointed that the confit dish was no longer available, but we were satisfied (hoping for its comeback). We left full and satisfied, it was a fun lunch with my family. Bistro An Cocotte Hakata Station is a 1-minute walk from the Chikushi exit. Operating hours are 11:30-15:00 and 17:00-23:00. No regular holidays (irregular holidays). Takeout menu is available. When visiting, please check the official website for details.

Here in Hakata Station Central Street, I found a place called "Bistro An Cocotte" that looked incredibly delicious. I ordered the An Cocotte Choice Course for 2090 yen, which included the main dish of Butter Chicken Curry Hamburger with a topping of Cheese and Egg Yolk for an additional 220 yen. First, I had the appetizer and soup, both delicious! My favorite was the liver pate. Then, I topped the Butter Chicken Curry Hamburger with cheese and accidentally dropped the egg yolk, so I had to scoop it with a spoon and pour it over the hamburger. Despite that mishap, the hamburger was juicy and flavorful, with a great texture and perfect match with the sauce. Lastly, the dessert was also included and was delicious too. I was very satisfied with the meal. Thank you for the feast!

At the Oriental Hotel's underground tenant in the Chikushi exit rotary of Hakata Station, there is a bistro called "An Cocotte" where a chef with a first-class qualification as a meat expert creates "charcuterie" as well as grilled and cocotte dishes focusing on meat. The unique hamburgers served at lunchtime caught my attention, so I decided to visit. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with red accents, offering seating for about 50 guests in tables for two, sofa seats, and a counter. Due to the current issue of labor shortage, the restaurant operates with only one staff member in the kitchen and one in the dining area, which makes them quite busy. However, they manage to prioritize and serve customers without any dissatisfaction. The lunch menu includes items such as "Grass-fed Beef 1/2 Pound (225g) Steak," "Spicy Roast Chicken," and "Bone-in Chicken Leg Confit," but the highlight seems to be the "Butter Chicken Curry Hamburger" and the "100% Beef Hamburger with Demi-Glace Sauce." I was particularly intrigued by the "Butter Chicken Curry Hamburger," which despite its name, seems to be a juicy and firm textured hamburger made with chicken meat. I decided to try it with an added egg yolk and cheese. The double-layered hamburger, with each patty weighing around 150g, is thick and has a bouncy texture, likely from the finely minced and kneaded chicken meat. The curry sauce, generously drizzled over the hamburger, is spicy and enhanced by the melted cheese, resulting in a rich flavor. While the mild taste of the chicken meat may not be very noticeable, the overall dish was satisfying. The hamburger is served on a bed of potatoes, surrounded by a variety of vegetables such as zucchini, carrots, cauliflower, bell peppers, eggplant, and beets, providing a well-balanced meal.

I want to eat ham! I want to eat sausages! I want to eat meat!! So, I visited Ann-san, who I had been curious about for a while, and chose the beginner's course. The dishes kept coming one after another, and before I knew it, the table was full of happiness. The ham and meat were delicious, and we couldn't stop chatting. It was a night of happiness. Thank you very much. It was a delicious meal!

I arrived a little after 11:30. There was one other customer sitting at the counter when I arrived, and I was also seated at the counter. Last time, I had the hamburger in a cocotte pot, so this time I ordered the Bontacos set for 1380 yen (French tacos + salad + 2 pieces of fried chicken + french fries + drink). I chose the beef chili taco from the three options available. I also got to choose my drink, so I went with the homemade lemonade. The tacos were filled with beef chili, pork BBQ, and chicken truffle, and they were packed with cheese and filling, so much so that just one taco was enough to fill me up. The filling and the shell were both delicious. The fried chicken and homemade lemonade were also delicious.

Lunch course for 1980 yen. I chose chicken confit as the main dish for an additional 100 yen. The appetizer included salad, ham, pate on French bread, boiled egg, and more. The soup was onion soup with French bread inside. The chicken confit had a crispy outer layer. You can choose between French bread or rice. The dessert was strawberry ice cream and chocolate mousse. You can choose between coffee or tea. It was a relaxing dining experience.

I came to Hakata Station, so I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. It's a French bistro located in the basement of the Oriental Hotel. It's a stylish place. I arrived just after the lunch rush, around 1:30 pm, so I made it in time for the last order at 2 pm. I was seated at the counter. They have a variety of lunch options, but the popular one seems to be the hamburger served in a cocotte. I chose the chicken confit (1200 yen) with appetizer, salad, and soup set (780 yen). They served water in a wine bottle, which was exciting. I forgot to take a picture, but there was a wine barrel at the entrance, so some people were enjoying wine. I wanted to have some wine since I ordered an appetizer, but I had plans in the afternoon, so I had to stick with water. The appetizer, salad, and soup arrived on one plate. The ham, pate, and other homemade items were delicious. They were all made by a chef with a first-class meat license. I will definitely order wine next time. They also have a plan with all-you-can-drink, so I'll invite my drinking friends. The main dish, chicken confit, arrived. I love confit. It's a dish where salted meat is slowly cooked in oil and then the skin is crisped up. It has a different texture from the usual chicken sauté. The skin was crispy, and the meat was tender and delicious. It was served with plenty of vegetables. The mustard was also tasty, and it turned out to be homemade too. The lunch comes with rice, but you can ask for a smaller portion. Since I had the appetizer and soup, I was already full. By the way, the rice can be served in a large portion for free, so men can also get full. They also sell various delicious appetizers at the entrance, and some people come just to buy those. I've found a new favorite restaurant. I'll try the hamburger in the cocotte next time. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I found a restaurant near Hakata Station that I had heard of before. After researching, I discovered that it was a restaurant that I had checked on Tabelog about 10 years ago but had never visited due to access issues. I decided to go in without hesitation. I ordered the Premium Chicken Hamburger (¥1,100) with the B set (appetizer, salad, soup for ¥780) added. First, the appetizer and salad arrived. The volume was impressive for a lunch side dish, and the homemade meat items, except for the prosciutto, made me crave wine, but I refrained as I was still working. The soup was rich with onions and bacon, with sweetness coming after the black pepper. The main dish, the hamburger made with chicken, had a deep flavor, and when eaten with the cheese curry sauce on rice, it was twice as delicious. Thanks to the dish, it stayed hot until the last bite. The operation with only two staff members in the kitchen and hall did not cause any stress, and I thought about coming back for dinner as well.

I made a reservation for a lunch course on a regular day. It cost 1980 yen. The appetizer platter was full of ham varieties and lettuce. The soup was full of onions. For the main dish, I chose the 100% beef hamburger. It was hot and hearty. The sauce was light. I chose bread over rice, and got two slices of baguette. The dessert was caramel-based with panna cotta and ice cream. It was a good size. After the meal, they offered coffee but when I mentioned I was pregnant, they switched it to orange juice. The location was easy to find, and the portions were generous, making it an enjoyable experience. The option to choose the main dish was great. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and I felt comfortable, so I am interested in trying their takeout option as well.

This is my first visit since the relocation to "Bistro en Cocotte." I arrived a little after 11:30 and there was one group of customers, just one person, who was seated at a table for four. The water comes in a bottle, which is nice. The Cocotte lunch set (with rice) costs 1,100 yen and includes a premium chicken hamburger with cheese and ripe tomato curry sauce. The hamburger was piping hot from start to finish, filled with various vegetables and plenty of meat, making it very satisfying. There was also a set option available, but the hamburger, packed with meat and root vegetables, was substantial enough on its own. The curry sauce was delicious as well. I am interested in trying the tacos and quiche, so I have decided to visit again. The two male staff members were efficient and provided good service.

It's a stylish restaurant where meat and alcohol go well together. I enjoyed the food. Thank you for the meal.

I found a lunch spot near the station. They offer a limited-time course which includes appetizer, main course (with several options to choose from), soup, bread or rice, dessert, and coffee starting from 2530 yen to 1980 yen! The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and it was quite busy inside, but the staff efficiently handled each table. All the dishes had a well-balanced flavor, and it's guaranteed to make you want to have some drinks. The dessert was also delicious.

Hakata Station is easy to stop by on the Shinkansen side when heading back, so let's order some sparkling wine for now. The Prosecco from Italy's Veneto region is a delicious, not too dry, dry style and super tasty. Today's appetizer platter with 5 varieties for 1100 yen is a great deal. It includes: tender pork fillet carpaccio with a delicious sauce, crispy cheese rice croquette with a creamy center, seafood marinade with a perfect acidity and shrimp, chicken and bacon terrine with a jelly-like texture that I love, and pear and prosciutto with a unique purple sweet potato focaccia. I'll start with an Ebisu Master Draft beer, which is so good it surpasses the richness of Ebisu. I'll also order a red wine from Languedoc to pair with the low-temperature cooked pork. The house-made sausages hanging in the shop look tempting, so I'll go for the Sosis Canpani (coarse ground pork) sausage. The carrot rapé is tangy and goes well with the red wine. The sausage is juicy, meaty, and slightly spicy, perfect with the wine. I'll have another glass of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Languedoc and a New Zealand Pinot Noir, both of which are delicious. I'll also try the Pinot Gris from the same Mission Estate Winery, which is crisp, fruity, and incredibly tasty. The onion gratin soup is a surprise with a generous serving of onions and Gruyère cheese gratin covering a consommé soup underneath. It's a delightful surprise because it looks like a gratin but actually has a delicious consommé soup at the bottom. I'll pair it with the heartwarming and delicious Sauvignon Blanc from Languedoc. The restaurant is known for their cocotte dishes, but I haven't tried them yet, so I'll have to come back for those next time.

When I visited Hakata, I had dinner with my junior at this restaurant. It is a bistro run by a first-class meat expert owner chef, Charcutier. The restaurant is located underground after entering from the Oriental Hotel. It had a cozy and casual atmosphere, and there were many take-out dishes available at the storefront. This time, we ordered a la carte. We shared the dishes with my junior. From the daily recommendations, we ordered the Savory Tart with Smoked Mackerel & Mashed Potatoes for 380 yen, Crab Tartare with Croutons for 780 yen, Chicken Liver Pate for 600 yen, New Zealand Lamb (Lamp) for 780 yen per 100g, Salted Pork Belly and Homemade Sausage "Choucroute" for 1780 yen. We also had barrel-aged wine by the glass (each for 680 yen) - Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The meat dishes were more delicious than I had imagined, and I was very satisfied. In particular, the Chicken Liver Pate at the beginning was sweet, rich, and had a melting texture that I couldn't resist. The smoked mackerel tart with sun-dried tomatoes was also very good with a nice smoky flavor. The Salted Pork Belly and Homemade Sausage "Choucroute" was outstanding, with juicy sausages and thick salted pork belly with bacon, sauerkraut, and potato on the side, providing a very satisfying meal. The drinks were reasonably priced, and I thought the cost performance was very good.

I often eat tacos in Mexico, but I was very curious about what French tacos are like, so I entered the restaurant with great interest. I sat at the counter on the right and ordered the French tacos without hesitation. I thought about ordering wine because it's French, but since it's tacos, I chose beer. The French tacos arrived with a salad. They were wrapped in paper for easy hand eating and were topped with plenty of cheese. It was definitely different from Mexican tacos, with a rich cheese flavor that I thought would go well with wine.

Moved and visited for the second time. This time for a girls' night out. Since I live in Kumamoto, I drank until the last minute and took the Shinkansen back, so I chose this place near Hakata Station. They sell deli items at the entrance of the restaurant. You can take out or eat inside. It's nice that they serve it as an amuse-bouche. However, they only have what's displayed, so if it's not there, you can't choose it. Also, it's written as "Today's" on the menu, so it may not be available depending on the day. [Ordered Items] - Various tarts ¥380 each • Smoked mackerel and mashed potatoes • Pumpkin cream cheese and smoked chicken • Shrimp & potato salad • Tomato & mozzarella - Charcuterie 8 kinds assortment (for 2 people) x2 ¥1600 - Homemade thick-cut bacon and soft-boiled egg salad ¥1100 - Salted pork belly and homemade sausage sauerkraut ¥1780 x2 - B Set x2: Grass-fed beef sirloin, Galician pork shoulder loin, salted pork belly, sausage, grilled vegetables ¥2680 The tarts have a substantial weight and eating one gives a satisfying feeling. The charcuterie is a must-order. Having a variety of 8 kinds in small portions makes you happy. I enjoy eating the sauerkraut as well. The impact of the homemade sausages is remarkable. In the end, I ended up choosing the same things as the last time because they are so delicious. Thank you for the meal.
